cross country started today. here are several scenarios i imagined myself in to force myself to run during the “i am not built to run three miles on the fly so i’m going to speedwalk” phase

-my father is going to get hit by a car in the intersection ahead and i am as cool as rose tyler (this was perfect for surges)

-there is a slithereen behind me and i am so fucked

-If i don’t run fast enough the tardis (a cylindrical bin) will fucking leave

i am going to leave my social status to the imagination.

Do you think there’s correlations between favorite Green Lantern, favorite Robin, favorite ninja turtle, and Hogwarts House?

I imagine there is. That’s a lot of variables to try to create a correlation coefficient, but I bet there would be a couple features that would stand out as statistically significant. Although with the number of Robins and Green Lanterns you would need a pretty big sample to get reliable results.

Who do you image with correlate with whom?

Myself: it’s Guy, Dick, Michaelanglo and Slithereen... I might be an outlier.

my writing - dota - fictober day 8

"Do you remember?" Slithice stood next to Slardar, staring at the river in front of them. Nothing of it resembled the ocean yet it was enough to make her think about days long past. “When we were still living among our kind, the beauty of the landscape underneath the surface, the coolness and the quiet.” She missed her home terribly yet she couldn't return.

For Slardar it was different. He hadn't been banished.

He made an uncommitted sound that Slithice chose to interpret as a 'yes'. Of course he remembered their home, how could he ever forget it. How could Slithice ever forget it.

They stood so close, she felt him shift beside her as he turned his head. Yet he didn't talk. He rarely did but his gaze was a weight on her shoulders. They weren't of one kind any more, he a slithereen guard, she an outcast without honour. Their goal was still the same, though: to protect the slithereen and their treasures.

“Stop whining. You were the greatest of the slithereen guard yet you failed, you were banished rightfully.”

Slithice almost winced. It was the truth but even after all these years it hurt to hear it. Probably because she had been trying to reclaim her honour since the first minute she had been away from the Deep Ones, but she hadn't been able to. Neither tricks nor tactics had gained her anything.

At least Slardar didn't avoid her and she could be close to him. She clung to this tiny piece of home and because she didn't want to annoy him lest he leave, she nodded.

The wind came from the direction of the water, but the smell was wrong. Slithice suppressed the sigh that was stuck in her throat. Instead she turned away from the water that brought too many painful memories. “I have to keep going. Do you want to accompany me for a while?”

Slardar's answer was just a rumbling sound in his chest but Slithice was used to it by now. She didn't mind his usual silence. To have him close was enough to make her feel less lonely, even to make her smile.

“I won't help you, not even when you get killed.”

“I know that. If I am not able to restore my honour on my own then I don't deserve any honour at all.” To have his company was nice nonetheless. She didn't say that but Slardar didn't leave, either. And maybe his presence did help her, if only to stay sane, to remain hopeful, to keep looking forward and to try again and again, no matter how futile it appeared to be.

Until Slardar was the one person she looked at when she was too sad and desperate. He never actively helped her but he was always there, like an anchor she could hold onto when she would've been swept away by emotions otherwise.

Slithice was eternally grateful for that. But in the end they both served the slithereen and her return was important. Slardar stood by her side as much as he was possible to without interfering but when she returned to the Deep Ones, he disappeared.

And though Slithice was back home, suddenly she felt more lonely than she had during the weeks and months Slardar had been by her side on the surface.

Last Movie I Watched: The Electric Piper- it’s one of those ‘lost media’ films that I saw on a list by blameitonjorge on YouTube :3

It perked my interest because it was the only one of the list that wasn’t really a part of a long-running series

It’s decent, I guess! Kinda like a more child-friendly Footloose in  a sense and, of course, based on the story of the Pied Piper

When did I create this blog: September 2013! So the blog is, what, 4 years old now? 

Why I choose my URL: Well originally it was shivuthewolf! Yes, for some reason people are surprised to find out Shivu was also the name of my fursona- and is still the name of my fursona! (come on guys, it’s right there in Shivu’s profile)

(Essentially there are two Shivus- the wolf, and the human. Why? Because I don’t see the point in making two different characters who are going to be exactly the same in personality anyway!)

I changed it because the blog was originally going to be an art blog related to my comic but I changed my mind! I thought Plasmachaos was the name of one of the Team Plasma themed TCG decks, but upon looking it up it’s not? 

So I’m not sure where it came from!

Gender: Male.

Hogwards House: I don’t know? I haven’t read Harry Potter though I’ve seen the first three movies numerous times (mum loves them)

I think Slithereen is the bad one right? So... The good one?

Wanna know the meaning behind the names? Of course you do!

Missy- Name of one my sister’s cats (she now lives in Canada- the cat I mean!) and also makes sense cos of the Pokemon’s name

Pedro- Name of the red-crested cardinal in the film Rio (who looks similar to the bird Pikipek is based on)

Diesel- as its colours are based on oil spillages 

Zero- I believe someone drew a picture making connections between Popplio and Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas? :3 That’s why!

Cheetah- Based on the electric cheetah-wolf of the same name from Arevn92′s comic Chakra

Firestorm- a typo from the book series Warrior Cats in which a character is supposed to be named Firestar

Favourite Colour: I really liked bright colours! Blue and yellow are my favourites but you add red to that you got a raINBOW MY DUDES

Favorite Smell: I like a lot of sweet smells? You know, vanilla, chocolate, gingerbread, coffee (I guess it’s subjective on whether or not that’s sweet but still)

But there are a few smells that bring back memories for me! Musty smells remind me of my grandparent’s house (before we moved in!) and always gives me a sense of adventure as it’s how our attic generally smells (and if you know me, you know my attic is a great source of adventure)

That and stew (or just onions and meat being cooked) always reminds me of just home! x3

Pets: Two fuzzy noodles (ferrets) but if you want to get technical as a family we own two dogs and four cats (two extra if you count my sister’s cats)

Wake Up: Generally 8am- my aforementioned brother has severe autism and goes to a day centre and as I’m his sole carer I’m the one to get him ready in the mornings :3

I know I’ve met a few members of the Belfast Giants (the ice hockey team who plays here, they often visit the cafe) and I didn’t know who they were but one of them mentioned they played ice hockey and one of my co-workers slung his arm over my shoulder and goes, “Hey I’ll bet this guy here could take you on!” Me, again not realising these guys were professionals, agreed and proudly stated I could beat all three of them in a game Only after did I realise who they were but they seemed to find it funny! XD

Smile or Eyes: I just got a weird image of like nothing but a mouth and eyes and I’m scared ;w; Erghh I think eyes? Frequently I can tell a lot about someone by their eyes!

Van - Dota 2 - Slark - 25 Kills - You Never Know When Shadow Intruder Comes

Slark the Nightcrawler is a melee agility hero that utilises his abilities to spring onto enemy heroes and slip out unhindered. He is a very mobile ganker, but remains attribute-wise below most other carries unless he is able to steal away attributes with his abilities. Once he does, though, only a few heroes can hope to be as fearsome as the Nightcrawler - extremely mobile to the point of ever-presence, his strikes only hitting harder and faster.

Slark can quickly leap forward onto enemies with Pounce to leash them and bind them from escaping. His Dark Pact releases a delayed purge that breaks even the most powerful disables. This gives him one of the most flexible abilities to start and end fights in the game. He is also capable of stealing attributes by attacking his victim to boost his own attack damage temporarily with Essence Shift which can rapidly shift engagements in his favor, even when merely performing hit-and-run maneuvers. Slark's ultimate, Shadow Dance, allows him to remain unseen even while attacking for a short duration and allows him to move quicker when not under the watch of enemy eyes to strike in and out of enemy ranks unhindered.

Little known to the inhabitants of the dry world, Dark Reef is a sunken prison where the worst of the sea-breed are sent for crimes against their fellows. It is a razor barbed warren full of murderous slithereen, treacherous Deep Ones, and sociopathic meranths. In this dim labyrinth, patrolled by eels and guarded by enormous anemones, only the vicious survive. Pitched into Dark Reef for crimes unknown, Slark spent half a lifetime without kin or kindness, trusting no one, surviving through a combination of stealth and ruthlessness, keeping his thoughts and his plans to himself. When the infamous Dark Reef Dozen plotted their ill-fated breakout, they kept their plans a perfect secret, murdering anyone who could have put the pieces together--but somehow Slark discovered their scheme and made a place for himself in it. Ten of the Dozen died in the escape attempt, and two were captured, hauled back to Dark Reef, then executed for the entertainment of their fellow inmates. But Slark, the unsung thirteenth, used the commotion as cover and slipped away, never to be caught. Now a furtive resident of the carnivorous mangrove scrub that grips the southern reach of Shadeshore, Slark remains the only successful escapee from Dark Reef.

I've wanted to do a redesign of Naga Siren for ages now. I love her, but it always makes me laugh that you have fish people that actually look like fish/amphibians (Slark, Slardar, Tidehunter), and then Naga is literally a woman's head and torso with fins. So now she looks more like a fish. HURRAH.

Inspired by anjael, whose own Naga redesign gives me life.
