Question/Prompt: How would S react to the MC being sick while in a relationship?

S handles this pretty well, modulating their worry about you being sick by performing actions that should hopefully make you feel better. They don't hover as much as the other ROs, but they're always within reach and become a consistent presence in the room. S will likely have a cup of tea ready for you before you can ask or will layer another blanket on you before you realize you're chilled. 🥰☕ Observing and anticipating your needs is how they try to show their care for you.

It was time for them to make it home. He didn’t like being in the public eye like this, he knew that his feelings for Silas would be getting into his way, that they would have him possibly judge a situation wrong or even worse, make him do something he shouldn’t. He was protective of the human, maybe a bit possessive too but mainly, his thoughts in this campaign were just constantly radiating around keeping the male safe. Everything suddenly could be a danger. And while most of the time there was no need for him to even be this tense, he still was. “I know you can, but you told me you don’t want one and then the option is real high that once I got one, you will want mine.. it happened to my fries too. And my donut.” He regularly ended up giving his food to Silas just because the human decided that in the moment he didn’t want one until he watched Ira eating. “I personally think you should grab a bagel just because you skipped breakfast today to sleep longer.” The tall wolf raised a brow when their hands brushed together and he found himself looking right into the males eyes, noticing just how much he misses the closeness they lately established. Still he pulled his hand away quicker than needed, giving Silas an apologetic look. “Promise, when we are home things will be different again.” Then he was leading the male to the next coffee shop where he indeed ordered coffee and a bagel, giving the male a waiting look as to see if he did listen to him or not. Soon they would be on that damn plane and then back home where he could kiss Silas properly.

Silas laughs when Ira starts explaining his reasoning, all of the things that he'd taken over the course of the campaign and their travels. "Guilty," he says, raising a hand in surrender. But he also knew that Ira was correct, that he should eat something.

He couldn't help it if he'd been warm and content and hadn't wanted to move; they'd been getting up so early this campaign, always on the move with his father. It was an unfortunate pattern, and it messed with his sleeping habits.

Sighing and giving a bit of a nod when Ira pulls his hand away, an apologetic look on his face, Silas curls his own tighter around the piece og luggage he'd snagged. When he speaks his voice is smaller, quieter, than normal. "Okay."

When Ira orders, Silas goes back to his 'normal,' charming self, but there's a sense that they need home, and they need it now.

Decided to put my insane ramblings in the readmore because, man, I have some thoughts and I don't want my tags to look like a bloated monstrosity.

First of course I have to praise this wonderful work. The customization is astounding but what I really enjoyed was the flavor dialogue. Sometimes it's subtle but it flows so naturally that it really makes you feel that you have a person as an MC. The world and characters feel real and alive and like they've got their own thing going on. Also the EXTREME PARANOIA I get reading dialogue or looking at answers to asks is fun in a masochistic way. What are the lies? The truths? Who knows! All I know is I'm going to have a mental freak out by the end of it and I'll be thankful for the ride.

Anyway, back to my precious fae(ry) boy, too good for this world (maybe. Backstory still pending). Surely being a trusting bleeding heart will not backfire at all in the apocalyptic game of Amoung Us. Honestly the characters are all so good so I can only imagine that I'm going to scream no matter who ends up being the traitor (side eyes Merlin). At least he'll always have his trusty iron lamp and Audrey III! No, he isn't a masochist why do you ask?

Anyway, Silas Laeratin. Changeling. Taken from an abusive home and placed in the care of a loving if aging couple. I headcanon this is where he decided to be a paramedic, taking care of these people who loved him despite his weirdness and scars until their end. He wants to help people like he was helped. He wants to be human and if he stops helping, stops being near them maybe he'll forget what that means. Smoking and sleeping help dampen that worry. Reminds him of "home".

Also lucid dreaming because that sounds like a massively fae skill. Buzzing around dreams. Wish we could drag the others in front of Arthur in the dream for a Royal Vibe Check but alas. Hard way it is. Also poor Arthur man. Silas just wants to go into the dream so he can talk and hangout with the poor guy. Seems like he can use some company that isn't an unknowable horror.

Adrian is his gardening and fencing friend! Partners in nerdism and carnivorous plant propaganda. It's so fun teasing him. No crush but man is it enjoyable to see this man flustered. I think Silas would like to say outlandish things to get this man to smile. Also tease him with tongue twisters and riddles. I apologize for all the times he's going to have to potato sack Silas away from suicidally trying to help someone. Or sleeping with Merlin which is probably what he's going to do if offered in Chapter 3. The side eye Silas is going to get will be legendary. Sorry Adrian. Not my fault Merlin is stupid hot and also funny.

Silas rolls his eyes, sighs, but leans against the door jamb, nevertheless. Once Sam got it into her mind to talk about something, she would, and damn anyone else who said otherwise. "For the record, no one ever said it was an issue before." He gives a bit of a bitter grin, shrugs a shoulder. "But continue telling me how amazing my taste is."

"Well, now that you brought it up I wanted to talk about you showing up unannounced," Bright grin is flashed at him before her head is turning to look at the item in question, "Oh, good choice. I knew you had good taste, poor judgement but god taste," before fingers are plucking at an item and slipping it over shoulders.

For me it's Benedikt and Roma because I just find it so interesting how their relationship changes over the course of specifically the first two books as more and more things happen to cause a rift between them. They're just so interesting to me.

So in my universe Silas and the vault 76 overseer are cousins (who have more of a sibling bond cause they grew up together.) Anyway when she finds out about the whole MODUS thing, she's absolutely all 'Hey, what the fuck?' and Silas is like 'You can't judge me, you have Davenport.' 'Davenport is different, he's vault tec suppli--' 'Vault tec supplied you a beau? That's kind of embarrassing, May.' (She calls Silas an impossible moron and proceeds to ignore him for a week, but then comes back with 'Actually my initial point still stands and by that I mean what the fuck, Silas??')

FINDING herself in this strange new island, Wang Xue felt a little intimidated. She wasn't intimidated by the land or even the fae, it's just that the sudden appearance of so many peoples & their customs made her slightly panicked. She knew nothing of the Dusk court ( as did no one else, but that did not excuse her in her mind ), she was unaware of their quirks & customs & that put her in a tricky position as the emissary from Gaea.

However, it did provide her with another place to look for her older brother. Ever since he vanished from Gaea a few years ago, she was trying to find him - but not a trace of him could be felt in this strange new land. Still, she would not give up hope in finding him someday.

& finding answers to the questions she was not yet ready to ask.

Standing at the edge of the beach, she toyed with the idea to touch the sea - but the temperatures were dropping & she wasn't too keen on freezing her hands for a sudden urge. Instead, she focused on the sensation of being watched & approached, & tuned her head to greet a winged man sailing from her own homeland.

"The view is spectacular from here, but I'd really like to see it from a higher ground. Getting to know a land is a job halfway done to getting to know its people. May I be so bold to assume you've found a way through the forest to one of their mountain tops?"

I hope you're having a great start to April! 💐 While I do have a few funny questions about the TFS characters, I was in the mood for something softer today. This is also a public post on TFS Patreon. 🌲

As for cuddling, it might depend on your Returning Visitor's preferences, but in general:

Either works for B! They want you to express your preference first to ensure your comfort level since this is new. They're just happy to be cuddling you. 😌 B would have a very soft look on their face and will pull you near or tuck closer after the two of you settle down.

Hmm, S would probably be okay with either so long as they also get to hold your hand while you're cuddling together. I could see a slight preference for big spoon with them. They enjoy wrapping the MC up in their arms or pulling them back against their chest to rest/unwind.

The Verner heir is a butter knife or a grapefruit spoon... >.> R can sometimes bea little spoon, not that they would ever call it that, and they would shuffle around for a while before settling next to you to be held, silently daring you to say something about it. R likes (craves) the contact! They seek out the reassurance of touch, so being held or holding the MC satisfies what has been missing and overlooked in the recent past. (Ms. Verner hasn't hugged her child in years, and R isn't used to the softer, gentler side of physical intimacy.) It's more likely to happen—to be expressed—deeper in romance when their guard lowers some. 🖤👀

In general, they just prefer you both to be wrapped up in each other, molten spoons!

J tends to be the big spoon. They like to hold you very close and have you near. On occasion, our Detective would actually really love to be the little spoon after long days at work or if they just need to be held, preferably tucked away in your arms and knowing you won't let go. It's a rarity, but when it happens, you'll know how much J missed you. (Bonus points if you play with their hair, which can help them relax, if not melt, even further into your hold.)

JR's cuddling somewhat depends on the MC's preference, but R likes to be in the middle or have you in the middle, while J tends to be on one of the sides. R is determined to have contact with both of you! 😏 J is more lowkey about this, draping an arm over the two of you or occasionally resting a gentle hand so they know you're there. Deeper in romance, R will be able to pick up, if not sense, when J needs to be in the center. They'll ensure that J gets that time and affection.

Mal is already known for having an encompassing presence that ensnares the MC. This is only reinforced by their scenes in Book Two that can significantly deepen the romance route. Our beloved red flag might turn into a blanket for those who treat them right. 💞 They'll want the MC firmly entrenched within their space by either holding them to their chest or allowing themself to be held. Regardless, Mal returns any attention tenfold. Big spoon, little spoon, switchblade, etc. As long as they're with you, Mal doesn't really care about the positions.

Closed starter: Silas ( @ritualove ) Location: The Twilight Cauldron

This was going to be just like any other day. That's what Copper thought at least. He was working the counter today at The Twilight Cauldron - one of his baristas had called off, and the replacement hadn't come in yet - and it was turning out to be kind of slow. The evening wasn't their busiest time of day - they were busier in the morning and at lunch time - so that wasn't so surprising, but it meant Copper was bored. He'd done everything he could think of to do, like making sure the bakery items in the display case were aligned just right, sweeping up, that sort of thing, and now all he had to do was lean against the counter and wait for a customer to arrive. You should have brought a book, Copper thought, sighing. When he'd left Maine, Copper had brought as many books as he could, so he had plenty to read, plus he could always go to the local bookstore. Even though Copper hadn't been able to write horror - or anything really - since...well, it happened, he still liked reading that genre. Copper was sure he had something from Silas Adams that he could re-read.

There's Silas now, Copper thought, smiling at the sight of the man walking into the shop. A moment later, Copper stood up in shock, realizing exactly what he was seeing. Silas fucking Adams was walking into his shop. Holy shit. Now he was beaming, and as the man walked in, Copper replied, "I can't believe you're in my shop right now. I'm a huge fan of yours."
