One thing I admittedly haven't gotten around to deciding if in this AU it's only Eclipse that exists, or if they can phase into Sunny & Moon as well.. (As all the concept art I've made only really features Eclipse so far.) But I'm super open to you depicting whoever you'd like with her! I would never turn down a Princely Sunny or Moon hehe~ 💞✨

So answer your questions.. I feel like the answer to your first, is kinda a mix of both! The bond I always thought about for my OC Bunny and the DCA's in any AU is partly built on the concept of appreciating the little things in life. Really valuing slice of life moments and finding utmost bliss and joy in those said moments. Be it a rainy day in and making a pillow fort or acting silly together while they go hang laundry to dry outside. Bunny is really sappy and would be over the moon (hehe 🌙) over any gesture. Be it a simple sweet picnic and getting her flowers, or serenading and dancing with her, she'd get really sentimental and find both pretty big and sweet gestures. She would be so genuinely happy and elated. So honestly them putting thought into planning anything for her would be going all out regardless! But where they are a really sappy couple, I'd like to think they would get really into to adding on any extra sweet touches~ (Sorry if that doesn't help narrow down the exact vibe you need. I just get sentimental over everything haha)

For your next question.. For Eclipse at least, I don't think they'd be freaking out in a panicked type way. But rather brimming with internal giddiness at surprising her! Managing to stay somewhat cool and collected about it, but not completely hehe. Maybeee they'd be a smidge nervous and antsy at most! They probably feel secure in their decisions because they know her well, but there's always the, 'what if' in the back of their head of somehow letting her down maybe. But they mostly keep it together! (Let me know if you'd like answers for Sunny and Moon)

I have an overall synopsis for the AU I wrote a while ago that I can share with you below that I hope can help a little! It's a bit rough as I was mostly just getting thoughts down!

Sooo~

once upon a time ✨somewhere✨

there is a kingdom, where animatronics and humans co-exist. no real stress/wars/giant conflict. all that happened a long time ago, if at all.

the kingdom is always ruled by one human, and one animatronic. meant to symbolize the peace and equality of both species~ gender does not matter. it's a very queer, chill place. stuff no one questions ❤️

Next in line to rule is a human princess, Bunny~ (not sure if I'll make her full name Bonita or something royal-esq like that. we'll see)

She's in her early-mid twenties (Because down with forcing teens to get married fdjkfj) and coming to a point where her parents are trying to encourage her to find a betrothed to rule beside her next. they host a lot of balls and events hoping she'll socialize and meet someone.

however, (how aware of it her parents are is undecided rn fjd) she finds this difficult since she personally has a lot of sadness in her heart. despite the kingdom being peaceful and cool for the most part, she still acknowledges a lot of unkindness in the world. how quick people are to judge, and how cruel people can be over such trivial things due to made up "standards". and just how hurtful humanity can be in general. she reflects on this stuff a lot and it troubles her deeply.

she often feels alone in a lot of the things that make her herself.

she also struggles a lot with confidence, anxiety, and self worth. she's very insecure.

because of the these things, she's not very hopeful she'll find a partner who will truly like and love her as she truly is.

these things aren't ideal for her with what's expected of her as a ruler. as she is meant to be a symbol of hope, laughter and happiness in the kingdom.

all that said, her parents recognize she is unhappy and struggling socially at the gatherings. so they enlist a local✨ jester ✨ to accompany her to these events. someone to be her friend, escort, and cheer her up/calm her nerves while mingling.

they see this works and keep inviting the jester back to accompany her. at banquets, balls, social gatherings/events.

But it's this very jester who takes the time to get to know her, and value and appreciate all the things she can't about herself. and that she struggles to believe others could, that wins her over~ because they end up seeing and loving her just as she is.

because along the way, they also helped her fall in love with life and showed her how fun and beautiful it can be~ as well as help her see things in herself worth appreciating too. 💖 and of course it's every little thing she gets to know about them she falls head over heels for, every bit of their silliness.. she just never, not for one second, thought she'd be deserving of them reciprocating her affections back~ 💞✨

side note; haven't decided if it's Eclipse all the time orrrr if it switches between all three of them depending on circumstance/time of day/etc. fjdkfjf

Alright, but I apologize in advance because it’s not as cute the video I reblogged lol. This is also gonna be kinda long, so sorry for that, too.

So first, we need the backstory. I’ve liked my fiancée since I was 15, since the first time I saw them in the hallway at high school. However, I didn’t really talk to them because 1) I didn’t know if they were queer and was too scared to ask, and 2) I was stuck with this guy who was an asshole who I let treat me like shit for 2 years. So nothing happened between us until spring semester of senior year when we had a math class together. I got them to come sit next to me in class and then with me and my friend group at lunch. For the next few months, we both started to realize we liked each other, and it wasn’t until one day at lunch (March 11th, to be exact) that we got together by literally SCREAMING back and forth LOL. “DO YOU WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME?!” “YES!” “DO YOU WANT TO BE MY GIRLFRIEND?!” “YES!!” And then we both went home not knowing if the other was being serious or not 😂😂😂 However, we texted that night and confirmed that yeah, we both wanted to be with the other person. Then I bought them a pineapple, the smallest and cutest one I could find, and gave it to them because the day after we got together, they jokingly told me, “Buy me a pineapple so I know it’s forreal” 🤣 We moved pretty fast after that.

Anyways, after 3.5 months, I realized I was head over heels in love with this person, and I was getting impatient, especially since we had talked about marriage before. In one of our conversations about marriage, they told me if I ever proposed to them, I should do it with pasta since one of their favorite foods is chicken alfredo. Well, when I had decided I was gonna propose to them, I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to cook alfredo that night, so I decided to make them an engagement ring (didn’t have the money for a “real” one yet) out of polymer clay; it was a little plate of spaghetti and meatballs (lame idea, I know), which I know isn't alfredo, but whatever they like spaghetti, too lol. If I can find a picture of it, I’ll add it on to this post. I also got them fake daffodils because they’re their favorite, and they hate getting real flowers because they die so you can’t keep them. I put the ring around the bouquet of daffodils to hold them together. We got pizza for dinner that night, so I wrote “Will you marry me?” inside the pizza box. When they opened the box, I pulled out the bouquet and pointed out the ring. They asked if I was being serious 😂😂😂 I said I was, and they said YES!!! 💞 And the timing was great because two days later (June 26th), same-sex marriage got legalized! Unfortunately, they don't have the ring or flowers anymore as they got kicked out about a week later for being with a girl, and their "parents" threw out most of their stuff 😟 On the bright side, they're living with me now and are safe here. We’ve been living together for a little over 3 years now, and it’s been amazing. We do everything together, know everything about each other, adopted a cat together, and are just…really fucking happy 💖💞💗💕💝. I’m so lucky to have someone as wonderful, gorgeous, loving, and caring as them. They light up my world on a daily basis. My life would honestly be incomplete without them in it; I love them soooo much!! 💖💖💖
