That's interesting ! I've never heard about them before (didn't try Lucky Palms yet ;b) but I like the idea of Lina as a young lady who had a second chance with Eli. It's funny how EA just gives us strands of the townie's life and each can have their own interpretation. Yours is pretty nice ! Is there any chance of seeing a story-more rambling about her and Jaycen ? I'd like to see that ;b (and they're cute as vamps :)               

Thank you. I’m glad I could make you think about it for a second :) I don’t know if it’s worth it to turn it into story but the idea is just so tempting. I could turn it into series of short stories for sure. I think that’s the most I can afford with my writing skills being so poor and English not being my native language:)

  In my game her and Eli are pretty happy and every time my sims invite her over Eli tags along.      

 I can see why she’s happy to be with him :) Lina’s been through worst in her life. Just look at her. Her dad had died when she was a kid/teen, her mother could barely afford the living, she got pregnant and then rejected by Jaycen and she got "provided with her own posh suite“ and a small dark bedroom in Eli’s big mansion. I took a look at her bedroom. It’s ugly and it has only chess table and a desk with old pc on it while Eli has mirrors everywhere and the most lit and beautiful bedroom. You can tell that the bedroom upstairs is LIna’s because she has logic points and is genius while Eli is a snob that’s why he has a lot of mirrors in his bedroom. Can they be happy like that? Well there’s some possibilities in sims universe XD

I’ve never thought there could be anyone in my followers list who remembered this old gem XD This was my first ski fi movie I saw when I was a kid. Or maybe it was Back to the future but I can't get tired of Fifth Element ever.

I love Dogma. But Clerks is always my favorite Kevin Smith movie. 'I'm not even supposed to be here' is like my personal motto. Anyway, I did do this one already, but thanks for tagging me!               

I gotta admit I don’t remember all the stuff they talked about in Clerks. I hopped on it soon as I could understand a few things with subtitles but I saw Dogma when I got better at English. I just have to go back and see Clerks again and then it’s going to be my favorite movie of Kevin’s :D

Reply. I have a confession - I have an exsiting world in CAW I’m basing this on - Merely just tweaking terrains and colors to match those of Downton. I cannot wait to have Edith strolling around the gardens - probably alone since she’s no luck when it comes to men ;-)

I totally understand. I would certainly not freak out though. I’ve had my backups lost many times. I really don’t care at this point. It’s just a game. I can play without CC and mods, start it over. If I really love the game loosing all saved data from it wouldn’t stop me from playing it.

Do you have backups on an external hard drive, flash drives or something like Dropbox? You could then swap out the organized folder for the messed up one and carry on. I'm on a Mac so don't deal much with Windows, but have learned the hard way to have Multiple backups and do them frequently

I thought Dropbox has either a limit of file size you can upload or a storing space limit. I have my backups on some sort of drive that I only install just to keep them up to date. I know that’s a neat idea to have multiple backups for someone who has done a lot of progress with something. As for me I don’t play TS3 that much. I only play just 1 world. I haven’t done a lot of progress with it, I don’t have multiple projects running at the same time and I don’t play TS2 anymore. Even if I had lost all those files I would’ve just exhaled loudly and forgotten about it next day. What really matters for me is just having working pc, the same setup that can handle games I still want to play. Having lost all saves isn’t the biggest problem compared to not being able to run most of the games at all.

Teo and Catalina live in Lucky Palms.

Yeah. They live in The Claw :) There’s very few simmers who choose Lucky Palms to be their primary world. I wonder why. Is it just because it’s too modern not very realistic? The townies are so pretty!

Spent enough time in deserts to completely not want to be in one ever, ever again - not even in a game.  The world's not all that great for play style, anyway.

That’s understandable. I’ve heard some people leave deserts with disappointments and others stay there forever. Maybe you should be born in desert and like it to never leave it? The climate is pretty harsh there. I think the world’s aesthetics is way too different from what you can see in deserts now. It’s so focused on mid century modern architecture and you can’t really place all kinds of lots with elixirs and stallions or whatever without ruining the look of it sometimes. It’s definitely not great for legacy players unless you add those missing lots to it and redecorate the existing ones and that’s a lot of work to get through for one.
