"A man's greatest joy is crushing his enemies" - Genghis Khan

This quote is in the house on the grounds of pure coolness. SJ himself advocates for a calmer mentality, but there is some appeal, some simple motivation to be found in the desire to defeat. Competition, like war, brings out the worst in some, but often the best in others. It is a thing to witness, when one runs faster simply because someone else is running beside. While most of us do not really have enemies (recall Thorfinn), SJ sees no harm in considering someone an opponent, whom the wish of beating can serve as strong incentive.

Also somehow, this quote being by Genghis Khan (to the best of SJs knowledge), one of the largest menaces to society in history, somehow gives it more flavour.

For Sarah Jane in particular, her passing is canon but WHEN she passed away isn't 100% pinned down. In the YouTube short "Farewell Sarah Jane", Tegan and Nyssa attend her funeral as a couple. But in "The Power of the Doctor" Tegan and Nyssa have not yet been reunited on Earth. So there's a potential window of time where SJ may have been able to attend the Companion Support Group meeting. (However, the Beyond Bannerman Road audios may contradict this if they give a specific date or even year for her passing.)
