Shinjuku Soumei is a intense content containing visual novel. Read the mature content description before buying.
Aethus is a single-player isometric story based survival game.
Sacrifice for Sale is a visual novel with a lot of endings about a salesman getting pulled into cult business by knocking at the wrong door.

Releasing Today, May 22 2024!
Venture to the Vile is a 2.5D metroidvania set in a victorian time period. It has a sort of... urban legend story design, and everyone's wearing weird animal masks. I'm kinda getting a Rusty Lake vibe.
Astrometica: Prologue is a space building/survival/crafting sim.
Isles of Sea and Sky is a block pushing top down puzzle game with NES/GBC inspired graphics. It looks like it has a lot of content, with an ocean travel system that reminds me of Star Tropics.
Rakugaki (abbreviated like FLCL to RKGK I guess) is a single-player 3D platformer where you jump around and graffiti things in a slidy-parkour version of cyberpunk Jet Set Radio.
Harvest Hunt is a first person survival horror game with a tarot-card themed skill system. The game has a rotation of enemies and goals that you have to play around with different collections of skills.

Run x Gun is a autoscrolling run and gun game where you run through major US cities fighting aliens.
Cyberpulse is a top down arcade action game with a vector aesthetic and cyber themed vibe. It has bosses, and a bit of bullet hell influence. It has a four player PvP mode too.
Tiny Breakers Camp is a pixelly brickbreaker roguelike.
Paper Trail is a top-down puzzle adventure game with a full story, and a neat page folding puzzle mechanic.
Potion Problem is a potion making simulator with some minigames and ...wow, that poor turtle wtf
Synergy is a kinda solarpunk(?) post-apocalpytic resource management/city building sim. It kinda has that edutainment vibe for some reason to me, but I dig it.

Releasing Today, May 20 2024!
Neural Shock is a top down tower-defense where you play a character who can also shoot the enemies.
Aquium is a fishing simulator where you catch fish for your aquarium.
Margoq's lair is a roguelite dungeon crawler with an inventory system and a spell combination system.
Way of Rhea is a puzzle game based around colored doors and teleporting/timing manipulation.
LOGIX: The Missing Part is an FPS puzzle game where you need to fix the logic in puzzles by using companion cubes. It kinda has a big QUBE vibe going for it.
Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago is an idler game where you raise a gameboy color hero as they progress through their lives. It seems like there are a bunch of minigames to play along the way.
Little-Known Galaxy is a casual life/farming sim in space where you get to meet/date aliens/clones/etc, while collecting and farming space flora.
Speglar is an old school arcade style multi-person arena game where you pilot spaceships or tanks or something around an arena with mirrors that bounce your bullets around. It's probably fun if you've got some people local to play with. Speglar is a funny word.
Escaping DandyLand is a (frustrating?) 3D platformer that supplies a barrage of colors and looks like it escaped out of ENA or something.
Excelios is an Excel-themed 2D platformer. I have no idea what the story really is, but you basically play the Excel logo, and Clippy helps you out?

Releasing Today, May 17 2024!
Sorry, a bit tired right now, so I'm not going to put text for every game this time.
Gilded Eternal is a neat arcade game concept. Something I'd feel like would fit well in the MAGFest indie arcade.
I kinda wanted to make a game like Seablip once…
This seems… broken, but fun for programmers.
CHAIRS.

Releasing Today, May 16 2024!
Cozy Caravan is a social simulation video game where you travel around in a caravan doing tasks to make people a little happier.
Pool Party is a physics based party game.
Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER is a mystery visual novel and a sequel to 2064: Read Only Memories.
Hexahedra is a scaling factory puzzle game, in a very Zachtronics way.
Fight ''n' Jokes is a throwback fighting game, with netcode?
The Lost Compressor is a short work-based puzzle game.
Break the Loop is a time travel themed turn-based rogue-like battler.
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is a mystery puzzle adventure game with a neat red and monochromatic art style.
Hackshot is a neat combo of a golfing-physics puzzle game and a hacking themed story. I like the vector themed art style.
Kaeram is a top-down open world MMORPG. It seems ambitious.

Releasing Today, May 15 2024!
Realm Of I is a fast paced minimal (atari? idk I never know what to call this style) pixel metroidvania. It has a spell based (projectile) combat system. The music is apparently dynamically generated? There's some neat layering going on in here amongst the minimalistic graphics.
Astral Rift is a top down action roguelike. Uh, collect stuff, kill hordes, visit townsfolk?
An English Haunting is a pixel art point and click horror game.
Aeruta is an action platformer with a shop management mechanic, sort of like Battle Chef. It also has a little bit of a coffee shop mechanic where you have to do a DDR input to make (sell?) stuff. I hope it's translated to English though.
Cozy Crest is a whole element-bending open world survival farming chill game? It looks surprisingly put together for what I normally skim through.
Pilapila is a 2d block stacking puzzle platformer.
Deep Beyond is a first person walking simulator/puzzle game about a sea diver trying to figure out why her father disappeared.
Baladins is a co-op...roleplaying game...graphic novel? I'm not really sure how to describe it. It's a multiplayer choose your own adventure that lets you build character stats and then make choices that will be affected by them to change the story.
Mullet Madjack is a roguelike fps that is inspired by the hyper detailed and gory 90s anime that you used to find only on VHS tapes or if you watched Anime Abandon.

Releasing Today, May 14 2024!
Ziggy's Labyrinth is a take on the OG snake game but with different power ups and mechanics per level. I appreciate the effort.
Athenian Rhapsody is a chaotic rpg with a social trading card system. It seems to be taking a lot of Earthbound and Undertale into it's inspiration, but is kinda just doubling down more into the wtf factor.
Robobeat is a rhythm FPS roguelike like BPM or Harmonix's ill-fated Chroma (I was in the alpha for that game, Harmonix probably could have salvaged it imho)
Heromantic is a hero dating sim with a female protagonist. I don't think it gets too lewd since it mentions 14+ in the description.

Releasing Today, May 13 2024!
Winds Up Kitesurfing is a kitesurfing action game that reminds me of Pilotwings 64. It looks really chill. It has a career mode along with some challenge modes - four worlds are also available.
Shield Knight is a platformer with bosses that looks to have a neat shield parrying combat system and a story.
Gatekeeper is a co-op roguelike top-down shooter. There's a whole development road map on the steam page. I really like the colorful graphics. It looks a little bullet-hell-y, so I hope they're just showing the end of levels and not the beginning.
The Land Beneath Us is a turn-based grid-based rogue-like (more-hyphenated-terms-please) where you can cast abilities by doing movements on the grid, like you have to dance to cast them or something. It has a nice 2.5d pixel and 3d art style.
Never Mourn is a action-roguelike (that means horde mode when I was ) where you play as a necromancer, so you build an army of minions for fight for you. I like that it's not top down, you have dodging and spell mechanics, along with a skill tree.
Fishlets is chill fish collecting aquarium sim that has an adventure mode in addition to your normal fishtank screensaver mode.

Releasing Today, Mar 8 2024!
This is another decent into chaos/madness kinda game day - so bear with me.
Summerhouse is a chill 2d house building sandbox. It's just there for you to have fun building in - no goals or game overs.
Star Racer is an arcade racing game clearly inspired by F-Zero. It adds offensive items like Mario Kart, and I see some kinda Panzer Dragoon kinda shooting? It has a level editor and apparently music by Grant Kirkhope. No online play unfortunately. I'm also confused why it doesn't have a steam thumbnail.
Bore Blasters is a 2D roguelike mining and collecting game. Honestly it looks really entertaining and replayable because of the ways you can mine. I like that it's kinda like lunar lander in a way too.
Phenom Overdrive is an atmospheric exploration shmup with multiple endings.
The Consumerist Journey is a surreal exploration game discussing "the nature of consumerism, capitalism, and the human condition".
Abyssal Reflections is a "short Atmospheric depressing non-jumpscare" first person game. Apparently you're supposed to be asking yourself - "Who am I, what am I? I'm a robot, right? Anyway, I've got a couple of Objectives I don't have time for right now." I have no idea what's going on here tbh
Barbotine is an first person horror game that starts with like a party but ends with you fighting C19 people with... tendril arms and one that comes out of your chest?!? It's only ~25 minutes long so it'll be a short and very weird experience if you dare play it.

Releasing Today, Mar 7 2024!
Ancient Weapon Holly is a roguelike dungeon crawler where you play an antique weapon known as an anime girl. You can use her abilities to build and destroy the dungeon as needed.
Chasing the Unseen is an exploration platformer where you get to climb through crazy fractal and maze environments.
Blade Prince Academy is a tactical RPG that also incorporates hack and slash elements. At any moment, you can pause the combat and then align team movements to chain damage. The characters are students at an academy, so it might be a bit "student arc"-y. I like the character designs and art style.
Astro Duel 2 is a combat platformer/shmup that seems like a combo of Duck Game and Asteroids. It has co-op and pvp so that's a bonus. I'm not sure if it has a story in the bounty mode.
Teefax: Cold Case is a point and click detective inspired by Teletext broadcasts and that kinda CGA vibe from back in the day.

Releasing Today, Mar 6 2024!
TV Studio Story is a life sim where you run a TV studio... um... story. (I keep reading story as Stary in the logo)
Berserk Boy is a Mega Man X inspired platformer with metroidvania elements. It reminds me of the CD era Mega Man X games. The music's by Tee Lopes who also composed music for Sonic Mania, TMNT (I think the beat em up), Streets of Rage 4, and Metal Slug Tactics.
Hex Gambit is a hex based board game that I'm sure is really fun but there wasn't a how to on the page so I have no idea really how it plays or what the main goal of the game is besides damage.
Where The Crows Roam is a survival horror game made by a 6th grader. It just looks the most liminal, and I appreciate this kid's gusto.
Terrafort is a top down survival game that looks solid. I don't really know what's happening but it's like shirtless desert island simulator 2024.
Inside the Crystal Mountain is a top down precision action adventure. I like how wild they've gone with character designs. I have no idea how hard this game actually is, but they're inspired by Dark Souls.

Beneath the Mountain is a top down isometric dwarf fortress management RTS. Since I'm late to the party today, the reviews seem like it really needs a tutorial.
Athena Crisis is a turn based strategy game like Advance Wars. It definitely has that art style down.

Releasing Today, Mar 4 2024!
Space Will is a topdown action roguelike where you build a ship with grid based bits. It's like the board game Galaxy Trucker had a video game child.
Afterworld is a neat RPGMaker game where you explore the afterworld and collect animal spirits. I like that it uses its own art assets.
The Gauntlet is an FPS precision platformer. I like the solid bright colors and like the TV show theming.
Bullet Bunny is a rogue-like twin stick shooter with sprite art. There's a bit too much going on in the screenshots for me, but I know other people like these.
Hazy Mind is a psychological horror visual novel about someone who woke in their up with no memories. Read the mature content description, there's some dark territory trodden here.
I may or may not be legally obligated to like games with names in the sixties - but Sixty Four has a lot going for it. It's like a combination of a clicker and a strategy building game like Factorio. I like that it has some kind of story that explains why (or at least I hope it tries to) there are machines and weird rocks, and cubes in the void. It might need an invert colors button if it doesn't have one though.

Microcosmum is a cool cell themed god game. I just think it looks really cool and for some reason gives me Sega Genesis art vibes. Also, I really liked Spore's cell stage so this speaks to me. Weird Saturday release though. Microcosmum 1 was also received positively.
