-->And then, at last, it was off to the store for the Final Push! Victor started things off by Copypastoing a bunch of fireflies for Smiler to make Spirit Lifter Gummies with, then hopped on the flower-arranging bench to make more arrangements while Alice and Smiler headed downstairs to the processing room. Smiler focused on making their gummies and Red Hot Tablets, while Alice puttered around making boxes of cheese and mayonnaise and cleaning spoiled food out of the fridges. It wasn't long until she'd made enough boxes to completely fill that one shelf by the fizzy juice fridge! :D

-->...Which mean I now had nothing to do with her, as we didn't need any more prepared food or meat and Smiler and Victor were handling the products we DID need. Wanting to keep her busy and out of the way, I decided to have her go paint the mural on the side of the building with a nice cityscape. This was made a bit more difficult by my Sims getting stuck idling a lot for some reason this session -- something that I THINK was related to Smiler making the Red Hot Tablets on their apothecary bench, as it seemed to happen primarily while they were busy with that. I'm not sure WHY -- perhaps the bench needs some updates. (I mean, we already have this weird animation thing where Smiler spins around AWAY from the bench whenever they complete making some gummies...) They never full-on FROZE like that one time where Alice got completely stuck in the kitchen, but still -- it was weird.

-->Anyway -- even with the idling bug, the trio managed to keep busy! Smiler kept making gummies and tablets; Victor kept making flower arrangements; and Alice kept working on her mural! And all the while, the shelves kept filling up more and more with the product of their labors... Well, Smiler and Victor's labors, as Alice had already done HER bit. XD

Homecrafter of the Month #03

This was all ready except for the previews back in March. I, as you know, don't like taking previews. So, I sidetracked it to work on a request for @alexbgd that is all but done - keep forgetting to see if the corner pieces are positioned right yet; and then DOTY came along and everything went to their folders to take a nice long nap. I have walls, floors, and some bedding deco for you. No previews, but plenty of swatches. The stuff looks like their previews in game - I put them on walls, floors, and the ground, and never took prev's.

All the sets have their swatches included. The pics you see on here are large groupings of them so I don't go over the 30-pic tumblr limit. Here they come:

First up, Borastapeter's Newbies 2 set. These walls are lovely. There are seven design and four 4-tile murals.

A ton of stone road textures done on floor tiles. Someday, I might get around to making them into terrains. You never know.

Wild Animals. I made walls with and without trim from a texture I got from Creative Fabrica. There's matching jonesi Bed Blankets and sunni Bed Ruffles. I saw these and knew I had to put them in some Sim kid's room.

Sanderson's Giles Deacon collection. There are seven designs and one mural.

A Kit Kemp collection. There are seven designs. The tall trees you see on the end of the second swatch are 2-tile panels.

Pretty Prints. There are a lot of the. Most of them are different designs.

Lastly, National Trust 4. There are eight designs.

About a year ago, I worked on several projects, but many things happened that prevented the release of them. This set was one of them - primarily, I make things for myself and my own use and post later. Renovated Chateau

My take on a renovated French Chateau. It's a combination of traditional architecture and modern furnishings. Fully Furnished CC Build.

Main level : entrance hall, central staircase, formal living room, games salon, formal dining room, kitchen/informal dining, half bathroom, cloak room and secundairy staircase/elevator to all floors.

Upper level : family living room, full bathroom, 2 large bedrooms and master apartment (with it's own dining/living area, full bathroom and walk-in closet).

Basement : half bathroom, gym/pool/sauna, full bathroom, butlers quarters (with a private bathroom), vault, laundry, utility room and storage room.

Greenhouse : with it's own vegetable garden

Guesthouse/garage : self contained guesthouse, comes with an open plan living/dining/kitchen, bedroom, full bathroom and closet.

Gardens : formal landscaped gardens and barbecue area

Lot size : 64x64, designed for the Hound's Head lot in Brindleton Bay. This build also looks good on the Dresden House lot in Windenburg.

Packs used for the exterior/shell/gardens : Get Together and Strangerville,. Jungle Adventures, Vampires and Cottage Living were used for some minor details. Many other packs used for the interior.

I won't upload a CC Free version since there too many elements in this build that just won't look good without CC in my opinion. On request I could send/upload the shell without CC though.

CHAMPIGNAC CC and STUFF PART 1

Before the upload of Champignac, let's talk about the CC used in the World ...

Let's face it, there is a little bit more CC used in Champignac than in our other Sims 3 Worlds, because we really wanted to create a French ambiance for a French flavored world :)

Don't worry : except 2 or 3 things, we still use the same creators stuff aka mainly ATS ( Around the Sims 3 ) and Cyclone Sue ( from TSR ) for the build part. And of course, our own stuff which is not huge :D like our Rabbit Holes you may find here on Tumblr ...

Before any further, the fantastic towers you need to get in order to fully enjoy Champignac come from MTS ( Mod the Sims ) and have been converted from The Sims Medieval by Votenga ( MEDIEVAL TOWERS & BUILDINGS ) you may find there :)
