trauma

I've been replaying the Rusty Lake games while streaming them for a friend. We got all the way to Birthday, which started to get my gears turning, and before I knew it this happened.

Here are some naughty little detail shots:

To me, Rusty Lake is about healing. You, riddled with trauma and pain, have a chance to be reborn. A new life, to start over.

Dale and David's relationship embodies everything I love about Rusty Lake. The hurt, the pain... Dale tried to kill David, he tried to heal himself through anger and revenge, but David was still there. So maybe Dale has to forgive him instead, allow himself to let go of the pain, and move on.

Such is life. We hurt, but we wake up every day and we keep going.

Those two mean so much to me because I want to believe in that light at the end of the tunnel. That I, broken and aching, can heal too. (Also make out with your enemy ig)
