𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 — [y/n] goes on a first date with cameron, only to have ferris bueller and sloane peterson crash their date.

“nothing’s gonna go wrong, cameron!” [y/n] told their date, who of course was becoming a nervous wreck, even before the actual date started.

“you don’t know that!” cameron’s frown dropped down even further. “i-i just want it to be perfect.���

both of them were riding in cameron’s car, [y/n] riding shotgun as he drove them to their destination, a little restaurant that cameron was sure [y/n] would love. originally, he preferred going to a movie theater, but unfortunately, cameron overheard that ferris and sloane were going to see a movie. [y/n] didn’t mind though, they just wanted to spend time with him.

“well, we’re here...” cameron felt his anxiety increase until he felt a couple of fingers softly gripping onto his hand.

[y/n] entwined their fingers with his tightly, a lopsided smile appearing on their face. “hey, we don’t have to go here if you don’t want to. we could go to some other theater!”

“no, it’s alright. w-what’s the worst that could happen?” cameron grinned, squeezing their hand even tighter than before as they entered the cute little cafe.

“hey, i didn’t know you guys would be here!”

[y/n] and cameron whipped their heads around to see the infamous ferris bueller and his girlfriend, who’s table was near the enterance. ferris wore a smug smile which cameron didn’t take too kindly. he spoke through gritted teeth, not phasing ferris in the slightest. “i thought you were going to a see a movie, ferris.”

“we were, but sloane and i got hungry. and besides, i didn’t even know that you and [y/n] would be here.” ferris explained to cameron, sending a wink towards [y/n].

[y/n] sighed. they definitely shouldn’t have told him that they were going to the little cafe. cameron glanced at them, his lips parted just a bit.

“... sorry?” [y/n] scratched the back of their neck as they looked at him.

cameron let out a frustrated sigh, shaking his head as he grabbed [y/n]’s hand once again. “let’s just go somewhere else.”

“cameron, could i speak to you for a sec?” ferris put his hand up, stopping cameron and [y/n] from leaving.

cameron looked at [y/n] for a split second before scowling at ferris. “... fine.”

[y/n] shrugged, sitting down with sloane as cameron and ferris spoke to each other near the restrooms.

“if you don’t have your date here, who’s gonna be your wingman?”

“wingman? i don’t need a wingman!”

“are you sure?”

“... no. okay, fine! i’ll have the stupid date here.”

[y/n] beamed contently as cameron and ferris made their way back to their dates.

“so, what now?” [y/n] inquired to cameron.

“we’re gonna have our date here.” cameron told them, a bit disappointed in himself for needing a wingman.

as they both took a seat at a table right across from ferris and sloane’s table, [y/n] didn’t notice the little comments ferris whispered to cameron when they were turned away.

“ask them questions!”

“uh, so, you like shrimp?” [y/n] raised an eyebrow with a slight smile at cameron’s question.

they then heard a tiny scowl, before they excused themself to go use the restroom for a couple minutes.

“and don’t be weird when asking them!”

cameron’s head was filled with orders. honestly, his head was overflowing with all the suggestions ferris told him. sloane was becoming saddened, ferris seemingly paying to cameron’s date more than his own. [y/n] couldn’t tell what was up with cameron.

“offer them some ketchup for the fries!” ferris whisper-yelled.

“u-uh, you want some ketchup?” cameron wondered.

[y/n] nodded. “yeah, thanks.”

cameron grabbed the bottle, accidentally squirted some onto [y/n]’s clothes. their eye’s widened. the cap was unscrewed a bit, and the angle in which the bottle was in didn’t help the situation either.

“shit, sorry!” cameron exclaimed. “i’m really sorry, really!”

the boy expected them to be completely pissed, and he would understand if they didn’t want to continue having any more dates. though their response was surprisingly calm.

“it’s fine! it’s alright. could i talk to you outside?”

“uh, yeah.”

[y/n] grabbed his hand, dragging him to the front of the cafe.

“what’s wrong?”

“what do you mean?”

“you’re not acting like yourself, y’know. so what happened? where’s the usual cameron i love?”

cameron ran a couple fingers through his hair. he chuckled faintly, causing [y/n] to giggle a bit as well.

“i was trying to give you the perfect first date. ferris was helping. he didn’t do to good, did he?”

“well, no, but i think that the thought of it was cute!”

“r-really?”

“yeah! it’s cute how you wanted the date to be perfect.”

[y/n] found themself on their tippy toes, pressing their lips to cameron’s delicately. it was as if cameron and [y/n] were handling glass or fine china. the moment only lasted a little while, but a spark flew through both teenagers.

“hey, [y/n]?”

“hm?”

“i think i love you.”

“i think i love you too, cam.”

ferris’ cheering could be heard. he was at the door, clapping. “i knew you two kids would get together! now come finish your food!”

cameron and [y/n] shook their heads, laughing and snorting with embarrassment as they headed back inside to continue the date.

“Okay” Ferris moved Sloane, who was comfortably resting over him, to pause the movie. “I’ve had enough” 

“Why?” Cameron said, making you look up at him from your position leaning on his shoulder. He was grinning. “Are you scared, Ferris?” 

His friend opened his mouth wide, gawking at him in absolutely outrage.

“No, I’m not scared!” Ferris replied, sulkily crossing his arms over his chest. “I’m bored! We’ve seen five movies in a row”

“He’s scared” Cameron playfully told you, making you laugh.

By this point, you were a little numb to the violence and jumpscares of the horror movies. It seemed, however, that Ferris was having a very different reaction. After all, it felt like he had reached his breaking point and refused to stand another second of them.

“I’m not scared” He repeated, more sternly this time. “I just don’t want Sloane to be”

“I’m fine” She calmly said, giving a little shrug. Her boyfriend rolled his eyes.

It was funny that out of the four of you, the least likely to get frightened with horror movies actually got scared. But Ferris just shook his head and turned the TV off, not putting up with your teasing.

Requested by anon: Cameron Frye x reader (not together yet) where the reader, Sloan, Ferris, and Cameron go skipping school to a cool lake and swim for like hours and have fun and then compete at foosball and stuff at an arcade and they end up kissing in the car before he drops her off?

Pairing: Cameron Frye x Female!reader

Warnings: Ittie bit o swearing, fluff, Ferris being Ferris yet again, small teen angst if you squint, small changes of FBDO’s storyline (see 2nd note), iffy writing w/ no proofreading

Note: tbch, I got the title from Sucker Punch and I’m not sorry. Also pushing-docks are amazing and so much fun, just make sure to be careful, watch your limbs (that can get stuck between the wood of the dock), and be 100% sure that you know how to swim! Anyways, I hope you liked it, anon!

YOU DON’T HAVE TO READ THIS PART, IT’S JUST ABOUT THE STORYLINE!

To change it, this is before FBDO takes place. They still steal the Ferrari & I know it doesn’t make sense but Ferris and Sloane’s kiss scene still happens-, but they get it back without Mr. Frye knowing they took it, all he notices is that something’s iffy. When FBDO happens, Cameron has his cannon reaction, but unlike the movie, it’s ‘cause his dad is already suspicious as it is, so it works out in the end 😅

The car halted to a stop, Cameron hidden uncomfortably while he waited for Ferris to collect the two girls. Of course him and Sloane caused a small scene with their kissing. Y/n sat in a spot where she could ask Cam if he was okay without anyone who might be outside seeing, a smile gracing her face when he responded, “Not really, but I’m doing better now that you’re here.”

Finally, Ferris started the car and sped off, allowing Cameron to sit up and get comfortable for once. Y/n waited for him to move the cover before she moved next to him and away from the couple, giggling at the expression he made.

“Don’t do that, it’s dangerous.”

“Says the guy who stole his father’s Ferrari.” She teased.

“Actually, Ferris took it. I tried to stop him, I really did but-”

“Cam, it’s okay, I’m kidding.” Her laugh made his smile return. A couple more chuckles later, Sloane and Ferris were laughing as well. “Though he has a point Ferris. Anything happens, Cameron, or even you, is going to be dead.”

“Wow, thank you Y/n, I feel so much better now. Knowing my dad’ll kill me makes me jump with joy- ow!” Y/n punched Cameron’s shoulder lightly, interrupting his sarcastic comment. She turned to face him, feigning an angered expression. They held eye contact for just a few seconds before they erupted into giggles yet again.

“We’re here!” Ferris pulled over and helped Sloane out the car. Y/n got out on her own, then turned towards the car, reaching her hand out for Cameron to take.

“You’re such a gentlemen.”

“Thank you, Frye, I take my duties seriously.” She smiled before she skipped off to join Sloane.

The girls returned in bathing suits, jumping into the water and swimming around a tiny bit. The lake cooled them off in the overwhelming heat; summer was around the corner. They swam to the small dock, climbing on top of it and resting peacefully in the sun. A little too peacefully for the boys’ taste.

They exchanged glances, swimming to the dock, sitting a few seconds, then getting up and jumping. They hit the water hard. 

Both girls were now soaked head to toe, their hair and skin, previously dried from the sun’s warming caresses, were now drenched. Cameron and Ferris were too busy laughing to realize that this was now the start of a war. Y/n stood up, mock sadness covering her once joyful face. Her shivering was genuine, like Sloane’s, bodies warmed from the sun now freezing with the lake water.

“Shit, Y/n, I’m sorry. Is there anything I can do to make up for it?”

“Cameron! Don’t apologize! It was fun!”

“Shut up Ferris.” Y/n and Cameron spoke in unison.

“Anyways, yes, Cam, there is...” Her smile returned, but smaller than before.

“I’ll do anything! What is it?”

“Well it’s more something I can do, but same result, ya know?” He gave her a confused glance before he tumbled backwards into the water. Y/n laughed victoriously, Sloane joining in after she shoved Ferris into the water while he was distracted, laughing at Cameron’s surprised face and flailing arms.

She sat down on the edge, smiling mischievously. “Sorry, you guys were just looking rather hot, thought you could use something to cool you down.”

“So you think we’re hot, huh Y/n?” Ferris cackled harder when Y/n kicked water at his face. Cameron took the opportunity to get a hit in for his side of the war, ducking under water while Y/n and Sloane conversed with Ferris, quips left and right, laughter here and there.

Y/n’s shriek of surprise was loud and echoed throughout the lake as she was dragged into the water by her foot. Cameron came up first, wiping the water off his face and eyes with a cheeky smile. Y/n surfaced next, coughing out water and climbing back onto the dock.

“You’re not getting out of this one, Frye.”

Sloane and Ferris teased the boy, adding to Y/n’s threat-like-comment with the infamous “oooooo” and chuckles.

“Oh shut it” he shook his head, getting back on the dock with Y/n and hugging her apologetically. She should’ve seen it coming. Y/n hugged Cam back, then attempted to have her revenge on his second attack, shoving him into the water.

She dropped with him, splashing into the water next to him. He let go of her and climbed up the dock a third time, reaching his hand out to help Y/n back up. Y/n swam away from him with a laugh, “No, I’m not trusting you.”

“Y/n, have you really forgotten how hugs work?” Ferris chaffed, “Don’t worry, the grown ups can remind you. See, one person’s arms wrap around the other for a hug, usually the other person wraps their arms around the first person as well. So when Cameron here hugged you, and you tried to push him- well that doesn’t work, now does it?”

“Yeah, Bueller, I think I can tell.” She rested her hands atop the warm wood, pushing down and lifting herself back onto the dock. Sloane yelped as Ferris copied Cameron’s actions from before, dragging her into the water. Y/n groaned and reached out to her friend, offering her help back onto the floating surface.

She too let out a yelp, going face first into the water after Sloane grabbed her hand but pulled backwards, pulling her into the water. “Traitor!” Y/n ducked underwater and pulled Sloane down, laughing with her friend when they both resurfaced and pulled themselves upon the top of the dock again.

Sadly, their amused giggles became screams due to Cameron and Ferris picking them both up and throwing them into the water. They stood tall and proud, before Cameron turned to Ferris and surged forward, shoving his friend into the lake as well.

“I'm going to go ahead and guess that the pushing-dock is no longer the resting-dock?”

“Well, it is called a pushing-dock, Sloane.” Ferris grunted as he climbed up, then leaped at Cameron. Both boys fell backwards, hitting the water with a splash.

“What do you say, Peterson? We show these boys who’s king of the pushing-dock?”

“I suppose our kingdoms could form some kind of alliance, but I can’t promise my soldiers will stay loyal for to long.” The girls grinned, ready to take the boys and claim the dock as their prize for winning. They were at it for a couple hours, wrestling until one person fell backwards, both people fell, or even until one person pushed the other three off at the same time.

Y/n and Cameron joined forces at some point, shoving Ferris off each time he got back on, preventing him from even having a chance. True, it wasn’t the fairest of thing to do, but it made Cameron feel better about taking his father’s car.

They played chicken, Y/n on Cameron’s shoulders, Sloane on Ferris’, then Y/n on Sloane’s and Cameron on Ferris’, Sloane on Y/n’s and Ferris on Cameron’s, they continued switching partners and games until they decided they were done swimming, aka, tired themselves out.

After their fun in the lake was over, they changed their clothes and headed back to the city, stopping at the arcade and eating lunch there. Playing the games was just a pro of eating at an arcade, and the teens took it to their advantage.

“C’mon,” Cameron grabbed Y/n’s hand and pulled her to a smaller, not so digital, game. “Remember when we played here last time? It’s been a while..”

“Cameron, it’s literally been a month.”

“Exactly.”

They shared laughs and challenged each other. The foosball table was empty the time they were there, so they found it being their main source of entertainment, aside from watching Ferris try to impress Sloane on games he knew were rigged to always win.

After Cameron had won a number of times, Y/n bought churros for her and Cam, staying true to a bet they’d made on who’d win. The two leaned against the foosball table and ate their treats while they watched Ferris and Sloane’s interactions and reactions.

“Wanna play the ‘game’?” Cameron asked without moving his head, keeping his sight on the couple.

“Yep. I’ll go first.” She bit into her churro. “Oh Ferris, thank you for taking me on our lovely adventure, what a shame Y/n and Cameron had to be third and fourth wheelers though, I feel so bad for making them witness us eating face in the parking lot-”

Cameron wheezed, coughing out the bite of churro he had been eating prior to Y/n’s purposely-poor imitation of Sloane’s voice. His face was red from how hard he was laughing. Y/n joined in, laughing both in embarrassment and amusement.

Their contagious, at least between the two themselves, laughter caught the attention of the couple the game’d been about. “What happened? Are you guys okay?”

Y/n and Cameron calmed themselves, preparing to respond to Sloane, before they both pressed their lips together in attempt of preventing their laughter’s return, failing right as their eyes quickly darted to each other’s and back. Y/n hunched over, holding her stomach as he laughed violently, Cameron mirroring Y/n’s actions.

Eventually, just as all good things do, their adventure came to an end. It was time to go home, Sloane back at the school while she waited for her real father, Y/n at her house, Cameron at his, and Ferris in bed; feigning sick like usual.

Y/n’s house was closer, plus she had a tool to give to the boys so Mr. Frye didn’t notice anything off about his Ferrari, so she was their first stop. Cameron noticed Y/n tensing up the closer they got to her home and rubbed her shoulder reassuringly. They both didn’t want the day to end. Really, none of the four did.

They stopped and Ferris helped Sloane out, then reached to help Y/n. She didn’t take his hand, so he awkwardly pulled away and followed Sloane to Y/n’s front door.

“You know, we can do this again, it’ll be okay.”

“No... I know we can do this again, but I can’t do... this again.” 

Cameron raised his brow with confusion. “Do what?”

Y/n inhaled, preparing to say something she’d been nervous about saying. Cameron reached for Y/n’s hand and squeezed it softly, earning a warm, thankful smile from the girl.

“I like you. A lot. As in.. more than a friend.”

He looked away, then looked back at her, squinting from the sun’s merciless glare. “...Yeah?”

“Yeah..” She blushed, raising her eyebrows and smiling awkwardly. They both laughed quiet small laughs, which could have easily been mistaken for a scoff or uneasy breathing. Just as she thought it’d been a sign of his uninterested, he grabbed her face softly and kissed her.

“You see, we all knew Cameron liked Y/n and Y/n liked Cameron, they were both just too stubborn to realize it. With our adventure, I planned some time to hang out, I didn’t expect them to...you know, kiss and all. But I’ll be happy to take credit for them finally admitting their feelings for each other. Oh, and one more thing-”

“Would you uh,” Cameron laughed nervously, scratching the back of his neck, “possibly be interested in going out with me some time?”

“He finally asked her out.”

It took me a while, but I’m finally here with my celebration for reaching the incredible milestone that is 9k followers, I’m celebrating with a special event: drabble prompts for underrated characters! 🎉✨ 

They are basically drabbles and prompts put together, since they’re formatted like a drabble but requested with a prompt provided, in this case them being tropes we all love. There is an additional twist, it being that this celebration will be focusing on underrated characters, being it a combination of characters that deserve more love as well as some characters that haven’t been requested much and that I’m inspired for.

Ferris had just convinced Cameron to come over and call Mr. Rooney to get Sloane and y/n out of school, scaring the man in the process. A nurse was sent to pick up the girls from class, the nurse now racing to their classroom. Then informing Sloane of her “Grandmother’s death.” Sloane giving a genuine reaction to the news while y/n was... well she was bit confused.

“That is unfortunate.. but I’m sorry.. I don’t understand what this has to do with me?”

The nurse looked over at her, eyebrows furrowed. “Well Mr. Peterson says you are a family friend and that you are to be pulled out with Sloane here, you guys have some family business to attend to. Am I not correct?”

“Uh.. I’ll just go with what you’re saying.” Y/n reached over and gave Sloane a side hug as they walked out to the front of the school to meet with the dean. “You okay?”

The young girl nodded and opened the door, greeting Mr. Rooney with a kind smile. Y/n decided to wait on the lowest step, putting in her earbuds to her Walkman and watching the road for Mr. Peterson’s car. Mr. Rooney was trying to make small talk with the other teen, her expressions showing her boredom. When a bus passed by, a red car was in the middle of the road. Both female’s eyes widened in realization, Sloane smiling when Ferris stepped out in disguise.

“Oh Sloane dear, y/n darling? Hurry along now.” He made a gesture to the car with his head.

Y/n got up and raced to the car, hoping in the middle of the front, hearing a grunt behind her. “Cam is that you?” 

“Yep. Could you like.. move? Forward a bit? Thank you.” She did as Cameron asked, reaching down into her backpack to avoid being suspicious. A few moments later Sloane walked down the steps, sharing an awkward moment with Ferris by the car.

“Hi!”

“Do you have a kiss for daddy?”

“Are you kidding?”

Y/n groaned and went back to digging through her bag as soon as the couple started to make-out on the spot. ‘Disgusting and suspicious.’ Could it get any worse? Oh yeah, there was hardly enough room in the car. Sloane got in and sat next to y/n, leaning over when she noticed Cameron.

“Hi Cam, you comfortable?”

“Hi Sloane. No.” The two girls giggled slightly, Cameron reaching forward and pinching y/n’s hips causing her to giggle more. Ferris entered the car, dropping the Mr. Peterson act a little.

“So, what are we gonna do today?” Sloane was excited for adventure, also relived her grandma hadn’t actually died.

“The question isn’t what are we going to do today, it’s what aren’t we going to do today.” 

Cameron regretted letting Ferris take the car at that exact moment, his mumbling of “Please don’t say we aren’t going to take the care home.” ignored once Ferris sped out of the school lot and out into the road. Y/n was given more space to sit once Cameron came out from under the backseat cover, probably frightened of how his dad would react to his car in Ferris’ hands.

By now, Ferris had put the car in a parking garage and tricked a restaurant into believing he was The Sausage King Of Chicago, Abe Froman. Y/n glanced at Cameron with a smile and a raised eyebrow as they were being seated. Cameron smirked back at her with a wide smile and raised both his eyebrows.

“Darling,” Ferris leaned towards Sloane, “You are wonderful.” Clink. They clicked their glasses together, Ferris now looking at Y/n. “Gumdrop,” The nickname the group dubbed y/n, “Thank you for joining us on our quest of fun today.” Finally, he looked over to Cameron, who was chugging his water to avoid conversing with Ferris. “Cameron, dear friend. You thought we wouldn’t have fun. Shame on you.”

Cam glared at Ferris for a few seconds but returned to skimming the menu.

After the group got their food, Ferris left to use the bathroom talking to the people watching the movie. The other three teens began to eat, Cam and Y/n occasionally making faces at each other and showing their mouths full of food. It wasn’t new, for the two to do weird things at or with each other, in fact they did it so much that Sloane and Ferris had a bet on who would ask who out or if they even had feelings for each other. Alas, it was a one sided love, Cameron didn’t think of Y/n really as anything else but a close friend.

Cameron pushed through the crowd, guiding an obviously annoyed Sloane. “They didn’t leave, they’re probably doing something!”

“No, it really busts my hump, ya know?”

“Awh Cameron, they didn’t ditch us or anything, they’re here.”

“Ay for all we know, they went back to school.”

Sloane rolled her eyes, it was clear that Ferris got them out of school for a reason. “They would not go back to school.”

“Well yeah Ferris would do it, he’d do it just to make me sweat.”

“No, he would not, Cameron come on.” 

“Makes me mad..”

Of course Cam had been right about Ferris doing something just to get a reaction out of him, so the unexpected happened. “Ladies and gentlemen, you’re such a wonderful crowd. We’d like to play a little tune for you.” Sloane and Cameron stopped walking, becoming aware of Ferris’ voice coming out of the speaker. “It’s one of my personal favorites, and I’d like to dedicate it to a young man who doesn’t think he’s seen anything good today.” Both of them turned around, now facing the float. “Cameron Frye, this one’s for you.” 

A circle of 6 women holding hands stepped off the platform, revealing Ferris with a microphone, lipsynching to Danke Schoen by Wayne Newton. Cameron and Sloane yelled out at him, “Ayy!” “Ferris, get off of the float!” “What  are you doing!?” “How’d you get up there?!” They walked up to it, only to get pushed back into the crowd by an officer.

“We still don’t know where y/n is Sloane.” Cameron started to worry, picturing multiple possibilities to where she could be or what could have happened to her. 

“She’ll be fine, she’s probably watching the float too. Are you alright?” 

He shook his head, why did he care so much? They were just friends, weren’t they? ‘Yeah... just friends. Friends can worry about friends. That’s normal..right?’ Cameron swore he’d never been so confused, shaking off his thoughts to talk to Sloane while they walked. “You know, as long as I’ve known him, everything works for him. There’s nothing he can’t handle. I can’t handle anything.” He looked down, listing off the things he felt insecure about. “School, parents, future...” He shook his head again, “Ferris can do anything.”

Sloane gave him a worried but comforting look, continuing to listen when he spoke again, “I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

“Collage.” She smiled at him, giving her best attempt to cheer him up. He smiled back at her, nodding.

“Yeah.. but to do what?”

“What are you interested in?”

He immediately pictured y/n, her warming smile and smooth hands. The clothing she wore that he found adorable, but always brushed off as her attire being nice. The giggle that made his day, the hug that made him feel safe and at home. Thoughts of y/n flooded his mind, his smile growing wider. “Nothing.”

He looked down at Sloane and held eye contact for a few seconds before she laughed and shook her head, Cam chuckling as well. “Me neither.” They stopped walking and watched Ferris dance on the float, waving at the audience.

“You’re crazy!” Cameron shouted at him as the song ended, letting out a small laugh to what he’d said. 

“What do you think Ferris is gonna do?”

Another song started, y/n stepping out from her hiding spot and joining Ferris while Cam and Sloane were distracted talking.

The crowd started to dance, some singing along. People stopping what they were doing to dance and enjoy the happy moment.

Y/n and Ferris lipsynched into their microphones, altering from facing each other to facing the audience every once in a while. Y/n making sure to look at Cameron when she wasn’t turned towards Ferris. Her smile was filled with true joy. Little did she know, so was Cameron’s.

Cameron’s feet were tapping to the music, aching to dance along with Y/n, maybe even switch places with Ferris on the float. She was dancing more than lipsynching, but no one could tell except for Cam. His eyes flicking around her body, eventually focusing mostly on her lips. It was the first time he’d noticed how soft they looked, the first time he consciously found himself wanting to kiss them. Would they be as soft as they looked? And had he wondered that before?

A finger belonging to y/n was pointed at Cameron, her hand turning upwards, bending and unbending the finger. This time she was lipsynching, directing the lyrics towards Cameron, asking him to dance with her.

The song ended and Ferris did a trust fall into the ladies, the crowd gathering around the float. Y/n was watching Ferris, laughing the laugh that Cameron now realized he loved. She looked over to him, finally calming herself and smiling the sweet smile that he also loved. Y/n waved at him, waiting until he waved back to turn around and ask Ferris how they were going to get off the float.

“And that’s how I knew I loved you.”

“You knew you loved me because I sang and danced with Ferris?” Her laugh was music to his ears. “Remind me to tell our future children that you’re not aloud to tell love stories.”

“Oh come on, you’re forgetting the part where I said I noticed it consciously. As in I felt the same way without realizing it until then. Plus it was kind of hot, ya know? You singing and dancing to the Beatles?”

“Alright weirdo, save the kissing up to those future kids cause I’m totally gonna be their favorite.”

Cameron stopped rubbing her arm and sat up on the couch, letting out a dramatic gasp. “You would not! I’d be the best dad!”

“Mhm, keep telling yourself that Frye. I bet even I could be a better dad than you.”

“True- but we’d both be better dads than Ferris.”

“Oh don’t get me started. I would never trust him babysitting, let alone being in the same room with a kid on his own. Who knows the type of stuff he’d teach them?!”

“Yeah...” Cam lied back down and resumed cuddling y/n. “Hey, my beautiful beloved?” 

“Yes my handsome weirdo?”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”
