I'm gonna take the chance to rant about Yona-

Yo, ya all, she's an absolute sweetheart. I genuinely think she's great and her relationship with Sidon is really cute.

I've been overanalyzing Sidons character and emotional well being since day one. So I absolutely love what Yona does and represents for his character. Even from the start I felt like she had some parallels with Mipha. However the whole idea is that she isn't Mipha, and Sidon should stop treating her like such a cherished and kind person in his life that will wither away the moment he isn't looking.

The fact his grief and guilt holds him back from actually taking action, even tho he's constantly trying to be active and help means so much more to me then I can currently describe.

So Yona helping him come to his senses, saying that she misses who he was, that spark that drove him, that confidence and trust in the people he loves.

While I believe any character could have done that, the fact it was Yona makes me appreciate both Sidon and her more.

Cause it gives her a sense of "Hey, I love you, I'm not taking any of your shit. You're treating me like I'm fragile and it's hurting you and belittling me. Please get your shit together" and I respect her so much for that.

Do I think she was a little forced? Of course. But hey, at the end of the day, nothing stops us from making headcanons or shipping Sidlink. I am not the most extatic about the approach, but regardless of what Yona is, I like what she means for Sidon.

Also that moment when he finally got his courage and his theme kicked in- WHEN I TELL YOU I JUMPED UP AND STARTED KICKING MY FEET I MEAN IT-

Cause before that for a while his theme has been intermingling with Mipha's more and more. Both in botw and age of calamity.

Yes both tracks are undeniably simular, they are siblings after all- When his music kicked in it was unapologetically him and I can't stress how important that is.

OVERALL- While I think Yona's introduction was a little forced, I love what she means for Sidons character. She helped build him up which made me like her more. She genuinely cares. And I truly believe Sidon deserved all that great character development. Finally his story can go into healing, and I can thank Yona for that.

Cause let's face it, it was never gonna be Link, Nintendo won't let that boy comfort anyone FOR SHIT.

Siyona currently works as a secretary under Lancel Pemdez.. secured her job through her ancestor having some good relations with his buisness. When she's not in the office, she's the Prima Ballerina Assluta of her company.. when she's not practicing for her next shows. She's teaching some of the younger girls at her company or her father's kids how to dance. She adores it! She's flirty and bubbly. Definitely more even keel and reasonable.. except when people start to act a fool around her. She isn't afraid to use her Fuchsia status to put someone in their place.

Kiwako is currently a cybersecurity engineer. He works for the same firm as Yaorri and is one of the people they call onto the job when things get rough. When he's not in the on the job or recording courses for online classes. He's often found in his kitchen trying new recipes and posting them to some pretty large pages. He's not some top tier chef, but his skill without formal training is incredibly impressive. He can also be found down at the beach catching some waves.. Unlike Siyona he is more firm on the outside and a lil more soft on the inside. Take no shit and revokes friendliness pretty liberally..

Both are friends with Travix! Their former tutor and they seem to have some.. complicated feelings for that deer even if it's not returned. Even harder when a fish named Carnal seems to have their feelings quite in a twist too..
