hmm okay well. the van thing makes sense once u meet the boy and see that he is in the exact same situation ian was in in s4. but they make no effort to explain WHY he chose to do such a drastic thing like maybe if he'd been showing signs of intense reactions to relating to these kids throughout the entire season and maybe if we actually knew that he saw a lot of himself in these struggling kids then maybe it would be better. but instead all we got was him dumping water on fiona and then preaching sermons to a church like there was no CONNECTION or DEPTH. god.
