Max guesses El must love the boundlessness of the sky. after being cooped up in the lab for her entire life, the first time she saw the stars must have been a wondrous moment. she pictures a skinny little girl taking her first step outside into freedom with eyes wide enough to reflect the entire universe.

actually, the first time El ever caught sight of the stars, it made her stomach sink. for her whole life, a little pinpoint of light meant that someone was watching, and the ceiling outside was studded with a million of them - endless and inescapable. she didn't know what they were, but they made her uneasy, and she hated to step out in the open where they could see her. she hid from them among the trees.

El understands now what stars are, and agrees that they're pretty, but she can't shake that memory. sometimes on wee summer mornings when she can't sleep, Max takes her outside to watch the dawn and its happy peachy clouds chase away the stars.

Not sure why the game felt the need to notify me that Vasso and Socks were going skygazing together, but the heads-up was appreciated I suppose. I'm glad they're getting along after their rocky start.

Speaking of getting along, Bella appears to have adopted Dire Wolf as her baby sister and spends a lot of time playing with her. It's very sweet.

While it was originally Blackdragon doing most of the work with our vehicles, lately it has been Laursen rushing to take the mantle of colony mechanic whenever car stuff needs to be done. I think he's just showing off to his husband, but his enthusiasm is endearing no matter what ulterior motives there might be.

Northern lights last night, if you use your imagination really hard, lol! But it was crystal clear out, so I know these aren’t clouds.

I’m gonna see them properly someday. Probably not while I’m still living in Virginia though. Unless I pay attention to the forecasts better and maybe drive out to the mountains.

The article tells - the gravitational waves can move by high velocity motion and can produce A Light Beam– that proves a massive motion energy is found in the solar system and this motion energy can produce a light beam (I claim the gravitational waves are produced by the planets motions energies and not by any gravitational field)

Hello! The mod to get the bubbles is called "Interaction Bubbles", and the cute romancey interactions are from a mod called "Romance on the Rim"!

Both of them are very fun mods, I love them. Interaction Bubbles makes it much easier to see and draw fun moments between my colonists, and Romance on the Rim gives every relationship a lot more depth and makes it easier to see each pawn's personality a bit more. I definitely think they're worthwhile mods for anyone looking for a story-rich playthrough.
