HEAR me out. Devils Minion Silent Hill 2 AU with Armand as James, Young Daniel as Mary and Old Daniel as Maria.

Maybe it’s post turning young Daniel and old Daniel is what Armand wanted Daniel to become and no longer can be.

Armand’s Maria is Daniel having lived a long life unburdened by vampirism.

Either this or another scenario that works more with old Daniel being turned ala the show

I have many thoughts on this and will continue to think on it!

still thinking who would be eddie and who would be the brown haired girl (i forgot her name)

maria would just be sonya because her being someone like cassie would be weird

ten year old cassie would replace the young girl

johnnys slowly going in fucking sane as he suffers through all the creations of silent hill as he slowly uncovers his repressed memories. Sonya dying on a mission was something he crafted in his mind, rather than acknowledging how he strangled and smothered her to death

Most fics I see that include Laura usually have her in a Leave ending adjacent story/AU/universe, but I keep thinking about what would happen to her if you look at the In Water ending instead. I dunno it's been a while since I actively looked at silent hill stuff again; not including last year- the last time I played/looked at a silent hill game it was a good handful of years ago... She clearly wouldn't have a way to go home after the In Water ending because her initial ride, Eddie, isn't there to provide it for her and James wouldn't be able to either... Instead of coming up with a bad end for her, I thought it'd be kinda neat to see her run into Travis Grady who is passing the area as a trucker again, who can drive her to safety. Or maybe, because the lakeview hotel is on the other side of the lake, she's able to run towards Old and Central Silent Hill (based on fan map mashups) and stumble upon members of the cult who take her in, which in turn would be a bad ending again but... ehe woops I even started spitballing to a dear friend of mine and wondered if the town could make a manifestation similar to Maria to guide her to safety or keep her company. Bonus points if it's just Maria.

What’s your take on Pyramid Head Leo? Basically a Silent Hill AU take of Future!Leo which looks neat lol

Hahaha actually back in early 2023, I was listening to Silent Hill 2 music while looking at fan art of Leo with a triangle head when the idea suddenly struck me and I looked to my poor cat and yelled Pyramid Head Leo!!! (WIPS below, please ignore horrible colors/perspective)

For me it was the funnest mashup idea I’d ever had, but I just assumed that no one in this fandom would recognize or care about the connection. So my feverish WIPs went unfinished for months. Had to dig these up to post here. I’m happy to see that Pyramid Head Leo at least has found a place in the community haha!

Most people don’t know that I’m a HUGE Silent Hill 2 fan. I was actually concocting an AU idea of Donnie going through the town of Silent Hill, facing off against hauntingly familiar monstrosities in a nightmarish diesel-punk iteration of the town as he grapples with his survivor’s guilt. But again, I just didn’t have the time to focus on it. Still fun to think about though.

The remake gave me some ideas for redesigning my James for my AU (in which he's a dad). Specifically for potential injuries sustained from monsters that would be visible, which I could see the acid spewed by the lying figures causing some pretty significantly injuries. (Although i think James would learn to deal with them at a distance after the first time)

The shredded sleeves of the jacket don't carry over to the fullbody because its how it is in FG. Since giving it to Oscar; after SH2, it has been repaired with the sleeves replaced from a duplicate jacket.

The second image has him wearing a patchless dupe that he found in the lost and found of Lakeview Hotel. He gave the OG jacket back Oscar for a extra layer of clothing (he really needs it).

The 55 is his actual age in the AU which start looking like once Oscar reunites with Anya.

James borrowed the shotgun from Oscar too.
