Lunch time was over, but just as you walked to your classroom you saw something that stopped you on your tracks. There he was again, Ferris Bueller, trying to skip class while the rest of you stayed. Being filled with a sudden rage, you exited the building and went after him.
“Hey, you!” You called him, causing him to instantly turn around to face you. “You’re doing it again, aren’t you? You think you’re better than everyone else?”
Ferris rolled his eyes at you and continued walking, but you refused to let him go just like that. Stomping after him, you grabbed his arm when you reached him. That way, he couldn’t continue to ignore you.
“I’m telling the principal!”
“Why do you hate me so much, Y/N? Have I ever done something to you?”
“You’re just... just...” You muttered, hating to be flustered as you found yourself face to face with him. “You’re so obnoxious, Ferris! And you’re stupid!”
“I’m stupid, huh?” He defied you, angrily letting go of your grip.
“Y-Yeah, with your stupid good looks and charm, you think you can get away with anything because everyone loves you? And because you had that stupid adorable face!”
You had been too caught up in your anger and resentment to realize what you were saying. That was, until you saw Ferris’ smug smirk.
“Are you sure you hate me?” He told you, absolutely beaming. “Because it kinda feels like you like me a lot”
“That’s the problem, stupid! I like you and it annoys me so much!”
“Why? Maybe I like you too... at least I do when you’re not mean to me”
You gawked at each other, and that shared anger that boiled inside you and was reflected in both your faces slowly dissipated. The two of you stood there, looking at each other like you were meeting for the first time.
“Then... maybe I should stop being mean to you” You averted your gaze, pretending to roll your eyes. “As long as you stop being so unbearable”
“Fine” Ferris dryly replied, pretending to be uninterested. “Maybe we should kiss to seal the deal”
“Maybe that will get you to shut up and stop being annoying” You replied in the same tone, but you couldn’t help the smile that appeared on your lips when you felt him taking the initiative and kiss you.

well, ferris radiates chaotic energy, só I feel like he could make even the most mundane plots fun. Some random ideas to get your creative juices flowing: a long road trip with him and a few friends in a van; being partners in a school project where you have to care for a doll as if it was a baby; being together somewhere (home or in public) when suddenly the power goes off for the whole area; anything about him admitting his feelings would be nice!
Tumblr media
you popped your bubblegum as you closed your binder, shoving it in your bag as you irritatingly waited for your teacher to announce your partner for the baby caring project. “for this baby project, the partners will be.. sarah and jake, tommy and abigal, ferris and yn..”
your head shot up and looked over at ferris, who had a smirk playing on his lips as he looked at mrs. adams. she passed out the robatic babies to the girls, and you sigh as you held the baby. you ran your finger down their cheek, sighing as you knew you’d have to do this project yourself.
“these babies will be turned on at 3pm after school. girls, you will take care of them all day saturday, sunday the boys will take care of them all day, but tonight, you both will take care of your baby together. have fun, parents!”
the bell rung and ferris comes up to you, taking the baby and holding it with one hand. “no, ferris..” you show him how to hold it, how to support the baby’s head, and he laughs.
“this is weird”
“you have to support her head, otherwise it will flop which is bad for their neck” he hands you the baby and you sigh.
“well, i’ll see you sunday!” he smiles and bolts away. you call after him, but there was no use. you huff, heading out to your car and putting the baby in your lap, turning on your car and letting the AC kick in.
your passenger door opens and ferris jumps in, sighing. “what the hell?” you furrow your eyebrows as his face was painted with a cheeky smile.
“you really thought i was gonna let you do this all by yourself?” he chuckles and you look at him with raise brows, his smile dropping. ferris puts a hand over his heart, gasping over dramatically offended. “i can’t believe you think so little of me, yln!”
“well.. you did ditch me that one time when we had to do a presentation.. so you have to earn that trust again, bueller” you smile and hand him the baby rather roughly, putting on your sunglasses and pulling out of the school parking lot.
you pull into your house and the clock read 2:57pm, meaning the baby was going to turn on in 3 minutes. “do you remember what time she said they’re turning on?” ferris held the baby upside down and you laugh, grabbing two cans of coke.
“i honestly don’t remember” you lie and he sat on the couch, setting the baby down and opening his coke with a ‘thank you’ before he could even take a sip, the baby turned on and started to cry. you quickly snuck into the bathroom, letting him deal with the baby for a second.
“uh.. uh yn!” he panicked and you wanted to laugh.
“bathroom!” you yelled back with a smile, covering your mouth so you didn’t laugh and blow your cover. ferris put his drink down and you peeked out the door, watching as he picked the baby up. he remembered what you told him and supported her head, rocking her and shushing her. you but your lip and smiled, ferris proud of himself as he got the baby to calm down.
you came out of the bathroom and patted him on the back. “look! she’s sleeping!” the baby made sleeping sounds and you smile at him.
“proud of you ferris. you can lay her in that little bed over there” ferris did what you said and sat down next to you, sighing.
“i didn’t know i could do that. but it was easy. i think i can work with real babies” you snicker and ferris looks at you. “you think i couldn’t?”
“well, that baby is robotic” you smile and he pouts, your cheeks heating a bit as you watched his lips.
“i could work with real babies. i’d be good with them. i can make little kids laugh!”
“yeah, cause you’re funny looking” you wink and poke his cheek, ferris laughing and hitting your hand.
ferris hung around until dinner time, wishing you good luck for the night and telling you he’d see you tomorrow at the same time to take the baby home.
ferris was on time the next day, and played along like he was your husband and that the doll was a real baby. “honey i’m home! dinner smells delicious!” he announced and you shake your head, laughing. he kissed your cheek and smiled, side hugging you. you blushed and rubbed his back. “how was last night”
“it was okay. she only cried 2 times and i got a good amount of sleep. are you ready for your night?”
you and ferris talked for a while, laughing and teasing each other. you gave him advice for the baby and he saluted, giving you a kiss on the cheek again before leaving.
the next morning, ferris came over with major bed head. “i.. am never having children” he huffed and you took the baby, rocking her a little.
“bad night?”
“i didn’t get to sleep! at all! i nearly turned her off but then she fell asleep. i need my sleep, or i’m gonna get cranky like a baby” you laugh and ferris fixes his hair the best he could. “what’re you doing tomorrow after school?”
“homework” he scrunched his nose. “what?”
“after school, we’re hanging out. no if ands or buts! i like hanging out with you, and i’d like to do it without a baby crying. so i will see you tomorrow at school” he smiled, kissing your cheek and waving.
there was something about ferris bueller. you just couldn’t hate that kid, and you definitely didn’t hate him.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it - Ferris Bueller
Every John Hughes Film has that line that will mark always on the hearts of every teenagers, no matter what era you are in. You couldn’t help but relate to his movies because he portrays the life of a teenager as important as those as an adult. That their problems in life also matter no matter how childish the problem is. Ferris line is more relevant today than before because we are living in a fast pace world, we might be online always on the internet but we are less present to the real world. No screen can replace the pure fun of life outside always connect your self to the world because you might missed the fun.

Dating Cameron Frye
Tumblr media
(Not my gif)
If y’all don’t know what Chez Quis is, it’s the fancy restaurant Ferris, Sloane, and Cameron visited in the movie !! Just clearing that up in case people get confused haha
Anonymous requested:  Can you make some headcanons for dating Cameron Frye?
I enjoyed writing this! Thank you for the request :) Sorry it’s quite late, I hope you understand :’) I also hope you enjoy reading !!
-You met at Chez Quis, a fancy French restaurant. You were waiting for someone when three teenagers that looked your age strutted in. They looked quite under-dressed for such a high end eatery.
-One of them cockily claimed that he was Abe Froman, sausage king of Chicago. ”You aren’t Mr. Froman,” You scoffed, earning their attention.
-”Oh yeah? And how would you know?” This guy was certainly arrogant.
-”I think I’d know what my Uncle Abe looked like if I saw him, thank you. I’m meeting him here, actually.”
-They got so scared that you could’ve sworn they turned white. Mr. arrogant apologized quickly, begging that you wouldn’t tell on them.
-You chuckled, that’s what he gets for messing with you. “It’s fine. I’ll let this slide only because the tall one’s cute.” You sent a wink his way.
-Cameron wasn’t really one to catch girls’ attention, so being noticed by one was new to him. You caught him off guard and the boy turned into flustered, blushing mess.
-From that moment on, he would never forget what you said about him.
-The way you put Ferris in his place and how you were also the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen had him convinced that love at first sight could actually be a real thing.
-You got to know them while you waited, calling your uncle and asking him to reschedule after befriending them. You played along, convincing the employee that Ferris was indeed the well-known sausage king while Sloane and Cameron were close friends of his. You were brought to your table and spent lunch getting to know the three better.
-You decided to join them on their adventure because you didn’t have anything better to do.
-You spent a lot of time with Cameron since Ferris and Sloane had each other to keep company.
-Throughout the course of the day, Cameron learned that you had a lot in common. Finding out that you weren’t just a pretty face who was fluent in sarcasm, but had a great and fun personality that balanced out his reluctant self made him fall even harder.
-Little does he know, you’re falling too. He was such a nice guy and you thought his timidity was adorable. His smile made your heart skip a beat.
-As the day was ending, Cameron plucked up enough courage to ask you out and you agreed.
-You had your first date at a local diner and you two talked for hours.
-A successful first date led to a second date that led to a third (where you shared your first kiss) that led to a fourth that led to a fifth that led to a sixth where he finally asked you to be his girlfriend.
-Expounding on the third date, you were in a local museum, hand-in-hand, admiring the intricate paintings that surrounded you. Cameron stole a quick glance from time to time, not-so-subtly adoring you. Your eyes were dreamy and bright, your lips were curved into a small smile. You noticed him staring and turning to him, only to be met with his lips on yours.
-Hanging out with the trio became a regular occurrence and you’d go on all sorts of excitedly troublesome adventures.
-He would always do funny impressions just to get you to laugh
-He loved your laugh. In fact, he loved everything about you.
-Double dates with Ferris and Sloane.
-Library dates.
-Picnic dates.
-Playing with his hair.
-Since Cameron is a literal giant compared to you, you tend to steal borrow his clothes often. Wearing his clothes gives you so much comfort. Your favorite item to take is his red jersey.
-Trying on his hats.
-When he sees you in his clothes, he thinks it’s the cutest damn thing in the world.
-He always buys you gifts for every occasion. And for every achievement you’ve earned. Even the most irrelevant ones. Won first place in a contest? Gift. Got an A+ on a test? Gift. Got out of bed at 5 in the afternoon? Gift. Why would he reward you for that? Easy; he sees when you give even the tiniest bit of effort, and he’s beyond proud of you. He thinks that every little thing is worth celebrating.
-Not a lot of intensive PDA because he’s shy. But he does like holding your hand when you’re out together for three reasons. Number one: it’s comforting. Number two: he wants to get the message across that you’re taken. Number three: so you wouldn’t wander off and get lost. (you tend to do that a lot.)
-But if he sees someone checking you out or making a move on you, he’ll ditch the bashfulness and full-on make out with you.
-He doesn’t get jealous often. He trusts you and you trust him.
-Gives the best hugs.
-You lose your virginity to each other at one point.
-He was a nervous wreck when you introduced him to your parents. However, they absolutely loved him. He made you so happy and they could tell. They treated him as family, making up for his lack of affectionate parental figures.
-He didn’t want his parents to find out about you. It wasn’t at all because of you, but because they were uptight and he was scared they wouldn’t like you. His dad loved a freaking car over his son, what more if it was his girlfriend.
-You had never went to his house. He didn’t like the idea of you going there because of his parents. They would constantly fight and he didn’t want to expose you to that toxic environment. Even though you suggested coming when they weren’t home, he was afraid you’d get caught staying there and that they would forbid you from seeing each other.
-The last thing he’d want is for you to leave.
-You understood his situation and suggested keeping you guys a secret, offering to stay at your house when you wanted to hang out together.
-He thought you were the most empathetic and caring person. He often wondered how he got so lucky.
-You made him sane. He didn’t exactly have a good home life nor did he have much of a loving relationship w his parents. So he turned to you when he couldn’t seem to handle life alone.
-When he’s having a bad day, you would gladly drop everything and go to him, wherever he was. You would bring him to your house to comfort him.
-Both of you would talk for hours and cuddle in the hopes that he’d feel better.
-Peppering his face with kisses.
-Watching movies and shows together.
-Questions why you’re with him every now and then but you would always reassure him that you love him and that he was perfect.
-When you’re feeling down on the other hand, he always makes sure to be there for you. He’ll hold you tightly in his arms and will leave you to cry or scream in frustration, as long as it helps you let your troubles out.
-Gives the best advice.
-He’ll rock you back and forth while repeating soft “I love you’s” in your ear.
-You’re convinced you’ll marry him someday.
-He wants to spend his whole life with you.

This is hands down the best John Hughes movie I've ever seen. If you're a teenager I encourage you to see it,it's just amazing and ICONIC. I inspire to be as chill and care free as Ferris.
Movie: Ferris Bueller's day off (1986)
Favourite quotes:
•"Life moves pretty fast,if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"
•"It's not that i support facsism or any ism for that matter. Isms in my opinion are not good. A person  should not believe in an ism, he should believe in himself"

Movie For One | Ferris Bueller
here’s a short, tooth-rotting fluff for you guys. sorry I've been so m.i.a!
warnings: none!
You weren’t sure when you fell asleep, but you knew that you had been expecting it. After a week of exams, your exhaustion was inevitable. You knew the moment that Ferris suggested a movie night that you were setting yourself up for failure. But who could say no to that face?
You had gotten quite a bit of enjoyment out of watching him flit around the house, jetting from the kitchen to the living room and back again. First he brought in the popcorn, but forgot the napkins. Then he found the blankets, but not the pillows. And when he finally settled down onto the couch beside you, he realized that neither of you had grabbed the remote.
“You’d lose your head if it wasn’t attached to you,” you teased, getting up from your fortress of blankets to retrieve the remote from its place atop the dvr.
He was already grinning at you when you tossed the remote to him, a sardonic frown on your lips. “I guess it’s a good thing I have you around then, hmm?” he posed. When you rolled your eyes, he chuckled, reaching his arms out to get a hold of your waist. You didn’t fight at all as he tugged you back into his arms. All you did was shuffle around a bit to get comfortable, your head resting beneath his chin and your legs tangled with his.
The lights had long since been dimmed, and the banter between you and Ferris had pretty much silenced the moment the movie started. Almost immediately, you felt your eyelids grow heavy. You weren’t sure if it was his soft fingertips combing through your hair or the gentle background noise that was pushing you closer and closer towards slumber, but either way, you found it hard to keep your eyes open.
Your lips tugged into a lazy smile every time his chest vibrated beneath your head as he chuckled. You even found yourself laughing quietly along with him, not necessarily at the movie, but more so in response to the fuzzy feeling that settled into your stomach when you thought about how much you adored him. Every time you laughed or shifted or did literally anything to prove that you were still alive, Ferris’s lips found their way to your hairline. His gentle kisses just made you feel even more at home.
The moment your eyes gave in to your weariness, it was over. Your eyelids stopped their resistance and a broken sleep washed over you. You could still hear the movie faintly playing in the background of your mind, but all your thoughts could focus on was the comfort that you felt being in the arms of your boyfriend.
You felt Ferris chuckle one last time, though you had a sneaking suspicion that it wasn’t the movie he was laughing at. Your breathing deepened, and the last thing you remember was his lips brushing against your forehead, his melodic voice humming a soft, “I love you” in your ears.
You reminded yourself to apologize for making him watch the movie alone later.

Imagine: Having a scary movies marathon with Ferris, Cameron and Sloane
Not requested
_
“Okay” Ferris moved Sloane, who was comfortably resting over him, to pause the movie. “I’ve had enough”
“Why?” Cameron said, making you look up at him from your position leaning on his shoulder. He was grinning. “Are you scared, Ferris?”
His friend opened his mouth wide, gawking at him in absolutely outrage.
“No, I’m not scared!” Ferris replied, sulkily crossing his arms over his chest. “I’m bored! We’ve seen five movies in a row”
“He’s scared” Cameron playfully told you, making you laugh.
By this point, you were a little numb to the violence and jumpscares of the horror movies. It seemed, however, that Ferris was having a very different reaction. After all, it felt like he had reached his breaking point and refused to stand another second of them.
“I’m not scared” He repeated, more sternly this time. “I just don’t want Sloane to be”
“I’m fine” She calmly said, giving a little shrug. Her boyfriend rolled his eyes.
It was funny that out of the four of you, the least likely to get frightened with horror movies actually got scared. But Ferris just shook his head and turned the TV off, not putting up with your teasing.

Anything For You: Ferris Bueller x Reader
Tumblr media
(Kinda my gif??? Idk I found it online but I originally posted it on here)
Requested by anonymous:  ferris bueller realizing he loves the reader maybe?
I’m so sorry it took such a long time to post another imagine! I hope you guys enjoy it :’)
Warning: Swearing
“Adams?” “Here.”
“Adamley?” “Here!”
“Adamowski?” A rather lazy hand was raised, indicating the student’s presence.
“Adamson?” “Here.”
“Adler?” The response was delayed by a couple of seconds. “Here.”
“Anderson?” Another delayed response. “Anderson?” “Here!”
“Bueller?”
Nothing. You quickly scanned the room, he wasn’t there. You hadn’t even noticed that he didn’t walk in that morning. You looked at Cameron and he shrugged. Apparently he didn’t know what Ferris was up to or where he was. “Bueller?” Crickets. “Bueller?” Dead silence. “Bueller?” The teacher’s monotonous voice began to sound like a broken record player.
You cleared your throat as you tried impersonating the missing troublemaker, letting out a low “Here.” The class snickered, causing your teacher to silence everyone. Turning to you, he huffed.
“L/n, I know you and Bueller are best friends but you really don’t have to cover for him in his absence. You’ll get your turn in the roll call later, don’t get too excited,” He went on with checking the attendance. You stubbornly sank into your seat, eyeing the vacant one next to you where Ferris was usually sat. What kind of trouble do you have in mind this time?
--------
Recess rolled in and you were standing at the phone booth just outside of your school. You dialed Ferris’ home number and waited for him to pick up. He was probably out on another one of his spontaneous adventures.
“Hello?” His voice was nasally,  he was always good at playing sick.
“Oh, cut the crap. Where the hell are you, idiot? This is your tenth absence this semester, you said you didn’t wanna miss school after last time! No wonder your grades are shit! What are you up to now?” You scolded. Skipping class to hang out and be teenagers was fun the first few times. However as it became a habit of Ferris, you wished he could take school more seriously.
“Y/n, calm down. First of all, I could easily hack into the school’s computer system and change my grades,” He coughed. “Second, I’m not kidding this time. I’m actually sick.” You scoffed, muttering a small “yeah right.”
Of course, you found it hard to believe. You’ve known Ferris Bueller since you were ten. And you knew that it took a lot for him to be ill.
“Why would I ever lie to you? I’m serious,” he deadpanned. You sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose. “Alright, I’ll bring today’s assignments for you and I’ll visit you as soon as class ends.” You could practically hear him smile through the phone as he spoke. “Thanks, Y/n. You’re the best.” You bid goodbye as he did the same, both of you putting down the phone.
Well, what do you know. For the first time in a long time, Ferris Bueller was sick.
--------
You dropped your bike right in front of the Buellers residence and sprinted to the back door. You lifted the rug and took the spare key that Katie Bueller left in case of emergencies or whenever you wanted to visit. You were always welcome. Unlocking the door, you bolted up the steps and stopped in front of the door to your best friend’s room..
“Ferris, you better not be naked. I’m coming in.”
“Hi, Y/n.” The sight was beyond pitiful: The floor was littered with used tissues. Bottles of medicine decorated his dresser. And on the bed was a very pale boy, sniffling and shivering still even under the many layers of blankets he was covered in. Oh, Ferris.
“You look like shit.” He let out a weak chuckle. “It’s nice seeing you too,” he quipped. You rolled your eyes at his untimely use of sarcasm and pressed the back of your hand to his forehead.
“Jesus, you’re practically steaming,” You commented, getting up to fetch him an ice pack to hopefully lower his temperature. “I’m flattered, Y/n. I really am. But can you keep it in your pants until after I get well?” You were used to his foul-mouthed jokes by now. “Very funny, loser. Now put this on your forehead,” You handed him the cold material and he obeyed, hissing as it touched his skin.
“Oh, right! I got the homework for you,” you told him, getting your bag and pulling out his books and assessment sheets and laying them on his desk. “I also wrote an extra copy of the notes you missed,” You handed him the pages that you’ve ripped from your notebook where the duplicates were. His eyes, teary from his cold, widened.
“Wha-? But I just asked for you to get today’s assignments! You didn’t have to go an extra mile with taking my notes for me!” He took the papers gratefully, flipping through them. “I’m convinced you’re my guardian angel or some shit! Thank you so much!”
“Anything for you.”
It was true. You’d gladly and endlessly do anything for him.
You’ve liked Ferris since you first covered for him in fifth grade.
Young Ferris thought it’d be a good idea to chuck a bouncy ball at Mrs. Ritland, the math teacher you had all despised. Believe it or not, he was an even bigger idiot back when you were ten. She was writing on the chalkboard, back turned to you; the perfect time to strike. The small toy hit the poor lady’s nape. The classroom was suddenly filled with gasps and the sound of laughter. She exclaimed in pain, rage-filled eyes darting from student to student. Before she could even question which delinquent threw the damned thing, you stood up and raised your hand.
“I did it, Mrs. Ritland!”
Ferris was quick to defend you, chucking another bouncy ball at the woman. “If you even think of punishing her, you’ll have to go through me!”
You were both given a month’s detention and have been inseparable ever since.
“I’m dying,” He croaked, snapping you out of your daydream.
“Oh, please. You’re not dying. You just can’t think of anything good to do!” You quoted him. “Didn’t you say that yourself?”
He groaned, “Yes, I did say that myself. But now isn’t the time. I’m really not feeling well, Y/n.”
“Nonsense! It helped Cameron last time, he felt great afterwards.” You got off the bed, trying to pull him up with you. Instead, he snuggled deeper into the covers. “Aww, come on! Get up on your feet, mister! What do you feel like doing today? The weather’s lovely! Maybe we can go swimming? Or perhaps you’d like to go to the arcade? Ooh, street food sounds good! Just tell me where you wanna go, and I’ll take you there!” You coaxed excitedly.
“As much as I love our adventures, I was thinking maybe we could just stay here? You know, we could talk for a while and we can take a nap together just like when we were kids. And when I’m feeling better, we could watch a movie,” Ferris spoke softly, sniffling right after. You hummed, considering his offer.
“You can stay here and rest. I can get us some corn dogs from the stand nearby, I’ll be quick I promi-”
“No, no, you missed my point,” he shook his head, grinning at your stubbornness. “I meant can you stay? We don’t have to go anywhere. I enjoy your company, it’s more than enough,” He pulled the blankets to his nose, hiding his bashful smile as well as his growing blush. You were sure you would have melted then and there.
“Sure thing. Ferris.” You adored this boy.
It had been an hour since you’d agreed to stay in with Ferris and you were seated at his desk, tutoring him about trigonometric functions, a lesson he missed that day. He was reading the notes on the topic, following along with what you were saying. “Okay, I found this to be quite easy. So, we start off with the basics: sine, cosine, and tangent-”
At least, that’s what it looked like.
At first glance, it seemed as though he was actually studying. But what you didn’t know was that he had been admiring your handwriting and your little doodles on the blank spaces of the paper.
See, Ferris liked you. He’s liked you since forever ago. He remembered the moment so vividly, as if it only happened yesterday.
“I did it, Mrs. Ritland!”
He looked at you and thought, “Wow, that is the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.” Obviously, he couldn’t let a pretty girl such as you take the blame for what a stupid boy such as him had done. It just wasn’t fair to you. So he immediately admitted that it was his fault, as he should.
He felt guilty that you had to get wrapped up in this mess and had to suffer the consequences. To make up for it, every time you had detention, he would take you to secret hideouts around the school. That two months of running around school trying not to get caught marked your first of soon-to-be-many adventures.
And now here you were, almost eight years later, helping him solve for x. His eyes softened at how into it you were while teaching him. You were even more beautiful than when you were a kid, just when his younger self thought you couldn’t get any more stunning.
He thought about how you were kind enough to fill him in on everything he’d missed; how as soon as class was dismissed, you biked as quickly as you could just to take care of him. You could have easily ditched him to go out and get those corn dogs you’ve been craving; or you could have easily gone out for a walk since, according to you, “the weather’s lovely.”
But you didn’t.
You stayed.
The mere thought of that, along with everything about you, caused his heart to pound out of his chest.
I think I’m in love with her. Fuck that. I am in love with her.
“...And that explains why sine 90° is equivalent to 1. What the-? Ferris Bueller, are you even listening?” You waved a hand in front of his face, still not responding. He looked as if his mind was somewhere completely different. “Hello? Earth to Ferris?” He blinked a few times, shaking his head. He whispered something you didn’t quite catch. “What?” He whispered again. “I can’t hear you, pal. Speak up.”
“I love you. There, I said it.” You were at a loss for words as your eyes met. Both of you progressively got redder by the second.
“What in the right mind made you say that?” Confusion was evident in your voice, as well as nervousness.
“I’ve loved you for a while now and when you dropped everything to visit me today, I realized how deep I’ve fallen,” Ferris bashfully stated. He could be cheesy at times but you thought it was cute.
“Woah, you are such a fucking sap,” You both burst into laughter, him scoffing and clutching his chest in mock offense. “I love you too, you dingus.”
His heart fluttered as you said it. The mix of his sickness and your confession made him lightheaded. You plopped down on his bed, hugging him tightly. “Wait, what are you doing? You’re too close, I’m gonna get you sick!” He asked as you kissed his nose.
You got under the covers with him, rolling your eyes, “You think I still care? I fucking love you for Christ’s sake!” You made him laugh at that. “How about that nap you suggested earlier, hmm?”
He closed his eyes, the biggest grin still plastered on his face. “She loves me,” being the last thought in his head before contently falling asleep.

Not Our Last | Ferris Bueller
for anon! based on the song “our last summer” by ABBA as requested. hope this is okay :)
y’all know that i am a small child with no travel experience so please just ignore anything geographically incorrect. forgive me for never having been to Paris. I am broke and also 4 years old.
warnings : none
“I can’t believe I let you two drag me along on this crazy expensive date,” Cameron huffed, shielding his eyes against the sun as we stepped out of the airport.
Ferris stared at his best friend with wide eyes, his jaw slacking. “Cameron, we’re in Paris. Why the hell are you complaining?” he asked, clearly baffled by the boy’s reaction.
I tightened my grip on Ferris’s hand, giving Cam a teasing smile. “Seriously man. It’s not every day you get to drop everything and fly to Europe,” I pointed out, though the whole “drop everything” portion wasn’t at all truthful. My grandparents were fairly wealthy, and they had planned a special graduation trip for every single one of us grandkids. Meticulous planning went into mine. First there was the trouble of deciding where I really wanted to go, and then there was the trouble of convincing them to allow me to bring Ferris and Cam along, rather than only bringing one. They made an exception for me and bought the extra ticket, purely because I had finished my senior year with a 4.0.
Cameron let out an annoyed grunt, jostling his backpack higher up onto his back. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to be in Paris,” he began, giving Ferris and I a bored look, “I just don’t particularly enjoy third wheeling for two weeks straight.”
I was going to give Cam some sort of reassurance, but Ferris gave me a mischievous smile before I could say anything. He reached over and took my suitcase handle from my hand, pulling it in front of him. He proceeded to move his own beside it, leaving them in front of Cameron. The taller boy gave his best friend a quizzical look, causing Ferris to shrug nonchalantly. “You don’t want to third wheel? That’s fine. You go to the hotel, Y/N and I are gonna go on an adventure.”
I opened my mouth to protest in Cameron’s favor, but my complaints fell on deaf ears. Ferris was already eagerly tugging me in one direction, leaving Cameron shouting after us. The moment we were far enough away, I stopped in my tracks, glaring at my boyfriend. “Two minutes. You couldn’t go two minutes without making trouble,” I said crossly, rolling my eyes at his cheeky smile. “Ferris, we’re going back and getting Cam.”
“Nope, no we are not,” he immediately refuted, linking his arm with mine. When I didn’t move, he gave me a soft, pleading look. He nodded ahead of us. “The Seine is right here. Humor me?” he practically begged, tugging on my arm like a small child.
I was silent for a moment before I let out a sigh, my shoulders relaxing. I gave him a small, tired smile which he took as his green light. With the giddiness of a school girl, he kissed my cheek excitedly and resumed his jaunt down the road.
A comfortable silence washed over us as we strolled along the paved roads parallel to the river, the setting sun a peaceful backlight on our walk. At some point Ferris had let go of my arm, instead lacing his fingers with mine. He swung our intertwined hands as we walked, his eyes bouncing around as he took in all of the scenery. We were in Paris. I knew I should’ve been admiring the view, but I just couldn’t stop looking at him.
“How does it feel to be an official adult?” Ferris asked abruptly, his soft voice reminiscent of a song I just never tired of. He was clearly alluding to my recent birthday, as well as our graduation. I knew I should’ve been excited to be legal and free, but I was terrified. I didn’t want things to change. I didn’t want to lose him.
I let out a ragged breath, tears immediately beginning to pool in my eyes. I sniffled quietly before attempting to respond. “It’s weird,” I murmured, trying my hardest to keep my voice stable. “I don’t know if I’m ready.”
Noticing the verklempt tone of voice I had, Ferris paused, his grip on my hand tightening. He peered down at my watery eyes with concern. “What’s wrong? I didn’t mean to make you cry,” he fretted regretfully, his handsome face creased apologetically.
I shook my head slightly, hoping I could keep it together. “It’s not your fault, Ferris. I’m just...” I took a deep breath, internally kicking myself as I felt a stray tear spill down my cheek. I sniffled again, “I’m scared.”
“Hey hey hey,” he cooed softly, reaching down to wipe my tear with his thumb. He held my face in his hand, staring down at me lovingly. “What are you scared of?”
“Everything,” I whispered, the single word coming out as more of a sob than anything else. I drew in a shaky breath. “I don’t want things to change, Ferris. What if this is our last summer together? What if we don’t even realize when we have our last kiss? What if-”
Ferris shushed me with a small kiss, immediately pulling back to wrap his arms around me. I buried my face in his chest as he rubbed my back soothingly. “It’s not the last anything, Y/N. I promise,” he murmured, his hold tightening. I balled his shirt up in my fists, clinging to him as though he would disappeared if I let go. I felt him kiss the crown of my head delicately. “I’m not going anywhere. You know that. Nothing is ending.”
His promises eased my nerves, and I found my composition returning. I pulled away from his chest, using my own hands to wipe my tears. I looked up at him, my heart fluttering at just the mere sight of him. “I love you,” I whispered gently.
A smile spread across his lips as he kissed my forehead. “Je t’aime” he responded softly, causing me to giggle quietly. I gave him a humored look, causing him to shrug sheepishly. “When in Rome...”
“We aren’t in Rome, Ferris,” I corrected sarcastically, clearing understanding the saying but pouncing on the opportunity to tease him.
He rolled his eyes before completely ignoring my joke, instead choosing to press a lingering kiss against my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me as his kiss remained slow and soft. After what felt like far too long, yet still not long enough, I pulled my head away from him. “We should go find Cameron,” I pointed out suddenly, realizing that we hadn’t even considered our best friend.
Ferris seemed to contemplate that for a moment before shaking his head, a cheeky grin appearing on his face. “Cam’s big. He can take care of himself,” he promised.
And just like that, his lips were on mine once more, and all worries I could’ve possibly had faded away.

You’re Staring | Ferris Bueller
for a very very lovely anon. i’m p sure every single person that follows this blog is soft for ferris.  i am not an exception.
also i’m so sorry but i’m really just not at all consistent with the POV of my imagines. y’all are gonna just have to hang in there bc sometimes it’s “you” and sometimes it’s “i” and i can’t decide what i like better
warnings : nonezies
I was extremely focused on my homework -- so much so, that I hardly noticed my boyfriend sit down across from me. When I heard his tapping fingers, I looked up for a short moment, offering him a soft smile. “Hi Ferris,” I murmured happily before turning back to the math equations in front of me.
I heard him chuckle. “You know that normal people eat at lunch, right?” he teased as he set his backpack down on the chair beside him.
I had a habit of deferring to the library during lunches. There wasn’t much to it, really, I just wasn’t a fan of extremely loud situations, and the cafeteria was a zoo. Oftentimes a friend or two joined me in my hideaway, or sometimes Cam came in just to escape Ferris. And then, of course, there were times that Ferris occupied the seat across from me. Obviously, this was one of those times.
“Very funny, love,” I muttered in slight frustration, flipping my pencil to erase the mistake I had just made. I had made that mistake a solid eight times now, and it was getting tiresome.
Noticing how focused I was on my work, Ferris didn’t say anything else. I was well-aware of his gaze on my face, but I chose to ignore it for quite some time. I figured he’d get bored soon enough. But he didn’t. As I approached the last problem on my paper, my resolve dwindled. I looked up and met his eyes, nearly melting at the smile that appeared on his lips. I quirked a brow, “You’re staring.”
He nodded, his smile unwavering. “I absolutely am,” he agreed without hesitation. A look of adoration gleamed in his eyes, and I nearly questioned it. We had this dispute time and time again. I was constantly wondering what it was that he liked so much about me. I figured he could do much better, but he never entertained the idea. He was just smitten, and nothing I said or did changed that.
Not that I really wanted to. It was just hard to believe that Ferris freaking Bueller had settled for me.
“I can’t imagine what you could possibly be staring at,” I muttered, more to myself than to him. However, he had very clearly heard it, and a distressed look crossed his face.
His frowned, his eyebrows scrunching together. “Are we going to do this again? Right now? Am I about to list every single thing that I love about you?” His barrage of questions was accompanied by a very serious look. It would be easy to think that he was joking, but I knew better than that. He would’ve spent the rest of the day complimenting me, had I let him.
I shook my head at him, a small smile on my lips. “My argument is always the same,” I reminded him with a shrug.
“Yeah,” he agreed, giving me a pointed look, “and it’s always wrong.”
I turned back to my work, though I didn’t get very far into the problem before I was distracted again. “Ferris,” I said evenly, looking up at my still-staring boyfriend, “I’m literally not doing anything. Not a single thing. You don’t need to stare.”
He shook his head stubbornly, a grin on his face. “You are literally breathtaking,” he insisted, causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach. When I gave him a dry look, his gaze hardened. “Y/N, if you don’t stop denying it, I will make a scene. Right here, right now. I’m talking major PDA. I will get both of us banned from this library,” he threatened. Again, I was certain that he was not joking.
“You’re ridiculous,” I said exasperatedly. He gave me a sly smirk and began to stand from his chair, but I quickly grabbed his arm, pushing him back down. “Okay, you win. I don’t understand it, but I accept it,” I caved, pleading him to sit still with my eyes.
A triumphant smile appeared in place of his smirk and he leaned over the table to kiss my lips briefly. I felt a slight blush creep up my neck, a reaction I still had to every single one of his kisses, regardless of the amount of time we’d been dating. He just always had that effect on me. I raised my eyebrows, “Can I please finish my homework now? And will you please stop distracting me?”
He shrugged. “What can I say? I have an eye for art,” he flirted easily, giving me a wink.
I glared at him scornfully. “Ferris,” I deadpanned, my grip tightening around my pencil.
He raised his hands defensively. “Sorry! Sorry. But yes, hurry up and finish your homework so I can kiss you more and you won’t yell at me,” he answered with a cheeky grin.
I rolled my eyes. “Remind me again why I put up with you?” I asked rhetorically, giving him a small, humored smile.
“Because you love me,” he said with confidence. His eyes crinkled happily at the statement, and I couldn’t help but smile wider. The way my heart fluttered just from witnessing his happiness clarified that what he said was definitely the truth.
I let out an exaggerated sigh. “Well, you’ve got me there,” I admitted with a smile.
“Lucky for you, I happen to love you even more,” he beamed, reaching over to hold my free hand in his. In a smooth motion, he brought it to his lips, pressing a soft kiss against my knuckles.
I smiled lovingly at him. “I certainly am lucky,” I agreed, warmth filling my entire body when I noticed the genuine happiness that such a simple sentence filled him with. I delicately pulled my hand from his grip to use it to steady my paper. I was about to focus back on my work when I sent him one last glare through my lashes.
“Now, stop staring.”
