#sims 3 expansion packs

I’ve come to the rather depressing realisation that realistically I’ll never get to play the sims the same as I did when I was a kid, I can’t afford the expansion packs I used to have and I never registered all my packs to my sims 3 account, all the registration codes that came with the games were thrown away years ago. I hate that I won’t be able to experience the same game that got me through my childhood, I hate that I can’t go to Paris with my sims anymore or have my sims live in Bridgeport. Like I can still play the base game and the few expansions I have but it’s not the same, it’s not the game that let me escape, it’s not the game that let little me live vicariously through my sims.

It might be stupid to be so upset about this but the sims 3 genuinely saved my life a few times, it was what I asked for every birthday, it was my safe space and I miss it so much.

do what you want forever and all but when you're writing an AU please remember to take into consideration the ramifications of what you're altering, like if mcr was never a band in this timeline, then you gotta adjust the accent your portuguese children characters are speaking to be portuguese portuguese instead of brazilian portuguese. if fob never went to any vmas then you need to come up with a different excuse for shakira to have been bitten by a monkey.

thanks to this wonderful video, i learned how to get access to all of the sims 4 expansions totally legally. if you don't wanna go through all those steps, you might just be able to get them, too, if you follow this link...

V5 is nearing completion!!

Today, I am finishing up my list of the last mods I am planning on adding to V5! This is a momentous occasion! I began work on V5 in February or March of this year, and now as it is nearing completion, I am in awe of what I have created! The Washburn Edition is EVERYTHING I wish Sims 4 had been. With a stable game, expansive and immersive gameplay, and heavily improved graphics all running on my little Samsung Galaxy laptop!

I created my Washburn Edition Mods list out of my passion and frustration with the Sims 3, and my vision and hope of what this game could become. This game has gotten me through so many rough patches in my life, as I know it has for all of you. It has been and continues to be my privilege to bring this game into the present and support it into the future!

I still have a LOT of work ahead of me. A lot of testing and fine tuning, and eventually formatting the Mods List before release. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to work on it, make a new YouTube Video, or even play the game. I have a lot of changes going on in my life right now -all positive!- and it hasn't left me with very much spare time for my passions.

EA canceling The Sims 5 because they don't want "players to have to restart a decade’s worth of gameplay after ‘THE SIMS 4’" is like if Rockstar said they're canceling GTA 6 because they don't want players to restart 11 years worth of gameplay after GTA 5

I haven't played the Sims 3 in ages but I remember many of the packs fondly. Curious to hear your answer to this question!

Hmm this is a tough one. For the most part, I agree with pretty much every opinion the community has around the least liked expansion pack (Showtime) but I don't really hear anyone saying much about the stuff packs. Fast Lane Stuff was, for the longest time, the only stuff pack I owned and that was because I just wanted more variety with cars. It's pretty mediocre as far as the stuff packs go as there's not much in it, yet I have a soft spot for it because it was the only one I had for so long. I bought it when it came out and then I didn't buy another stuff pack until like 2022 when I switched to Steam and bought the bundle. Plus, I really like that rockabilly-type dress and the little racing jumpsuit/romper that came with it. I don't feel like it was worth the price I paid for it back in the day but then again none of the stuff packs really were/are and I only own them now for completionist's sake. If you were to ask me what my favorite stuff pack is, I'd say that one just out of nostalgia.

I don't understand how people can play Sims 4 and spend thousands of dollars on dlcs on it when gems such as sims 3 and Sims 2 exist and are "very easily downloaded from the internet" *cough cough*

Sims 3 gave me little dragons and vampires and fairies and unicorns what did sims 4 give to you, you so called "free thinker"???

Best Sims expansion pack

That's always hard to answer!!

For Sims 1: for it's always been a tie between Superstar and Makin' Magic. Both were so fun and added tons of new objects, gameplay goals and interactions!

Sims 2: I usually say Open For Business, because this was a real game-changer (ha, literally) that finally made the neighborhoods so much more communal. Your Sims can start all types of businesses which gives it so much more of a real feeling than game-generated NPCs. Although I will say Apartment Life is my 2nd Place choice.

Sims 3:...honestly, I can't really think of a "best" one. I don't have all of the EPs, but I feel like that game benefits from the amalgamation of many EPs working together. I got in Sims 3 a bit later than when it first came out and got a bunch of EPs all at once, so I'm not sure how the Base Game felt and how the EPs added to that too much. Maybe Ambitions is the best to me? I do like having more control over my Sims' jobs and all that.

Sims 4:.... I've never played it! I've heard it's a but of a hot mess of EPs and stuff packs that each don't offer too much on their own (typical DLC/transactional modern gaming these days...sigh). Anyone out there who's played TS4, what do you think was the best EP?
