Mount Pinatubo has always been in my bucket list since it is close to home, and it has a rich history. Seeing the crater lake up close and personal will leave you in awe. No photograph will ever capture how majestic it really is. It's eerily intimidating and breathtaking, but in a good way. Thank you #TarlacMountaineeringClub for this opportunity. I'm often lost in my head. Something to wonder about when I'm with friends. That when I'm alone I don't get quiet moments. But when I'm surrounded by important people, I'm nothing but a ball of wordless flesh. It is true that when you fill yourself with thoughts, you don't notice yourself tripping on them. You don't notice yourself getting tangled and swallowed until you don't know where it started anymore. Or where it would end. Hi! So what i am about to post is my Zambales trip which happened a year ago. I know, i know, this was sooo last year. But i still want to put it here for backreading purposes because i love looking back at my adventures then shove to my face how boring my life is right now. Lol.

Okay, this was like a fambam, and just like our Ilocos tour, we inquired in a travel tour. I just forgot what travel tour it was because mum contacted it but i believed we were team Urat.

Our call time was around 2AM, as far as i remember, along EDSA Central. It was about 4-hour long travel time going to the Barangay in Zambales where we were going to embark on a motor boat to arrive in Anawangin. Okay, sorry there was no more accuracy because like i have told you, this was so last year. Maybe i will just post a series of photos. Hehe.

Before we arrived at Anawangin, we stopepd over a nearby island for some photo op.

And after a few boatride, we arrived!

What I am most excited about this trip is to sleep in a tent! There were many campers that day but, i say, not much overpopulated. 

The other camping site after we crossed a makeshift bridge.

There were no cottages or hut to sleep in so you really have to pitch a tent. Conveniently, our tour included tents and logs for bonfire and meals for lunch, dinner, and breakfast the next day. 

Who’s excited to sleep in the tent?!? Hahaha! Anyway, that day was scorching hot to swim so we just stayed in the campsite to, uh, bum. It was really hot and the wind was not cooperating as well. Staying inside the tent won’t make us cooler but we still laid on. I suddenly wondered how did we manage to stay inside the tent. 

Around 4PM, we started to kick our ass off of the campsite and roamed around. 

There was actually nothing much to do on the island but swim and trek. We were actually waiting in the souvenir shop for our guide to tour us on the top of the island. Not really a mountain hike because it was a short trek going up for a sightseeing of mountains and sea. But no guide appeared so we decided to trek by ourselves since there were some people trekking up. We just followed them.

I don’t know what mountain is this but i want to hike here someday.

Then a short swim before the sun set.

There were really no source of light but fire in the evening so bringing of flashlights and/or lamps are necessary.

Morning came and i woke up early like i used to whenever i sleep near the shore because i feel happy to see sunrise/sunset. But unfortunately, sunrise is best viewed on the other side of the mountain.

All in all, it was a very new experience! If staying away from toxicity of work and people is you want, this is a best place. No signal in here, btw.
