Once upon a time, there was a young man who fell asleep within a grove of trees, or an ancient circle of stones, or a ring of mushrooms. Or perhaps he offended a wood-sprite, or ate a fairy cake unknowingly. It's hard to remember.

Once upon a time, there was a young man who slept for many moons, and when he woke the forest had begun to claim him. When he ripped the creeping vines from his limbs, they left their imprint behind in his flesh.

Once upon a time, there was a young man who slept for many moons, and when he stumbled home he found the world had continued on without him. What had been homes and hearths were only abandoned and overgrown tumble-down stone, and the fields had been given over to meadows of flowers and grass. The young man had a family once, parents and brothers and too many cousins, but he can't remember their faces anymore.

Once upon a time, there was a young man who decided to walk far and wide in search of answers. He is a very studious sort, you see, and if he covered himself with sleeves and gloves and carefully trimmed the antlers that had begun to sprout from his head, he could pass for ordinary. He met many kinds of people and learned many wonderful things, but none of them could explain what had happened to him.

Once upon a time, there was a young man who wearied of wandering and watching the new friends he made age and pass while the forest's magic kept his face unlined. He decided to return to where he began. There, he found that the overgrown fields and fallen stones had been removed, and in their place was a small but thriving village.

The forest, however, remained the same. It was happy to welcome the young man home.

Kian: Wha-… [Kian spluttered over his tea for a moment before regaining his composure and setting it down] Kian: What on earth do you expect me to do? [Wyatt squinted, perhaps Kian had learned something-..] Kian: You know, like it wouldn’t be the same until we got everyone back together-.. eh, almost everyone. Wyatt: [scoffs] That’s what you want to do? Kian: Don’t you? Wyatt: All that time wasting away in prison and you want to jump straight back into the lifestyle that led you there? Kian: We would’ve been just fine if it weren’t for that traitorous redhead… [Kian trailed off and held Wyatt’s gaze expectantly, as though it were a given that his brother would agree. Wyatt wondered if Kian had conveniently forgotten his own involvement in the downfall of their father-.. and Ashton’s, not that he really knew about that part, or whether he was too brain dead to have noticed amongst the chaos] Kian: Aren’t you tired of playing house out here? It’s all but forgotten, we could go back and-… Wyatt: You are not my family. Kian: But we’re brothers-.. you’re literally the only family I’ve got left. [Wyatt laughed dismissively; he could’ve vomited at the sight of Kian’s hurt expression] Wyatt: If you’re suddenly so compelled to act like my brother, then leave-.. get as far away from here as possible and don’t come back, and don’t you dare mention my whereabouts to anyone who bothers asking. Kian: Where do you suppose I ought to go from here then? Wyatt: Really? You finally have complete freedom and you’re asking me what to do with your life? Honestly, I’d love to suggest suicide but I doubt you’d have the wherewithal, nor the guts. Kian: There’s no need for that, my god-.. what’s the matter with you? Father would-… Wyatt: Father this, father that, he’s been dead for over a decade, Kian; get over it or go and fucking join him. [Kian scoffed, shaking his head with such similar derision to their father that Wyatt wanted to choke him senseless] Kian: I should’ve expected no less than your typical hostility-.. ten years and you haven’t changed a bit. Wyatt: That makes two of us. Kian: I suppose I’ll be the bigger man as usual and do as you’ve asked, shall I? Wyatt: [tightly] Mhm, do that. Kian: It’s a good job I didn’t finish unpacking. Wyatt: Perhaps you aren’t completely lacking in forethought after all. [Wyatt clenched his fist around the handle of his mug, fighting the urge to launch it at his brother’s giant, disgusting head-.. he definitely wasn’t worth the mess though, and the tea within was nowhere near hot enough to cause satisfactory damage]

We are back! From a new computer! (EA App stopped working on my old Windows 7 PC -.-) Arturo invited them to celebrate the opening of a brand new Temple in Morensong (and for a belated Ostara/Spring Equinox Festival since we couldn't celebrate together last week. Day and Night were equal on March 21st and warmer days are coming. Hopefully for the Boys too).

They aren't really ready to meet again. Neither Saiwa and Jeb (after Sai's breakdown) nor Jack and Kiyoshi (after Jack's breakdown). But Ji Ho has a plan.

Arturo welcomed them and showed them around. This Temple is much bigger than Kiyoshi's/ the Tree's in Koh Sahpa. Had Kiyoshi gained so much more popularity since he's back from the tree?

Arturo: "Haha no ^^' Kiyoshi's followers wanted this Temple for Kiri, Little Goat and Kumo who hadn't left Kiyoshi's side and cared for him while he was one with the Tree for all those decades. And Little Goat played a big part in bringing him back eventually." Oh... ok Ö.ö So we have a Stable Temple now... For horses, goats and sheep. We've seen stranger things, haven't we? There are 12 easter eggs hidden in the following pics and posts. I write the amount of eggs in the respective pic below in brackets. For example in the pic below you can find 1 easter egg, so I write (1). (The same egg can appear in different pics and angles, but it still counts as 1 egg.)

Kiyoshi is embarrassed. He knows that the others are keeping his distance to him since they know the whole truth about him and Jack and that he became a demon, he's back and and a deity now and they are forced to stay together to avoid a catastrophe in their possible future and he destroyed Jeb and Saiwa's relationship with this damn 'Bird' misunderstanding... He just wanted to live quietly among them and somehow make it up to them and serve them and not to cause a ruckus and being treated as something special and upset them even more. (1)

The Temple is big enough for all the horses and goats and Kumo so they finally have a place to stay in Tomarang! (1)

The Boys' horses are Otherworlds horses and they are free to roam whereever they want to and the Boys can call them via the goats. Not sure if they stay here all together all the time since they have their own problems and misunderstandings and quarrels among them... (see our spin off -> The Stables)

Arturo: "What do you think? It's awesome, right?" Saiwa: "It absolutley is. They will live in a palace!" Arturo: "Come over to the meadow. I prepared games and food." The Selvadoradan Telenovela actor Esteban has now a son, Arturo (19). His mother is Esteban's ex-wife Carmen. Arturo is a nepo baby who has appeared on films and TV shows his father has produced and/or starred in. Even though he's gaining popularity, Arturo is already thinking of giving up acting. Maybe it would be for the better, as he's not particularly good at it.

Elmet: Some of you may be wondering why I've gathered you here.

Norweni: I assumed you got in trouble again.

Xiang: The same.

Eisu: I didn't think that. It could be good news this time!

Elmet: Thank you, Eisu. Now, uh, Netty and I thought for a while what the best way to say this would be—

Norweni: Where is Helenet?

Elmet: I'm getting there! Anyway, we decided the simplest way was best. So, uh, there's a man we met who's been living in Veridia's woods secretly. And he could use help, and he could probably do with a few more friends too.

Norweni: What? Who is this?

Elmet: His name is Arturo. Netty's bringing him here. He's, uh… Eisu, do you remember the first time you saw me transform and how kind you were about it? Like it wasn't a big deal? I need you all to do that now. Like, I'm so serious.

Xiang: Another werewolf?

Elmet: Noooo…

Arturo: For the last time, little witch, the warding spell is for emergencies, not for you to summon me like it's a bell.

Helenet: You would make a poor woman in my condition walk all the way to the grove to fetch you? How cruel!

Arturo: I—that is not what I was saying, I simply—oh.

Arturo: I am not to be brought out to be gawked at like some party trick.

Elmet: Hey. That's not what's happening here.

Helenet: These people are our friends. Well, one of them is also Elmet's brother, but—Arturo, you lived alone for so long, wouldn't it be nice to be able to go amongst more people? I think it would be good for you.

Arturo: You have many opinions about what is good for me. Go amongst who, the villagers your wolf hides his true nature from? Are they even aware of your own talent?

Helenet: Ugh, you're worse than a child refusing to take his medicine—

Norweni: Fucking hell, you people are bad at introductions.

Norweni: I am Norweni, headwoman of this village. To my right is Liu Xiang, another of Veridia's warriors, and beside him is Eisu. And I take it you are Arturo.

Arturo: *sigh* Yes.

Xiang: You're one of the fae I've heard tales of here?

Arturo: No.

Elmet: It's a curse. Like mine, but, y'know, not the same.

Helenet: He's bound to the forest in some way.

Arturo: Oh, I understand now why this is happening. Little witch, you said you would leave it alone.

Helenet: And it was shockingly naive of you to believe me.

Norweni is definitely not as cool with this as her demeanor might suggest, and she drags Elmet off to the side to make her thoughts known.

Norweni: Elmet. How do you know you can trust this creature? Why have you invited him into your home?

Elmet: Uh, because we know him? Netty met him first, but we've both been spending time with him for ages. He's our friend. Trust me, he's not malicious. He is, secretly, a huge dork.

Norweni: That's.. not very reassuring. You seem to live to make problems for me, Elmet.

Elmet: Yeah, well, Eisu grew out of it, so someone has to.

Eisu: So…

Arturo: …

Eisu: Uh. Do you like pie? I'm baking a pie for dinner tonight.

Arturo: …Yes.

Eisu: Great!

This took A LOT of time to download, create, pose, edit and design. I hope my hard work shows! And to our wonderful developer, thank you for all the hard work you've shown us. I've had a real blast the last few months since discovering this series and you deserve all the praise in the world. Please spare Whit, I'm begging you.

Since I am deep in my townie-making era right now, ofc I had to quickly do the new Tomarang townies; the Cahyaputri family, the Bun Ma family, and the Linh-Sadya family + Thi Linh. I actually thought all of them looked quite good already, so I just made them a little bit more my sim style!

When it comes to the Linh-Sadya household, it certainly takes a village. Caring for both a child and elderly parents, Liên and Alon have their hands full. Luckily, with multiple streams of income, making rent is a breeze. A bustling house, on the other hand, is cause for some chaos. Luckily, it only takes a step outside to regain some peace.

And while Saiwa, Jack and Ji Ho stay at home, Jeb, Kiyoshi and Vlad went to the Temple to help Arturo. All of them silently agree it's best to keep Kiyoshi away from Jack until he healed. It's a long way to go for Jack. Even though he says he's fine. We all know he isn't. It would even be better if they parted ways. But Other Jeb's message makes this impossible. No one wants to take the risk of some of them getting hurt - let alone be killed.

Vlad joined Team Kiyoshi. Jack is Vlad's best friend and this wasn't an easy decision to make for Vlad - but he and Kiyoshi grew very close at Belgraves Institute. They shared a room and ran their penalty laps at the sports ground. They slept next to Jack's pod when he was in his coma. And in the end Kiyoshi had to betray Vlad to the Council to maintain Kiyoshi's camouflage.

Vlad knows that Ji Ho and Saiwa take good care of Jack and that Kiyoshi is having a hard time now since he became a diety, had been banned from Kojin's Temple and lost Jack. And no one, except for Jeb, knows how to deal with him after they learned that Kiyoshi was Jack's Alpha and fated mate and kind of co-responsible for Jack's misery. And that Kiyoshi had been sent by his father to the Lab to torture captured Jack and Saiwa. And rescued them in the end. It hadn't been easy for Kiyoshi either with all his duties for the temple, the resistance and the council. He didn't hurt Jack on purpose. They just didn't know better and couldn't act better. He can't be mad at Kiyoshi. Maybe it was because they were too young and unexperienced or it just wasn't meant to be - yet. Fate doesn't make mistakes and Vlad is determined to help both of them.

Kiyoshi cared for the saplings of his Tree. And when he touched the little one Jack had lit with some kind of magic, it hit him like a bolt - again. This is a sign. Kiyoshi is sure. As a werewolf, Jack isn't capable of doing such magic. This has to mean something. Jack is his fated mate. Kiyoshi will give Jack all the time he needs to heal - but he will never give up on him. He tried it - for decades while he'd been in the tree - futile.

Mood is gloomy and everyone was working in silence lost in their own thoughts. Vlad thought he could try Jack's puppy strategy to light up the mood a bit. So he started to tell some funny stories of the times they hadn't been all together. Vlad: "... and when Jeb and Ji Ho had already left to do their school project at Mount Komorebi, Jack insisted to put me on my gloves! I had been blind then, but I still was capable to put on my gloves. And then I made fun of him because he wore a fur jacket! A werewolf in a fur jacket! And then Kiyoshi said: 'I like fur'. Somehow I knew that something was going on between you two." Jeb was cutting the planks, had the pencil between his teeth and chuckled. He repeated 'I like fur' because he thought it was so cute and funny of Kiyoshi. But since he had the pencil between his teeth, it was gibberish.

Arturo froze: "What did you just say?"

Jeb, gibberish: "I like fur?"

Arturo: "Gods - it sounds like the last words from the Master! 'I like bird'!"

Jeb: "I think everything sounds the same when you have a pencil in your mouth while speaking ^^'" Arturo: "True hahaha." Little Goat: 'Hello?!'' omg...

After their work at the Temple, they sat down to eat. Arturo: "Vlad, why don't you take a plate and give it a try?" Vlad: "Ah, I'm sorry but I'm a vampire and can't digest food. I get sick if I do and live off of plasma packs and fruit."

Arturo: "I aware of that - but I also feel your strong craving for food. Other vampires just ignore it." Vlad: "Oh I'd been able to ignore it all my live - until... I drank Ji Ho's blood... and when I came back from hell after I died, I started to smell the incredible odors and had a hard time not giving in and try some ever since."

Arturo: "A lot of things changed after you drank mermaid's blood, hm? Why not you digesting food? Give it a try." Vlad: "Uhm - ok..." It smelled so amazing, Vlad thought it was worth getting sick.

And this is how Vlad tried his first food!

And it seems he likes it!

Oh my Arturo was right - Vlad yould have eaten food since he bit Ji Ho September 2022! And even though he knew he'd changed a lot and craved for it, he never tried - because he was afraid and convinced it would make him sick. This sounds trivial but made him think a lot. What else could he have experienced since then and never tried? And how much has Ji Ho changed him? But before he could follow his thoughts any further, it hit him! Hot hot HOT!!! Arturo: "Maybe Burmesan Samosa Soup wasn't a good choice for your first meal ^^'"

But it was. Vlad will never forget this - his first meal. And it will remind him to be bolder and try new things and not hide behind his fears! (Hear, Hear!)

After lunch Arturo went for a walk with them. He has an idea wow they can make up with the others.

And after a hard day's work, they gathered at the fire. Arturo was pondering all afternoon about 'I like bird' and 'I like fur'... (Try it yourself, it really sounds the same!) Arturo: "Kiyoshi - who did you think about before you became one with the tree?" Kiyoshi: "Jack. I've never been able to forget him. Even when I felt nothing else anymore, I still felt him."

Arturo: "I have a weird inkling: maybe your last words weren't 'I like Bird' but 'I like Fur'? Because Jack is a werewolf? Or you thought of that experience with the fur jacket?" Jeb: "When Kiyoshi thought of Jack and not of Saiwa before he left and Saiwa isn't his fated mate but Jack... Gods - I urged Sai into this fake relationship with Kiyoshi to bring him back because we thought Kiyoshi's last thoughts were about Sai... Saiwa will kill us all." (Omg... ö.Ö') And there's no way not to tell him because they all agreed to be honest to each other...
