Blazemarble - The first part, “Blaze-”, is an homage to Spottedleaf's bravery, as well an homage towards Fireheart in general. The second part, “-marble” is a reference towards a marbled fur pattern, which is also referenced in their source's name; “Spottedleaf.”

Dappledheart - A name that not only keeps the appearance-based conventions that “Spottedleaf” has with it's prefix, but also pays homage to Firestar with its suffix, as he used to go by Fireheart.

Dawnspots - The suffix of this name is an homage to the prefix part of the name that Spottedleaf kept during her entire existence. The prefix of this name denotes her ascension to Star Clan and beyond.

Leafwhisker - A name that both pays homage to Spottedleaf and her mentor, Featherwhisker.

Hopestem - A name that not only insinuates that the bearer is where hope stems from, but also references plants with it’s suffix.

Lotuswish - A name that keeps the plant-like naming convention that Spottedleaf took on as a Medicine cat, but adds in a sense of kin euphoria through the “-wish” suffix and mystical concepts of rebirth and divinity, as that is what the Lotus flower is known for.

Mottlesight - A name that not only keeps the appearance-based conventions that “Spottedleaf” has with it's prefix, but also references the ability to receive prophetic visions with its suffix.

Orchidpool - A name that not only invokes the love, thoughtfulness and spiritual perfection symbology associated with orchids, but also works as an homage to one of the kits Spottedleaf guided, Leafpool, who's own name might also be an homage to Spottedleaf. This grants the name a cyclical quality that references the spiritual death and rebirth of all things.

Skybark - A name with nature vibes. It denotes someone who is both tough and spirituality oriented, but also has their "head-in-the-clouds," so to speak.

Whitesedge - Pronounced as “white sedge,” this name references a white underbelly (such as the one Spottedleaf has) and an interest in plants/nature.

Luke skybarker got adopted yesterday but somehow brinny spears did not! Tbh i don’t remember seeing her in the kennels and they had everyone out, including those on stray holds. they’re only preadopted in case their people come get them

Anyway sad part of all these adoptions… most of them will get new lame names 😩 i will refund caribbean’s and auntie anne’s fees to make them keep those names

Wanted to post a pic tonight but my little project isn’t ready yet SO I decided to draw some of my characters from  my old fanclan. (Miss them :’( )

Pictured above are Foxbriar (who was born with three ears and experiences seizures), Brookpoppy (born with no tail and breathing troubles), and Sagetooth (born with MANY toes and heart problems)

Foxbriar, Brookpoppy, Sagetooth and Smallkit were born from Clearlilac and a random loner. Clearlilac realized she was pregnant and tracked down the loner and killed him, her brother Speckleant had to help her clean up. Clearlilac gave birth to her kits but Smallkit was stillborn, after other story points occur, Clearlilac is killed and Speckleant and his brothers take over caring for them.

Growing up, the three are excluded from the clan and take care of each other. Their other uncles, Lightpounce and Pinecreek, watch over them but mostly Speckleant fiercely defends them from ignorant cats. They each take different fronts to the clan, Foxbriar takes up the aggressive role once he notices his littermates won’t (Sagetooth) or can’t (Brookpoppy), he thinks to bite first so others leave him and his family alone, while he’s actually a really nice and fun cat. Sagetooth thinks that the aggressive role won’t help in the long run, he is all work and no play and claims that treating those who are rude with politeness will make them feel uncomfortable. Brookpoppy thinks that if he just excludes himself that others will have no reason to mess with him, but that assumption is his downfall as cats bully him even more. With Foxbriar usually there to combat the others or Sagetooth to guide him away from the jeers, Brookpoppy never developed a way to defend himself and lacks the courage to.

Brookpoppy eventually runs away from the clan to an unknown place where he meets a loner by the name of Jack, Jack becomes his friend and is able to develop confidence on his own, while simultaneously helping Jack out of his own problems. Speckleant is devastated when he hears from a panicked Sagetooth and worried Foxbriar that Brookpoppy is missing, they look for him for moons but never find him, except for the ring of mushrooms where his scent disappeared, Speckleant visits that spot a lot after that. Foxbriar is angry and asks Sagetooth to run way to go find Brookpoppy but Sagetooth is able to convince him that it wouldn’t be what Brookpoppy wants. They force themselves to continue living in the clan, feeling more alone than ever.

Two cats are able to find an interest in Foxbriar and Sagetooth that isn’t founded in ill-intentions, Skybark and Thrushfall. Thrushfall is able to tear down Foxbriar’s walls and discover the true cat inside, they eventually become best friends. Skybark is able to do the same with Sagetooth and they become mates, having a litter of kits too. The day comes suddenly when Brookpoppy returns with a newfound confidence and a new clanmate. The three are elated to be reunited and Speckleant is proud to have his family complete once again.

However, their health problems do return with a vengeance and cut all three cats’ lives short. Sagetooth collapses on the forest floor during patrol one day and was never able to get up, dead before his kits were apprentices. Foxbriar experiences a seizure too great and causes him to lose his life. While Brookpoppy dies in his sleep after not getting enough oxygen.

(A sad ending, I know, sorry ;_;) Sorry for rambling so much! I just really miss these guys.

Jack:Let’s see what you guys chose for names for our new dog. *unfolds paper* Luke Skybarker. *laughs* That one was mine. *unfolds another paper* Doggie DeVito.

Dean:That one was mine. I was also going to write Dog-O so he could match me. We could be Dean-O and Dog-O.

Jack:*smiles* I like both. *pulls out another paper*Woofie Goldberg.

Cas:*laughs* I guess the three of us went with puns.That one was me.

Jack:I like that one too! Darn it these are all good. *unfolds paper*Benny. *confused* Benny?

Sam:That was me.

Dean:*to himself* I miss Benny.

Sam:*rolls eyes* Thats why I chose Benny. It’s a dogs name.

Cas:Sam that’s not nice.Benny was Deans good friend. Sure,he was in purgatory but he was awfully nice.

Evan has been keeping up with his meetings in the VA, refusing to tell anyone that he was going. While he knew that people would be proud if he told them, he decided to keep it quiet. He wanted to keep that to himself. While he still can’t ride the subway alone, he can sit around the group and share a few things about his service. That was enough. However, he was more excited to go today because of the service dog that he was going to get. Miracle named the small pug ‘Luke Skybarker’ and was holding him to his chest as they got back to Camp and made his way to the Akhlys cabin.
