mass effect ttrpg chara. presently on his pilgrimage, and is a little stressed out about the whole thing. the resource strain of his abilities makes him feel pretty pressured. quite friendly, but otherwise a bit skittish. best summarized by this post:

Thinking about that time when a popular artist was a prick to me personally (claimed that I "baited" them for a conflict when all I did was pointing out something in lore contradicting their claim, without any rudeness or condescension, and basically told me to go hang out with other autists instead of bothering them) but the reason I blocked them was not that, it was the fact that they've admitted on not even caring about the source material and just using scraps from it to do their own thing. Priorities hfngkfngj

i dont think i ever shared this here but i actually familial f/o mono from li.ttle. nightmares and LN resurfaced on my feed again and im just,,,, sniiff.... my booyyy.... monoooo 🥹 there's just something so charming about this little boy that makes me wanna protect him wiwiwi (and if you know what happens throughout the story, its heartbreaking)

he's just a good kid, really sweet, which i unfortunately cannot say the same with six... maybe he's just a refresher from the things i witnessed from six in her game 😔😔

#i had conceptualized an oc thats going to be mono's mom but i just couldn't go along with the macabre style but it's right in my head #she's just a mom who's constantly searching for him. she's got the lady dimetrescu aura especially with her hat hiding her face #which is a nice parallel to mono hiding his face in general #she's basically this weeping dame that would ask if you've seen her little boy #spoiler alert. if she ever met mono. she wouldn't know. he's hiding his face. but she's looking for thin man however #and if you know who thin man is.... then... well. :]#but without getting in too deep in the lore. lets just throw mono and the weeping dame next to each other so we know they're family #ignores the angst :]]]#hehehehe #in my head she's a skinny lady with a slight hour glass figure but it's not that much - yzma kinda figure. her big hat is iconic to me #~ rambling #aaough but really really. i care for mono a lot #did you know? little nightmares and idv had a crossover?#axe boy was assigned to mono!#little girl/kid alice was assigned to six :3

Tw death, gore, vomit, occuring nightmares

Sleeping. It was always a thing Ezra had avoided. After all, sleeping always brought the nightmares. This time, they couldn't avoid sleeping though. They had literally exhausted themself to the point of exhaustion. Now, the nightmares began just as they always did.

Ezra sat up in that same dark room, and panic instantly took over them. Not this again, they hated this damn dream. They stood up as if they were a puppet on a string and walked over to the door in the room. "Don't open the door don't open the door don't open the door-"

Thoughts repeated like a mantra, but they still couldn't help but twist the knob to the door. And the sight was just as horrible as it was ever in their dreams. Ezra's mother laying on the kitchen floor, motionless and pale. Her eyes were glazed over and glassy, and there was so much blood. Too much blood for Ezra to handle. They ran over to the sink to throw up.

Their mother was dead. There was nothing anyone could do now. Her heart had been ripped from her chest by whoever the hell had dismembered her. Ezra screamed until their throat hurt, until their father and sister came running in. "Who did this?" Her father cried out, voice angry and filled with hate and all the rage and anger a man like him could hold.

The police were called, the sirens wailing and filling the house with red and blue light. Police grabbed Ezra by the arm from where they were kneeled at their mother's side. Now they were out on the porch, wrapped in a coat. When they looked down at their hands, blood stained them. When had that gotten there.

Ezra tried and tried to wipe the blood off, but it wouldn't leave their hands. Your fault your fault your fault, you couldn't save her. Their mind repeated horrible thoughts over and over, the image of their mother burned into their brain. In that moment, they wished that they had the power to slip into the shadows, become nothing at the moment and just disappear.

But they couldn't, so they just stayed sitting there while there was on-going investigations inside the house. And the dream plays over, and over, and over again. It's only when Ezra wakes up that they notice tears had stained their cheeks.
