Pet Shop Boys gave Kylie a way to become her successful self. Then again, I'm unsure how to perceive Light Years. Was this her way of retreating to what worked in the past or was this actually a successful upgrade of the latter? Let's be honest about something – the album does function better than Impossible Princess, because the LP feels more cohesive. She's still in conversation with the pop music at the time, yet she lets her personality shine more on that one in comparison to the previous disc, which found her adrift despite that actually fitting the soundscapes on Impossible Princess, so perhaps a false reading of the that one was the problem, while this one seemed obvious? Nonetheless, one can't deny the results as she entered the pop royalty tryout status with Light Years.

Bitches complain about fandoms being dead but don't post about it themselves. Or even encourage the 4 or 5 writers breaking their backs carrying that fandom, with a like, a reblog or comment.
