The picture on your desk seemed to stare at you. You stared back at it, of course.

It was a picture of your family. You, your mom, your brother, and, of course, your dad. Your mom and brother's faces seemed to be faded, even though you hadn't touched the picture in forever.

You couldn't stop thinking about them, about how they were doing, about what they were doing. You could've thought about them forever.. had someone not knocked on your door.

"—Come in!" You stuttered, regaining your focus. The door creaked open to reveal your dad. He was holding plastic bags, a robe, and matches.

"Ah, hello, father." You greeted, spinning your chair around to face him properly. You never called him anything else but 'father'. 'Dad' seemed too informal.

He greeted you back, made his way over to you, and handed you your robe. Fresh from the dryer. "Would you like to go out and help me get rid of some evidence?" He inquired as he leaned in and smiled.

Your face lit up a bit when he said the word 'help'. Getting to spend time with your father was something you'd never pass up.

"Ignacio usually does the evidence-destroying, but he set himself on fire last time, and he's still recovering."

You nodded to signal you understood. You got up from your seat to put your robe on.

"Ready to go?" Father put his hood on.

"Of course." You mimicked him and put yours on as well.

You both peered into the window of the police station. Those meddlesome cops were apparently off to the mayor's office for some meeting. Which was the perfect time to destroy their hard work.

Your dad snuck in through the window and helped you inside. You made sure to cover all the cameras, just to be thorough. From there, you found the desk full of evidence and clues about your little.. organization. It had been restarted here since the previous evidence was at the smoker cop's house.

"Seems as though they've stepped up their game." Your father admitted as he couldn't help but admire their work. You admired with him and had to agree it was impressive. They were efficient.

But not as efficient as the both of you.

As fast as you arrived, you began to pick apart their findings, talking with one another to decide which ones to burn.

In the end, you decided that you'd toy with them a bit and leave them only unimportant bits of what they had.

You shoved all the evidence that was to burn in your plastic baggies and made your great escape through the same window.

This time, instead of burning the evidence where it was, you burned it in front of the mansion. That way, you could make sure it didn't get out of hand like it did last time.

As you drizzled the gasoline onto the pictures and notes, you looked to your dad. "Father?" You began, putting the bottle down and reaching for the matches. "This was fun. I enjoy doing things like this with you."

Your father handed you the matches but didn't look at you. He just smiled. "And I too, (Y/N). You've grown quite a bit since you've joined our cult. So strong-willed and yet so young."

You lit the matches and tossed them onto the police work. "I'm proud of you." He said to you, placing a hand on your shoulder and pulling you in. You smiled a smile as big as your pinkie. That.. meant a lot to you. "Thank you, father."

You leaned into his small embrace, watching the fire burn. The night seemed still, like it was watching you. But you didn't care. All you cared for was your dear old dad and nothing more.

You were glad you chose to live with him, instead.

Reader would be an exchange student who would have gone to stay with the Graves family, but in the end she ended up being another 'victim' of the game's circumstances.

She would be a type of person who was indifferent to almost everything, cold-blooded, with somewhat sociopathic tendencies but with a kind heart.

Okay, let's do this, after Ashley's murder, Andrew and Reader finally got fake teeth and moved somewhere far away, but with all the recent traumas and along with the fear of being abandoned.

Andrew started to have possessive tendencies, a little clingy, toxic, manipulative towards our 'poor thing' Reader and that would result in them having children in the future, to keep her trapped in the coffin with him.

okay so first of all, Ashley never liked you, and thats part of the reason Andrew liked you sm

like, yea, he always does whatever his sister wants him to, and he hated himself for falling for you

but there was just something about how you were so indifferent under almost any circumstances (oh how he enjoyed seeing you crack under the pressure when you ate the cultist!)

your cold blooded outer shell was something intriguing to him

he wanted to study you

he wanted to get to know you.

did he care about you from the begining? ha, no.

of course he didnt

his sister hated you, so he hated you too

she was afraid you'd steal him from her so he didnt give you the chance

a couple of days into the quarantine is when he'll finally give in and start talking to you

and low and behold, he loved you from the first interaction

you were just so interesting!

he, of course, felt guilty for going against his sisters wishes, but he still would spend mre and more time just talking to you

after killing ashley i think he would just be in denial

for a really (REALLY) long time he would just wait for her to come back, even tough he knows shes not going to

after somehow getting away and finding a permanent place to stay, you two got in a relationship

both of you had abandonment issues you should treat, but neither of you felt it was necesary

from the start he didnt let you talk to anyone else but him

at first it was something you despited about him, feeling it was too clingy. you needed space, you needed privacy

but at one point those needs started fading away

he would tell you "you dont need anyone else but me. im the only one who is capable of understanding what you went trough! and you're the only one who can understand what I went trough. but its alright! dont worry about me! just worry about yourself and what you want. its not like you care about me anyway."

so you belived him

you didnt need anyone else but him

you told him you didnt want kids

you didnt feel they fufiled any particular need of yours and you didnt want to have them if you were just going to regret them after

he managed to change your mind

after having your 2nd child with him, you were so far gone that you remained just and empty shell of the person you used to be

the lines between you two started bleeding into eachother and so he absorbed your presence

you were just who he wanted you to be all along

he still loved you of course

also i feel like he would get a lot of his manipulation skills from his sister

or whatever is the feeling he gets thats closest to love

he just needed you to stay

and whenever it seemed like you were ready to fly away, he would cut your wings

On lukola fandom

Here’s some venting about the lukola fandom, and its ways, and consequences, from an ordinary polin, Bridgerton and Luke fan.

Starting from the way Luke’s loved ones and friends are treated by its adherents. Especially his girlfriend. The hate towards her is visceral. The whole phenomenon of bullying and stalking someone just for existing and posting on their SM account from time to time probably needs to be studied by social studies scholars and parasocial relationship specialists, cause it’s new heights apparently.

So, what if she’s proud of Luke as her boyfriend and wants to show it? What if she wants to mark her territory sometimes, to which she has a right btw? What if she trolls haters and delusional IRL shippers occasionally? Hers is probably the most relatable behavior. I myself, as an introvert millennial who doesn’t run one single SM account and cringe from the exhibitionist nature of current SM posting practices, still recognize that there’s nothing unusual about that kind of posting per se. Why was Luke’s former gf, Jade, allowed to post him all the time (which is totally alright btw), but Antonia hinting at having, say, a dinner with Luke is shady, attention-seeking, desperate, needy and despicable?

It's not that I care particularly about her. In fact, I couldn’t care less if she’s replaced by Luke with some other woman in a couple of months or if she is his future wife and mother to his kids. I still believe, regardless of her status in the relationship, she deserves basic respect and decent treatment as a human being that we know pretty much nothing about. She does not deserve the vilification and demonization that she gets.

Luke too, has a right to privacy and respect for his personal choices that are nobody’s business. He owes no one anything in terms of disclosing his dating life and confirming his relationships. If for someone, Luke bringing the girl to almost all his travels and events with himself, is not a proof or statement in and of itself about her being his girlfriend, then that’s on them. No amount of intentional misreading and skewed takes on photos will trump this simple fact.

Also please don’t bring up virtue signaling and other cancel culture stupidities, such as moral judgements passed on Luke and his close ones for political or other values purportedly held by them, of which we in fact know zilch. It’s clear that this is just another useful tool in a shipping crusade.

Nicola too, deserves, for a change, to have her numerous statements taken seriously. Let alone, privacy. She’s being stalked by her so-called fans to insanity. I am sure she, to put it mildly, is uncomfortable about her “queen” and “goddess” status among the cultists, and being a projection vessel for a myriad of sad women. Cause she knows very well this type of passionate idolatry is an inch away from hate, and the plus sign switches to a minus sign the minute she does something not to their liking, a wrong brand or person supported, or not enough disciplining of Luke is exercised. The most delusional thing about lukolas is them truly believing themselves to be Nic’s or Luke’s fans.

Which brings us to the crux of the matter. That IRL shipping is bad, period. Some lukola bloggers on tumblr, TT and IG half-heartedly try to reign in and admonish the more unhinged segment of the fandom by telling them to behave and not bring their bul..t to the actors' feet. However, this is what the lukola discourse platforms, by simply existing, still do - breed crazy fan behavior. Because the problem lies in the belief system itself. No amount of reservations, house-keeping and discipline by lukola discourse 'leaders' will do away with the tenets and premises of this religion that seep through and twist every discussion and speculation about the figures involved (Luke, Nic, etc). Since every reasoning should work towards a certain end goal, all means and distortions are good to achieve it. Finding faults with Luke's character and behavior and demanding a 'redemption' from him, hating and criticizing Luke's friends and family, attributing motivations to the actors and their loved ones that best suit theories, online stalking etc. A myth about Luke ever publicly stating he was single during promo, a ridiculous myth about Bridgerton cast and showrunners shipping lukola (news flash – nobody in the cast cares about their co-stars’ private lives, stop the kindergarten), or the “papgate” affecting in any way Luke’s job prospects. Myths upon myths that build the house of cards of the lukola dogma. I myself wouldn’t care a damn about this fandom if it really contained itself to its close corners and group chats, however, unsurprisingly, they spill over in a grand fashion and permeate all discourse.

You really believe the innocent delulu fangirling has no by-products? These are the staple manifestations of the lukola and of any IRL shipping fandom, and popular lukola theorists are pretty successful in justifying and reinforcing them. And it should not be surprising that some followers, the most zealous and stupid ones, take it too far and actually harass people and be annoying in SM.

As a Luke and polin fan, I am annoyed by this, but I am 100% sure this sh*t is affecting the actors, and you all can kiss goodbye to the chemistry between Luke and Nic naturally displayed during promo. I am sure polin will not be affected, for L and N are excellent actors and friends, but you all soon will look sadly back to S3 promo tour as magic that will never come back.

evermore as a peacock, for a collab on twitter 🦚

i was sooo excited to see a “sm characters as animals” theme because yay! animals!

my favourite characters are usually the most popular picks during these collabs so i was better off choosing the lesser picked ones to get a chance; out of my three options, i was given Evermore!

(my other picks were Richard and the Actress)

anyways, i had my WHOLE heart set on him being a peacock, it just made the most sense to me!

usually mayor characters are depicted as lions because they’re grand and apex animals, but i don’t think that accurately reflects Evermore for a few reasons.

i tried to incorporate his grey hairs into both his tail feathers and head!

as then the eye of the peacock tail feathers… for Evermore, it has two meanings depending on your personal view/theories on him:

it is a hint to the cult and him as a cultist

he is not a cultist BUT is instead working with them (whether willingly or is being manipulated) so the diamond is a "red herring" of sorts.

of course, it’d be funny as hell if he had absolutely nothing to do with them
