Silly question time! If all of the love interests were given access to the sims 4, what kind of players would they be? Would some focus on building more, would some have an elaborate save file where every townie has a life story? And naturally, who is the one purposefully making their sims die xD

✦ The LIs / ROs have access to The Sims 4! What kind of players are they?

✦ Amon: Makes himself. Roleplays as a famous actor. He only plays with that Sim. Also adopts every stray cat and dog that enters his lot.

✦ Raeya: Plays a base household like the Goths or the Calientes and develops their storylines. Fav expansion is Horse Ranch, so she'd also have a random household with a lot of horses and her dream ranch!

✦ Gael: Makes his family a household! Tries to create each sim as accurately as possible using his siblings and father as models and plays with the objective of making them live their dream lives. Would also be really excited and attached to his sim making him fall in love and marry.

✦ Envy: They'd love building above everything else. Playing not so much, but building houses, parks, bookstores...that he adores. Most likely would ask Ara to download his builds to test them!

✦ Ara: Creates herself as the most unhinged and villainous sim in the world. Her game would be so moded it can barely load. Violent mods? All of them. If a sim pisses her off a meteorite is coming. Would make herself a mage just to set people on fire. Also would have a lot of pets and would be enemies with the whole town except for the servos :D She'd try and marry one!

✦ Xal: Makes 838284 households and jumps from one to the other every day. His sims are set to never age because he genuinely can't stand the thought of them dying. Would do challenges like the 100 baby challenge, and he'd be a modder! Would love to do his own furniture and hair mods.

✦ Father Pride: Doesn't know how to play. Doesn't understand anything. His sims would die all the time. He'd get really addicted to it once he learns the ropes though, and would take everything very seriously. Someone ruined his sim's birthday party? He'll complain immediately to his kids about it. He'd ask Ara to teach him how to kill a sim and would discover—much to everyone's dismay— the freezing gun.

✦ Lázaro: Fan of The Sims since the first game! Has all the CDs from back in the day. Kind of upset with how The Sims 4 is going, but still plays with a Legacy Challenge. They are quite fond and proud of it!

✦ Cécile: Would like to see Gael play. Somehow every time he does play his sims end up dying, and he ends up with a graveyard in the lot and plenty of ghosts.

this (OceanOfPDF) is a good website for pirating books thats a lot easier than looking for vk epubs, there are pdfs and epubs for a LOT of books and the site is the easiest to use and most comprehensive of the ones that I've found

the free kindle app (don't pay for amazon kindle) lets you send these files to all of you devices with the kindle app at the same time, you can use this site or find the email addresses for your devices in your amazon account (this is amazon tutorial for how to use the send to kindle email), the files are identical to ebooks that you buy for kindle, you can also upload any epub or pdf files from your device to google books and read them there exactly the same

this (12 Foot) is a good site for reading any articles that are behind a paywall for free, not sure it if works with academic journals and papers but it definitely works for stuff like the nyt

this (the Pirates Bay) is the classic and one of the best sites for pirating movies, tv shows, video games, books, and more, you will need to have a torrent installed to download and use these files, I use utorrent (free)

this (the internet archive) is a site that's good for a lot of stuff, its a nonproft free library type program, the book downloads do not work with the kindle app even if the file type is correct but the pdfs can be opened normally with any pdf reader

this is a cracked spotify apk, I think this one might be for android only and this is a link to spotiflyer which is an app that lets you pirate songs from spotify, youtube, and a few others to put on an mp3 player or flashdrive or cd or just to have them downloaded but separate from the spotify app, works on android, windows and mac

this is a very detailed step by step tutorial on getting ALL of the sims 4 dlc for free (it takes a LONG time to download the actual dlc, set aside at least 12 hours where you won't need to restart or turn off your computer but it works perfectly) you will need a torrent and file extractor but the tutorial links to reliable free apps for both

I'm looking for people who want to be moots/online friends to try and meet some new people 🙏

I'm not necessarily looking for anyone with particular interests since I wanna be exposed to some new things, but here's some things that I'm interested in or that are related to me so you can see if anything peaks your interest.

I'm a big music lover. I mainly like alternative music, lot's of punk music, but I listen to other genres too. Some specific bands/artists I like are the Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Moon Walker, Molchat Doma, Björk, Jazmin Bean, Mindless Self Indulgence (not as much anymore), Uncle Outrage, Insane Clown Posse, KMFDM, And One, and Funker Vogt. I'm also interested in different ways to listen to music. I'm working on building a CD and cassette tape collection and I've been playing around with the iPod classic recently.

I'm interested in fashion and personal style, especially alternative fashion. I don't have a lot of money so I don't really look fashionable, but I've been wanting to get more into it. I love seeing what other people wear, especially if they have a unique style. I'm a big believer in what someone wears can tell you a lot about them because for a lot of people fashion is a big way they express themselves, and I've always been interested in that.

I'm trans ftm and pansexual so I'm definitely down to meet other people in the LGBT community. I would say that I'm open to most identities, although I might not completely understand them, but that's also why I'm trying to meet new people, to be exposed to different things. Just don't be like a MAP or something.

I also have an interest in leftist politics, so if you're someone who likes to talk about leftist politics and discuss those kinds of ideas feel free to talk about it just be civil and open-minded. I'd say I'm open to any good faith discussion just don't be hateful, MAGA, neo-Nazi, terf (or rather, the term I like more, fart 🤭, feminist appropriating radical transphobe) or anything like that.

I like tech, specifically unique tech and for that reason I'm usually interested in older stuff. Some of my favorite tech is probably from the 90s, 2000s and early 2010s because that's around the time when the more colorful and unique tech was popular.

On that note I'm also into 2000s and 2010's revival stuff. I like some of the aesthetics from that era, specifically the more alternative side. It's also a bit nostalgic because a lot of it is stuff I remember from my childhood.

I like horror movies, although I haven't watched any in a while, so if you have any good recommendation feel free to yap about them. I got pretty into the Purge series around Halloween last year and I used to be into Saw when I was younger, and I'm hoping to find more horror movies or TV series to watch.

On the topic of TV, some shows I've liked are Blood-C, Serial Experiments Lain, Krapopolis, Stranger Things, Abandoned and Dark Tourism. There's probably more, but I don't watch TV that much so I'm probably forgetting them.

I also play a lot of video games. Some of my favorites are Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption 2, Sea of Theives, Terraria, Stardew Valley, Sims 4, Hogwarts Legacy, Minecraft, Fortnite and No Man's Sky. I've also been wanting to play more of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series as well as Days Gone. I used to be a huge Elder Scrolls fan back when I was, like, 12, and then when I was 14 I got really into Fortnite, so those are always fun. (And when I was 12 I'm talking like, chronic Skyrim player. I was getting Tetris syndrome from how much Skyrim I was playing. Fun times.)

I'm gonna stop here before I go on and on and on. If any of this interests you definitely drop a comment or a DM. Also I'm 17 (soon to be 18) so if we're gonna talk it's probably better if your around my age so like 16 - 19 preferred, but I also probably won't shun you if you're a little outside of that gap just don't be waaaaay younger or waaaaay older (like min 14, max 20).

It's been multiple months since the mansion incident

The legal case lasted a good while, but no evidence was found against any of the survivors, so they are okay now.

The blood did not leave their clothes. They got new ones.

Oliver Beebo wakes up another day in his apartment. While a lot of his nights have bizarre nightmares, this one was calm.

Even though they are no longer on vacation, Ángel still stayed on Oliver's apartment, but they plan on staying some time in the capital, just to see what it's like.

He uses all types of products he can find to heal his scar. Beebo doesn't mind much. it's part of the job, he says.

They've been living a calm and domestic day to day life, with ups and down.

The downs are, very down indeed

But the ups are more often.

They got matching tattoos of a sunrise, it makes them feel better.

Oliver has started taking cases again, but he's going for simpler ones.

He has told his fellow detectives to keep an eye out for seemingly supernatural cases.

Ángel has declared that he will invite himself to any case that involves a haunted house. Oliver doesn't fight him on it

They both have gained new fears

Ángel gets very anxious when they're separated for too long. He's also terrible at guessing what time it is

Oliver makes a great effort in overcoming his fear of heights. It's a work on progress.

He's also afraid of developing any kind of memory affecting disease. He keeps an incredibly detailed diary

They are getting help. It's slow and nonlinear, but they can always go to a warm home with a cuddly cat and a tight hug.

Vivi invites Oliver for an exclusive 2-player session with Ángel, as a test for his dnd abilities, she says.

While he's not that good at the role playing, he's very good at strategy. He really enjoys lawful characters.

They have fun.

Marigold and Nina were also invited. It made for a very chaotic group.

Ángel wants to start a new game so he can upload it to his newly made youtube channel

He wasn't satisfied with a normal 9 to 5, so he decided for a more creative job.

He's slowly rising, with titles such as "Doing the 100 babies challenge in The sims 4," "RLcraft hardcore for 100 days", "Top 10 facts about Dominion the jewel thief", "Finishing Overcooked with all stars ft. Vivi", and his personal favorite, "Speedrunning Escape rooms with my bf ❤️"

He claims to be Dominion's number one fan and sells plushies of him. Oliver will never admit he bought one.

Apparently, he is considered a cryptid in Ángel's channel, which he appreciates.

The now officially named Iraola family invites them to events quite often, it's very nice to have a friend group

Game nights are... quite extreme

Turns out teenagers can be very competitive and capable

Nadia and Ángel have a scoreboard set up. The winner gets decided at New years.

Oliver has managed to keep his throne as the master of any and all card games, but for how long?

He can't wait for Christmas, he plans on giving Simon a cool anti-eye contact hat.

Even though he's still terrified of the concept of fatherhood, he really enjoys being an uncle.

Speaking of such, Ángel had to meet his parents. It was awkward at first, but he managed to win them over with his knowledge of old cinema and pretty boy charm.

Oliver met the Ronald Mcdonald statue by Ángel's childhood house. He has a picture with it.

Ángel's mother was sweet, hardworking, and strict. She was not afraid of telling her son how he should be a better gentleman towards Oliver. It was... an eventful night. It's a good thing the lady enjoys mystery novels.

They celebrated Nadia's birthday in spring, cordially invited.

Everyone was sure Ángel would give her a gag gift, like a cd to a boy band she doesn't like or an ugly shirt.

He gave her a key code to an expensive editing software.

She was grateful but refused to say so. She plans on retaliating with an equally thoughtful gift.

They are slowly learning to get along, like a pair of cats that need to be separated by a door when they first meet.

In other news, Oliver recently received an autism diagnosis. He was very surprised. Ángel wasn't. He baked him a cake for the occasion.

The biggest event had to be the wedding

On a warm spring day, in the middle of a flower field, Marigold Iraola and Nina Coli got married.

There was some bad press about it, but a certain reporter was very enthusiastic about how beautiful of an union this was, unlike the previous one.

Marigold decided to disband Coli's company, making a new one herself.

It specializes in medical equipment.

They saw the newlyweds say their vows, Oliver couldn't help but yearn for a moment like that.

He and Ángel danced the evening away

Between the multiple friends of the wives waiting for the bouquet toss, there was a determined man in white

And like a cat to a shiny object

He jumped and got it

They decide spring is a great season for a wedding.

They don't decide which spring though

SimsVille: The Game That Almost Was, But Never Will Be

This video contains a lot of interesting information about SimsVille. I learned a lot.

SimsVille is a cancelled 2001 game by Maxis. It was meant to be a crossover game between The Sims (2000) and SimCity, which would offer the user control of a multitude of houses in a neighborhood, in a fashion similar to The Sims.

In March 2001, during a launch event in San Francisco, California for the release of The Sims: House Party expansion pack, several Maxis developers demonstrated SimsVille, and the game was due to be released in early 2002. It received a tepid response in comparison to the House Party demonstration. One significant difference between the gameplay of The Sims and SimsVille was that while in The Sims a player would push Sims by giving them commands to follow, in SimsVille a player could only pull Sims by placing objects with different degrees of attraction to the Sims; objects with insufficient attraction would be ignored by Sims. This new gameplay style did not allow as much player control in SimsVille as in The Sims, which contributed to its poor reception by those in attendance.

SimsVille was cancelled in September 2001, as Maxis decided to shift development efforts to expansion packs for The Sims instead. Many aspects of the game, such as a communal "downtown" area, were incorporated into The Sims: Hot Date expansion pack. Several gameplay elements of SimsVille, such as obtaining feedback from citizens, would be prominently used in Maxis' next city simulation game, SimCity 4 (2003). The ability to control many households at once and the fully 3D neighborhood view format was also used in The Sims 2 (2004). Finally, the concept of a fully open world without loading screens features in The Sims 3 (2009) and MySims (2007).

TV Studio Story is a life sim where you run a TV studio... um... story. (I keep reading story as Stary in the logo)

Berserk Boy is a Mega Man X inspired platformer with metroidvania elements. It reminds me of the CD era Mega Man X games. The music's by Tee Lopes who also composed music for Sonic Mania, TMNT (I think the beat em up), Streets of Rage 4, and Metal Slug Tactics.

Hex Gambit is a hex based board game that I'm sure is really fun but there wasn't a how to on the page so I have no idea really how it plays or what the main goal of the game is besides damage.

Where The Crows Roam is a survival horror game made by a 6th grader. It just looks the most liminal, and I appreciate this kid's gusto.

Terrafort is a top down survival game that looks solid. I don't really know what's happening but it's like shirtless desert island simulator 2024.

Inside the Crystal Mountain is a top down precision action adventure. I like how wild they've gone with character designs. I have no idea how hard this game actually is, but they're inspired by Dark Souls.

oh yes another garage sale tag sale adventure from today, when i bought the album

was browsing things and this girl (who i learned by overhearing arguments with her mom and brother is 18) told her mom (i think) that she was high right now. and i kinda snorted and she looked over at me and went "OH SORRY!!" like that was a customer service faux pas lmaoo

and i was like , it's ok, i just moved here from colorado. so like yknow. and she laughed

they also brought out some vinyl that she and her brother didn't know had been donated by grandma to the tag sale and began squabbling (fun sibling fight way, not annoying way) over who will get dibs. when they were elsewhere i asked the mom if i could look thru. the 18yo looked over and im like IT'S OK I WILL ASK YOU FIRST... i found one (blues brothers soundtrack) and she gave me the go-ahead to purchase it lol . and i was able to confirm today that my goodwill record player works ! despite leaving the record in the hot car with my sims game and thinking it'd be fine bc computers get hot so cds are durable. and then later remembering that oh shit that is not fine for vinyl. but it seems ok

anyway, different sale, but i was just bragging to my discord friends AND my mother (so in other words, everyone i know) that i looked up the $12 stand mixer i got, and it retails for $200 - $300 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hamilton-Beach-Eclectrics-4-5-Quart-Kitchen-Stand-Mixer-Model-63227/8111077 so THAT is pretty neato! :)))

now i just ... need an oven that doesn't give me a headache to turn on that my mom thinks is in my head but that i am p sure is due to the gas it uses

TS4: CD player functional - Wall & Stand versions

Hello, Simmers *-*

The CD players are so cute and aesthetic, right?

So I decided to make them for The Sims 4.

There are 3 versions: 

- Wall mounted version 1 - with cable (Note: this one is high poly. If it makes your computer slow, use the other versions of the object).

- Wall mounted version 2 - No cable.

- Stand version.It also comes with a decorative remote control.

There are 40 swatches with different albums on it, mostly K-Pop. But there are other artists as well.

You can recolor it if you want, just don't include the mesh :)

I deleted the "visual music effect" from it, cause it looked weird with the object.

I hope you and your Sims will enjoy it a lot! <3
