I understand the logic of putting eyes in the make-up section as "contacts" if you can pick the left or right for heterochromia, but why put just regular, both-eyes-the-same eyes in the make-up section? why not just have them be eyes?

Gavin: “Drunk and Disorderly? Works for me.”

It sounded convincing, yet Connor couldn’t help but noticing that the detective was shunning away from cigarettes, alcohol and for the most part also coffee and sugar ever since they had returned to Detroit. Seeing Gavin Reed’s ego turned into iron discipline, even if only temporarily, was strangely unsettling, as if watching something unnatural...

No one had asked anything and the gate doors moved silently. Walter didn't care, but stepped inside.

It was as if someone had led him inside the building, where she eventually encountered the building’s occupants, who rushed to help Barbara.

At first, the residents of the building, or rather the castle, were a little skeptical of Walter, especially when he was in his troll character.

But in the end, he got them on his side and told them who he was and what had happened. Admittedly, he did not tell them that he and Barbara had come from the future.

Walter wore an outfit made of a special fabric, which, however, felt comfortable. Admittedly, he didn’t care what he was wearing, as the most important thing for him was Barbara, which he couldn’t quite see right away.

It was only a little later that he was taken to a bedroom with a large bed. Barbara rested on the bed, her red hair loose, framing her beautiful face.

That something that had hit Barbara was an arrow. It had now been removed and the wound carefully cleaned and bandaged. In addition, Barbara had worn a gorgeous white outfit that outright accentuated the red hue of her hair.

There was a very slight redness on the woman's cheeks. It told Walter that Barbara would get better. Walter sat on the edge of the bed and just watched the sleeping Barbara. He didn't want to wake the woman, for she had to rest.

So he then went every day to see Barbara, who started to look better the more time it took.

One day Barbara wasn't in bed when Walter arrived to meet her. The bed was empty and for a moment Walter even thought something horrible had happened, but then he came to look out the window and saw a slender woman, dressed in a light dress, standing by the pond. The red hair spilled freely on the woman's shoulders and felt the light of a glowing day.

Walter would have liked to go to Barbara, but knew he couldn’t as long as it was bright.

Days passed again and Barbara felt somehow distant. Walter had a strong feeling for some reason that Barbara even avoided her for some reason. If he was angry about something again, Walter wondered and felt a little miserable.

Once Walter again stood at the window and looked out if he could see Barbara. He woke up in thought when someone touched his shoulder.

"Mistress wants to see you," the young woman said.

Walter nodded and began to follow the woman who led him into the large round hall. At the other end of the hall was a throne where a beautiful woman, dressed in a white dress, sat. "Barbara," Walter said, confused and at the same time enamored, because Barbara really looked very beautiful just then. At the same time, he felt an impatient thud, followed by a not-so-polite command. Not wanting any trouble, Walter obeyed and knelt before the throne. “You wanted to meet me, my lady,” he said politely. "So I wanted to," Barbara said, but he sounded at all Barbara, but somehow different, exalted and ethereal.

“Then what do you want, my lady?” Walter asked.

“Know who you are and what you’re doing here, impure,” Barbara replied.

Walter looked at Barbara, for he had never used that word before. Had he forgotten everything, Walter thought sadly.

"I think you know already who I am and why I am here, O my lady," Walter said politely, covering it, what he felt deep down. Maybe there would still be a moment to talk to Barbara right between the two of them and try to make her remember, Walter thought, "I brought you here for help," Walter continued and looked at Barbara.

"In that case, I am gracious to you," Barbara replied and looked at Walter.

Walter merely nodded politely and stood up.

They did not discuss this further and Walter was directed back to the room which had been given to him for as long as he would stay in the castle.
