covers that come to mind as ones i actually like as much as (or rarely more than) the original:

- identity #1 on top forever. kanade and miku dark sound so good together and ive grown to hate kanaria gumi less over the years but i still think this just works better. probably the only one im like for sure this is an upgrade.

- flos, also pretty close to being an “upgrade” but not as much. this song just really works for a group i feel

- samsa. another one that just works really well as a group song but i love the way miku is tuned in the original so much that i’d take either or. also kaito NT is probably the only NT that sounds better than their v3/v4

- miracle paint. i think this is the only sekai cover i have in my driving playlist

- gehenna. i do like the original more i think but i still really enjoy the cover for this one

- teratera/showoff. actually my real preference for this is the otomachi una version but thats not available in game so. but i do just like the cover also

there are probably a handful more that id like but i havent listened to them all… idk i feel like in almost all cases im like “i prefer the artists original vision” which is part of why i hate all english covers and im sure thats influencing this. but also idk… i just feel like not that many sekai covers keep the same amount of expression and uniqueness in the original… a lot of them feel very. “easy” for lack of a better word. “path of least resistance” type singing. not to mention how rarely the NTs are tuned well -_-
