one or more hyper-competent arseholes called Thomas (who also frankly deserve better than what happens to them, but they are still arseholes, and they are all called Thomas)

depending on the year, there may also be the Duke of Norfolk in the middle of totally selling out one of his nieces

and finally Spanish ambassador Eustace Chapuys, being extremely snarky in all of his letters

On the upside, depending on the year there may be some absolutely banging music, but is it worth it? No.

i just finished watching six (through animatics) and oh my fucking god that musical IS SO GOOD

i learned so much abt them ?! especially katherine howard, poor girl! ofc she had to be the one to blame when in reality she was only 13-19 (approx) !! lord have MERCY 😞 anyway, i love anne of cleaves and anne boleyn sm, we love you besties 🫶

i dont even think the fandom is alive anymore (or accepts new fans but...) the musical was great and id totally reccomend! this is the playlist ive watched (linked below) and i HIGHLY reccomend watching my faves (the anne boleyn one and the jane seymour one)

I dont know if anybody else figured this out, but it is SIX the Musical when the six wives are all singing the first song, they say history's about to be overthrowned. And then when they are talking in between, Parr says, "Or as we like to call it, ✨️HER-STORY✨️". In I Don't Need Your Love, Parr also says, " 'Cause in history, I'm fixed as one of six..." and just realized that they weren't just saying history, but mainly HIS-STORY.... as in HENRY STORY!!!!

Book Review - ‘Anne Boleyn: A King’s Obsession’ by Alison Weir

I was quite surprised that I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first in the series, ‘Katherine of Aragon: The True Queen’. There were some bad dramatic choices in this novel which just made it seem unreal somehow, and it’s a pity because I think Anne Boleyn’s story is fascinating and it doesn’t need dramatic licence to make it interesting. I felt that this wasn’t as engaging, and the…
