namewise how do we feel about zane/zayne
#i like that its short esp the first one i like four letter names#i like that its only one syllable and i like that it has a ~weird letter~#i just dunno if it fits ive been stewing on it for months and i cant tell if i actually like it enough to be it yknow#i feel like it kiiiinda makes sense especially when i have the green on the left side of my hair (been too lazy to dye it lately)#it just feels kinda weird too tho like. maybe a little pretentious if that makes sense?#plus theres multiple characters i like with that name one of which i latched onto HARD in middle school (ninjago zane)#so im unsure if i actually like the name or am just associating it with those characters / am doing it for fandom reasons??#which i want to steer away from truth be told i have a weird uncle named dave so whenever someone used it for me#my brain would bypass homestuck (literally the reason i picked it) and remind me of my weird uncle (just some guy#who i had to threaten to unfriend so he'd stop sending me six trillion facebook game requests)#and who i then unfriended like a year later anyways#and it also has now been permanently ruined by the 2015 trans boy named dave jokes because it would be entirely accurate#idk. idk idk idk
