anyways SCHOOL right. today i caught my super awesome studious top grades role model student bunking class with the school's head girl. that was crazy. and i was going to bunk english (bc the teacher SUX see next para.) but i was so surprised at seeing her sneak off school bag n all during break that i accidentally bumped into said english teacher and she smiled and said hru LIKEEE KMS NO.

i spent a good 15 minutes hiding in the bathroom from her tho. okay so lemme describe our uniforms for u. so first we have like an erm. top thingy. google "female kurta" and you'll see like this thing w/ slits at the sides etc etc. it's usually shorter than the ones shown bc. uniform. and then we also have like loose fitting pants, and uhh. imagine a doctor's white coat thingy over all that which buttons up. and then a headscarf. ANYWAYS THIS IS RELEVANT BC. theres a girl in our class, the youngest & she's 15 in october. BUT wtv uh her apron (coat thingy is called that) buttons are loose and they keep opening. so obviously the teacher had to help.

so like around 2:30 a bunch of my friends met up at one girl's house and we all got dressed and did makeup together!! my friend kaila did my makeup and i also did my friend jaslene's makeup THEN i had to book it and get to a hair appointment i had at a salon to get my hair done for the dance 💔

after i finished getting my hair done i met with my friends at a restaurant and we all had dinner!! we took some photos outside while we were there and while we were taking photos my foot WAS DEMOLISHED by jaslene's boot heel thing anyway my foot was stepped on and it hurt cause i had open toe heels it was so bad hhhh BUT IM FINE NOW I THINK ‼️‼️

after dinner we all drove to the dance in one car and we were vibing out to baby + hot to go during the drive I COOKED UP THE RAP IN BABY SO HARD im famous amongst my friend group for the rap i always get the mic for that part 🫡

when we got to the dance it was 7:00 and we just had a bunch of fun until 10:00 😭 hugged literally everyone that i knew i love seeing people at dances cause they always look so gorgeous!!!! lots of jumping around in the crowd and scream-shouting lyrics to songs that played... tons of fun 🙂‍↕️ my voice is practically gone now and my feet hurt since i was jumping around in heels the entire night BUT WE ARE SO CHILL it was really enjoyable!!

O tão aguardado retorno da sensação sul-coreana New Jeans surpreende pela versatilidade, enquanto peca pela simplicidade, por ser tão curto e com uma certa preguiça diante da falta de inovação dos produtores, e mesmo assim, as garotas brilham com os vocais nessas novas faixas.

Eu estava levemente ansioso por esse retorno. Desde que o New Jeans lançou uma das minhas faixas favoritas, Ditto, no final de dezembro do ano passado, eu fiquei empolgado por mais músicas das garotas gerenciadas por Min Hee-jin, que encabeçou um dos meus grupos favoritos, o f(x), enquanto estava na SM Entertainment. Após Zero — uma música comercial para a Coca-Cola — e o single OMG, muito se especulava e esperava sobre o comeback das cinco garotas.

Pois aqui estamos, com Get Up, que teve um grande planejamento, digno de um álbum de estúdio, e que me decepcionou levemente por não cumprir minhas expectativas que foram geradas por esse planejamento estrondoso. Com inúmeros clipes, spoilers nas redes sociais, o New Jeans entrega o mesmo de sempre, porém de uma forma reduzida, levando em conta que o álbum tem doze minutos — duração menor que o meu banho.

O álbum abre com a faixa que dá nome ao grupo, New Jeans, lançada como pre-release com a próxima faixa, Super Shy, duas semanas antes do lançamento do álbum. Em um synthpop simplista e que já se tornou uma marca registrada do grupo, essa introdução funciona perfeitamente para criar o clima que vai percorrer o álbum. Em uma espécie de metalinguagem, NewJeans se reapresenta após o primeiro mini-álbum dizendo “Olha, é um novo eu / Mudamos, quem são essas? / Olhe para nós, New Jeans / Tão fresco, tão limpo.”, deixando uma grande expectativa do que está por vir. Porém, a música cai na mesmice de forma que não altera nada no instrumental, como inserções mais sintéticas ou o modo de cantar das meninas, que fazem um bom trabalho em manter o tom em quase dois minutos.

Um dos maiores investimentos desse álbum foi sem dúvida no marketing. New Jeans tem um clipe onde as garotas se transformam nas Meninas Superpoderosas, desenho clássico e que marcou uma geração e que explicita essa mudança entre o primeiro álbum e esse, porém sem perder a essência e estética característica do grupo. O clipe é gracioso e vale muito a pena conferir.

Apesar de New Jeans não ser nada de novo na discografia das meninas ou até mesmo no álbum, é uma música muito deliciosa e que vale a pena ser escutada. Com certeza, essa introdução não foi colocada aqui à toa, o que nós podemos ver bem a partir da próxima faixa.

Super Shy foi o primeiro pre-release oficial do álbum, e acompanhado da b-side do single — e intro do álbum —, volta às tão marcantes origens que conquistaram o coração do mundo. O instrumental etéreo é um grande destaque, Super Shy se encontra entre a melancolia de Ditto e a felicidade das primeiras faixas das meninas. O rap melódico de Hyein é incrível e dá um tom charmoso e diferente à canção. O refrão mantém a tradição simplista na questão de produção do grupo. A transição da intro para Super Shy é uma coisa a se destacar, pois, elas casam perfeitamente bem e foi um grande acerto em manter o clima que a intro constrói.

Diferente do resto do álbum, Super Shy é a única música a qual eu não sinto tanto problema na faixa ser curta, talvez por ela ter mais camadas do que as outras e ser mais bem construída que as outras. Como o último refrão que utiliza de uma robotizada divertidíssima que diferencia dos primeiros, reforçando o quão viciante esse refrão é. O clipe, assim como a faixa, é divertido e jovem. Gravado em Portugal, com cenários em cores vívidas e com flash mobs dignos de fazer um vídeo dançando no TikTok, mantém a essência das garotas anteriormente vista em Attention e Hype Boy, por exemplo.

🐰 + clipe de Super Shy.

Em um bubblegum synth-pop que poderia ser feito pelo Girls’ Generation nos anos 2000, caso tivesse uma produção mais exagerada, New Jeans acerta no alvo ao lançar essa faixa que fala sobre ser tímida demais para confessar seu amor e para o seu crush notar. Gee mandou abraços!

ETA é o maior destaque do álbum justamente por se afastar de tudo que o NewJeans fez antes. Em um dance-pop divertido, meio funky, meio quirky — incomum em uma forma interessante —, com buzinas de ar no instrumental e efeitos de voz que parecem ter saído de qualquer música pop da década passada que usou e abusou desses efeitos e que conquistam demais. Mesmo assim, não fica repetitivo demais — como Super Shy e New Jeans —por ter uma quebra no pré-refrão, cantado em coreano e sem todos esses efeitos divertidos, dando um tom mais sério. Não é à toa que essa faixa é a faixa-título do álbum, pois de fato, é a melhor e mais experimental que o NewJeans até agora.

O clipe, gravado totalmente no iPhone 14 Pro, conta a história da letra. Uma amiga das garotas — Eva, como revelado no clipe — está sendo corna e as garotas resolvem avisá-la e fazer uma música INTEIRA sobre isso. Não poderia ser melhor, não é? Eu adoro como os clipes do NewJeans mantém essa estética delas serem garotas quaisquer, se divertindo, sendo jovens e bonitas. É um clipe belíssimo e uma grande publicidade para a Apple, outro grande acerto desse álbum.

🐰 + clipe de ETA.

Mesmo assim, em um defeito que percorre o álbum inteiro, ETA é curta demais e me deixou com um enorme gostinho de quero mais. Uma ponte, talvez? Não sei. Algo aqui faltou e me incomodou, mas tenho certeza de que vou alcançar muitos scrobbles em meu Last.fm rapidamente, não só pela música ser muito divertida, mas pela sua duração que chega a ser ridícula.

Cool with You foi uma faixa que me decepcionei um pouquinho, justamente por não ter sido tão explorada sonoramente. O instrumental é simples demais e chega a me incomodar, tal qual as duas primeiras faixas do álbum. É uma música delicada e merecia mais apreço do que realmente teve. É o mais próximo de ballad, mesmo ela sendo uma música de influência do UK garage, que temos nesse álbum, e poderia justamente ser MAIOR! Nenhuma música nesse álbum é grande, mas eu não consigo aceitar. O pré-refrão é magnífico e de novo, Hyein dá o seu toque especial e que me faz sorrir. As harmonias e vocais estão no ponto nessa faixa.Porém, a música não se sustenta no refrão que repete o título da música inúmeras vezes. De novo, o último refrão adiciona mais coisas, construindo um clímax que deixa aquele gosto de quero mais, que não é tão bom quanto deveria. COMO ESSA FAIXA SÓ TEM 2:30 DE DURAÇÃO?

Os clipes — porque são duas partes, assim como o de Ditto — são incríveis e contam a história entre o amor proibido de Eros e Psiquê com participação de Jung Hoyeon, de Squid Game, e Tony Leung, de Chungking Express. Jung Hoyeon estrela como Eros, Micol Vela como Psiquê, Tony Leung como o vilão Afrodite. Os clipes são uma incrível releitura do mito, e finaliza de forma majestosa, com Eros assistindo o NewJeans dançando o interlúdio que dá nome ao álbum, Get Up, que tem 30 segundos (ou crime cometido nessa faixa, por isso, vou nem avaliar).

Cool with You e Get Up encontram o grupo replicando a melancolia de Ditto e Hurt de uma forma ainda mais sensível e linda, com certeza, um dos meus clipes favoritos lançados esse ano e um dos destaques do álbum vai para Cool with You.

O álbum se encerra com a — pasmem — curta ASAP, a qual eu estava profundamente ansioso desde que a prévia foi lançada. Com um instrumental delicioso e bastante aproveitado, com direito a sintetizadores sincopados, barulhos de relógio e de jogos, ASAP poderia e tinha potencial para ser a minha preferida e melhor música do álbum. Porém, a música me incomoda porque algumas partes são desconexas, como o último refrão que não combina nada com o último pré-refrão, sem realizar uma transição bem-feita e bonitinha, soando como se tivesse sido feita por um fã que apenas copiou as partes previamente lançadas. A música não ter mais de um verso diferente também me incomoda, pois, a música é quase tudo aquilo que eu já vira no teaser lançado.

Peca pela simplicidade, pela rapidez, mas é um perfeito encerramento para o álbum. Eu gostaria muito de ouvir mais dessa música e com certeza, ela seria minha favorita caso fosse maior. Apesar das ressalvas, ASAP é uma ótima faixa e eu continuarei a amar assim como eu a amei desde que ouvi na prévia, mas eu esperava muito mais. Os vocais fofos e harmoniosos das garotas se casam perfeitamente com o barulho de relógio do refrão, junto ao instrumental etéreo assim como o de Super Shy e Cool with You. É uma ode a tudo que foi feito na carreira das garotas, ao mesmo tempo que encontra uma fronteira a qual deve ser cruzada nos próximos lançamentos.

🐰 Nota para a capa o álbum: 5/5

A capa de Get Up é incrível e finalmente o New Jeans largou aquele coelho que é fofo, mas eu já estava saturado. Get Up não perdeu a estética Y2K que as garotas tentam replicar em todo lançamento, mas realçou isso com nada mais que suas versões como Meninas Superpoderosas, em cores vibrantes e extremamente divertida, assim como o álbum. E não pensem que o coelho foi esquecido, pois, o querido está no canto superior esquerdo.

No Apple Music — plataforma que eu uso —, a capa fica ainda mais dinâmica e fofa, com uma capa animada onde as garotas se movem assim como as heroínas.

🐰 Nota geral para o álbum: 4,1/5

Get Up é um ótimo sucessor de New Jeans (o álbum), pois mostra a versatilidade que as garotas podem fazer e destacar suas diferentes habilidades. New Jeans e Super Shy encontram-se no mesmo local dos lançamentos anteriores, queridos pelo público, e dá para entender o porquê dessas faixas estarem aqui, afinal, não se mexe em time que está ganhando. Todavia, os destaques desse álbum são justamente as novas facetas que foram desbloqueadas com outras canções. ETA, a canção funky que soa mais como um lançamento da segunda geração do K-pop se tivesse uma produção mais “poluída”, poderia ser irmã de Bang! do Afterschool; Cool with You, que facilmente seria uma b-side do lado Velvet do Red Velvet, e ASAP que exala o frescor e jovialidade que o New Jeans tanto se preocupa em reproduzir, levemente mais experimental e divertida.

Talvez, tudo isso seria mais bem aproveitado se as músicas não fossem curtas demais e chegam até ser esquecíveis por não serem de uma duração relevante. Odiei algumas na primeira vez que ouvi, mas aos poucos, algumas foram conquistando meu coração e realçando esse sentimento amargo de querer mandar um e-mail para os produtores e perguntar se eles estavam com preguiça quando estavam trabalhando. É um ótimo álbum sem dúvidas, mas isso é ridículo. O álbum tem uma intro, um interlúdio e quatro faixas onde nenhuma passa de míseros três minutos. Entendo que a tendência são músicas mais curtas, mas nesse caso, não dá, tinham que ter sido mais bem aproveitadas, ainda mais na indústria do K-pop onde tudo é pouco.

Embora esse seja o defeito primordial, é incrível ver que o New Jeans está conquistando seu espaço de forma respeitosa e com uma base tão solidificada. A sua identidade já é fixa na mente de diversos ouvintes, sejam eles casuais ou fãs, e isso é perfeito para um grupo que não tem nem um ano de estreia. Porém, os fãs que vão chorar pagando caríssimo em um show que dificilmente chegará a mais de uma hora, pois somando todas as músicas do grupo, não dá nem isso. Recomendo muito as faixas que têm estrelinha, mas vale a pena escutar o álbum inteiro pelo menos, uma vez. Lembrando que isso aqui não passa da minha opinião :P

JULY 2020 BC ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW

Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of August 7 KST:

A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly limit).

A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on the monthly schedule.

Overall Company

All BC idols are scheduled for a meeting with upper management the day before the news of the upcoming base Culture Complex is leaked to the media. They’re given a more detailed rundown of plans for the facility than the public is, although not all the details are made clear. In the meeting, everyone is informed BC has partnered once again with Dimensions and Gold Star to fund the construction of a new building in Gangnam meant to become the ideal location in the world for fans of idols. The building will include a museum with exhibits dedicated to the history and music of each group and soloist, a handful of theatre venues for intimate concerts and company-sponsored musical productions, a merchandise mall, a cafe, and many other fan experiences. (admin note: For reference, imagine something similar to SM COEX Artium —with over three times the budget.) The idols won’t spend much time there even once it’s finished being built, but content starring them is critical to the financial success of the venture, so the next several months leading up to its opening will have all three companies’ idols working hard to make its opening a success. This month, that mostly involves producing photo shoots: all idols will attend a photo shoot session this month where three categories of photo will be tacked: profile pictures for the artist wall (grayscale, professional and serious tone), images for life-sized cutouts of each idol (wardrobe will consist of jeans and a single-color top for each idol, fun and bright tone with fanservicable poses such as here and here encouraged) and 3D imaging for 3D-printed figures of each idol.

BC Soloist 1

Since everything is filmed and shot for her comeback, most of July is about practicing and perfecting her performance, which has been the biggest praise point since her debut. Upon its release, “Love U” isn’t as big of a smash hit as “Roller Coaster” was, but, as a summer release, the improvement from “Why Don’t You Know”’s already impressive performance is clear. While her true staying power has yet to proven seeing as she’s still a rookie soloist, her future looks promising in a way upper management is clearly pleased with for their first soloist in a decade.

While their maknae heads back overseas to tour with CHAMPION, the rest of the group will keep practicing to make their comeback on the 13th. Promotions are kept to a minimum, without any fansigns to boost album sales, and, unfortunately, the more mellow vibe of the song doesn’t click with the public for the summer as well as BC would have hoped, leaving them with an abysmal chart performance, though the comeback still brings in a profit thanks to their dedicated fans.

CHAMPION has already broken records, soaring to the top of the Billboard Hot 200 album chart last month, a feat only Origin has previously achieved. The achievement has BC and Dimensions quite proud and the lack of significant performance on the Korean charts isn’t considered a big deal to them due to the overseas success. This month, they begin their tour in Texas (flying out from Seoul late on July 5) and hold five US dates total before they fly out back to Seoul in the early morning hours of July 12. As previously mentioned, the two involves all of the songs on their mini-album, two unreleased songs (”Dangerous Woman” and “With You”), and solo stages by those who have made solo debuts before the tour.

Shortly after, they’ll shoot the music video for “Darling”, and then the rest of the month is focused on preparing for their Seoul concerts. Each member will continue to rehearse their self-chosen solo cover stages for the concert (admin reminder: please avoid choosing songs that could be claimed as points claimed songs and have not been released in-’verse). At the end of the month, they’ll perform “I Like That”, “I Swear”, “Touch My Body”, and “Loving U” at a resort festival.

The full album should be recorded before they perform at a resort festival at the end of the month. Their set will consist of “Love Shot”, “Enough”, and their older summer hit “Kokobop”.

Lipstick

Lipstick finishes their promotions for “Wild” in the first half of the month. While it doesn’t earn them any music show wins, the song has been fairly well-received in comparison to their last release. They’ll make a short appearance on MBC Starry Night radio show before kicking into the last week of promotions, but as an eight year senior group, music shows to connect with fans are the main focus. Near the end of the month, they’ll perform “Wild”, “Glue”, and “Lil’ Touch” at a resort festival, but work on Queendom is also in full force. They’ll be filming the first two episodes of Queendom on July 16 and July 30 (the latter date also happens to be their debut anniversary), and they’ve been asked to prepare a performance of their representative hit song, “Genie”. Faz quase uma década que a SM Entertainment realizou seu evento SM Town Live pela última vez no Madison Square Garden em 2011, mas ontem à noite (19 de novembro), a mais nova boy band formada pela empresa, SuperM, trouxe seus talentos para o famoso local da cidade de Nova York para dar à Big Apple o primeiro sabor do que significa ser um supergrupo de K-pop.

Com cerca de 1 hora e 40 minutos, o We Are The Future Live, do SuperM, parecia menos um show com a música do grupo e mais uma promessa do seu potencial. Menos de dois meses, desde o lançamento de seu EP de estreia na Billboard 200, em 4 de outubro, o evento foi uma amostra tentadora do que mais está por vir, à medida que eles continuam nesse novo caminho, e uma reintrodução de sorte para os sete artistas.

On the day of my 1st Birthday,I don’t remember much since I’m only one years old. But in this picture we can see some of the things that happen that day.I was so happy because there was a chocolate cake although I didn’t blew my own candles my mama help me.In this picture the background is when we were at sm and I enjoyed that day.

2 YEARS OLD

In this picture,I was 2 years old I think it was randomly taken by my mama.Since I’m only 2 years old I don’t remember anything but I was holding a pacifier that I give to my mama because she taking me a picture so in that picture I decided to cover up my face but my whole face wasn’t covered.At the same time,that time I bond with my cousins which is my ate and kuya they’re very loving cousins to me.

My mama said that I need to change my clothes na because my lolo from cavite will visit us. When my lolo arrived here in Batangas,madami daming kaganapan ang nangyari and they took a pictures and that picture I’m with a boy na hindi ko naman kilala when I saw that picture I was wonder na sino to,kilala ko ba to? I ask my mama and my mama said that he is my cousin naman pala sa side ni papa.

6 YEARS OLD

in this picture,I was 6 years old and I’m a grade 1 student and as I remembered that,our school have a event which is the nutrition month.So my teacher choose me to represent not only our section but the whole department of grade 1. That time I didn’t know what I was going to do because it was my first time to compete in the contest.i was shy to facing a lot of people but thank god that my mama is always there by my side to support me,and in that way I was strong enough to face the compete in our school.

On February 14 our school had a Mr. and Ms. Valentine and my teacher choose me again to be Ms.Valentine of the year and when my mama found out that I was chosen again, she agreed. My mama bought new clothes for me to use in the event she also did my make up. I enjoy that event and to look presentable in front of people.

7 YEARS OLD

In that picture, I was 7 years old and as I remembered sobrang daming kaganapan na nangyari my papa was still on Saudi Arabia that year but he told his boss that he was going here in the Philippines for my 7th birthday. Mama and Papa are already planning for my birthday and they have decided V They are already thinking about who will be placed on the 7th 7th and then they have made invitations that will be distributed to those who will be invited.

When my birthday celebration was started I’m so very excited and happy madaming dumating nung araw na yon and I’m so very blessed. There were many games that all the children enjoyed especially me, there were also many prizes and giveaways. I also received many gifts and I thanked them all, after that, we taking a pictures to have a remembrance. My heart was so happy that day but at the same time my heart was broke because my papa need to go back to Saudi.

9 YEARS OLD

In this picture I was 9 years old that time our school have a contest/event and I was chosen to compete again.Then I need to wear a gown so me and my mama went to taal to choose and rent a gown so mama chose and I also liked that gown in the picture because the program will be held in the afternoon so it's perfect because at night it will look glowing.n the midde of the program,they are already giving awards to the contestants. And I’m so proud to myself that I got awards.

The next day we went at sm lipa because we have a family bonding.We went around and looked at what we could buy,in department store we bought new clothes,shoes. Suddenly, nakakita ako ng mga salbabida na may cartoon character and I go there, mama followed me I sat by the swimming pool and I pose my mama said that she will take a picture of me.

11 YEARS OLD

In this picture,I was 11 years old in that picture we can see that I’m doing makeup because our school have a coronation night so around 5pm inaayusan na ako. And in the middle of that time giving a awards na sa mga winners and im so glad na mostly of the awards went to me.

Finally I’m graduating na ng grade 6 in that day,mama said na picturan daw nya ako,. When our graduation song was played, I suddenly cried tagos sa puso ko yung kanta. Then teacher called the names one by one to go on satge. And I graduated with students who are achievers too,I’m so happy that day because I finished my grade 6 / elementary journey,I gave the certificate to mama and I said that it was for her and papa.

The other day,papa’s bestfriend came to the house and he said na pupunta daw kami sa dagat and good thing, mama agreed to take me with them. we just walked by the sea and took pictures, we bonded happily.

12 YEARS OLD

In this picture,I was grade7 at taal national high school and we can see in that picture I wearing a jumper, because it’s our christmas party at school sobrang dami ding ganap,I remember that time na may nagpapapicture sakin and then he gave me a gift from penshoppe (t-shirt) and nagdadalawang isip ako kung tatanggapin ko ba yung gift but I realize that if I don’t accept that gift It's a waste of money to buy and the effort.To the people who took pictures and gave me gifts at that time, thank you very much!

We can also see my picture at the stage, that will end the school year for 2018-2019. And I graduated from grade 7 with high honors so I have a medal I’m so happy that time, because I got through that one year successfully all the awards I got that year were always for mama and papa and also for myself.

13 YEARS OLD

In this picture,I was 13 years old and I’m grade 8 student in the first section ,the diamond section that time or that year I have classmates in that section who were also my classmates in grade 7, so I'm not too out of place with my classmates.We are always chikahan about sa kung ano-ano lang. I remembered that time na tapos na ang klase naming nyan and vacant naming so we decided to takes some picture because of the sunset.So, one of my friends in that time said she wants to took me a picture so I agreed. She said bakit ganun,ang ganda mo talaga.And after class we went out to go to the taal market to eat some delicious foods. After that we go home na because it’s already 5pm na when I got home I have hange my clothes and to take some rest but before ako magrest,I thought of taking a selfie that time and after that I slept.

14 YEARS OLD

in this picture I was 14 years old In our school, intramurals are held, so the teachers went around looking for someone to represent each team and I was one of the ones chosen to represent the gray team, which has different grades in the team. I remember that I didn't have a partner yet so they looked for me at that time and the one they found to be my partner was in grade 9 and when we went to their room they suddenly started shouting and I don't know why it turns out that his other classmates have a crush on me then they were still shouting when my partner approached us because we had a practice. in the program itself, I was about to go backstage but our gym was immediately full so someone from the gray team saw me and then suddenly grabbed the whole gym na andyan na si jilliane then all the gray team cheered. then all the gray team cheered. announced who the winners are and I am one of the winners I was 2nd runner up.

15 YEARS OLD

in this picture I was 15 years old my religion is Iglesia Ni Cristo and that time in the morning tupad ako nang kalihim and I woke up around 4am dahil ang panata o ang panalangin ay 5:30am but the all in is 5:15am. After worship I went home and ate I changed my clothes too.Around 4pm bumalik na ako sa kapilya to office what needs to be done so after that me and my friends thought of going to sm because we all finished going to the office when we were in sm we ate first and then wandered around it feels so good,makes you relax. We were looking at what to buy,in our wanderings hindi na naming namalayan ang oras it’s getting late na pala we ate bibingka first before we went home and bought a drink, then my friend called the person who would pick us up and while we were waiting outside we took a picture.

16 YEARS OLD

in this picture I was 16 years old in that picture we can see that I wearing a dress because it’s our thanksgiving in Iglesia Ni Cristo there were so many worshipers at all times of worship, right from the beginning na pag-awit ng mga mang-aawit is immediately felt the presence of God. in my preparation to worship I prepared what I would wear and, especially myself another year has passed in my life that God took care of me so I will continue to worship and serve him.

It was planned that we will have a year end party that's why we are also planning what we will perform. At first we thought we would roll play, but we didn't have enough time, so we decided to just dance. We only practiced for almost 5 days but the outcome was still good that time there were so many events I borrowed an iPhone to take pictures so that the quality of the picture is good. After taking pictures, we entered and started the program. I was very happy, blessed, and enjoyed that day before the end of the year 2022. You can really say Happy Pagod,and I’m always proud to be Iglesia Ni Cristo.

As Melhores Músicas do SNSD!( História do grupo) Parte 1

Antes do debut

O projeto de Girl Group da SM – Showcase 1

Membros: Lee YeonHee, Hwang BoRa, Bae SeoBin, Zhang LiYin, Jessica Jung, Kim HyoYeon, Kwon Yuri, Choi SooYoung, Im Yoona, Seo JuHyun, Kim YeJin

Líder: Lee Yeon-hee (1988) | Maknae: Kim YeJin (1993)

Em 2005, SM Entertainment lançou o grande boy group Super Junior, e então continuou com o plano de ter um grande girl group equivalente. SM organizou um showcase com o número total de garotas sendo 11. Onze! Muito mais que nove!

E-D/ JuHyun, Yuri, BoRa, SeokBin (?), YeJin (?), SooYoung, LiYin, HyoYeon, Jessica

Porém, a formação desse grupo projeto não durou muito tempo. A formação passou pela sua primeira grande revisão. De 11 garotas, só 6 delas ficaram no grupo.

DENTRO: Seo HyunJin, Park SoYeon, Stella Kim, Jang HaJin, Lee HwanHee

FORA: Lee YeonHee, Hwang BoRa, Bae SeokBin, Zhang LiYin, Kim YeJin

Tanto Lee Yeonhee quanto Hwang Bora são conhecidas hoje como atrizes. Yeonhee participou de Millionaire First Love, Hello! Schoolgirl (Sooyoung teve um papel nesse filme como sua mulher amiga), e o drama East of Eden. Hwang Bora participou do filme Jumunjin com Kim Kibum do Super Junior. Zhang Liyin (também conhecida como Jang Ri-in) debutou como cantora solo em 2006. Apesar de Kim Yejin ainda ser registrada como trainee da SM, ela também participou do clipe A.MI.GO do SHINee. Com exceção de Hwang Bora, elas ainda estão com a SM Entertainment.

Interessantemente, as seis meninas que ficaram no grupo foram Jessica Jung, Kim Hyoyeon, Kwon Yuri, Choi Sooyoung, Im Yoona e Seo Juhyun. Haviam mais revisões da formação vindo, mas todos sabemos que essas seis ficaram na formação final. Elas praticamente tinham deixado seu lugar no grupo seguro desde o começo.

Havia uma adição de 5 meninas no grupo: Seo Hyunjin, Park Soyeon, Stella Kim, Jang Hajin e Lee Hwanhee. Antes do grupo, Seo Hyunjin foi a vocalista principal e a maknae do grupo M.I.L.K da SM, que se desfez. A trainee Park Soyeon era pra ser uma das principais vocalistas do grupo. Enquanto a trainee coreana-americana, Stella Kim, também era uma das principais vocalistas do grupo, e também era a “face” (junto com Im Yoona)

Devido a várias razões, a SM decidiu substituir o membro mais velho (Seo Hyunjin) e o mais novo (Lee Hwanhee) com membros relativamente novos, Kim Taeyeon e a trainee coreana-americana Stephanie Hwang. Naquela época, a Taeyeon e a Stephanie tinham sido treinadas “apenas” por cerca de dois anos.

Esta line-up é provavelmente a mais conhecida para fazer um grupo semelhante ao Super Junior. Neste ponto, os netizens começaram a chamar esse projeto do grupo de Super Girls. Na verdade, a SM Entertainment tinha planejado inicialmente debutar esse girl group de 11 meninas. Até já tinham tirado fotos do grupo.

A line-up tinha Soyeon como líder (como ela era a mais velha entre as onze meninas) e Juhyun como a maknae (a mais nova). As vocalistas principais eram Soyeon, Taeyeon, Jessica, Stephanie, Stella, e Juhyun. As dançarinas principais eram Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung e Yoona. Enquanto a “linha visual” eram Jessica, Stella, Yoona e Hajin.

As meninas novas, Kim Taeyeon e Stephanie Hwang, ambas foram recrutadas pela SM em 2004. Taeyeon ganhou o prêmio de “Melhor Cantor” em 2004 no “SM 8th Annual Best Contest”. Park Soyeon também foi recrutada depois que venceu o mesmo concurso em 2005.

Apesar do plano de debutar esse grupo, a SM decidiu acrescentar mais pessoas no line-up. Por outro lado, Stella Kim e Jang Hajin acabaram sendo cortadas do grupo. Havia um boato de que foi por causa de sua falta de habilidades na dança. Mas para Stella, teve outros boatos de que seus pais se recusaram a deixar ela debutar antes de conseguir um diploma. Na terceira revisão, foram chamadas para o grupo: Lee Soonkyu, Lee Hwanhee e Heo Chanmi. Soonkyu foi recrutada graças à recomendação do SM Towner Ahyoomi. Antes da sua audição para a SM Entertainment, Soonkyu treinou na empresa do Wheesung. Infelizmente, a empresa faliu. Lee Hwanhee foi re-recrutada para o grupo. Heo Chanmi se juntou ao grupo como a garota mais jovem.

Essa line-up tem 12 membros, ao contrário do plano inicial de 11 membros. Neste ponto (meados de 2006), o grupo passou por um monte de testes para decidir quem seria cortada do grupo. Sites como o Naver e Daum tinham postado essa previsão da line-up, com a Lee Soonkyu sendo a “trainee misteriosa”.

Como você pode ver, a última imagem é a mais próxima para a line-up final. Lee Hwanhee e Heo Chanmi estavam sendo cortadas do grupo. Algumas pessoas disseram que a SM havia planejado estreiar o grupo com essa line-up de 10 membros. Infelizmente, uma das vocalistas principais e “líder” do grupo, Park Soyeon decidiu sair devido ao treinamento duro e problemas pessoais. Bem, todos nós sabemos muito bem quem foi para a line-up final. O grupo de nove meninas nomeado de “소녀시대 (So Nyuh Shi Dae)”, o que significa literalmente “Era das Donzelas”. Não é brincadeira. Até as meninas ficaram surpreendidas o quanto antiquado o nome parecia. Quando o nome do grupo foi anunciado, os coreanos ficaram perplexos e surpreendidos com a escolha estranha do nome. Felizmente, elas têm “Girls’ Generation” como o seu nome em inglês, em vez do sentido literal. O nome do grupo foi tomado de um hit de 1989 do Lee Seungchul chamado “So Nyuh Shi Dae”. Achei interessante como a música foi um sucesso no ano de 1989, ano em que a maioria dos membros do SNSD nasceram. E quem teria pensado que elas conseguiriam acender esse nome, liderando os girls groups, dois anos depois que debutaram.

2007

Em Julho de 2007, o SNSD teve sua primeira performance não oficial no School Of Rock. A música que as garotas cantaram era ”Into The New World, que se tornou seu primeiro single. Um show documentando o debut das garotas intitulado M.Net’s Girls Go To School foi filmado durante o tempo. A música teve um lançamento físico, que incluiu outras duas músicas, ”Beginning” e ”Perfect For You”, que mais tarde teve seu nome alterado para ”Honey” para o álbum intitulado ”Girls’ Generation”, o álbum de debut do SNSD. SNSD apresentou o single no Inkigayo, Music Core, e no Music Bank.

O debut oficial foi dia 5 de Agosto de 2007, e pôde ser considerado um sucesso, já que o Girls’ Generation, logo em seus primórdios, conseguiu o primeiro lugar no M! Countdown, no dia 11 de Outubro, mostrando a popularidade crescente do grupo. Poucos grupos na história do K-pop conseguiram realizar tal feito, já que isto representa entrar no mercado musical coreano como um dos melhores.

Depois de uma pequena pausa, o primeiro álbum completo do grupo foi lançado ainda em 2007, no outono, sendo a música tema, o single ”Girls’ Generation” (“소녀시대”), um cover do hit de Lee Seung-Chul. A promoção do novo single começou em Novembro. Marcado por coreografias e pelos vocais, “Girls’ Generation” foi um sucesso para o grupo, o álbum vendeu 121.143 cópias até à data, ficando em 8º lugar nas paradas de fim de ano.

2008

Nesse ano, o SNSD começou a promover seu segundo single, ”Kissing You”. O vídeo conta com a participação de Donghae, do Super Junior. Esta canção alcançou o 1º lugar em três principais programas de música da TV, o Inkigayo, da SBS, o M.Countdown! da Mnet e o Music Bank da KBS.

Em Março, o álbum foi relançado e retitulado como ”Baby Baby”. Um terceiro single, ”Baby Baby”, foi usado para promover o álbum. Um EP digital estrelando Jessica, Tiffany e Seohyun foi lançado em Abril de 2008, intitulado Roommate, o single para o mini-album foi ”Oppa Nappa”. Em 26 de Dezembro de 2008, posters das integrantes do SNSD com camisetas brancas, jeans e patins foram colocados em vários locais em torno de Seul. Os posters ficaram tão populares que as linhas telefônicas da SM Entertainment foram bloqueadas por ligações perguntando se os posters estavam à venda e a companhia foi forçada a falar aos fãs para pararem de pegar os posters para uso pessoal. Três dias mais tarde, em 29 de Dezembro, o empresário do grupo confirmou que os posteres eram de fato para anunciar seu primeiro EP, The First Mini Album: Gee no mês seguinte, em Janeiro de 2009.

2009

Esse ano foi a decolada do foguete do SNSD para o sucesso absoluto. Um trailer foi lançado em Janeiro de 2009 e o primeiro single ”Gee” lançado em pouco tempo depois. A música conseguiu ser a número um em todas as paradas músicas com apenas dois dias após o lançamento. O videoclipe foi visto mais de 1 milhão de vezes na GomTV no dia que foi lançado. O clipe veio para quebrar o status do Diamond Track na GomTV depois de alcançar a marca de 5 milhões em 16 de Janeiro.

O grupo começou a promover o álbum em Janeiro de 2009 no Music Core, onde cantou sua nova música, ”Gee”, como também a canção ”Himnae” (“Way To Go”), outra música de seu mini-album. “Gee” foi um hit fenomenal, avassalador, destruidor, aniquilidor, arrasador e extraordinário, quebrando recordes e mais recordes, como ter ficado em primeiro lugar no Music Bank nove vezes consecutivas, ficando no topo de paradas como Mujikon, Melon e M.Net por oito semanas também consecutivas, a Dosirak por sete semanas, Muse por seis semanas e Baksu por quatro semanas.

Depois de uma pequena pausa, a SM Entertainment anunciou que o grupo iria voltar com um novo mini-álbum com um conceito diferente, o de “Marinheiras”. O novo single foi chamado ”Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)”; com o mini álbum sendo lançado digitalmente dia 22 de Junho de 2009. O grupo começou suas atividades promocionais em 26 de Junho, se apresentando no Music Bank. A apresentação foi seguida pelo retorno de performances no Music Core e no Inkigayo em 27 e 28 de Junho de 2009. O lançamento do dísco foi adiado pela SM Entertainment porque precisavam refazer a arte do álbum, e foi lançado quatro dias depois, no dia 29 de Junho de 2009.

A música fez bastante sucesso. Conquistou vários sites de música como o Melon, Dosirak, MNet, Bugs e foi primeiro na parada semanal de ringtones da primeira semana de Julho. O mini-álbum vendeu aproximadamente 50,000 cópias na primeira semana depois do lançamento.

A primeira vitória com a música ”Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)” foi em 10 de Julho de 2009 no Music Bank. Seu segundo prêmio foi conquistado em 12 de Julho de 2009 no Inkigayo e por aí foi. O grupo terminou de promover ”Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)” em Agosto de 2009.

Em Novembro de 2009 SM Entertainment anunciou que o grupo iria iniciar a sua primeira tour pela Asia intitulada Girls’ Generation 1st Asia Tour: Into the New World. Os bilhetes para os concertos foram colocados á venda dia 19 de Novembro e esgotaram em apenas 3 minutos. A tour iniciou com dois concertos marcados para 19 e 20 de Dezembro de 2009 na Coréia, e começaram os concertos internacionais na China em Abril. Mais tarde, o grupo anunciou que haveria mais dois concertos ”Encore” dias 27 e 28 de Fevereiro.

2010

Em Janeiro, a SM Entertainment confirmou o lançamento de ”Oh!”, o segundo álgum do grupo que seria lançado dia 28 do mesmo mês. O primeiro single “Oh!”, foi digitalmente lançado em 25 de Janeiro com o MV sendo lançado dois dias depois. Em 30 de Janeiro, o grupo começou a promover a música no programa Music Core. A transmissão da performance terminou antes do esperado devido a problemas elétricos, porém mais tarde foi disponibilizado online. Com ”Oh!”, o grupo ganhou cinco vezes consecutivas no Music Bank.

Em 11 de Março, fotos das integrantes foram lançadas online em um conceito dark nomeado de Black SoShi..Um teaser do novo single ”Run Devil Run” foi lançado dia 16 de Março, e a música completa no dia 17 de Março. Com a combinação das vendas do álbum e single, SNSD vendeu mais álbuns que qualquer outro artista no primeiro semestre de 2010. ♥

No meio de Junho, foi anunciado que o grupo assinou um contrato em Maio, e iria trabalhar com a gravadora Universal Music Japan para promover no Japão, com seu primeiro single com previsão de ser lançado em Setembro de 2010. O SNSD começou a promover no Japão em Agosto. 少女時代到来～初来日記念盤～ (Girls’ Generation’s Arrival ～ First Time in Japan Commemoration Disc ～), um DVD apresentando 7 de seus MVs como também um ensaio fotográfico lançado em 11 de Agosto, com uma edição especial do DVD contendo um lighstick rosa e um ingresso para a estreia no Tokyo Ariake Colliseum em 25 de Agosto. De acordo com a Universal Music Japan, o DVD alcançou considerável sucesso e ficou esgotado na pré-venda. Na primeira semana depois do lançamento, o DVD vendeu 23,000 cópias, ficando em quarto lugar no ranking de DVDs da Oricon e em terceiro lugar no ranking semanal, fazendo o SNSD o primeiro grupo de k-pop a fazer parte do ranking da Oricon.

Entre suas atividades japonesas, o grupo participou do SMTown Live ’10 World Tour com seus companheiros da SM dia 21 de Agosto no Estádio Olímpico de Seoul.

Em 25 de Agosto, o grupo teve sua primeira apresentação no Tokyo Ariake Colliseum. De início, era esperado cerca de 10 mil pessoas. Mas o número foi crescendo, e o grupo precisou se apresentar em três lugares diferentes no mesmo dia para não deixar nenhum fã na mão. SNSD cantou cinco das suas músicas coreanas em cada um dos showcases, e é estimado que o público das três apresentações somadas foi cerca de 22 mil pessoas. Nesse mesmo showcase, o PV de Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) foi revelado pela primeira vez ao público.

Seu primeiro single lançado no Japão, a versão japonesa de ”Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)” alcançou o quinto lugar no mesmo dia na Oricon e mais tarde a segunda posição, ganhando a quarta posição da semana no ranking. Em 20 de Outubro, o segundo single japonês, “Gee”, e em 26 de Outubro de 2010 foi anunciado que ele alcançou o primeiro lugar na Oricon Daily Chart, sendo o primeiro grupo feminino asiático que não era japonês a conseguir o feito.

Em 27 de Outubro de 2010, o grupo lançou seu terceiro mini-album, ”Hoot”, que consiste de cinco músicas. O MV foi lançado dia 28 de Outubro. SNSD recomeçou suas atividades promocionais no palco do Music Bank dia 29 de Outubro. Em 30 de Outubro,”Hoot” ficou em primeiro lugar na semana na Gaon Chart.

SNSD além de ter promovido simultaneamente “Hoot” e “Gee” na Coréia e no Japão respectivamente, ainda participou do FNS Music Festival no Japão com dois singles japoneses, ”Gee” e ”Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)” em 4 de Dezembro. O festival foi feito pela Fuji Television.

Em 9 de Dezembro de 2010, o grupo participou do Golden Disk Awards , onde elas acabaram ganhando o Disk Daesang (Álbum do Ano) para o seu segundo álbum ”Oh!”, e nenhum outro grupo feminino jamais havia ganhado o prêmio.

Dia 15 de Dezembro de 2010, o grupo também participou do Melon Music Awards, ganhando os prêmios de “Best Dressed Singer” e “Hot Trend Song” pela sua última música, “Hoot”, assim como o prêmio de Artista do Ano. Esse foi o segundo prêmio consecutivo de Artista do Ano para o grupo.

Elas ainda foram colocadas na 44ª posição da lista de “Líderes Coreanos Poderosos” do “Asia Today”, sendo o único grupo artístico da lista. Elas ainda foram designadas como “Artistas do Ano” pela Dosirak, Soribada, Korea Gallup, Hanteo e Sport Korea e ainda venceu o “Melhor Música do Ano” com “Oh!” no Monkey 3.

2011

Hoot recebeu o certificado de Ouro pela Record Industry Association of Japan. No início de 2011, o grupo preparou uma nova canção intitulada “Visual Dreams”, como parte de sua colaboração com a Intel. O videoclipe de “Visual Dreams” foi lançado em 17 de janeiro, junto com diversas campanhas promocionais incluindo a nova música, vídeos musicais em 2D e 3D, sites de internet, fotos e displays de loja.

Na segunda metade de janeiro, foi anunciado que o grupo estaria retornando ao mercado musical japonês através do lançamento da sua versão em japonês de “Run Devil Run” como single digital, lançado em 25 de janeiro de 2011.

Em 20 de janeiro, no 20º Seoul Music Awards, o grupo recebeu o prêmio de Artista do Ano, prêmio Bonsang, prêmio de Popularidade e o prêmio Hallyu. Por isto, Girls’ Generation tornou-se um dos quatro artistas na história da música coreana (os outros são Seo Taiji, Jo Sungmo e H.O.T.) a vencer dois consecutivos prêmios de Artista do Ano no Seoul Music Awards. O grupo também tornou-se o único girl group na história a receber prêmios de Artista do Ano no Seoul Music Awards e Melon Music Awards por dois anos consecutivos. Elas também receberam dois prêmios Daesang no Golden Disk Awards.

Em 20 de janeiro, a sua música ”Gee”, foi certificada como platina pelo RIAJ pelos seus downloads, de acordo com Chaku-UTA.

Em 8 de março, a SM Entertainment anunciou em seu website oficial sobre o lançamento do terceiro single em japonês de Girls’ Generation e sua primeira turnê no Japão. Em 27 de abril, Girls’ Generation lançou o seu terceiro single em japonês “Mr. Taxi / Run Devil Run“, que inclui sua primeira canção original em japonês “Mr. Taxi”, e o remake em japonês de sua canção “Run Devil Run“. Uma parte do rendimento do single “Mr. Taxi / Run Devil Run” seria doado à Cruz Vermelha do Japão, a fim de prestar assistência às vítimas do terremoto e tsunami de Tohoku de 2011. Em 9 de abril, o videoclipe em japonês de “Run Devil Run” foi lançado.

Também foi anunciado que o grupo embarcaria para uma turnê no Japão, intitulada The 1st Japan Arena Tour, que iniciou em Osaka em 31 de maio. Um total de 14 concertos em 6 cidades foram realizados ao longo de um período de um mês e meio.

No MTV Video Music Aid Japan (VMAJ), o Girls’ Generation foi indicado para três prêmios, nas categorias de “Melhor Vídeo de Grupo”, “Melhor Vídeo do Ano” e “Melhor Canção de Karaokee!”. Girls’ Generation apresentou duas canções no evento, ao lado de artistas mundialmente famosos como Tokio Hotel, Lady Gaga e AKB48. Em 2 de julho, foi anunciado que elas venceram em duas das três categorias indicadas, em “Melhor Vídeo de Grupo” e “Melhor Canção de Karaokee!” com a versão japonesa de “GENIE“.

Em 1º de junho de 2011, elas lançaram seu primeiro álbum de estúdio original em japonês, o Girls’ Generation. Este álbum contém 12 canções incluindo os singles “Genie”, “Gee”, “Run Devil Run”, “MR. TAXI” e uma versão japonesa de “Hoot”.

O Girls’ Generation foi certificado como Platina (250.000 vendas) pela Recording Industry Association of Japan em 14 de junho de 2011, sendo o quinto álbum coreano a conseguir tal feito após S.E.S, BoA, TVXQ e KARA. Em seguida, o Girls’ Generation foi certificado como Platina Duplo (500.000 vendas) em 8 de julho de 2011, sendo o primeiro girlgroup a atingir a marca.

O grupo também estabeleceu um recorde para o maior volume de vendas do primeiro álbum como artista estrangeiro no Japão. Girls’ Generation é o quarto artista a obter o primeiro lugar na parada semanal de álbuns, depois de BoA, TVXQ e Big Bang, e tornou-se o terceiro artista coreano a superar a marca de 500.000 vendas, depois de BoA e TVXQ. Girls’ Generation já vendeu quase um milhão de cópias, tornando-o o álbum mais vendido por um artista coreano na história da Oricon, superando em muito, o recorde anterior de TVXQ.

Atualmente, o grupo está com sua segunda turnê asiática em andamento. Elas fizeram os dois primeiros concertos em Seul, nos dias 23 e 24 de julho, seguidos pelas apresentações em Taipé, nos dias 9, 10 e 11 de setembro, e depois em Singapura, no dia 9 de dezembro.

As garotas do Girls’ Generation foram designadas pela SISA Press como “Os Mais Influentes Artistas da Coreia” no ano de 2011, depois de terem ficado na sexta posição na classificação de 2010.

Em 26 de setembro de 2011 o primeiro teaser com Taeyeon foi lançado para o seu comeback com o terceiro álbum coreano, The Boys; os teasers seguiram com Sunny e Hyoyeon em 27 de setembro; Jessica, Sooyoung e Tiffany em 28 de setembro e Yoona, Yuri e Seohyun em 29 de setembro. O primeiro image teaser de “The Boys” foi lançado meia-noite, dia 1 de outubro de 2011, através do canal da SM Entertainment no YouTube.

O Girls’ Generation estava primeiramente programado para lançar o álbum The Boys internacionalmente através do iTunes e através de vários sites musicais na Ásia (incluindo a Coreia) no dia 5 de outubro de 2011. Em 30 de setembro, o lançamento do álbum foi adiado. Em 10 de outubro, foi confirmado que o álbum seria lançado em 19 de outubro de 2011 e a volta aos palcos ocorreria no Music Bank em 21 de outubro de 2011.

Procurando se dar bem no mercado internacional, o Girls’ Generation assinou um contrato com o Universal Music Group, via Interscope Records em 2011.

A faixa-título, “The Boys”, foi lançada em coreano e inglês. Ela foi escrita, composta e arranjada por Teddy Riley, que foi produtor de Michael Jackson.

Poucos minutos após o álbum The Boys ter sido lançado, Girls’ Generation alcançou o topo de várias paradas musicais online com o seu single, fazendo um “all-kill”.

Em 21 de outubro, o Girls’ Generation iniciou sua promoção de “The Boys” no Music Bank da KBS com “The Boys” e “Mr. Taxi” (versão em coreano). Foi confirmado que o grupo lançaria um maxi single (mini álbum) de “The Boys” internacionalmente em 29 de novembro, mas o lançamento foi adiado para 25 de dezembro de 2011.

Após a semana do comeback, elas conquistaram vários primeiros lugares com “The Boys”, como no M! Countdown em 27 de Outubro, no Music Bank da KBS em 28 de Outubro, no Inkigayo da SBS em 30 de Outubro, fazendo um “all-kill” em todos os programas musicais. No dia 11 de novembro foi anunciado que o Girls’ Generation estaria lançando o seu primeiro photobook oficial japonês, intitulado “Holiday”, além da sua primeira turnê japonesa que estaria disponível em blu-ray/DVD, que foi colocado para vendas em 14 de dezembro.

The Boys foi o álbum mais vendido em 2011 na Coréia do Sul, com 385.348 cópias.

TRACK #1: Opposites Attract

She's Elisse. He's McCoy. There's Mc and there's Lisse. The grand album launch gave Mc & Lisse the opportunity to perform as indivuals.

Elisse became Selena Gomez for a few minutes and wowed the crowd with her cover of “Wolves” WHOA. Elisse surely conquered all the wolves, the Elisse we know leveled up and truly got to us through that surprising song and dance number.

McCoy had his time to shine as well. The Heartthrob dancer didn't disappoint us with his own surprise number. My Gaaaahd, McCoy. How can we even listen to Bruno Mars's Versace on the Floor properly now? Hehe. It was a special performance, not because he took off his jacket (Kayo ahhhh) It was extra special because McCoy danced with his equally talented brother on stage once again. What a bonus!

McCoy and Elisse may be similar in some ways, but everyone in this fanmily is also a fan of their differences-- the ones that make them stand out, as two separate individuals and as a pair. Didn't McLisse say before that they're always helping each other out? Their interests may sometimes clash, their forte may not be exactly the same but these differences have propelled us to go farther than what we initially planned. Sometimes, we just really have to let their values and beliefs do their part. Look at where we are now. The opposite sides continue to attract each other and produce wonderful things together. We love them for who they are, for every similarities and differences. No more, no less.

Squeeeeee! Tom & Jerry are so different from each other, they fight a lot but at the end of the day, we all know they still can't live without each other.

Wow. Chinito was just a song they used for their SwerTeen Ball performance last year but now the song has been included in their album tracklist. It even got a fresh spin and yessss, it sounds really nice!!

We know McCoy is full of surprises. Surprises that don't just come from nowhere. Well, to be fair we were already expecting a surprise but we still didn't know how to react when he pulled the necklace out. It is a piece of jewelry, an accessory, a gift that a boy usually gives to a girl but the necklace he gave her holds more meaning that any other fancy-pa-cute-lang-necklace out there. It's really touching that they allow God to guide them in their relationship. Prayers can really move mountains! There goes McLisse climbing and moving mountains together with God by their side.

We couldn't explain it, but when it comes to McLisse, sincerity just overflows. They are not that kind of pair who does things because they are forced to. Alam niyo na. Just because you could, doesn't mean you should. One word, respect. Everything goes well with a perfect timing. We must be mindful that certain situations also call for appropriate actions and reactions. No one wants things to look so pilit or pang-promo lang, right? Another achievement was unlocked. McCoy and Elisse were just joking on the possibility of having an album before but now we're already holding their ALBUM in our hands. We didn't give up because they didn't. They grew stronger that's why we're now stronger more than ever.

People will have different opinions on this project but do they really have to matter now? No, right? If we'll translate “Para Lang Sayo” to English, it'll be “Just for you” or “Only for you.” Who are we all cheering for? Who do we have to put our focus on? Who are we supporting anyway? It's McLisse. Just McLisse. Only McLisse. BOTH of them. So, there's no need to divert our attention to nega people who don't appreciate music the way we do. Just continue to appreciate the music that jives with respect and positivity. Plug your earphones and ignore the noise.

Para sa McLisse, we can do anything. Nothing's impossible if we will all help one another. Speaking of which, everyone in this fanmily is so grateful beyond words for all the support coming from the Globies/Team Abroad, Team Bahay, Team Online and even the silent fans.

It was so heartwarming to hear stories of old and new fans on how they came to like McLisse. People who were on the line happily talked about them, mentioning their PBB stint up to their latest teleserye, The Good Son. (Yasss. I’ve heard them. Hihihi) It was nakakakilig to see people of all ages smiling because of McLisse. The people who lined up also came from different demographics. Girl, boy, lgbt, kids, teens, young adults, parents and grandparents. Imagine, sitting in a venue where there's a grandmother in front of your seat, a two-year old baby at your back, a teenage boy on your right and a father on your left. McCoy said it was just a “Get together” or a gathering of all the fans. He got it right for the album launch also became a family gathering and a barkada bonding of some sort.

TRACK #4: Yakap

“Dahil kung ikaw ang yakap ko, parang yakap ko ang langit. At yakap pati ang 'yong ngiti...”

Yakap. A word that is very significant to McLisse fanmily. Would you believe us when we say McLisse gives the best-est hugs ever? You may ask us, “But were they able to hug you one by one?” Well, some of us had already got the chance to hug them in rare occasions but McLisse gives that one-of-the-kind hug in a place where we're not physically present. McCoy and Elisse give the best virtual hugs that a loveteam could ever give. They comfort us. They're always warm toward us. They accept us with arms wide open.

McCoy may sing “Yakap” and you know we'll just have one person in mind (ehem, Elisse... ehem!) but everytime we hear the word “Yakap” we just automatically smile because of one thing. McLisse fanmily is wrapped up together in a very tight embrace. Some have left the circle, some just came in and joined without thinking twice, some have loosen their grip but some have doubled the effort to make the grip of everyone else tighter than before and they are the ones who don't easily give up and step away from the circle-- the hardworking admins of different McLisse fanclubs, you guys deserve tight hugs!!!

Their families were also there to support them. They have truly made their parents proud. Our parents are our very first cheerleaders, our source of strength and our greatest love. We, as son and daughters should work harder and let them sit in the front row as we show them how amazing we've become. They are the ones who deserve a standing ovation for all the love they've showered us before we even held our own microphones and opened our mouths to speak or to sing. McCoy & Elisse made them the proudest of all the people present in SM Skydome. They love their parents so much and it inspires us, their fans to be more loving to our family and to value the time we spend with them. Role models, indeed.

Awww. McCoy and Elisse have found new friends inside Kuya's house. These unbelievably supportive friends deserve a hug too! MayMay, Edward and Jinri (and of course, all their other celebrity friends who aren't in this photo) McLisse fanmily are so grateful to you for making yourself available to show your support to McCoy and Elisse. We, as fans love seeing them surrounded by genuine people who truly know them well since the beginning of their journey as partners.

The album is “very McLisse.” It has feel good tracks that can make you smile. The new arrangements sound lighter than the original but you can definitely tell they were arranged that way to give off that easy-listening vibe. The album is a perfect jam and cure for troubled hearts or anyone who just wants to take a break from a very tiring day. It's the kind of album that you can give to your friend (who's also a yengster or for someone who has a soft spot for sessionistas and their hits!) you can also give it to your significant other (yihee!! exchange gift na with crushie or honey!) and even to your parents (let them reminisce their younger and carefree days, ligawan stage and other kilig days of the past!)

right so like last week we had a few slices of raisin bread from T&T ( our local Asian food supplier in the form of a supermarket eyyy ) and I was like,,, wow ??? dude how great would raisin bread french toast be like wOW !!? I’ve never made french toast before and tbh we’re like rice everyday ™ and honestly the inside of our fridge has never seen cheese or cream or pasta ( ok look I know uncooked pasta doesn’t go in the fridge but I was making a point ) and certain other western-type foods are rare guests ( a tragedy rly because I love that stuff ) bUT ANYWAY !! I was thinking about french toast and going,,, woah,,, woah woAH ??? we might actually have all the ingredients ?? we always have eggs, and… oh, half and half…? aw… we don’t have that— oH but you can make it with milk and butter ??? gasp i actually think we have like 1 stick of frozen butter from waaaay back and I’m sure it’s saved there omg this’ll work. we don’t have nutmeg but… I distinctly remember getting vanilla extract and my mom says we have cinnamon ?? I didn’t even know we had cinnamon !! wow this is going to work imma make it for breakfast tomorrow it will be great !! so cue tomorrow, I wake up earlier to get it ready ( lmao since usually I wake up like 5 mins before transit comes and toss stuff into my backpack and leave ) and,,, and it turns out we I overestimated what we had in our fridge aHAHA,,, what I thought was a stick of butter was actually yeast and there was ?? no sugar ?? I could not find sugar,,, we didn’t have milk either and I was v disappointed in myself bUT !! I still made it using soy milk and brown sugar ( it was super hard I was chiseling it with a spoon ) but luckily I did manage to dig out the vanilla extract + the cinnamon was def there, as were the eggs and salt was around. of course, had to use vegetable oil instead of butter to grease the pan as I’d planned but !! it totally turns out great and was a p good success considering a first attempt hahaha,,, topped it with bananas, crumbled walnut and maple syrup and it was great :^))))))

ummmmmmmmmmmm wow those turned out long hAHAHA,, uh no other interesting stories are coming to mind right away but like ?? I guess one time when I was a kid we were in Toronto I think and I,,, rushed some pigeons ( like when u try to make people flinch right ?? yeah ) some pigeons that were in a courtyard and like,,, ok so there was a lady eating subway and she was a respectable business lady or smth bUT SO THE FLOCK OF PIGEONS ALL TOOK OFF AND SHE ( understandably ) SPOOKED AND DROPPED HER SUBWAY AND WALKED QUICKLY AWAY AND WOW I FELT SO BAD AAHHAAHAAAaaa,,, either way the pigeons descended on the subway and it was never seen again,,, I still feel rlllyyy bad abt it I’m so sorry for like ruining that woman’s day sobbbbb

Hi, my name is Trina, 17 year old girl who chose to left home at a young age. Yes I do have a boyfriend, but that's not just the reason behind. There's a lot more. I do not intend to left home just because my father scolded me about knowing my secret relationship with someone. It's far more than that. And now is the time for me to speak for myself. I lived with my grandma for a long time since I was a baby, she was the one who raised me with so much love, care, affection and a lot more learning in life and about God. I am raised in a family who had a very strong faith. But despite growing up with all of those I grew up being a hard headed girl, not too much but a mild one. What I mean is, I do what I want to do, I tried whats in trend for the kids, for teens. It all started when I reached Grade 5, that's the start where I am courted by boys, but it never came up like a very much problem that time cause my grandma tries to talk to me in a way that I will surely understand what she preach. She will listen to whatever I have to say then after that she will take action to it. Then came my high school days, when I was in first year I am drawn to KPOP, everyone knows I love to dance, again... it all started when I entered a Cover Group, a dance group as you called. Every Saturday or Sunday I will ask for permission to practice at Anda, Intramuros. From Morning till Night because it's just a one day practice every week and yet theres a competition per month at that time so we have to struggle for time management, I am so late in coming back home, I even broke my curfew because of dancing. What hurts the most is, everyone thinks that I am taking drugs, or I am at a gimik, or I am with a boyfriend. To end that up, I let them know who am I with. Yes, it was all stress and I couldn't blame my grandma for that. I love her, but I love my hobby too. But I am studying hard, in fact I'm at cream of the crop section, the section 1. There's nothing to worry about my studies, I never let my Grandma down about it. Time goes by, I am in 3rd year. As far as I remember it was half way that year, my parents came back here in Philippines from Dubai. The same reason, my grandma can't take good care of us because she's stressed and she's getting old. At first, my mom seems to treat us good and with care. I love that feeling, she even takes good care of me when I caught a high fever. But a little time goes by, she became rough. One thing I can't forget that happened was when she slapped me in the middle of a whole court in our school with a lot of classes going on. Everyone was shooked, even I can't do anything but to cry. The reason? I pleaded for her to bring my project that I left in our home. That day was deadline, I was too busy, I have lots of report and projects going on that's why I left that one accidentally. She replied to me "Iresponsable ka kasi." And then she came raging, slapped me infront of my classmates and everyone else. Gladly my sister came with her, she was dragged by my sister to prevent any other misbehavior to happen. It's not that much, but my confidence broke down, ofcourse. After that incident, my classmates repeatedly asks me whats with my mom, whats the problem, and I couldn't tell them. I have a reputation inside the school to keep and it went like that. Patuloy lang yung mga ganitong bagay. Inside our house there is 4 of us. My mom, dad, my sister and me. I am treated as a blacksheep of the family. Right from the start I heard my mom blame me saying, "Di naman kami uuwi dito kung hindi dahil sayo eh. Matigas kasi ulo mo. Ang ganda ganda ng buhay namin sa Dubai, di kagaya dito mahirap kumita ng pera!" I just shrugged and still do my thing. To enjoy, study, and be with people who knows my true personality. When I'm outside, I am joyful yet reserved one. Many people get intimidated to me, and see me like a very good child. Like I don't do anything bad. While inside the house, they think like I am a very bad person. My mom and dad always says, "Wala ka na ngang kwenta, masama pa ugali mo." They're so mad at me for some reason. I graduated 4th year, with honor. Because no matter how bad I look to them, I never forget to study hard. I wanted to make them proud atleast in academics. But I think it's not that much appreciated. I won't be in the honor list if I don't strive for it, isn't it? Yet I never heard them say that they're proud of me. Instead they always threaten me that when I got a bad grade they'll stop me from studying, mag asawa na lang daw ako. Hahaha. I am so pressured. I don't want ro stop. Literally saying, I enjoyed my teen year, but what I am proud of is that I never tried doing drugs, smoking, and bad things such as those. But they always insisted that I do, they even want to get me checked in the hospital. I feel so bad. I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR MYSELF! I am always blamed for something I hated to do. I entered college, a new start for me. My sister planned to help me get into a good and private school, she promised me but I know that it's impossible, but it's okay. Since my parents always had a problem about money, I decided to take an entrance exam test in a state university in able to prevent them from spending money. Kasi in the first place, ako nga daw ang dahilan kung bakit nandito sila sa pilipinas at naghihirap. I studied at Sta. Mesa Manila. By the way, I changed for good, my close relatives like my tita and grandma saw that change from me. Inside the house, I do choirs, I mop the floor, I change bed sheets, I wash dishes from morning till night, I do things man can do, I operate all high tech devices, I do the laundry, I do the shelves, I clean the house, I clean the ref, I fold the clothes, and everything else. I do what ever thing that I can to please them, but I guess that wasn't enough. I'm still the "walang kwentang anak." And aside from that, I studied in a University where there is too much pressure going on. It's not just a school, it's a home for students who can handle a lot of pain in the brain. But my parents thinks that I am in a gimik, that I don't go to school, that I don't study. Everytime I came home from school, my mom would say, "San ka nanaman galing? Lumandi ka nanaman jan sa labas. Maghugas ka na jan, para naman may pakinabang ka." There's just too much going on. I never came home peaceful. I am stressed inside cause I feel like there's no one inside our home that I can talk to after a tiring day. The place where I expected that I can be open and appreciated. I experienced going in school without eating breakfast because there is nothing prepared in the dining. I go to school with a 150 in hand. Including my fare back and forth and the rest for my food. Until every week, that 150 is deducted to 130, 120. How can I survive with that? They don't gave me extra. I always have to ask for it. Before going to school, I asked for my grandma or Tita, or Ate if I can borrow any amount of money to lend me, pandagdag lang sa baon ko. In school, I was always alone. My classmates often see me spacing out. I eat alone, I sit alone, I wait alone, I am always with myself. But my parents think that I have a lot of friends. Akala nila may "barkada" ako, kasi mukha nga namang may barkada ako sa schhol. Yes, I do have few friends. My classmates can prove that. They never really tried to know who I am. They never talked to me without judging a little thing about my shortcomings. Instead they judge me for what I showed them. I admit I never go home straight from school, instead I make myself occupied and happy because I wanted to spend my day without a problem, I play in SM alone, dance, eat when I have spare money, I do what makes me happy, because I know that at the end of the day, I'll come back home with the same problem, the place where I feel so toxic. I am suppressed. I never feel appreciated at home. Just because I show them a side where I'm strong doesn't mean they need to use my potential that much. Aside from that, I have diseases, my spinal column suffers from a dextroscoliosis, I told my parents about it, but they just keep telling me that, "Ipapa check-up ka na lang pag may pera na." Don't shrugged me off, it's not a little defect. Years go by but still nothing happened. But when it's them that's sick, money was all over the place, they can even find ways to borrow money. They were supposed to be the people who'll help me grow, but they don't. They'll supposed to be the people who can understand me. I don't exactly know what to feel anymore. Feeling ko umaagos na lang yung buhay ko sa ganon lang. I do sometimes think that I have mental issues, or emotional problem because of keeping this all inside. I never ever had a chance to speak without being scolded, without hearing unpleasant words. I never ever had a chance to speak where I'm right. They always made me feel I'm wrong. I'm wrong in everything I do. People, I love my parents. We have different ways to show our love. I showed them that but they can't see it because they're blinded by the things I did before that caused them to be where they are now. Before I left, I send a message to my sister about taking care of them including my little sister. I told her not to leave their side no matter what happens because she's the responsible one in their eyes. I told my sister to bear whatever my parents are doing, because out of all people, my sister is the one who can justify what I am saying right now, she's the only one I can lean on when I am done of myself that time. She's the only one who believes in me and of what I am capable of. Sabi nga niya, "Ikaw pa yung mas panganay satin gumalaw." ( I miss you so much Ate. ) Whenever I am near to breaking down, I always seek for my sister's company to tell her how miserable I feel. I told my Ate that maybe, I wasn't the daughter our parents could be proud of.Thats when I left bringing my uncomplete self but bolder, searching for people who can complete me atleast because that's what I never felt. Hinahanap ko yung sarili ko, kung san ba ko talaga dapat lumugar. I wouldn't be this tough if only I did feel that love from my parents. I don't have the family you think I have. Yes people, I may look good, but you don't know how many things are going on in me. At some point in my life, I'm suicidal, I wrote my stuff in Tumblr. I even do wrote a suicidal letter. Hahaha. Reach out for your child, before it's too late. You may not admit that you're doing the same thing but you'll never know until you ask. Ask them what they feel about you, ask them if there is something you need to improve or change. It's not always your child that needs to fit in. In all forms of relationship, balance is the key. You're not just designed to feed us to grow physically, you need to feed us to grow our individuality, to nurture it. Dictation leads to incontentment, so let them decide for themselves, when they seem to choose the wrong path thats when you need to preach. "Papunta palang kayo, pabalik na kami." Yes that's true but we are in a way different path, once we're born our stories are already written in our hands, you all need to accept that. We are who you showed us to be. Parents will be parents. I didn't ask for you all to believe what I said, but I'm leaving this here. It's your choice to believe or not, whatever you have to say, you're all free to say it. But always think before you speak. I don't intend to trigger you all but this is what it is. I don't want me nor my parents to be bashed, I dont want our personal life to be at stake just like this but I don't have any choice but to speak myself up. This is the only form I can, and the only way I see. I've tried confront and personal talks but it leads to misunderstanding so I leave it all here never to be done again. Note: Please read this! I really don’t like such dramas or making long messages but for now let me do one  Hi girl, do you still remember me? Hey, I still exist.  2o16 was probably our best and worst year as besties. I don’t know what happened but boom   HAHAHUHU!  Dear Dyna, In every start of the year we don’t just celebrate the New Year, but also your birthday hahaha  HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRIEND!! Naaalala ko pa nanlibre ka somewhere sa Antipolo. Overlooking with baby dave and sha. Yung katabi pa nating cottage may naglalampungan haha  tapos we waited for about 30 minutes for the food pero kinain lang natin ng sobrang bilis hahaha epal kasi ni sha! Ang saya non hahaha!!! Naaalala ko din yung Bosay moments with Vincent, Robin and dun sa mataba, forgot the name!! Ang saya nun bes, tapos nandun din yung BB TEAM ng Siena panahong umaaligid pa si Cedrick sayo hahaha!! Tipsy ka pa that night kung ano ano sinasabi mo hahaha  Nairita pa ko sayo nun kasi tawag ng tawag si mother earth tapos si ken. Tanginerz nakakairita yun diba tapos makikita lang kita nagsiswimming na parang walang pake HAHAHA!!   Pero thankful pa din ako kasi nakapagusap kami ni cedrick that time hahaha!!!!  Meron ding issue nung kay JV na aish may hidden desire din sayo!! Tapos dun nangyari first ever tampuhan natin dahil kay Madam Lola na pinapalayo ako sayo as if ako yung masama HAHAHA!!  Nakakatakot nun si lola hays   Onting drama frenny na ulit tayo hahaha! Naalala ko din yung reunion ng 6-1 na lima lang tayong umattend tas nauwi sa swimming sa pool nyo HAHAHA  andami nating nalamang kemerut sa mga boyz haha nabutas pa yung pool HAHAHA! Naaalala ko din yung pagsundo kay Ken haha nagpractice pa tayo kung panong reaksyon gagawin pagkita eh diba parang wala ka ng feelings sa kanya, nakilala pa natin yung pinsan nya HAHAHA Di man lang tayo pinakain!!  Naaalala ko din yung sa beatsroke na sobrang andaming nangyari!!Umaga pa lang tangine magsisine dapat tayo pero dahil kay Ken di natuloy tapos yung kukunin na natin ticket naten deputa pinaglaruan pa tayo, nakasalubong naten aba di namansin may kasama pang kabit!! Ginawa tayong aso ni gago haha buti na lang talaga dumating si iyah hahaha ayun nagkaticket tayo plus di na tayo pumila hahaha! That night was a blast! Dami nating awra bes! Sobrang saya nun, natatandaan mo pa ba bes? Una si Kersley, Sunod si Stephen hahaha tapos si Manu nandun din na sinundan pa natin magkausap lang kayo!! Andun din sila Wendell tsaka si Miguel! Andaming funneeh ‘moments tapos paguwi natin ng ala una aba di pa din tayo natulog nangtrip pa tayo may pascripted pa tayong ginawa kay Kersley tangina tapos chat naman si tephen tapos chat naman si Dave HAHAHA sobrang laftrip dami nating boys that time!! Tapos after mong itgil lahat kay Ken aba’y mas naging close kayo ni Manu HAHAHA! Yung mga long messages nya na talagang mahuhulog ka! Nahulog ka naman talaga!!! It just feels so great to remember happy moments!! So dito naman tayo sa mga namimiss ko!! Namimss ko na dai yung sleepover ko sa inyo hays yung tipong mapapatanong ka “san talaga bahay ko?” HAHAHA  Namimiss ko na si Tita, yung mga sermon at pangaral nya!! Namimiss ko na yung chismisan naten hanggang 3 am tapos magtutulugtulugan pag sisilipin tayo nila tita!! Parang di tayo nauubusan ng kwento sa buhay.  Namimiss ko na yung libot libot tapos mangtitrip ng mga bata o kaya matanda sa daan!!  Namimiss ko na yung “bes mang inasal tayo” HAHAHA pati “tara bes Jollibee ang sarap ng chicken nila” Namimiss ko na yung swimming keme natin in ur pool, magiigib pa para makaligo hahaha! Namimiss ko na yung “bes pakilay naman pls!!” “bes ano to,para san to? Peram naman” “ganda ng lipstick bes peram” “bes daster pls” “bes tablet paonline” “bes parang ang sarap ng saging penge ah” “bes jogging tayo HAHAHA bawal malate ha!” kasama pa si Tita!  “bes tara bike hahaha” pagtitripan pa si lolo tas lilibot around Taytay!! Sayo ko din nalaman yung shembot deputa haha di naman kasi ako naglalasing. Yung mga chats natin na puno ng screenshots HAHAHA “bes sc mo nga” Yung mga lalaking pinaguusapan natin HAHAHA! Andami kong namimiss dai kasi naman eh!! Sana naman magawa ulit natin ang mga bagay bagay na iyan. Andami din nating plans hehe isa dun yung kakainan natin lahat ng food stall sa Sm!  Happy Birthday Dyna!! Enjoy your last year being a young teen because next year, u will turn into young adult. Ilibre mo naman ako HAHAHA!! Time’s too fast! There are a lot of things happened last 2016 and maybe we we’re just too busy in our own gorgeous lives. You’re still my very girl bestie in the world, it will not change  wish u the very best in life. I know you’re intelligent enough to decide for yourself eventhough you’re immature sometimes.
