let's do our part in protesting against the brutal rape and murder of RG Kar PGT doctor who was on a 36 hour shift on Friday, 9th August when she was resting alone in a room. please read the entire post even though it's long.
if you don't know what happened, the 31 year old woman had been gang raped (both before and after murder), and tortured to such an extent which cannot be explained. afterwards, the authorities and police first tried to cover it up by telling her parents it's a suicide but later it was revealed not to be so. it is a case of rape and homicide.
(i) speculations are that the girl had possibly become privy to some unlawful work going on at the hospital during night shifts, and hence to silence her, all this was done.
(ii) parents were refused to be allowed to see their daughter's body until after 3 hours of their arrival. they had to beg and plead for their basic rights.
(iii) what's more is that her body was burned by the police without taking the consent of her parents, possibly to erase evidences in case a second post mortem was to be done.
(iv) the girl's father has also reported to the high court, the fact that the DGP called him up and asked him not to take matters forward and just settle it amongst themselves.
(v) the person who has been arrested for this incident is speculatively just a scapegoat who has been paid to take the blame for something done by a larger group of people, probably under the protection of the syndicate ran in West Bengal by the government.
Post Mortem report of the victim (which again, was conducted by RG Kar doctors themselves, and we don't know if some details are intentionally being hidden or not
The postmortem report of the trainee doctor raped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital revealed that she was throttled to death. Her thyroid cartilage was broken due to strangling and a deep wound was found in her private parts, the four-page report said. Sources said the murder and rape likely took place between 3 am and 5 am on August 9.
Injuries were found on her belly, lips, fingers, and left leg. Sources said the victim's nose and mouth were clamped, and her head was pushed against a wall to prevent her from screaming.
The scratch marks on the woman's face are believed to have been caused by the accused's fingernails, indicating that the victim desperately tried to fight back.
"The mouth and throat were constantly pressed to prevent screaming. The throat was strangled to suffocate. The thyroid cartilage broke due to strangling," the postmortem report said.
The report also mentioned that the woman was bleeding from both eyes, mouth and private parts. The report said the wounds in her private parts were caused by "perverted sexuality" and "genital torture". However, the reason for her eye wound has not been determined yet.
Source of the post mortem
so today (14th August, 2024) at 11:55 PM IST, there is going to be a midnight protest held across Kolkata. women protestors have planned to hold night long agitation across multiple spots in the city. the campaign titled 'Women, Reclaim The Night: The Night Is Ours' is aimed at seeking justice for the sexual assault and murder of the woman doctor. Men have also decided to join the protest in large numbers to show their solidarity with the cause.
The protest will take place simultaneously at the Jadavpur 8B Stand, Academy of Fine Arts, College Street, Sinthee More, Dunlop, Maldah English Bazaar, Siliguri (Darjeeling More).
i know it isn't possible for many of us to attend the protest but let's do our part virtually if not physically. share posts about the incident on your social media, with your friends, relatives. take part in the online campaign going on in social media. at 11:55 PM IST (14th August, 2024) tag your posts with #womenreclaimthenight and #thenightisours.

spread the word to your friends and relatives, do your part this way. indians and non indians, both alike. male, female, non binary, all genders, all alike. raise your voice before it's too late.
because the next victim could be you or any of your loved ones.

[MARVEL RP BLOG]
[If you want you can just read the blue lines to understand what I wrote, but quicker. For a short idea of who I am]
Hi, this is Aynaa, Aynaa Aahat. I am an inhuman. Born in Darjeeling, Siliguri. My mother was from there, and mostly grew up there as well. Ironically blue was always my favourite color, my mother said that I refused to wear anything other than blue on celebrations. If you can guess, i wasnt the most intellectual. Even though I did have a knack for studies. I know four languages, Nepali, Hindi, English and Assamese. All learnt because of pure choice.
I had lost a blue chunni at the age of four, the day I almost missed the train to India searching for it, when I went through terrigenesis, 17 years later, I found it in my American home, I think this has something to do with my elemental powers. Oh what they are? Look below!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d3d24504a7199479c7f60da8d4501248/706ba584de20c61e-c5/s540x810/6995bfffb914831080d4b3b2167a7e08505f7612.jpg)
The story of my life:
When I first moved to Delhi at the age of 17, my biggest issue was the constant language barrier. So I learned Hindi as fast as I could, I thought I would study in Hindi literature but within the first few months, an interest grew in psychology. I read more and more about it... until there was no more to learn. I was over with college. At the age of 21, I finished college and my father took me to America, three months from my first university semester. Unfortunately for me... I took a fish oil pill.
The fish oil pill had Terrigen Crystal bits in it and then and there I went through terrigenesis. Physically, I was the same, but I could hear so much in my head. Words that didn't make sense, languages I didn't know and I yelled out. They stopped. My hands tingled, I brought them out in front of me, a weird sky blue glitter was jittering from my hands and I tried to flail it away. In my 4 years of Psychology, I never learned one bit about this.
I was an Inhuman, but both my parents had had the fish oil pills? I looked at them in disbelief. They broke the news, I was adopted. when my mother was in labour she lost the child, but a woman nearby had passed away from giving birth and her daughter (me) had the same color of hair as she did. So she took me as her own. I enjoy knowing that I wasn't forced upon my parents' lap and that they actually wanted me.
My powers were being able to control air and water, my blue-glittery-smokey-powers, gave me the ability to transform air and water, meaning I could actually 'create' some water to drink when I don't want to get up. It took me two years but I couldn't save myself from S.H.I.E.L.D's radar. They let me know that if I needed them... I would've had them.

My powers:
I can control two elements. Water and Air, not only can I contort the two but also create them out of thin air. To create air I just need to collect it from my surroundings and to create water I just have to compress a certain amount of air and squeeze out the hydrogen and oxygen molecules.
My powers are controlled through my hands. I have a blue, sort of, glittery smoke come out of my hands and that smoke gives me a visual representation of how I'm morphing the elements. Whereas for other elementals, they have invisible powers. Mine are visible.
I can also control temperature. I can heighten it or lower it. Vacuum Chambers will not work on me. I can easily manipulate air inside the place. Everything has gaps. Metal, wood, concrete, cloth. Nothing is ever fully packed. In a solid, there are multiple microscopic gaps and so I can easily manipulate air through those gaps.

[ad_1] GG News Bureau Kolkata, 14th Oct. The hunger strike by junior doctors in West Bengal entered its 10th day on Monday, as they continue to press for their demands in the aftermath of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital incident. The situation took a critical turn with another medic being hospitalised due to deteriorating health, officials reported. Pulastha Acharya, a doctor from NRS Medical College and Hospital, was admitted on Sunday night after experiencing severe stomach pain. “Pulastha is in the CCU, and his health parameters have deteriorated. A medical board has been constituted to monitor his condition,” a senior doctor from the NRS Medical College said. Earlier, three other junior doctors participating in the hunger strike, which spans across Kolkata and Siliguri, had been hospitalised due to declining health. The strike has continued despite interventions from state authorities. Chief Secretary Manoj Pant, in a letter to the Joint Platform of Doctors (JPD) on Sunday, urged them to call off their planned demonstration on October 15, coinciding with the state government’s ‘Durga Pujo Carnival.’ He invited the JPD for discussions at Swasthya Bhawan, the state health department headquarters, on Monday, urging them to reconsider the hunger strike for the sake of the doctors’ health and well-being. The junior doctors have made several demands, including justice for the RG Kar hospital victim, the removal of Health Secretary N S Nigam, and enhanced workplace security. They have also called for a centralised referral system across all state-run hospitals and medical colleges, a bed vacancy monitoring system, and the formation of task forces to ensure provisions like CCTV installations, on-call rooms, and washrooms at their workplaces. The ongoing hunger strike, which began on October 5, follows a nearly 50-day ‘cease work’ agitation held in two phases. The protests were triggered by the tragic incident on August 9, where a postgraduate trainee doctor was raped and murdered inside the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, prompting demands for improved safety measures and accountability within the healthcare system. MY FINAL ATTEMPT :
I moved to Siliguri in July '22 in order to apply one last time for a Bachelor's Degree in life. Even though I was interested in pursuing my English honours, I didn't get admission in NBU (North Bengal University) due to an age barrier but since it wasn't what my family had planned for me, I didn't get to mind it that much and was made to join a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course at Inspiria Knowledge Campus. It was a couple of kilometres away from my aunt's place in the most popular Township there and the college space was so beautiful that I couldn't help but fall in love with it! The orientation saw me making lots of new friends from my own department alongwith the others, since the college incorporates fourteen different educational courses. In the duration of the next few months, we all got to hangout outside the realms of college and spend incredibly fun times together.
One of the first few things that I did to keep myself productive through the years was join three extracurricular clubs namely Inspiria TV, Toastmasters (Siliguri college chapter) and the Literary Club. It was a great one year tenure under the able guidance of our esteemed faculty but the opportunities in my own department seemed to be narrowing down because of the same so I left all the clubs one by one after getting to work on various projects and representing myself on stage or camera many a times, running a marathon, working out at the gym, anchoring an event outside college, meeting even newer people, traveling and spending time with my family and those I can call upon as friends, sharing great conversations or even going out by myself! The mental triggers I struggled with included having to study alongwith kids that were younger than me, losing my sense of self and the personality I'd worked on rebuilding before a tormenting break-up, working on myself all over again like my entire life amounted to nothing and I was nobody. Recovering from a heartbreak though was the most challenging part of it all, despite relying on many a people to bring myself out of the same. Time flew us by like none of it ever happened, the good, the bad, the ugly.
I survived my time there like it was the most difficult ordeal I've been faced with in my life but I got through to this end somehow till the evening that my internship interview finally happened.
