What is a good Sims 3 World without a little headache ? :D And because we love difficulties, we are currently updating our own website ( which is a mess ) ... What else ? Nothing, everything is fine under the sun of this hot summer :D

The General Hospital is a Maxis one, but from Riverview. @nornities ( thanks A LOT for his/her patience to check Champignac ) pointed to us different things : missing mostly. so, somes of you may not see the Hospital ( Hopital des Bleuets ) in their game.

Bad links are currently corrected and both CC sims3packs folder and CC packages folder updated to include few missing stuff, including the Fresco Market items and the Skylight Studio roof elements we used + the Riverview Hospital :) HERE

The Open Swimming pool ( Champignac Bains Romains ) has lost its border texture ... don't worry : just replace with a one you like :)

The School is not the good one : too many missing stuff there, so we are currently uploading a new Champignac save game which should correct the little mistakes here and there HERE

We'll ... Champignac is a village from Spirou & Fantasio which is one of the most popular classic Franco-Belgian comics. The series, which has been running since 1938, shares many characteristics with other European humorous adventure comics like The Adventures of Tintin and Asterix. It has been written and drawn by a succession of artists ... Spirou and Fantasio are the series' main characters, two adventurous journalists who run into fantastic adventures, aided by Spirou's pet squirrel Spip, the Marsipulami, and their inventor friend the Count of Champignac ... :D

Hidden Springs

Here are a few more of the lots downtown in Hidden Springs

Right across the street from the city hall and the grocery is the new firehouse - which replaces EA's generic one. This lot was created by nengi95 from the old Sims Crossings site. I tweaked it a bit to fit into this world.

And right next to it - where the game always places that consignment lot - I put this one. It came from Mod the Sims and is called Francine's Beauty Boutique. In case you haven't figured it out, it's a re-do of that EA Bakery lot. Anyway, I deleted all the repetitive crap the creator had placed on the 3rd floor and used those 'skip level' markers on the upper levels. And in that corner shop with the green door, I made it into an architect's office. In the original it was just set dressing - aka: wasted space. Out front, I deleted the EA planters and used the ones from Late Night. Plus, I gave sims some place to park their cars. In the back, I got rid of that over-sized fountain and also gave them a food-stand from Around the Sims 3. There were all those tables back there and nothing for the sims to eat - so I fixed that.

Then, where EA had their bookstore, I bulldozed it and placed Tedhi's Toads Corner Shop that she created for Sunset Valley. She had left the 2nd and 3rd floors empty, but I used the 2nd floor for that Gypsy wagon rabbithole rug and also placed that seance table from the store - along with Lady Ravendancer's spellbook and that cauldron they sold. The top floor still has the 'skip level' marker. Oh! And I put that clock on the front of the store and used some different trees.

Then I went up to that area where that ginormous spa lot was. On the corner where EA had their gym, I built the new town hospital. It is currently just a shell - with the hospital and spa rabbithole rugs inside.

Across the street - where said spa lot was - I placed this lot that I got from Mod the Sims ages ago. Since it is called Silver Zephyr Springs, I added some hot tubs, and those objects from that Sunlit Tides set - the mud-bath tubs and the sauna set. There is also an exercise pool and I used those jogging markers on that dirt track.

Then right next door, I placed the new Hidden Springs Yoga Studio. It also came from Mod the Sims. It was built years before people came up with the 'yoga' mods. So, I replaced the generic rugs they had inside with yoga mats from Around the Sims 3. On the 2nd floor, there is an indoor track - again with those jogging markers - and a tiny snack area. And out back is a small pool.

Then, I decided to tackle a few of the residential lots, but I'll save those for another post.

Hello after a longtime coming I finally completed my save file for Hylewood. i'd say its been almost 2years on and off and I hope you enjoy it : ]

Things to know about the world

7 households (14 sims) + 9 npc's i placed for work (23 sims total)

3 empty residential lots & 1 house that has no sim so move in or bulldoze

the sims come with skills and a job so yay

has all your basic rabbitholes + gypsy wagon

it has a consignment shop , festival ground , campground , park , garden area, somewhat of a beach , bar , gym/cafe

lots i didn't make : Planet wobbit by NapoleonFrost ,Joes corner by Everlasting garden and a house by pixelbots

the library is connected to the bookstore/spa so you will have to actually go to the lot to see it.

forgot to mention this world is probably good for at least a generation or two

when it comes to ep i used everything the original world uses however at the end of me checking everything i realized the npc house i added into the future bunk beds so if you dont have it its fine. other than that i used every expansion pack ...exclude itf lol

there was cc used i put it in the downloads folder theres a unmerged version and a merged just incase you have something i used and dont wanna mess up the game .

also i HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NRAAS REGISTER/OVERWATCH

Welcome to River Falls!

Located in New England, River Falls started out as Fall River. Due to a terrible murder that rocked this small town, the community decided a new name and new start would be perfect! With the new influx of citizens coming from Binland, the town is sure to thrive again and put the past behind them.

Hanashobu - A teahouse and Martial Arts Academy by Catdog123. It is absolutely beautiful and I use it in almost every single one of my saves and have for years. It was originally just a teahouse on the first floor, but I added the dojo on the second floor and koi pond.

Penelope's Potions - Elixir Consignment store

Tahoe Wilderness Cabin - this is a gorgeous rustic cabin that I have set as a resort. It doesn't have any resort objects on it yet as I figured most would want to edit their resort the way they would like. You can also set it back as a regular lot if you would like to use it as a home. It is fully decorated and furnished. EDIT TO ADD: LOL, it’s also backwards. I have no idea how I missed that. To flip it, save a copy in your bin, delete the lot, then replace the right way with the saved lot from your bin. My apologies, I can’t believe I messed that up eeesh!

The Haunt - A supernatural hangout that includes the Vault, Arboretum, and Gypsy Wagon.

Firehouse 9 - A firehouse themed dance club

Penny Pictures - a hangout where you can watch a movie and play some arcade games built by me 

KNOWN ISSUES

This is a save file that I have made. The original world map I used is Fall River by Roocheysims. I have also uploaded it here

There was a MASSIVE amount of those big oak trees that you can't see through, so I got rid of A LOT. I did not use the CC that is offered with the download, just the map, so it was entirely empty (except for the aforementioned trees and roads) when I started. I added quite a few new lots as well. I have cleaned and cleaned and cleaned this save to try and keep it down, but you can probably clean it before you play it as well. The map is really well made, there are no routing issues or anything I found as I played through to check everything. The only issue I found is that I had to replace some stairs on community lots. I have tried to keep all descriptions for the lots and sims that I didn’t make (if there was any) to give proper credit to the creators. I used some of my favorite lots and also ones I made myself. I have all expansions, all stuff packs, and all store content so I probably used them all.

The only expansion NOT used is PETS because it borks my game to unplayable so I don't use it. This world probably isn't the best for Pets as it is a medium sized world that only had room for 1 or 2 64x64 lots. I'm not sure how it will perform if you use Pets so my apologies for that! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO CC IN THIS SAVE. THE DOWNLOAD INCLUDES THE WORLD AND THE SAVE FILE.

Welcome to Peony Island! Official release!

“ A small island community with endless potential! Lovely houses and tiny shops awaits you in this vacation world” 

Peony Island is my first every world I made completely from scratch and I’m so darn proud of myself! I had a ton of fun making the houses and community lots. 

Some facts before downloading: 

You WILL have to DOWNLOAD the empty version first then the save file coming with this world. You will find it together with the save file.

If you don’t know how to install a save file , here is a quick tutorial: 

“ After you have downloaded the world and made sure it is installed, you can download my save file. To find your save-folder you will have to go to Documents-Electronic Arts-The Sims 3-Saves and put the Peony Island’s save-file folder in there. Then your done! “

OBS! I’m still very new in CAW and thing will seem weird. For example some of the lots are placed too far from the road , so there might be a small gaps. Another example is that there is green grass in the ocean. 

It’s completely CC and store content free. You will need all of the sims 3 expansion packs though , but only that. 

It has all of the base game career’s + the gypsy wagon , the only except is the professional sports/stadium. 

It has 10 residential lots , 2 of them being starter houses around 14,000. 

8 Female & 8 Male young adult sims live on the island. 

 If you want to delete my houses or my sims you are free to do so. 

Please don’t claim any of the houses , sims or the world as your creation , no pay sites either. Happy Simming everyone!

The Sims 3 Modern Aristocracy challenge

Hey guys, I felt inspired yesterday to create a new legacy challenge for the Sims 3. This challenge is for people who literally want their game to be a challenge! It involves many requirements and needs good preparation and a focused mind while playing. I created this challenge because current challenges are too easy for me and get me bored. Besides that I was looking for a new kind of challenge that can provide me with a great storyline. Instead of looking for one, I decided to make one myself!

This is a legacy challenge that can go on for as long as you like, but will take at least 3 generations (1 founder and 2 heirs). Every generation has a bunch of requirements to fulfill until you can move onto the next one. The purpose of this challenge is to create an aristocratic legacy which has all the features of what an aristocratic family would be like if they existed in the modern day sims world. Your legacy will climb up the social ladder of different aristocratic levels and after they reached the top they will work to maintain their status and increase their holdings. Feel free to adjust this challenge to fit it to your liking. 

To do this challenge properly, it's highly recommended to use Nraas story progression since bloodlines are important and you can't count on EA to keep them intact properly. Master controller is also a must have for this challenge to be able to check family trees of sims you aren't controlling.

Before you begin:

- Choose a world. This can be any world, as long as it's populated.  You can populate an empty world yourself, but it needs to have a decent amount of families to start out with.

- Pick 5 households from this world who will be given the Aristocratic tag. Rename them in CAS or however you want to make it more easy for you to remember if you desire, just keep these 5 households written down somewhere so you know who they are. These households are the aristocrats of your world and anyone from their bloodline will have the status of aristocrat as well. Do keep in mind your founder will have to marry someone from these households so pick your aristocrats wisely.

- If you want, use nraas master controller to make all of the aristocrats 3-star celebrities, but this is optional.

- You can place any lots, CC or non-CC into the world. Just make sure there is one empty lot of whatever size left for your founder.

Your founder:

Your founder is an orphan from a different town that came to your current world to try to find some work and survive. They couldn't stay in their old town, because their parents were executed for treason. This is why your founder fled to a land far away in the hopes of starting over and making a decent living. Unfortunately, your founder doesn't have any papers necessary to become an employee at a company or institution, so they can't have a regular job.

Onto the practical requirements: Your founder has to be a young adult human sim. You can pick their traits and LTW. Put your founder on an empty lot and then use the familyfunds cheat to set their familyfunds to 0 simoleons. You will be starting this challenge from scratch! Your founder is not allowed to have a rabbit hole job or profession. They have to be either self employed or completely unemployed.

It is your founders purpose to marry into one of the aristocrat families you picked out. Of course, to even be noticed by these families your founder needs to fulfill some requirements first. Your founder can't interact (on purpose) with any of the aristocrats until the following requirements are completed:

1. Build a fully functional house on your lot with a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, a garden and a dining area. Your house needs to have at least 5 paintings hanging on the walls and one sculpture in the garden. These can either be made or bought.

2. Have at least 10k simoleons cash

3. Become friends with at least three commoner sims in town (since you can't befriend the aristocrats yet).

4. Have a partnership with a building (this can be any building. The vault of antiquity or the gypsy wagon are the cheapest ones).

While fulfilling these requirements, your founder has to stay virgin. They can have romantic interests, but can't have a boyfriend or girlfriend and can't woohoo or kiss in public with them. Their focus should be fully on getting money and making a name in town by making friends and getting a partnership. Once the requirements above are fulfilled, you are allowed to become friends with one aristocrat family. Their bloodline will from then on be the 'lesser nobles', unless they intermarry with the other aristocrats of course. You can now marry and have children. After marriage, your founder is allowed to have any kind of job and they can become friends with any of the other lesser nobles (if they exist).

Now that your founder is a lesser noble, he or she has to continue to expand their influence before their heir is allowed to take over and marry/have children themselves. These are the requirements:

1. Complete the LTW of your founder if you haven't done that yet.

2. Complete the LTW of your founder's spouse. You may change this one if it's not suitable.

3. Get at least 2 celebrity stars with your founder (optional).

4. Have at least 50k cash.

5. Own the building that you have a partnership with.

6. Become friends with your spouse's entire original household (if there are any). Neglect your commoner friendships, they are below your social status now! Don't invite them over anymore not even for parties. Unless necessary for your job, don't interact with commoners anymore.

7. Complete a career with your founder.

8. Have a portrait or sculpture of your founder.

Your heirs:

Choosing a heir is completely dependent on you, but you do need consistency in the way you choose your heir like in any aristocratic family. You can go for the old-fashioned oldest male or oldest child, or you can make it the oldest female, have a poll and let others decide who becomes heir, whatever you like. Just make sure you choose something and stick to it! Children out of wedlock (bastards) can't become heir, neither can any children with a non-human life state. Non-human sims can live in the household, but they aren't allowed to have any children themselves and if they do because you kicked them out and story progression gave them some, they aren't considered part of the legacy bloodline which means your aristocrat family also can't interact with them. Bastards who leave the household and any of their offspring are also considered to be commoners unless they marry into other aristocrat families.

Once your founder has completed all their requirements, your heir becomes the man or woman of the house and they will be the ones to continuing gaining influence. Before any heir can get married to a new aristocrat they have to fulfill these requirements:

1. Befriend all or if there are too many a minimum of 3 nobles of your current social status (lesser, regular or higher nobles). If any of them married a commoner, those commoners are now nobles as well and you can befriend them. If any of them married another aristocrat family above your status, you can't interact with them.

2. Increase the minimum cash-amount with 25k (so for your first heir that'd be 75k)

3. Be at least a 2-star celebrity (optional)

4. Own a property

5. have at least 1 house servant (like a maid, a butler, a plumbot, etc.).

6. Have a portrait or sculpture of your heir

After fulfilling these requirements for your first heir, pick 2 aristocrat bloodlines that your family can befriend and marry. These are considered regular nobles. You are now a regular noble family and can have children with people from this class. Until the next heir takes over each heir has to fulfill the following requirements:

1. Complete the LTW of your heir

2. Complete the LTW of their spouse

3. Complete a career with your heir

4. Increase your amount of cash with 50k (so for your first heir that'd be 125k)

5. Be at least a 3-star celebrity (optional)

6. Become friends with your spouse's entire original household (if there are any). Neglect friendships with any nobles of lesser status that aren't part of the nuclear family (siblings and parents of any spouse are considered nuclear family. Any other family is extended family and has to be ignored).

7. Upgrade your property to 3 stars

When these requirements are fulfilled, the next heir can take over and start fulfilling the before-marriage requirements. Your 2nd heir will unlock access to the two higher noble bloodlines. From then on, you can only marry higher nobles (so anyone who's family tree can be traced back to those two original aristocrat households that you saved for last. With nraas story progression on, they should have enough descendants by now). Every heir needs to buy and upgrade a new property. If you play with the celebrity option and like a challenge, you can try to pump up the requirement to becoming a 4 or 5 star celebrity, but this might be too time consuming considering all the other requirements.

It's game over when your founder/heir didn't manage to fulfill all the requirements before they die or are too old to have children. Anything that will increase the lifespan of your founder or heirs is off limits, so are death flowers. When a heir dies, next in line can take over unless they already moved out. Keep in mind that your household can only purposely interact with sims of the same aristocrat status. Work relations or school friendships are excluded from this but these friendships have to be dropped as soon as the sims leave school or if the sims don't work together anymore. If you aren't sure whether the sim you interact with is of the proper status, use master controller to check out their family tree. (click on the sim, and go to NRaas / MasterController / Basic / Family Tree).

Extra option for storytellers:

For storytellers it can be interesting to create romantic interests and friendships outside of a sim's social status. For example: a high noble who falls in love with a commoner, etc. These kind of friendships or love interests are allowed, as long as they stay secret. This means that the two sims can't meet in public places and can't be seen together by their families.

This challenge might sound complicated with all the figuring out of a sim's social status before becoming friends or lovers with them, but that's the aristocrat life! It was all about planning marriage and friendships for the benefit of a family back then, so that's what this challenge simulates. Any suggestions to polish this challenge or to enrich it are more than welcome!

YA Hasan!

Long post ahead everyone.

Ok, first off. Two fun pictures.

Christopher got this letter from the Grim Reaper

And Ulz sculpted this. It’s a fountain, and you can’t see it in the picture, but the water for the fountain was actually flowing. 

Now, Hasan is going to be the main sculptor/painter,photographer for this Dynasty, but his father, Cycl0n3 also liked to sculpt in his later years.

Remember how in an earlier update, I said I messed up and Hasan was supposed to be a girl? The plan was to make ‘her’ and Ulz get together and generation three come from those two. But I obviously messed up on that. So I decided that with Ulz I would find an original townie girl to be his spouse and they would have a kid who would marry generation three.

So he met Sandi French.

And convinced her to move in so I could give her a makeover.

And they got together.

She came into the household about 15 days from being an elder, but because she’s a spare who’s only purpose is to bring forth a child, I’ve put off her having a kid until the last possible moment.

Soon after this, Tamara died at the age of 94 days.

She didn’t exactly want to go... First death of the dynasty is always sad, but had to happen for the dynasty to go on.

So here’s something cute.

Dink also aged up to elder, but is still going strong!

Hasan also (finally got to age up to young adult.

And made a funny face.

I didn’t get a picture of him in the wardrobe, but here he is in his new outfit.

He also graduated.

He got valedictorian and most likely to be a rock star. He’s graduating on the side of the road because I accidentally canceled the graduation thing, but it saved time at least.

So Immortal Dynasty tip time. Other players swear by the self employed careers for their sims, but I can’t stand them. So I do rabbit holes, but there is only one rabbit hole career that has painting as a skill(that I own), and that’s forensic artist in the police track. With no athletics or logic or writing though, that career is horrible. I had already given business to Julia, so Hasan had to find something that wasn’t self employed, forensic artist, or business. And if you have supernatural, Fortune Teller is a good choice in my opinion. Alchemy is the skill used for it, and is not a good supermax because of how few opportunities there are for the skill, so I’m putting Hasan there.

Sorry that’s long, but more game stuff. 

A bit after Hasan aged up, Cycl0n3 died.

He had been in the middle of tutoring Ulz in logic when it happened. But what was really sad was that he was only 91. Really young.

But I needed him to go. Remember my plan above to have Ulz marry an original townie? I wanted Hasan to do that as well. Except one problem. They’re all aging up. I was originally thinking about bringing Lisa Bunch in, but she turned Elder before Hasan was even a YA, so I did some looking.

Sweet Sandi was friends with Bella Bachelor.

The became even better friends that Bella moved in. 

I expected her to be old, but I was kinda surprised when I saw that she only had five days until elderhood.

So as soon as Hasan came home from work, they got busy.

Their first kiss.

Was directly followed by getting engaged.

Then getting married.

Then working on that baby. They hadn’t even known each other for a full day before it all happened.

Bella got pregnant, and a few days later Sandi also did, but I forgot to take pictures.

But after a few relaxing days, Bella gave birth to a baby boy,

it has a consignment shop , festival ground , campground , park , garden area, somewhat of a beach , bar , gym/cafe

the library is connected to the bookstore/spa so you will have to actually go to the lot to see it.

forgot to mention this world is probably good for at least a generation or two

when it comes to ep i used everything the original world uses however at the end of me checking everything i realized the npc house i added into the future bunk beds so if you dont have it its fine. other than that i used every expansion pack ...exclude itf lol

there was cc used i put it in the downloads folder theres a unmerged version and a merged just incase you have something i used and dont wanna mess up the game .

OAKSOAK HOLLOW 2020

Oaksoak Hollow update is available :)

As previously said, we reworked the world to be more playable ... It is quite a large world, unpopulated with 60 pre-installed lots ( 34 Community lots and 26 Residential lots ) The complete listing and the credits for some lots we used is on our website. Most of the community lots are homemade by the k-hippie team ;)

We tested and played 3 weeks long on 2 different computers ( one Mac and one PC ) in this world and didn’t get any problem at all. So, we suppose everything will run fine for you ;)

Maybe you already know : Oaksoak Hollow is based on Hidden Springs where we changed almost everything : the terrains, the lots, the look and feel, the ambiance, the population, etc ... until we get what we wanted : a kind of Mystic Falls ( from the TV show ) for the Sims. So ......... Many supernatural are floating around in this 2020 update :)

To avoid any confusion with the previous version of Oaksoak Hollow, we renamed ALL the lots which begin now with the name : mystic

To get the whole stuff working fine, here a short todo list :

- Uninstall the previous version of Oaksoak Hollow

- We use some rabbit holes : some are ours ( link here ) the others are Jynx doors rabbit holes. They must be installed BEFORE installing the world itself. They are .package and must be installed inside your Mod folder.

- To avoid a well known and common problem in the Sims 3, you should install the Festival Lot once the world is installed and played.

- To be sure to avoid any bug, we removed the Oaksoak Hollow University from the pre-installed lots. You shouldn’t have any problem if you install it in your game after everything else.

That’s all. EVERYTHING else is running smooth :)

As already said in the 2 previous posts, we had to make choices to render the world smoother to play : Even we loved the previous City Hall, we replace it with a Maxis one. Idem with the Police Station, the Military Base and the Hospital. But do not worry, you’ll find everything is fitting really well ;)

We hope you’ll get much fun to play this World and imagine dark and mysteries because, indeed there is dark history floating inside Oaksoak Hollow ...

We are glad to have updated our 2 worlds. Now, we can begin to think about new creations and for sure, it will be a very different world :D

Sims 3 Rabbit Holes Square Rugs

Based on Jynx’s Rabbitholes, we decided to make our own Rabbit Holes.
We needed these RH for Oaksoak Hollow and we didn’t need them circle: if you need to create your own community lot, those rugs are the solution you were looking for. Put them with your other .packages into your Mods folder :)


And you know what? Do whatever you want with them: use them, share them, don't share them. Just have fun!

Those 18 Rabbit Holes are made with a brand new mesh and fully recolourable ...

When I got through with those lots, I tweaked some more of the rabbithole lots – which consists of just changing out plants.

Then I did this lot, which I placed on that empty commercial lot next to the Stewart house. (Right across the street from Simagon Alley). It’s another MTS lot by pancake101 called Trick N’ Treats. It was mostly set up as a deco lot, but I decided to make it useful. So, it is now the town ice cream and sweets shop.

Outside there were a gazillion fog emitters that I deleted – mostly because none of the other community lots in this section have any. Then I got rid of all the vegetation. And added a table and chairs set on the porch. And some parking in the back.

Inside I left it sort of the way it was – although I got rid of all the toys. In the original, the section where the tables and chairs are now was a mini-toy store. Since this is now an ice cream shop, I didn’t need them.

Then I deleted the counter where he/she had placed a deco register and put the ice cream thingie from Around the Sims 3. I also added those 2 counters and placed that chocolate thingie and a coffee machine. Since the Katy Perry set doesn’t have a regular counter, I used one from that old Storybook set, then just recolored it, using the Katy Perry island counter as a guide. 

And viola! Done!

Then, out by the cemetery I placed pancake101’s vampire lounge, called the Blood Bank. I got rid of the tombstones and a lot of the foliage. The tombstones, because it’s right next door to the cemetery, so they seemed redundant. The plants because OMG!!! There were a gazillion of them. I did leave the fog emitters here, just because this part of town is a bit spookier. Inside I pretty much left it alone.

Then I went over to that one fishing lot – Blackfish Pond, or some such nonsense. After replacing all the plants, I had a big open area, so I decided to put that gypsy wagon there, along with a couple more trees. This lot looks really pretty in-game. And it’s all thanks to technicallyswagpizza and that woodland set. I think I’ve used it on almost every lot in this town so far. So THANK YOU!
