So you think Friday everything will be resolved? And ep 10 will only be happy clips?

I’m a child of skam france so I only know about suffering throughout 10 episodes and having 5 clips overall season that are happy clips. #trauma

I think the whole break in incident will be resolved by Friday, they can't drag it any longer

Also, week 10 is the waarmste week, @kerstkriebels explained it better, but I believe it's a week where they'll raise money through various events, and I honestly don't think that we'll have sad or bad clips then, but that's just my guess

Idk if you've seen the Woensdag 10:02 clip or not but if you haven't then the following are a bit spoilery.

I'm so happy with the recent development of Anaïs and Bobbie! It is SO good to see Bobbie smile again ahah, it was hell seeing them pining from afar and Bobbie with her sad eyes.

Also! Anaïs and Bobbie is so fucking good at communicating with their eyes??? Like?? Whoa Laura and Nell are such a good actresses.

And i need more of the kisses!

I loved that clip! So satisfying to see Anais caring enough and having the trust in herself to go and talk to Bobbie instead of the show waiting for some coincidence or Event to throw them together again. And lol, then of course Bobbie's like, okay, why do you think I didn't mean it when I kissed you.

I also really liked them talking in the cafe after, one of the best things about their dynamic has been how, despite Anais's natural politeness, the way they met and Bobbie's personality just overrode it completely so she started off rather resentfully honest but Bobbie's so chill and finds Anais so interesting that it's led to this perfect, comfortable dynamic immediately.

And yeah, they have great chemistry, they're very much like Station 19's Marina in that they're very good at conveying their interest with just body language, especially the eye contact. Kudos to the directors for using as many closeups as they do and letting these moments play out as long as they do, even without dialogue.

The eps are going by so fast for me, I saw people being upset at Anais backing away from the first kiss and the few clips of angst after and I was thinking, well, surely they've still got to get together and break up at least twice, we're still so early?? But then I realized, we're actually almost halfway through... But I still feel like we'll get a bunch more on/off hot/cold drama now, considering what I remember of Druck and the gifs/posts I'd see about Skams Spain and France.

I guess you liked last night's clip? :P I have to say, I keep seeing people throw around the word "toxic" and...I mean, they're kids who've only met recently and JUST gotten together. Yeah, Bobbie seems to have issues, both do, no doubt, but I feel like there needs to be much more of a pattern and intentionality and refusal to change to be considered toxic, at the moment it's just, needing to learn and grow and there's still a fair amount of time for that. Nobody's gonna be perfect off the bat, especially not in the middle of a Skam season. :P

List 10 Comfort Shows

Tagged by @thegalwhorants! Thx for the tag! (I think someone else might’ve tagged me as well a while back, but I’ve been going back through my mentions and I can’t find it…if that’s you, I’m sorry!) A lot of these are purely for sentimental value. They all have a special place in my heart.

1. Outlander - It’s the vibe of this for me. The beautiful Scottish highlands, the music, the characters. Claire is my spirit animal.

2. The Eclipse - *Everyone pretends to be shocked* …not much to say except I love it. FK = comfort.

3. Young Royals - I don’t know what to say about this except it’s such a sad, heartfelt story told in a short amount of time.

4. Agents of Shield - I watched all of this as it was airing with my sister and it just feels very close to my heart.

5. Alice in Borderland - Idk if I’d call this a comfort show exactly, but I love it so much that I couldn’t not include it.

6. Bad Buddy - This technically wasn’t my first BL, but it’s the first show that really got me into BL, specifically GMMTV’s content. Also, that rooftop kiss had me bawling for days. They make my heart so happy.

7. SKAM (all versions, but specifically France) - I can’t explain why, this show just had such a hold on me.

8. The Office - Yes, I know this is a very basic answer. It’s funny, ok?? Lol. (When it comes to comedy, I am also a big New Girl fan @thegalwhorants!)

9. Not Me - I love Gun sm. Also, Yok? I’m in love. Anything with First is comforting tbh.

10. Stranger Things - Specifically the first season. I was just OBSESSED with the vibe back when I first watched it. I probably watched it 10 times. Also a very basic answer, I know.

I know this isn’t what this game is about, but I want to throw out a most-anticipated show, because I’m getting really hyped about it and it just screams nostalgia/comfort—Percy Jackson. I just can’t help but bring it up, haha.

Because I feel like I’m a little late to this game as well, I’m not sure who to tag who hasn’t already played. If you’re seeing this, consider yourself tagged! <3

Skam France Season 11 Thoughts

It took me nearly a year but I finally finished this season after watching the first 5 episodes last May. And, no, I didn't bother recapping I just kept on rolling and knocked out second half of the season over the last three days.

The season was okay?A lot of drama but that's pretty much to be expected from France and Skam as a whole. I don't remember much of the first half but the drama in the second half was pretty forced.

That being said, it was nice to see Rym rebuild her relationship with her mom. Probably the best element of the second half of the season. Rym also owning up to and learning to deal with her issues was good .

The end of the season was a bit to abrupt though. The last episode didn't really feel like a season ending if you know what I mean? While it was definitely more straightforward and less confusing than Season 10's ending it still was a bit of a letdown.

Finally, I'm not sure I have a favorite member of the new cast. Outside of Rym nobody really feels fleshed out. Hopefully Season 12 does more to make the cast feel like real people.

Overall, while it's definitely not my favorite season it's not my least faorite either. From what I know Season 12 is supposed to be the end of France so hopefully it goes out with a bang.

I mean, everyone has different faves but, personally, I think the German one (Druck) and Skam España are the most interesting ones because they kind of do their own thing especially in later seasons. Skam France and Skam Italia are also beautiful but they stick to the og mostly (though Skam France has 3 generations and like 10 seasons now, I just haven't watched the newer ones yet). The Flemish one (Wtfock) is very dramatic and has really great moments but also really bad seasons and Skam Netherlands was sadly cancelled after two seasons.

(I really like how all of the remakes manage to show the specific cultures and they are great if you want to learn different languages. All in all, I think they all manage to mostly stick to the og SKAM vibe)

According to my last post, the last time I used this tumblr was almost exactly 4 years ago.

I have no idea how many of my followers are still active but i still wanted to make a post!

Since then I got a bachelors degree and an office job, bought a house, a car and a dog I am doing Search and Rescue with.

I have not watched a single of the skam remakes (yet!!!!) but i HAVE watched and obsessed over several fantastic series, movies and books.

The reason I am reigniting my tumblr id because I just finished All For The Game series by Nora Sakavic and I just really miss the tumblr community. I am also completely in love with Young Royals, Deadly Class (RIP), Captive Prince, Last of Us, Game of Thrones/asoiaf, and much more. After finishing high school and university i finally have the time and energy to go back to obsessing over plot holes, loose ends (seriously, what was up with Nooras parents?) rowboats (or tiny ships. If you know you know. All for the game people, Jean is my baby and I am dying for more Kevin/Jean content.) and of course all the fan-content.

Anyways. Where on earth do i start with the skam remakes?

Where the hell is SEKOU ?

This clip with Redouane was sooo sweet and made me misss Sekou. I hope his silence since his last post on Lamifex where he is in canada in a new school is somehow a tactic from FranceTVslash for us to forget about him and then BOUUUM SEKOU FOR SEASON 10 surpriseeee!!! I mean dont get me wrong i love all the members of La Miff but I just feel like him and his precious comments/opinions could do good for them all. i just miss him TBH

The fact that every girl already had this type of conversation with her friends…

I can’t count how many times my friends and I talked about sexism and specially about weird guys in the streets. It became so normal to us to experience these terrible moments.

I’m so so so glad Skam France talks about this topic. This is so important. Thanks God no one ever assaulted me sexually or physically but I still can relate to suffering in a sexist world as a woman. I don’t think men realise how heavy this situation is for us.
