thinking about dinomas instead of the many other things i need to do

Akari the T-rex, and her three Pteranodon siblings, Dawn, Barry, and Lucas, love going on the Dinosaur train pretty much every day.

Ingo and Emmet basically run a sort of... Sociology/physiology class, where the kiddos observe different dinosaurs and try to figure out why/how they do things ("i have a hypothesis!" as Buddy says in the show)

Ingo and Emmet have friends! like Skyla the microraptor, or Elesa the Dromiceiomimus!

pretty much everyone knows about Ingo and Emmet and thier love for battles. there are specific cars on the train to house small ones, but mostly its just done near the Train station. many dinosaurs try to test their strength against the twins.

Troodons are verrry smart! so once Ingo and Emmet meet a species they've never met before, and battle them, they immediately try to figure out an effective way to take them down (again, these are all friendly battles. its enrichment, if you will)

basically Ingo and Emmet can tag team pretty much anyone. if they've met the same species before.

so, the Dino train can travel thorough time, but there are some places, if the gate is not big enough, the the train cannot go through

that, however, does not mean a dinosaur cant go through =]

so basically Ingo doesn't remember how to leave the timezone he fell in (somewhere in the Pleistocene period) and Emmet cant get there bc the time tunnels (apparently that's what they are called in the show) are too small.

pearl clan, a group of Scimitar Cat (kinda like the saber tooth/Smilodon but their teeth are Much smaller.) take Ingo in after their Lady Sneasler carries him over

no one really knows what the heck ingo is, but they let him be warden of Sneasler. both clans are actually mammals in this one, with diamond clan being Beringian lions, (who, fun fact, might have been completely maneless! which is confusing considering the cold climate, but they might have been completely covered in thick fur...)

ingo chills there for a long while, until suddenly, out of the tiny time Tunnels (or space time distortions, as the Clans call them) a T-Rex appears. the group of Tigers called the Galaxy Team take her in and they occasionally meet up with the other clans.

a few days after Akari lands in the future (ha!) a bolt hits the nobles and they go into a frenzy. Akari is sent to take care of it.

the nobles are!

Kleavor- giant beaver (cut down trees) (they were the size of bears today!)

Lilligant- Scrophulariaceae (its a flower. its kinda sentient. don't ask.)

Arcanine- Dire wolf (but a big one. for context- Dire wolves are around the same size as a yukon wolf, which is 85 cm (~2.8 ft) tall.)

Electrode- a rock. (it'd be funny)

Avalugg- the ever approaching glacial movements. (melts and gives fresh water- that's why its a noble)

and the ride pokemon just to cover all basses:

Wyrdeer- caribou

Ursaluna- giant short-faced bear (VERY big. one and a half times the size of a grizzly bear. which is. Big.)

Basculegion- Quinkana (a crocodylian! big guys!! in the time period they are in, around 6 m (20 ft) long!! there is even some debate of them being 9 m long!!)

Sneasler- giant ground sloth (up to 3 meters long!)

Braviary- Haast's eagle (one of the larges known true raptors- but with a strangle small wingspan for its size- possibly up to 3 m)

i am well aware these guys would not live in the same area btw- but im talking about a universe with dinosaurs that built a time traveling train and magic- so...

anyway, eventually Akari and Ingo meet, and both are like "i have seen you before!!" but other than that vague feeling they don't really remember. she and Ingo talk a lot, and eventually come to the realization that the space time distortions (time tunnels) could lead them home.

Ingo instinctively knows that they should Not just. walk in one, and instead they chip away the the surrounding rock of one until ingo feels its Just the right size. for what, he isn't sure. he does think that there should be some shiny metal things coming out of it... but he doesn't know where to get that kind of material, so he doesn't bother with it.

one night, they are woken up by a sheer whistle, and then a horrible crash. Ingo rushes out to the Time tunnel to see a train completely derailed in front of it, tipped over onto its side.

a white Troodon stumbles out of it.

Thinking about the other Galar Gym Leaders. Like there’s uniforms for every type, plus Klara and Avery pretty much confirmed the other Gyms are out there, so I brainstormed some concepts for them.

Electric: Athlete, but Like. He’s in a wheelchair, so he does wheelchair racing, and his Bolthund doubles as a service dog

Bug: Slightly delusional conspiracy theorist, babbled about aliens, has Orbeetle as an ace obvs.

Poison: Tired scientist type. Old man.

Psychic: Old English gentleman stereotype. See above. Both are looking for successors like Opal, so Avery and Klara can have slightly more relevancy.

Steel: Engineer, but they’re pissed at Rose. Hates Macro Cosmos for driving Peony away, cause he was their mentor/idol.

HISTORY

Skyla Reine was 1.5 years old when her father died and growing up without him had always left a scar that she could never truly explain to anyone. It left her feeling like a piece of her was missing and she knew there was never going to be a way to find that piece.

When Skyla was 3 her mother remarried.

By the time the blonde was 12, her mother and new step-father, whom she had never truly formed a connection with had given birth to two boys, Judah and Zachary

It wouldn’t be too long after the birth of her brother, Judah, that her step-dad began drinking excessively and began to beat on her mother. As a child herself there wasn’t much she could do to stop him and this only furthered the growing aggression and anger that was already building within her, the aggression of an untriggered wolf beginning to boil up as she began to come of age.

At 12, Skyla finally found her voice and began to defend her mother against her step-dad and even more so when she discovered that her mother was once more pregnant.

This led to her step-father turning his beatings onto Skyla and eventually her brothers until one day, just a few weeks after her 14th birthday, Skyla snapped and killed her stepfather, triggering her wolf gene which ultimately led to her attending the Salvatore Boarding School where she would meet none other than Hope Mikaelson.

Though she had been arrested for the murder, she was released due to the ample amounts of evidence that pointed towards both domestic and childhood abuse but found herself on the outs with her mother. Her brothers were the only reasons she ever returned home during the summers and breaks.

Her only childhood escape were the moments she had outside of her home with her best friends.

Oliver’s return from the dead had been a shocking revelation leaving a wake of devastation around Sky who struggled to work through the mix of emotions she was going through until her mother eventually packed her brother’s up and left town without a word, leaving Skyla to find out when she returned home from a day of work to any empty house just before the dome had come down.

HISTORY

Tanner was born to two human parents, Dalton and Victoria. 

He is the younger half-brother of Oliver Reine. 12 year age gap between the pair.

His father left Oliver’s mother a few years after Oliver was born, unable to handle the untriggered she-wolf’s rage any longer.

He was married 2 years before Tanner was born. 

While Tanner didn’t grow up with Oliver, he did eventually discover who he was around the age of 11 and found himself sneaking out to the bayou to watch the wolves. 

They met by a twist of fate, Tanner having gone out to the bayou during a full moon and witnessing the wolves transform into their human form in complete awe. He hadn’t intended on getting caught but there was no way around telling them who he was in fear of what they would do to him and so he admitted who he was, who his father was and ever since then he had spent years going out to the bayou on full moons just to get a few hours with his older brother.

At the age of 18, the curse on the wolves was broken, granting Tanner the ability to spend more time with his older brother whenever the pair actually got the chance to.

He hadn’t witnessed Oliver’s death and instead had found out through Jackson Kenner when Tanner had come around looking for Oliver.

The news of his brother’s death hit him hard sending him into a helpless spiral of anger which was only fueled 2 years later when his parents were killed by vampires sending him into a rage that he couldn’t seem to shake.

Thus began his hunting days. Throwing himself into perfecting his weaponry and his fighting skills, taking up kick boxing and knife fighting along the way. 

He began taking on different hunting jobs, his focus mainly on those of which he felt were the biggest threat to innocent lives.

Along the way he met Lexington Vane, a girl who, with her impressive skills and her sharp tongue, had quickly won him over.

It’s been years since he’s seen anyone he knew personally, having devoted himself to travelling and taking on hunting jobs.

Now he’s back in his hometown, the news of the resurrected having reached him and the influx of hunting jobs in the town leaving him no other choice.

About: Ella was adopted as a baby by Simon and Katherine. It was believed she was human until she shifted for the first time at the age of 13 years old. Ella is closest to her eldest brother, Zachery. She is a watercolor artist and has an online shop where she sells her work.
