Title: At the drive-in theater
At 10pm, Spot 🐶🏎️ and Vanilla 🐰🎀 are drive away to the drive-in theater. Although I've never go to the drive-in theater cause in my country (Philippines) there's no drive-in theater from now... 😅
NOTE: That is, until August of 2020 when SM opens their own SM Cinema's Drive In at the mall's Amphitheater, SM City Pampanga. 🎦🎫🚘
Nonetheless, they just sit at the car and watch the big screen, (I don't know what they watching but think of it that they watching a drama movie...[another NOTE: sorry I'm not interested at drama movie... 😒]). I can't tell, though because they're in the middle of watching movie drive-in.
Vanilla's closing her eyes and she puts her head on Spot's shoulder while he's watching.

Café B.O.M located at Clark, near CDC Parade Grounds. The cafe itself is accessible for people residing inside Clark, while for those who are not, they shoudl familiarize themselves with the vicinity. The coffee is good, the price ranges from 115 to 205 PHP. The place if comfortable, if you choose the Al fresco, the environment is quite loud at night, due to music from the cafe and it's neighboring shop.
4. Bloom & Brew Cafe

5. Retro 252
Retro 252 is located at 2009 Pampanga, Angeles, PH Bldg Lot 13-15-17-19, Block 5. This coffee shop is my favorite place to hang and do my works. I really like this place because it has a good ambiance and not too crowded as well. The coffee and pastries that they had were so delicious. This place is very different and well organized according to other places. The food is amazing, music of your choice. The owner is very sweet. Ever the best café. The cost is fair for everything and the atmosphere is good. If you’re looking for a place where to relax and read some novels or whatever, this coffee shop would be the best. They have the best coffee available and even some fresh baked goods as well. The ambiance of this shop was so relaxing, and the staffs are highly capable. I could not ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. Well done, guys! Keep making great coffee and pastries!

Gusto ko lang munang sabihin, sana masamid at bilaukan ang mga scalpers in the guise of ticket assistance.
HAHAHA.
Gets ko yung iba legitimate na out of kindness kaya to ginagawa pero kasi tangina naman bakit kailangan i hoard yung tickets. Nawawalan ng chance na makabili yung ibang passionate at dedicated stans from the start. Sabi ko ihold niya muna yung both dahil magririsk na kong pumila for the first time in my life. At the same time secured na ko somehow with the gen ad. Still I wanted something else talaga.
I feel like as a first time semi camper along with the pandemic effects, hindi malala yung experience ko compared noong pre-pandemic concerts.
I feel bad for that person, pero todo dasal akong wag maubos yung desired seating view ko.
HAHAHA.
Definitely one for the books itong first ever experience ko sa panonood ng concert and definitely won’t be the last time. Here’s to newer experiences in life talaga!

#OneNETnewsEXCLUSIVE: Philippine Apple-partner store 'Power Mac Center' opens at Marina Town in Dumaguete
(Written by Rhayniel Saldasal Calimpong / Freelance News Writer, Online Media Reporter and News Presenter of OneNETnews)
DUMAGUETE, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- The long wait is officially over as the country's premier partner from the American tech giant 'Apple' recently opened the first-ever full Power Mac Center (PMC) store, during newly-opened Filinvest Malls at the Level 1 of Marina Town along Escaño Beach, here in 'Eduardo J. Blanco Street' corner 'Flores Avenue, Brgy. Piapi, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental'.
OneNETnews is the first in its reporting of our exclusive scoop that the new store offers customers easy access to a wide range of Apple devices, accessories and other premium products, and on hand in-store to the public, here in the City of Gentle People on Thursday morning (September 26th, 2024 at 11:25am -- Dumaguete local time).
PMC Director for Marketing and Product Management named Mr. Joey Alvarez say that the new branch of 'Power Mac Store' caters all the Negrosanon people that suits your needs whether if you're a high school or college student like Piapi High School (PHS) and Silliman University (SU), office work individual, online freelancers, or getting it rewarded on your payday. Local enthusiasts are exciting to purchase Apple models and products combined: "Marina Town is uniquely nestled along Dumaguete Bay (Escaño Beach). As the development is redefining the landscape of the city, our store empowers people to personally get acquainted with the latest devices so they can maximize technology and be part of shaping the future of their progressive city", Alvarez noted.
Customers in Dumaguete City are invited to join the celebration by visiting the newly-opened 'PMC Marina Town' to enjoy special opening deals including several promotional sales and discounts covering 13-inch MacBook Air M1, iPad's 9th Generation, AirPods and Apple Pencil's 2nd Generation, 20 watt USB-C type Power Adapter; and a trade-in value when you trade in your current device like Huawei, Vivo and Oppo android phone models.
Online and offline payments can be done in-store, such as fintech e-wallets of GCash and Maya, QR Payments by QRPH, Debit and Credit Cards from physical and digital banks like Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) and Tonik Digital Bank (TDB), straight cash in Philippine Pesos for rich-income individuals (due to price stock exchange imports from America), regular bank cheques, gift cheques and installment plans like GCredit, GLoan, Maya Easy Credit, Home Credit, SPayLater, SLoan & Tonik Loan for low to no income earners with legally required documents & government valid IDs, per the examples of PhilSys from Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and Driver's License from Land Transportation Office (LTO). All these exclusive deals are only valid for a limited time from Thursday thru Sunday only, between September 26th to 29th.
Established in the late-August 1994, 'Power Mac Center' is a premier Apple premium reseller in the country. The first flagship branch in the mid-90s is located at the ShoeMart Megamall (SM) in 'Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, National Capital Region'. It has grown significantly over the years, now boasting 143 retail branches, service centers and training centers nationwide. As an Apple authorized service provider and Apple premium reseller, PMC offers as mentioned above, with a wide range of Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple TV+ streaming box and accessories. Power banks and headphones are also a plus. They also provide top-notch repair and maintenance services through their Apple-certified technicians.
Apart from newly-opened store in the early weekend, PMC celebrates its 30th Anniversary last month for this year. They are expanded its footprint beyond Metro Manila to regions like Pampanga, Naga, Bohol, Iloilo, Cebu, Isabela, Bukidnon, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, and now… Dumaguete! A new campaign event 'Road to 30' with a series of activities and surprises awaits for loyal PMC customers with 'Techpreneur Festival' and 'Creativity Camp' workshops.
To mark its 30th anniversary, PMC launched the "Miles and Milestones: The 30th Anniversary Raffle", offering prizes like a BYD (Build Your Dreams) ATTO 3 electric vehicle, Philippine Airlines' Mabuhay Miles (PAMM) business class trips for 2 to San Francisco, United States of America (U.S.A.); PAMM business class trips for 2 to Osaka, Japan; Apple devices & accessories, 2 winners of PHP150,000 PMC gift certificates (or approximately U$D2,700), and 2 consolation GCs ranging from PHP3,000 to PHP30,000. The 30th anniversary promo of PMC runs from May 31st to December 31st, 2024, as approved by the Department of Trade and Industry - Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau (DTI-FTEB).
Recently, Apple launched the iPhone 16 phone model series in America, a week ahead of mall opening here in our city at Marina Town on Friday (September 20th), which are yet to reach the world markets for PMC. Meanwhile, they are now selling iPhone 15s launched last year in late mid-September 2023, and other Apple-related products at the time of our writing.
Today, our news team of OneNETnews learned exclusively that the 'Power Mac Center' has been consistently bringing American tech giant 'Apple' closer to Filipinos anywhere in the country, including right here in Negros Oriental alone, without needing it to buy originally from the source in the Californian state.
PMC Marina Town opens daily from Mondays thru Sundays - 10am to 9pm, while other stores in Negros Island Region (NIR) include 'The Loop' branches at Ayala Malls Capitol Central in South Capital Road, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental; and Robinson's Place in Brgy. Calindagan, this said city and province.
'Power Mac Center' has become a trusted name in the country, known for delivering the complete Apple experience to its customers. It is the best bet to shop responsibly when you own one.
A big special thanks to Power Mac Center in Dumaguete City for witnessing history first in internet TV broadcasting for making this local tech store opening event possible.
This news report is brought to you by Apple: the official premier partner of PMC, and DTX Coffee Mix - Nagakape ka na, naka-detox ka pa!

TRAVELOGUE : THE PLACE WHERE LAND AND SEA MEETS
Bagac,Bataan the place where land and sea meets it is a place for us to release pressure and leisure. Not only it is famous for their beach resorts but they are also packed with a bunch of heartwarming culture and a series of unique sceneries. Come join me as we travel my hometown at Bagac Bataan.
It was my Birthday January 1, 2022 mom decided that we should go on a family trip to celebrate my birthday. However, what makes this birthday celebration unforgettable is because we are a complete family. Considering this day like an award ceremony with a bunch of people claiming gold medals and a big trophy. We decided to leave Imus, Cavite at 3:00 A.M since travelling in the morning especially in Manila would probably end for us to be stranded in traffic. Cause that would be very terrific if we would not be able to arrive on time. Our first stop is in a SM Hypermarket in Manila where we picked some ingredients for their Grilled Bangus and other foods like Carbonara, Fried Chicken and many more. After we bought a lot of ingredients at the Hypermarket we decided to make a drive thru at McDonalds and I was really Happy because If I let myself get hungry amidst the long travel it could make my stomach angry. I got a Cheeseburger like it was calling my name to eat it and I devoured it over along with fries who were crying because they are getting cold because I ate the Burger first rather than eating them first. At some point at 5:00 AM we had a stopover at a gasoline station were we filled our tank well it's because the car is thirsty and he wants to drink of Unleaded Gasoline. After that we are driving as fast as flash in the Northern Luzon expressway or what do we call NLEX and my friend who is a gay and he said that "Ebarg naman kabilis itey na car di ko na keribells bhieee nahihilo na em" and we all Just laughed because he's not used to this kind of travelling since it's his first time traveling from Imus, Cavite to Bagac,Bataan.
All people in the van fell asleep including me and all I can hear is that the van going 'vroom' and I felt the car traveling the never-ending expressway. At 7:30 A.M I got awake and I see that we are at Pampanga, the home of Delicious Processed foods and delectable delicacies like The San-Nicolas Cookies which my mom bought from a local vendor for only PHP 50.00 per pack and it was really sweet and tangy because it is a shortbread made from butter and coconut milk. 8:50 A.M when we came across a Signage and there was a written text scribbled in it and it was "Welcome to Bataan" all people in the van Exclaimed their excitement and can't contain themsleves as if they wanted to go out of the van, but of course we are not yet in our destination.
As we drove to our destination driving, to Bagac Bataan was not an easy feat because there so many mountainous roads like it's a very steep and high and low slopes as well. Driving towards to our destination should be careful yet cautious because it's very slippery since it rained there when we arrived at Pilar, Bataan as we travel across the Pilar, Bataan we saw a mountain with a huge Cross on its as big as the Christ the Redeemer in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil which caught everyone's attention. A few hours passes by and everyone was so mesmerized with the breathtaking scenery like forests, the mountains, every people were having this kind of mindset, like they been in another country because they never been into something like this before since they are so used with busy highways and streets unlike in Bagac were streets and Roads were filled with whistles of wind and trees that greets them whenever our van passes through each one of them.
After 5 hours of travelling from Pampanga to Bagac,Bataan there we came across the tower that secures the bonds of Japanese and Philippines it is called the "Friendship Tower". After taking pictures in the Friendship Tower we are able to Arrive safely to the Hotel Resort that my parents made a reservation in. It is the Villa Dolores Beach And Hotel Resort and it has a lot of amenities that screams "Welcome to Villa Dolores we'll make sure your stay relaxing and memorable"
It has White Sand Beach that tickles my feet and the clear pristine water that is clearer than any eyeglasses that a blind person wears. After removing our things in the Van we are preparing for our lunch since everyone is hungry like they will eat a whole cow. Everyone was enjoying that day until midnight, it was really fun that everyone was playing games, singing karaoke and some are dancing as if this will be the last.
Well there is only one thing that I could say in this whole Family Trip "THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME" Home or what do we call Family. Family is the really place that we can rest our tired heads and escape from reality. For a while it's not bad to escape, just remember Lovelife, work, career, money all of them will soon fade away but family they don't they will be always there whatever path you choose they'll always support you and take care of us like delicate flower like Lily.

With Tikoy Aguiluz (1947-2024) at the Art Circle Café in UP Diliman (13 June 2022). I met Tikoy through Humanities Professor Virginia R. Moreno, who founded the UP Film Center in 1976. But it was during the time he organized the annual Cinemanila Film Festival (1999-2013) that we became close. It was then that I learned we both trace our roots in Lubao, Pampanga and that his father and my paternal grandfather were good friends since the 1920s.
Over the years, Tikoy asked me to judge Cinemanila's screenwriting contests, help promote festival screenings, and suggest locations for his art exhibits, film shoots, and other projects. On his last visit, he sought my advice for his relatives who were planning to apply for admission to UP. He wanted tips so they may follow in the footsteps of his daughter Anima, a UP (psychology) and Columbia (journalism) alumna, to help them better prepare for the examinations. I recommended a review school but emphasized the importance of considering first the innate strengths of his nephews and nieces.
Tikoy expressed his excitement for his second solo exhibit at SM Aura on 21-31 June 2022, showcasing his oils and acrylics. He asked me to recommend a young artist from the UP College of Music to perform during the opening. I suggested Elkan Afonso R. Reyes, a UP guitar major whose performance Tikoy greatly appreciated.
We had been trying to meet for the past few months, but circumstances always seemed to get in the way - whether it was his health or traffic delays. During our last conversation, Tikoy asked me about my favorite films among his works. I mentioned "Segurista" (“Dead Sure,” 1996) as my top pick for its exceptional direction, writing (by Jose F. Lacaba), and acting, particularly praising Michelle Aldana, my former student at UP. I also expressed my admiration for "Boatman" (1984) and "Bagong Bayani" (“Unsung Heroine,” 1995), noting the depth and emotional impact of these films.
While Tikoy is renowned for his achievements as a film director, film festival organizer, and visual artist, many may not know that he was also well-read, having studied Comparative Literature at UP. He deeply appreciated Western and Philippine literature, often citing his mentors, such as Virginia R. Moreno, Francisco Arcellana, and Leopoldo Yabes.
I will truly miss Tikoy Aguiluz for his genuine kindness and the rich legacy he leaves behind in film and art.
