happy birthday to you, simscord! on this day in 2022, @skittlesplays created the most iconic sims discord server ever. to celebrate the beginning of its 3rd year in this sinful world, have a very special gift i made for my fellow 'shrimpscordians': the shrimpsday cake! 🥳

this should go very well with my shrimpsmas collection! it is essentially @balkopat's white birthday cake recolored to look a bit more 'shrimpsy', and decorated using @surely-sims' inflatable wedding arch from their my wedding trauma collab with @ice-creamforbreakfast, plus dozens of lil shrimp toys from their 2023 advent calendar!

the cake is of course fully functional, has all states, and should be edible! it has 7873 polys and is recolorable, but for now only has the 1 swatch pictured; feel free to add your own.

here's to another year of wonderful memories and shrimpsy insanity, simscord! 🥂 blow out your candles, do the twirl, and age up!

Glowy Dew's Skincare Functional for The Sims 2

I finally found out how to do an overlay box and managed to make this object. The original item is from the 4to2 Bathroom Kit by LordCrumps (I changed the guid so you can have both deco and functional version in your game, all recolors included), while masks and eye patches are from IcedMango and jsasimmer.

With this object your teen to elder, male and female, sims can apply 5 different kind of Face Masks and 2 Eye Patches. When they apply them, they perform the animation of the Zit Cream and the Comfort will increase. When they wash out the masks, the Hygiene motive will increase.

The object can be found in Plumbings-Miscellaneous section of Buy Mode. It costs 40 simoleon and every applied mask costs 20 simoleon.

"BodyCaptureX500" Functional Scale for TS2!

So i made my first functional object for this game, it was a wild ride! But it was so fun too, this object is a scale that can tell the weigh of your Sims in fitness points, the more they have, the more they weight, the less they have, they are fitter. And also tells your Sim's fitness decay if you have Nopke's fitness decay mod, so really useful for gameplay or just decor! ⚖️

Functional Portal Gun

Aperture Science is proud to present you the Portal Gun. This device is designed to solve challenging tests in the Aperture Science test chambers and, with the results obtained, to further update the device in order to take the "Best Science Laboratory" award from Black Mesa. This mod transforms the Simray object in the game into the Portal Gun. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to access the original Simray in the game while using this mod (at least I couldn't manage it). If you would be able to help me in this situation i will appreciate it!

I've set myself the challenge of filling a whole Sims 2 neighbourhood with only lots made using shell challenges (or similar) and I've been having a blast! Most of the shells are "converted" from The Sims 4, but if you have any favourite old shell challenges from any Sims game, please do link me!

So far I'm sort of bouncing between going off the vibe of the shell's shape, going off any additional rules from the original challenge (e.g. "make it a family home"), and going off what kinds of lots the neighbourhood still needs. It's added a lot of variety to how I approach making lots as well as been a lot of fun!

And it also prompted me to make this hideous thing:
