after talking it over, clem and charlie are both on the same page that they don’t want any more children. between marnie, pets, the farm animals and crops, life is already pretty busy. and with marnie having no desire for siblings between her animals, hobbies, and friends to keep her company, they feel quite secure in their decision ❤️

-->Anyway, with Smiler getting their tech on and Alice off to wow the painting world (in a nice shirt and slacks, not a palm tree costume, as per the pop-up I got regarding which outfit she should choose for an important speech at some island-themed museum), Victor finally got up and started with the farm chores! Beginning with Repairioing that damn weather machine, because we are gonna need that, I’m sure.

-->Then, after checking on the chickens, it was into the greenhouse to test one of his other spells -- Floralorial! This is the one that just instantly weeds, waters, and sprays for bugs any particular plant that needs tending. I suspect that casting it on every plant in the greenhouse would take longer than just letting Victor weed and water a bit on his own, but I did have him try it on a couple of plants just for magical experience and to make his job a little easier. :)

-->Tending the rest of the plants (after selling the honey from the beehive) got him all the way up to Gardening skill 7, nice. And what better way to celebrate than FINALLY PLANTING ALL THOSE DAMN OVERSIZED CROPS? Yes, Major Accomplishment Number Two: Victor finally putting in the ground the oversized lettuce, pumpkins, eggplants, mushrooms, and watermelons from Cottage Living! And then fertilizing them all because cleaning out the chicken coop occasionally yields vitality and super-vitality fertilizers and I’d been banking them for precisely this moment. So THOSE are finally on their way -- we’ll see what size produce Victor can coax out of them!

-->And might as well follow that up by actually using his Herbalism skill for something -- namely some deodorizing cream! Because, uh, that was the only thing he had the ingredients to make. Still, it was something, and nice to see him using his new grill (which I believe is also a @the-crypt-o-club creation/recolor) to good effect!

-->And while all this was happening, Angela Pleasant stopped by for a visit! Which was good, as Smiler had been sitting down at that video-creation station for a while and was starting to feel thirsty. . . Of course they were polite and invited her in for a chat first, though. Angie’s a friend, after all, and Smiler does try to at least talk to someone for a little while before asking for a drink! (Because otherwise they’ll say no, as I have found out.)

The Sims 2 For Rent - CC EXPANSION PACK

Last week the Sims 4 got a new pack, this week Sims 2 players get that same pack! In a collaboration with @platinumaspiration and @tvickiesims and a HUGE assist from @episims, we bring you "The Sims 2 For Rent CC Expansion Pack!"

This is a large set, and advisable that it does not get merged even further than it already is! - I ran into some issues when trying to do this!

When you explore this pack, please take a look at the marble ring rug, it has some surprisingly cute rug swatches! I put a swatch in it to remove the marbles themselves, so you have a cute small rug! - I only mention this as I was going to bin the rug off once uploaded, but then I found it had some lovely swatches!

FUNCTIONALITY

So most of the items will function as they should and intended as. Its just not just deco items.

There is two collection files included, separated into build buy! Please note that fences and stairs and spandrels cant be but into a collection!

The squatty toilet that took me over 12 hours to make, yeah they squat, animation can be a bit bouncy but such is life. This toilet also can be flushed, get dirty and is cleanable!

Outdoor plants are seasonal!

Counters are animated with insides built, there is no drawer on the counter, I did not want to change the shape of the unit, and saw EA did the same - ignore the fact they grab something from a non existent drawer

Wardrobes have interiors elements, and have working doors!

Each Kettle have two versions, choose only one, one for the colour traits mod / one 'normal'. They function as Tea makers! Huazzah!

Spandrels in build mode are classified as fences. I made a variant with fence / no fence.

Several of the larger deco pieces such as the Arch Gate, or umbrella are actually lights!

Radiators act like radiators!

The Aircon Unit is completely functional, doesn't lower bills, but it does lower sims temperatures!

"Water Heaters" act like solar panels, they get money off your bills!

The Electrical Fuse box has 2 versions, I kept them both in, one wall deco and one functions as a burglar alarm - I wanted more alarms.

Most Sofas / Chairs have morphs!

Slots added to the Vanity and Bathroom Cabinet!

FENCES / SPANDRELS / STAIRS OH MY!

I have included swatch images of each of the spandrels, fences and stairs and labelled them to match, this is so that you can go in and take out any of the swatches you do not want. This is because there are lot of new fences and the menu can feel cluttered with them in for some people.

Garden At Home By Max20 4t2 Conversion

A conversion of a gorgeous, absolutely stunning set by Max20, Garden At Home.

Includes all items + 2 terrain paints. Everything is quarter tile placeable, smooth and non shiny - my usual routine.

All the seasonal plants (stay blooming in spring and summer because too pretty!):

Planters require Honeywell's garden plot or its edited version by @lamare-sims (if you use our Planting Overhaul Mod) if you want to be able to plant harvestables in them:

Don't let the look of the bench deceive you - it's a normal functioning loveset, and if you align 4 pieces together (no cheats needed for that), everything becomes seamless and fits right under a nice looking tree (I got some for you right here ;):

Bird bath is a ladybug house, it spawns pretty butterflies and birds high up in the sky (cloned from this object by @hugelunatic):

Big greenhouse is an actual lamp (though its light is very subtle). It also intersects with objects and sims (meaning you can put furniture inside and sims will be able to go through it to use these objects):

Small Lactose Intolerant Overhaul This small Mod edits the Plant Milk so it is useable for more Recipes, and it changes how Sims with the Lactose Intolerant Trait react to Food a bit.

Vampire Run Fix This Mod fixes Vampires not using the Vampiric Run, and played Vampires changing their preferred Walkstyle, when switching Households.

Foster Family Various Tweaks:

Increased the Duration potential Adoptives are visiting from 4 to 8 hrs.

Added Greeting Status to potential Adoptives, so you won't have to invite them in. They will more likely come in and interact with Foster Kids/Pets now.

Added a Send Home Interaction to potential Adoptives, since they now stay longer. This way you can send them Home with one Click.

Adopted Foster Kids will get the Son/Daughter Relationship added now and should show up in the Family Tree.

Mod Setting Option via Phone is only available, when a Sim has registered for the Foster Family Network.

Random Small Mod Updates

Auto Brush Teeth Reworked Mod to make it compatible with EA's Bathroom/Kitchen Settings for Sinks. The Addon File "DisabledBrushTeethSinksWillAllowWashDishesOnly.ts4script" is obsolete because of that now, pls remove that File. I did keep my own "Allow/Disallow Brush Teeth" Options though, which you can still set via Cheat Debug Menu (Shift Click) in case the EA Settings don't work well for you. When you don't use EA's Settings or my Mod Settings, Sims will be allowed to use all Sinks however they like. The Addon "AfterEatingToo.ts4script" is changed to be compatible with the XML Injector now, and is changed into a Package File. Remove the Script File pls.

Auto Use Picnic Table when Eating Added Support for two new Picnic Tables from Lovestruck and Growing Together. Added an extra Addon File for "Umbrella Tables" from Base Game and various Packs.

Claim All The Things Added "Frying Pan", "Collectible Other/Treasure Map", "Canvas", and "SackLunch" to be supported

Prefer Leftover Added Addon for Bread to be blocked from autonomously Eating/Grabbing a Plate.

Release all Ghosts & Get Urn for Added the Interactions to Mailboxes (Shift Click), so you don't need to get Urns via Debug etc first.

Craft More Nectar Bottles and more When Crafting 5 Bottles, the Dynamic Skill loot for Nectar Making is multiplied by 1,5.
