I see this as a win, tbh. As long as they aren't dead it means we can imagine whatever we want till the third season comes out. Canon has left the building and fandom can take over.

I agree! I was truly, genuinely convinced that Knox wasn't making it out of the finale. His doom is basically the foundation of all the Knox/Shirley stories I've written. So the fact that he's still kicking is a wild recalibration, but ultimately, a good thing!

I don't know what their relationship is, but hell. That's what fic is for.

-Iain Glen what an actor you are, you will be missed. Heartbreaking exit, the clock as a symbol for his limited time but also as a countdown for Juliette coming back... His final words about how Juliette has been perfect the way she is and that she will never stop fighting...

The same thing she says to Solo when she leaves his Silo. The way Juliette talks about her people and mentions her dad.

- Solo and Juliette hug. Oh my goodness. So many emotions there. Solo not knowing what hugging is like, where to place himself but Juliette pushing herself closer. That's powerful. The connection with the previous scene with the suit testing from Solo - her appreciation and gratefulness for this innocent adult and his unpredictable manners, a guy who at his core is heartwarming but was afraid and traumatized for so long.

- Bernard's story. He's been played for fool. The irony that he sacrificed Meadows, her last wish being to go out, and now him making the exact same decision as her. The striking realization that it was all for nothing.

- Camille Sims!!! (behind strong man hides a powerful woman)

- Walker's story to Benard, the confusion of whether Knox, Shirley and the rest had actually found out Walker was the snitch, the 5,4,3,2,1, and Bernard laughing. That was dramatic INDEED!

- Lukas Kyle - we love you for your brains!

- Juliette on that hill. Her cleaning and showing the message! Bernard and Juliette going to opposite directions and ending Into the Fire not only literally but also as a metaphor for their differences and how they end up fighting for "survival" in the heated circumstances they faced throughout the season.

Ngl watching the first ep of s2 feels like watching a Dr. Stone episode of one of those survival shows. Istg tho Silo is such a love letter to all engineers out there.

Also. YESSSSS for the Shirley/Juliette chemistry. It was obvi to me first season, but it's telling how they got great tension even when they be aparttt. Juliette is the reason why Shirl’s acting up thank u for confirming Knox!!

Speaking of tension tho, Bernard and Meadows in this season is just oooooooh. 👀 Gotta love characters with a rich history w an undercurrent of an affection, frayed and tattered bond barely holding them together.

So, wait, are they just together? Because... what. I mean, I'll take it? But... what?

(Good finale! Better than I expected, even as the way the show tells story is just bonkers to me. But boy, did Things Happen.)
