1930s Horror Film Posters

This was a huge project, and now they're finally all together: A collection of 10 posters for horror movies from the 1930s - with a personal, legally distinct twist! Having my legacy feature actors in the 1930s gave me the perfect idea for Simblreen. Horror movies (especially monster movies) were a huge genre in that decade, so I just had to make my characters star in some of the most famous ones. The text is entirely in Simlish, but the (main) actor names have been changed to the ones of the sims shown on the respective poster, while the others names are the same. Also, whenever a studio is credited, I've changed it to the Plumbob Studio.

Kai: He doesn’t know me and he sure as hell has his assumptions!

Elia: Which is exactly why I invited you here, so you two could meet and stop these selfish, immature outbursts!

Kai: Selfish?

Elia: You heard me.

Kai: (scoffs) Bullshit.

Kai: All I’ve ever done is try to protect you, to put you first! Even here and now.

Kai: I.. I just don’t want you to make the same mistake I did.

Elia: And that is?

Kai: Rush into marriage before you’re ready. Especially when it’s with some prick who screwed over his first wife.

Elia: (huffs) Kai —

Kai: (Kai’s voice softens, he faces Elia towards him) Listen, flower.

If this angers you, fine.

Kai: But I won’t hide my worry for the woman I love, even if you resent me for it.

Elia: (Stunned, confused, the word is hardly a whisper) ..Love?

So, yeah, guess who thought they were going to do a straightforward decades lookbook and ended up making things entirely too complicated? 🙋‍♀️ The visual side of my brain is always tickled when CC creators put together little catalogs for their collections. That was my initial inspiration. Then I did a half-baked magazine cover concept and wanted to make a better one. I used this template as a base, and the headlines ended up being the most fun part. Anyway, I don't know how many people will click the link let alone scroll through the entire thing, but you'll be rewarded with several paragraphs of Vatore history if you do. I did this more to properly establish their timeline for myself than anything else, but I put a lot of care and time into it, so I appreciate anyone who reads. ❤️

there's just not enough clothes for infants so i decided to take matters into my own hands and recolored a bunch of items in fun colors and patterns - 15 items and 31 files in total 🌞

everything is base game compatible

custom cas and swatch thumbnails

most items come in both solids and patterns, some even have fun colorblock swatches 🧃

i used a few patterns from this set by @pluto-sims and a graphic from @woosteru's graphics folder

some ea infant bottoms have an overlapping texture issue on the waistband - therefore my recolors do also. you won't be able to see it if you put a top on your infant, as that will go over the waistband

thanks to my beloved @cookiesandcrumbs for fixing an issue with one of the meshes 💕

It's unfair how time with you feels so short. How the last 10 years have felt like no time at all. I like to think there are other versions of us out there, somewhere.
