     “Why not?”

     Response comes quickly, and there is little question that the hug is not dropping any time soon. Not that there would be reason to; Minato’s tone is neither annoyed nor exasperated, but alight with amusement perhaps? There is a pleasantly dull and breathy chuckle that preceded his words and gave him the affirmation that indeed, the contact was acceptable, well received even. He had thought to surprise him suddenly, a hug strong enough he could lift Minato from his feet and entice one of those ( adorable ) sounds from him, but this is just as good a response. Before there is time to answer though, Ryoji hums something soft, as though in thought, and rests his chin over the other’s shoulder.

     “Well, I suppose for starters, you’re just the perfect size... and you’re so soft, perfect for hugging!” A pause, a light tilt of the head so he can better see Minato’s face. “And, I mean, I love you ! I’d be a poor partner if I went around doing absolutely nothing with you, yeah?”

Rather than supplying an answer, Katsuya promptly lifts his head and looks Minato's way, his mouth already pursed with the beginnings of refusal. It's quite all right, he's about to say. I'll make it myself, and should I make some for you, too?

But there is warmth in his belly that halts his voice—a pleasing feeling that isn't just gratitude. It's the most selfish kind of tribute; a part of Katsuya is revelling in the stroke to his ego that comes from knowing Minato wants to do something for him, however small.

So he bites his tongue. He grants himself permission, just this once, to be terribly greedy, and tries not to sound too ruffled when he replies, "I usually take it black."

I'm not super active in Transformer fandom spaces, but my first fics were Transformer fics and I still read them when the mood hits me. I have about 8 published transformer fics and I watched several different shows growing up. Most of my old Transformer fics are on the way-backburner, but I do have one I'd like to finish called "I know why the caged bird sings".

      lmao hi I’m here to remind everyone that Hamuko is lowkey Clingy AF ™

     it doesn’t usually manifest to its fullest extent with people who aren’t her brother ( and this happens with ALL of them, but @silverlyre and @hekigankiseki​ post-revival definitely see the worst of it, ) but even close friends will start to notice how she’ll physically gravitate to stand as close to them as possible when they talk to her, and she will OFTEN hug or link arms with female friends when she’s feeling affectionate —— which is always. close male friends don’t get hugs as often and won’t see her link her arm around theirs unless one or both parties is particularly distraught, but she will be a lot more free with invading their personal space a la giving gentle elbow nudges, ruffling their hair, poking them playfully, etc.

     romantic partners, however, will be the first to note that Hamuko is a pathological draper. if she’s settled into a romantic relationship with someone, she’ll be practically wrapped around them at any and all given opportunities in private, and will still be incredibly persistent in chasing some form of physical contact in public ( hand holding and arm linking are the most common. )
