AU where freshly knighted Obi Wan bugs the chancellors office because he might not be able to stop him privately meeting his young padawan but he can make sure nothing bad happens to Anakin. He waits in nearby areas with his friends (often with Quinlan) to rush in if skeevy sheev says anything even slightly dodgy. This means he can reduce the impact of palpatine manipulating Anakin and means that when he is told they need to find evidence of the chancellor being a sith lord, he conveniently already has a way to get evidence.

YAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! THAT LAST ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is this fun continuum among the prequel/original era Sith Lords with varying levels of obsession with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Let us call it the “Obe-session Scale”.
Darth Plageuis: True zero. Does not know who Obi-Wan Kenobi is.
Darth Sidious: The base value, the normality state if you will. Spends exactly as much time thinking about Kenobi as is fits with the degree to which Obi-Wan gets in the way of his intricate plans and how the man just won’t die already.
Darth Grandpa Tyranus: Definitive duty-hindering skew. Dooku’s interest in Obi-Wan clearly affects his duties, by him having to constant lament how Kenobi did not join him or praise him for breathing in a proper orderly manner. The cause of a harsh discrimination in treatment of his grandchildren.
Darth Maul Cockroach: The Kenobi obsession has reached life-defining levels here. It eats almost 3 decades of Maul’s life and leads him to his eventual death. But it also kept him alive once through sheer hatred, so I suppose it evens out? Nah, who am I kidding, that really only makes it worse 😂
Darth Vader: Built a Giant Bullshit Drama Castle on the spot where the Ginger Menace was last seen. Spends 20 years “secretly” hate-obsessing about him, after 10 of hero-worship and love. Cannot have a conversation with his son without bringing up Obi-Wan. Also survives something that should have killed him though the power of being really, really angry at Kenobi, but wins out over Maul due to passing his obsession on to his children.

Mandalorians hate Jedi because...
"the Jedi are child stealers" NO
And again I say NO. I saw someone claim this and it absolutely infuriated me.
First point, THE JEDI ARE NOT CHILD STEALERS. That accusation is sithspit anti jedi propaganda. If a parent or guardian told the Jedi no, they didn't want their kid to be a Jedi, the Jedi respected that. They would, however, remove children from danger. But would you call a social worker who took children from environments where they were being molested, starved, beaten, or worse, a child stealer? No? Then don't call the Jedi child stealers for the same actions.
Second point, the average Mandalorian didn't really know or care too much about Jedi. In all honestly, most Mandalorians, like the rest of the galaxy, had no real idea about the difference between Jedi or other force sects like the nightsisters or general darksiders or even the sith except perhaps the color of their lightsabers. Some Mandalorians, like our beloved Din Djarin, knew nothing at all about Jedi and only cared when in became relevant and then did as much research as possible regarding the Jedi. Others, like Jango Fett, had very personal interactions with Jedi and formed their opinions of the Jedi as a whole based on those interactions with no further reason or desire to look further into the Jedi.
Third point, for Mandalorians who studied history or listened to old stories, they knew why the Mandalorians disliked the Jedi and it was for a very simple reason that they liked to avoid actively admitting. That reason? The Jedi kicked the shebs of the Mandalorian armies.
Twice.
Quite possibly there was another point when the Jedi suppressed the Mandalorian empire but there were two times for certain. Granted, the republic played a large part and the Jedi definitely didn't all interfere in one of those two conflicts, and actually actively avoided one of those two conflicts except in a few cases, and there were definitely some terrible things done, but the fact remains that when the Mandalorian empire attempted to expand and basically take over the galaxy, the Jedi were key to stopping this. And no, the Mandalorian empire was not a good thing. But more importantly, if you thought your ancestors or your cultures' armies were in the right and they were beaten, would you like the descendants of those who beat your side?
Fourth point, would you like the side that beat your side if they refused to give you a proper rematch? The Mandalorians who know anything about Jedi know that Jedi have access to all this power, plus generally have a super cool plasma sword, but the Jedi won't fight or they'll de-escalate or generally indulge in pacifistic behavior and we all know how Mandalorians feel about presumed pacifists, right? A Mandalorian denied a fight is often a frustrated Mandalorian. A Mandalorian who sees someone who has all this strength and power often doesn't understand why that person doesn't use that power, doesn't take revenge or slaughter their enemies or a million other things that they would do with such power. So those that don't understand choose to dislike. Why won't the Jedi fight them?! (please imagine the sentence immediately previous spoken in an extremely whiney tone of voice)
Fifth point, the Mandalorians frequently throughout history worked with the Sith or were on the Sith side of conflicts because of a lack of knowledge about force sects meant the Mandalorians didn't generally realize how absolutely stupid it is to side with the Sith but beyond that the Mandalorians often learned about the Jedi from the Sith. So the Mandalorians got stories from the Sith about the Jedi being weak and cold and blah, blah, blah stupid sith propaganda that I don't want to perpetuate. And those Mandalorians would then think themselves Jedi experts, because hadn't they learned about the Jedi from another Jedi? Granted, a dark Jedi but still a Jedi, right? So they'd tell other Mandalorians the propaganda and so the Mandalorians had that Sith skewed idea of the Jedi perpetuated throughout their history.
So the Mandalorians have their own reasons for not like the Jedi, which have NOTHING to do with child stealing, just as the Jedi have plenty of reasons to want to avoid the Mandalorians. Personally though I'm going to blame a lot of those reasons on both sides on the Sith and be grumpy about the Sith and the effectiveness of their propaganda.
And finally, I'm pretty sure at least a tiny bit of the animosity between Mandalorians and Jedi arose from the Mandalorians being jealous that the Jedi had lightsabers and they didn't. To be fair, I'm a little jealous too. Lightsabers are cool.

skeevy Sheev at his finest
I'm currently reading the novelisation of ROTS and the funniest thing for me is Palatine trying to kill Obi Wan in the beginning.
Like even after Dooku fails, he tries several times to convince Anakin to leave Obi Wan for dead. The first time is in the Captain's quarters (aka Throne room 2.0) and Anakin is just so offended that Sheev doesn't understand the concept of no brother left behind.
The second time is just before they enter the elevator shaft and Palpatine is just like: "Oh Anakin, just leave him with me for a bit so you can scout ahead. Nothing bad will happen I promise."
Finally he asks Anakin to give him his hand, which would mean that Anakin would drop Obi Wa.
And it's all so wonderfully cartoonish, I just can't 🥰🥰🥰

This is all very well put-together and I agree with the assessment.
That said, the answer for me has always been extremely simple. Of course Mace Windu wouldn't have been able to defeat Sidious in that scene. Because Mace Windu was not the Chosen One. That's all there is to it. The only person who could have stopped Sidious is Anakin, but Sidious himself had manipulated things 'just so' to ensure that Anakin would protect him in that pivotal moment, instead.
Sidious' grooming Anakin to fall to the Dark Side was as much self-preservation as it was actually wanting Anakin specifically as his tool. Because Sidious knew the prophecy being fulfilled would mean his own distruction. So he thought he could avert it, perhaps indefinitely, by getting the Chosen One on his side. And it worked ...for a while. But not forever. It's significant that this scene is a mirror to the scene in RotJ where Anakin returns to his True Self and comes back to the Light and saves Luke. And in the process, destroys the Sith and fulfills the prophecy.
So, whatever people think of Mace Windu's powers as a Force-user or duellist has little bearing on the outcome of this scene. Because... no matter how powerful he might have been, he never had THAT specific power. Only Anakin did. If Palpatine hadn't been trying to manipulate Anakin, he'd likely have dispatched Windu sooner, before Anakin arrived. It's no slight against Mace whatsoever, but killing Palpatine/Sidious is simply not his role in the story.
My Unpopular Opinion: Was Mace Windu About to Defeat Sidious?
Alright, somebody asked me this question a while back, and personally, I thought the answer was pretty obvious: no, Mace Windu was not about to defeat Sidious in the battle in the Chancellor's Office.
And then I conducted this poll:
Since then, I have come to realize, the answer is (apparently) NOT obvious.
So in this post, I will attempt to prove that Mace Windu, as incredibly powerful as he was, was NOT winning against Palpatine in the battle in the Chancellor's office in Revenge of the Sith even when it looked like he was.
Furthermore, I will argue that Palpatine's deception does not change the importance and power of Anakin's choice.
Let me preface this with: I love Mace Windu! He is literally one of my favorite Jedi, I love his character and I also love Samuel L. Jackson, so you have to understand this is not coming from a place of "Mace Windu hate."
Anyway, this is about to be a long post, so bear with me or tap out now. I'm an English major, so I go about this argument in a very "literary analysis" kind of way.
THE EVIDENCE:
youtube
Okay so as you can see, even in the movie, Palpatine quickly kills the other Jedi Council Masters. And these are not weak Jedi. They are Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin, and Agen Kolar, all highly respected for their wisdom, their use of the Force, and their skill as warriors.
No one else in the entire galaxy could take out these three Masters as quickly as Sidious did, which goes to show how incredibly powerful Darth Sidious is as a warrior.
Mace Windu is clearly the greatest warrior of all the Masters who came with him. He is one of the most powerful Jedi of the Order, second only to Master Yoda (and possibly Anakin, depending on how you interpret Anakin's potential in the Force vs actual ability, but we won't get into that here).
Even if we're just looking at what strictly happens in the movie, Sidious is holding his own just fine against Mace Windu– sure, it's an intense battle, but neither of them seem to be winning or losing.
Suddenly, and only after Anakin is on his way to the Chancellor's office, Sidious begins to falter. Does that NOT seem a bit like a coincidence? Mace Windu kicks Sidious in the face, Sidious loses his lightsaber, and immediately turns into a sniveling little grub begging for his life.
Here's the thing.
Are we really meant to believe all of this was just a coincidence that occurred right as Anakin was walking in?
PERSONALLY, I don't buy it.
You have to remember:
Sidious is the master of manipulation. That is his greatest strength.
Alright, let's look at the book.
In the Revenge of the Sith novelization by Matthew Stover, it starts when Sidious reveals to Anakin that he is the Sith Lord, but that he is also Anakin's friend. Anakin says he will turn Sidious over to the Jedi Council, because Anakin has no idea what to do… he can't kill this man who was his friend, who says he can help him save Padmé.
Sidious makes it very clear to Anakin that the Jedi are going to come to execute him, and Anakin insists that they wouldn't, because (as Anakin says in the movie) "It's not the Jedi way." It shows that Anakin still has faith in the Jedi, in the ways of the Jedi, and it is Sidious's job to tear that away.
All of this is a way for Sidious to prove his point to Anakin– that the Jedi are not as noble as Anakin has been lead to believe. And what's the best way for him to show that to Anakin? What's the best way for him to PROVE that point? If Sidious can show Anakin that the Jedi (the BEST of the Jedi) will kill an unarmed man… will murder someone who has SURRENDERED… Anakin will see the truth: that the Jedi only follow their own rules until it is inconvenient. That the Jedi are not noble, they are hypocrites.
Leading up to the battle in the Chancellor's office, Sidious waits for the Jedi Masters to arrive.
The shadow, Darth Sidious, is not worried by their approach and honestly this is not overconfidence. This is all part of the plan.
As the Jedi storm into his office, he begins a recording which he will later show to the Senate as PROOF that the Jedi tried to assassinate him– a powerless man who has only tried to do his best for the Republic. This is the recording, transcribed in the ROTS novelization:
Yet during the entire recording, Palpatine is killing the Jedi even when it sounds like he's begging for help. This is a small portion of what really happened, between Palpatine's cries for help:
Palpatine has put on this nice little show for the sake of the recording which he can later show the Senate, as proof that the Jedi were trying to overthrow the Republic. Palpatine even LOCKS THE DOOR WITH THE FORCE, locking himself in there with the other Jedi Masters.
Then, we switch to Mace Windu's perspective who is quoted to be "fighting for his life."
So here, Mace Windu feels Palpatine's fear… or at least, he thinks the fear is from Palpatine. And then, Mace Windu cuts Palpatine's lightsaber in half, the blade falling away so that Palpatine had no weapon.
Palpatine falls to the ground and backs away from Mace, just like in the movie, until he's trapped against the window sill.
And Mace Windu doesn't have time to actually consider Palpatine's words, but we (the readers/audience) know the implication: that the fear Mace Windu is feeling belongs to Anakin not Palpatine.
Then, Palpatine begins his Force-lightning attack, and Mace Windu– facing an UNARMED Palpatine– calls out for Anakin's help. Let's remember, Palpatine has no lightsaber, he is lying on his back, on the window sill.
Let me say that again: Mace Windu, NEEDS ANAKIN'S HELP, FACING AN UNARMED MAN, WHO IS LAYING ON HIS BACK.
Palpatine is still in COMPLETE CONTROL of the entire situation.
Even as Mace Windu catches the Force lighting and redirects it back at Palpatine, Palpatine does not stop until he's super deformed and looking totally awful– this isn't out of self defense, this is (once again) for the sole purpose of putting on a show.
Palpatine says, "He's killing me, Anakin" and yet Palpatine CONTINUES to use Force lightning. It's not Mace Windu who is killing Palpatine, Mace Windu is DEFENDING HIMSELF against the powerful Force lightning attack, that PALPATINE continues, even as it deforms him.
Mace Windu is not lying when he says, "Anakin, he's too strong for me–" because Palpatine, even unarmed, is so much more powerful than Mace Windu.
Palpatine is lying when he says, "I…can't. I give up. I…I am too weak, in the end. […] I surrender."
And he says it because he knows what those words– "I surrender"– will do. He knows that it is against the belief of the Jedi to kill an unarmed man, to kill someone who HAS ACTUALLY SURRENDERED. Even Count Dooku had not surrendered to Anakin. He was unarmed, but he did not surrender.
Anakin knows this. This is why Anakin was so upset about the way he killed Count Dooku, because it was not the Jedi way, because it was wrong. And now, here's Mace Windu, one of the best of the Jedi, about to kill a man who has actually surrendered.
When Mace Windu says, "He controls the Senate" he is accidentally playing into Palpatine's hand. Palpatine has told Anakin that the Jedi will try to take over the Republic (which until now, Anakin thought was ridiculous) and if the Jedi take over the Senate, will they kill all the Senators, too? Padmé?
Obviously the Jedi would not have done this, but Anakin's lack of sleep, mixed with his fear and Palpatine's manipulations suddenly make it all too real for him.
There is only one split second where Mace Windu actually could have killed Palpatine, and that's right before Anakin steps in as Mace raises his lightsaber for the killing blow. But the only reason Mace has this opportunity at all is because Sidious allows it. And Sidious allows it because he needs Anakin to see how far the Jedi have fallen. Mace steps into the trap, raising his lightsaber, and seals his fate.
CONCLUSION
Mace Windu was an incredible warrior. He was one of the most powerful Jedi who ever lived, and he is one of my personal favorite Jedi. However, the outcome of this battle was decided before it began.
I have seen some people say: if Mace was not winning, it takes away the power and meaningfulness of Anakin’s choice.
And I understand the argument– because how is Anakin's choice important at all if Mace had already lost? If Mace Windu was never going to win, then Anakin's choice truly had no effect on whether or not the Republic fell, whether or not the Jedi were destroyed.
But the Jedi had destroyed themselves already by fighting in the Clone Wars. The Republic was rotten from the inside out, and it was not just because of Palpatine. So by the time Anakin is forced to make his choice, the fall of the Republic and the Jedi is already inevitable– it's just a matter of when.
Even Padmé recognizes this much earlier in the movie:
"What if the democracy we thought we were serving no longer exists, and the Republic has become the very evil we have been fighting to destroy?"
By this point, the Republic has already been gutted. The Sith have already won.
Had Anakin chosen to help Mace Windu kill Palpatine– and Palpatine already knew Anakin never would have, otherwise Palpatine never would have let Anakin leave his office and tell the Jedi Council he was a Sith– the Sith may have been destroyed. But it would not have stopped the slow degradation of the Republic, and it would not have ended the hypocrisy of the Jedi as peacekeeper-warriors.
And yet, in so many ways, Star Wars is about inevitability and the choices people make in the face of destiny.
Anakin's choice still matters, but his choice was never between light or dark, it was never between Jedi or Sith, it wasn’t even between killing Mace Windu or killing Palpatine.
His choice, in that split second before he makes it, is: stop Mace Windu and save Padmé or watch her die.
Anakin's choice matters because of what it means for Padmé's future, and his own. It matters, because he chooses to be an active participant in the destruction of everything he has ever fought for in an attempt to save her, and it fails, and it ruins him.
All of this is Palpatine forcing Anakin into a corner, and forcing him to make an impossible choice.
But he’s immediately filled with horror after he’s made his choice, because he didn't want Mace Windu to die. He doesn’t regret it, because he has already decided he will do whatever it takes to save Padmé, but he hates that his choice has come down to this.
Alright, did my argument convince you? If not, why? Do you think Mace Windu was truly more powerful than Sidious and was about to defeat him on his own, and if so, why?
I will not respond to rude, or mean remarks. I'm genuinely interested in a discussion if I've not convinced you, and I am open to changing my mind if you have evidence to the contrary!

A Star Wars Request
I need someone to write a star wars story that involves Chancellor Palpatine inexplicably having a really bad fake tan. I need him to show up in the senate being bright orange and clashing terribly with his outfits. Palpatine's entire wardrobe just clashes with his existence now.
And then I need him to have an aneurysm and to no longer be alive. Ideally this should happen before any chance of him coming back in any way, shape, or form.
And the Jedi and the clones being happy. And Anakin and Padme both getting individual therapy and marriage counseling. And ultimately the twins being raised as Jedi and Leia as Obi Wan's padawan with vapaad lessons from Mace while Luke ends up being taught by Master Fay because I'm pretty sure she's Yoda's master and Luke being Yoda's padawan sibling would be hilarious.
Please and thank you.

Hi I have another stupid insane plot idea
OKAY SO. Inspiring facts of canon:
We all remember that Dooku is like 20yrs older than Palpatine, yes? (I have been informed that is is not actually common knowledge as I thought. Dooku's born 102bby and Palps is 84bby. Please do not comment only to express shock at the ages.)
We also all know that Dooku is one of the most prolific masters (not counting Yoda) in terms of Number Of Apprentices Taught, which means that he really enjoys teaching/guiding younger people into becoming the best version of themselves (even if that's sometimes the best Sith possible, like Ventress), despite some Notable failures.
Situation: Dooku time-travels to his own twenties or thirties. Could be physical (Knight Dooku meets The Count) or mental (Dooku wakes up with sixty years of memories), but he's There.
Important Factor: Palpatine is YOUNG. Like, a teenager at MOST.
Plot Shape: Dooku has a New Project. He is going to harass this very young politician/actual child into not being a shitheel, and drag his current apprentice (probably Rael) into helping.
If Palps is sixteen or something, he's already in politics, because Naboo. If Palps is like... four, then Dooku might just Pick Him Up as a new Initiate for the Temple.
Bonus points: Skeevy Sheev is also a time-traveler, specifically of the mental variety, and loathes that Dooku is exerting his age like this. It's Undignified! The man is trying to mentor him! SIDIOUS IS MEANT TO BE THE MASTER, NOT THIS JEDI REJECT.
I just need Dooku's "I can fix him" mentoring energy to smack into teenybopper Sheev at full force.

A brief flash of inspiration that I need to record otherwise I might lose it before I ever have the time to write it: Star Wars and The Mummy fusion, staring Obi-Wan as Evelyn, Cody as Rick and Quinlan(?) as Jonathan. I toyed with Anakin, but he's not quite the right sort of chaos. I could work him in somehow. Hamunaptra is some sort of lost Sith temple, the gold is ancient Force texts, with Skeevy Sheev as Imhoptep (without the love story, I'm sure plenty of Sith would come up with reasons to curse another Sith, even if it's just because they wanted to). I do not have time to write this, but if anyone wishes to take it, please do. Otherwise, the inspiration is here for when I finally do have the time.

"Sheev Can Get Fucked" what's that about?
*crashes through a window laden with stacks of errant papers* I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED!
So the year was 2020 and I was living my best life in isolation in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere, and my dear friend/editor/sounding-board/instigator @crystallea1321 braves the plague to come visit me and make sure I've not completely lost it. During this visit, we discuss in depth our loathing for 1 (one) Sheev Palpatine, the absolute fuckery that is the new trilogy, and the astronomical number of hoops novel and comic authors/artists had to construct to jump through to make any of it make sense.
This gets us going on the amount of stupid plots Sheevie made for himself as... idk enrichment? that put himself in harms way time and time again during the Clone Wars and how if anything had happened at any point that caused 1 (one) thing to go slightly sideways, Skeevy Sheevie could have accidentally offed himself and saved us all a lot of trouble.
And so Sheev Can Get Fucked was born.
A compendium of the most balls to the walls bonkers ideas of ways Sheev accidentally doomed himself and the Plot of All Plots, conceived by the Great Sith Line of Bane.
We've got everything from Anakin conning Sheev out of all his money, to Mas Amedda accidentally knocking Sheev out during a party while simultaneously pushing him off a balcony coincidentally on a night the grav-nets were offline for maintenance.
The one I was last working on was Plague Protocol. Here is an excerpt.
“Emergency protocols?” The chancellor looked down at the extensive pile of flimsis sitting on his desk. When he had arrived at the office that morning, he had expected a relatively normal day of maintaining the delicately balanced dance of keeping a war going on two fronts. What he had been greeted by was a small board of [what the fuck are these political grunts… job station, not species. Some form of secretary but not] waiting to create reactionary plans for some of the most ridiculous scenarios he had ever heard of. What idiot would ever have the gall to try to hold the senate building hostage? One of the [representatives?] sitting across from him hummed, nodding their head as if agreeing with his thoughts. “I realize these are a bit out there,” they acknowledged, “but the GAR is new and the senate is trying their best to outline how much power the army should have, and in what circumstances.” If Palpatine had a say – which he should now with the emergency powers enacted – the GAR wouldn’t have any power that he wasn’t truly in control of. To make sure his hold was absolute, he would have to work through the entire stack of situations and give it his complete attention. But that stack… The lead [representative] smiled politely. “Let’s get started.”

To me there is no mystery here, it's clearly the latter. Because only Anakin ever had the power to truly defeat Sidious. However powerful Mace might have been, he wasn't the Chosen One and thus was never going to actually be able to kill him in the duel. It was just a clever trap by Sidious for Anakin. Sidious always feared Anakin, and his years-long plan to turn Anakin to the Dark Side was, imo, primarily motivated by self-preservation. Yeah, he wanted Anakin as a tool he could wield, and as a trophy of his revenge against the Jedi, but ultimately he wanted make sure that in a moment where Anakin had the opportunity to kill him...he wouldn't. And that's exactly what happened.
...at least, until Luke came along. :')

Padme
Moving to a Star Wars kick for a bit, may jump to another interest at some point but for now...
It's probably been mentioned by someone else and in a much more eloquent fashion but Sheev Palpatine aka Super Skeevy Sheevy aka the person you should NOT listen to about basically anything was around Padme Naberrie Amidala for a very large portion of her life. After she managed to divert Skeevy Sheevy's original plan thanks to her willingness to ask for help from the Gungans and treat them as equal people, I wonder if perhaps Skeevy Sheevy started to invite her to outings in a similar fashion to how he invited Anakin. He had already established himself as her political mentor so he would have had a much easier time of this, especially as he was chancellor and someone would have to be senator and Padme, no matter what her people said, couldn't be queen forever. I wonder if perhaps during those meetings that may have happened, there was perhaps some additional...force in his conversations with her.
I say this because when Padme was senator, she made some extremely stupid choices, choices that aren't really in line with her professed ideals and past actions as Queen Amidala. And I wonder if perhaps Skeevy Sheevy managed to whisper enough poison into her ear that it ate away at her sense of duty and her general intelligence for her to make those choices.
Or maybe it was the trauma of the whole Naboo invasion thing and she really should have gone to regular therapy sessions but for some reason decided against that course of action.
Or maybe both.
In either case, Queen Amidala, glorious, true icon, Senator Amidala however? Would not get my vote for chancellor, honestly would not really trust her as my senator. She talks a good talk but sometimes trips when she tries to walk the walk. If she did manage all she achieved while having to deal with Sith mind manipulation though, makes her that much more admirable even if, again, some of her decisions weren't really the wisest.

Rynn, just thinking about is just ASKING for something bad to happen to you
Rynn is like, "I don't believe in things like bad luck or superstition." Meanwhile her boys are like, "We absolutely do believe in bad luck and jinxes because we've seen it happen, please don't think anything that might jinx us."
@moonwrecked
"This is where Palpatine lived?" Scorch asks as he looks around at the massive mansion, "Like. Alone?" "Yes," The young woman replies, "Sheev Palpatine was a Widow and his child died at the same time as his wife. It was a very tragic event." "How'd they die?" Rynn asks, as she eyes the building placidly. "No one knows, we believe that there was an illness." "Hm. Thank you." "You're very welcome. Would you like a tour?" "That won' t be necessary. Is it alright if Scorch and I just wander around?" Rynn asks. "Oh, yes. Absolutely." The young woman returned to the speeder, and Scorch turns to lead their to the door. "So. Bets on old Skeevy Sheevy killing his wife and kid?" Scorch asks as he pushes the door open. "No bets. Dooku had to kill Master Sifo Dyas for his sith initiation, my bet is that Palpatine had to kill his wife and kid for his initiation." Rynn replies, her nose scrunches up as she steps into the building, "Ugh. I think he killed them here." "Of course he did." Scorch looks around, "Come on, pretty girl. Let's do out investigation and get out of here." "Right behind you."
