Soul's Journey Experience

With the new Life & Death expansion pack, one of the features I was most excited for was the Soul's Journey and Bucket List aspect of the game.

I spent the majority of my time attempting to complete Jeb's bucket list to achieve the Rebirth feature (which I will get to later). I'm not going to lie, there may need to be some tweaking involved because it was incredibly easy to achieve max level Souls Journey with a living sim.

The best and fastest way to level up your Souls Journey I found was through the bucket list feature which does make sense because that's what the feature is designed for.

But it felt like each time I completed 1 thing on the bucket list, I would gain a level up. It just felt a little bit too fast.

There are multiple ways to level up your Souls Journey, but descending order I will list all ways to level up the feature from fastest to slowest:

Jeb passed away a few days after Kaye, this family has been through a lot over the past week I cannot imagine going through something like this so quickly.

They are buried near each other which is so cute, but also a wholesome feature that I am so glad they included, is that sims who were close with the deceased will come and mourn.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Rebel mourning her mother autonomously.

I managed to complete Jeb's Souls Journey and unlock the Burning Soul trait which can only be unlocked if they are a ghost. This allows them to not only rebirth, but also recall several traits from their past life once they grow older.

Jeb bids his final farewells as he descends into the bog, to restart his life once again.

I Rebirthed Jeb into Sofia's household (his youngest daughter).

Yes, I am aware at how incredibly weird and messed up that is but I didn't want to just rebirth into some random ass household that I don't know anyone from.

He has been named Jebediah Harris.

I'm Back... but not uploading yet

Sorry for been out of tumblr for so long, I've been bussy and playing Cities Skylines, trying to make "Willow Creek" but I kinda tired of that already, and boy... How much I miss my sims and my simmers 😉!

I put my Uni-Hood on my to-do list, now I'm currently more focused on playing Desiderata Valley (cleaned and fixed one)... AND also thinking on developing a brand New Hood, this Hood's name is New Future, it was the first own hood that I ever did myself at sims the original is from 2011. Sadly, it has lots of problematics, the hood have a few signs of corruption (Deleted families, Duplicated families and townies, missing sims and strings... ) Besides being actually playable, I wouldn't play due to lot of things to do and change. But last month I revisited my old pics and I couldn't protect myself from nostalgia (I developed the hood in a "focus rotational gameplay" of famous Tara Kat and Jebediah Hold (Custom sim). They created a whole family of 3 married descendants, all with their own children, lots of functional Business, etc.)

So I've decide to recreate the hood, this time with the minimal CC of the necessary Skins (4 Skins or so) and the necessary hood deco (wich pretty sure you already have) everything in order so from now on anyone can enjoy this hood, as much as I did, here some pictures

In case you're wondering, over the past few days, I've been downloading this and that, Sims 4 Custom Content, to get more outfits, and new hair for some characters, etc, and I CAN'T seem to make Jun, look like the pretty little dollboy he is (it might be due to the hair but I can't find hair that works, so far), and I have no idea what hair to choose for Jebediah (I have found some but that's just some other fictional character's hair, and I can't seem to decide on if I have the right hair, and if so, which), but like, JUN'S hair is actually easier to find, I literally right now have a tab open of "Sims 4 kpop hair cc" - though then I'd have to switch him back to a MASCULINE frame, even though in that case, I can't seem to make his body/silhouette, correct (like, he's just "very small male" not "small female" - like, he gotta be looking like he's still stronger than me, but still very cute and all - basically, a boy doll).

AND THEN, there's also JUSTICE, and of course, ETHAN, and like ... I don't even know how to describe Justice's hair, but like, ETHAN'S hair is actually normal/common/average, so Lord knows why I still haven't found it yet, and it ALSO doesn't help, that some CC randomly just DOESN'T show up, it seems, and also that I have to go through a bunch of alpha CC-looking sims (as someone who is NOT an alpha-CC-looking-loving person), and have to go through a bunch of addiction-inducing revealing and/or suggestive sims, often with poses and/or comments from the creator, while being apothiaroace.

Sometimes I forget that neurotypicals are too scatterbrained to remember lore of games and I rage every time I see a makeover of a sim. Jebediah Harris would not wear a suit and tie and not have his cardboard bag you just want to make him a hot bad boy

He's a hot bag boy because he's embarrassed by his parents owning an unethical and illegal weed/meat factory (to be honest I'm not sure which but it got them rich)
