here's something no one asked for: bats fallout 4 au
cass: made as an institute courser and the best of the best with a perfect clear record until she was ordered to execute a traitor and she bounced, she drifts for years anywhere and everywhere, eventually ending up in goodneighbor and through Coincidences into the office of one Barbara Gordon
babs: a doctor in goodneighbor specializing in human/machine interface and neurobiology, aka railroad agent oracle she and her partner Dinah run the memory den, part therapeutic establishment part front for synth liberation activities Babs helps deprogram synths and let them lead normal lives
Jason: he was taken into bruce's vault after his parents died, he was born human but turned into a ghoul thanks to a near death experience and a radiation bath, by the time we meet him, he's a drifter blown into goodneighbor hiring out his services as a merc, steadily moving in organized crime through some maneuvering
duke: a psyker (kinda like the forecaster if you played NV), he has the ability to see into the future if he concentrates, however it leaves him with huge migraines, his parents went missing after a raider attack and he joins the minutemen (honestly what is more MM than WAR) to try and find them
steph: both she and her mom are prewar ghouls (all of the cluemaster stuff still happens but he doesn't survive the bombs in jail), they used to live in diamond city until all the ghouls got kicked out, they lived in goodneighbor for a time, with steph working at the local clinic, run by leslie, eventually they both moved north to the slog (a settlement run by ghouls in an old swimming pool) when crystal wanted to get clean, steph works there as basically the town doctor
tim: (spoilers for a ten year old game but:) kinda like synth shaun he is a permanently stuck at the age of like ten, still a tech genius but like.... litol (did I say this just cause I thought it was funny.... yes)
alfred: a fuckin mr handy
bruce: vault dweller that imprinted on said mr handy like a duckling after his parents died
dick: you can literally keep his backstory intact and he makes perfect sense, haley circus is just from new vegas, after his parents murder he joined up with lyons pride and moved east with the brotherhood of steel, when the new elder rose to power after the lyons' death dick started to see the writing on the wall of fascism and jumped ship leaving that life behind, joining up with duke's new and improved MM to protect people from people he swore brotherhood to
damian: obv still bruce and talia's kid, talia is a pre war scientist and businesswoman, keeping herself and her half siblings alive and young as long as they keep their father and his weird artifact locked up. damian grows up in the closest thing to pre war luxury the post apocalypse has to offer. Eventually he wants to go out and see the world, meet his dad, write a guide to wasteland fauna. talia hires jason to guard him so he stops trying to rush down feral ghouls with a sword.

So I just finished reading Harry Potter for the very first time as an adult (pirated, of course, because screw JK Rowling). And uhh, I have some thoughts!
- I can definitely see how/why people fell in love with this series as children. So many different and interesting characters, Hogwarts seems like such a fun and interesting school, and the magic is essentially limitless, with so many different spell types, branches of magic, magical items, magical creatures, magical environments, so on and so forth. Had I read this series as a child, I could easily see myself becoming obsessed as well.
- I was actually pleasantly surprised with the diversity in these novels? For how discriminatory JK Rowling has demonstrated herself to be, and how long ago these books were written, there was actually quite a few characters of color and characters from foreign countries in there. Now, of course most of these characters were relegated as side characters, and some of their depictions seem kind of…questionable, but yeah, a pleasant surprise.
- I was a Percy Jackson kid growing up, and I’ve commonly seen accusations of Percy Jackson being a HP ripoff. Having read the HP books now in full, I don’t agree with that accusation, but I can kind of see why those comparisons were made. Some of the details in PJO feel eerily similar to certain details HP (alarm bells literally went off in my head when Harry received an invisibility cloak) and Rick also admitted on an FAQ on his blog that he wanted to replicate the likability of HP, so he took inspiration for certain elements from HP. Do with that what you will, I guess 🤷🏾♀️
- Continuing with the PJO/HP comparison, I do feel like the worldbuilding in PJO, while smaller, is a lot more solid than HP. I also feel like the child characters in PJO are more likable and relatable. However, there are some things that I think HP does better than PJO. For starters, I think HP does a far superior job of exploring emotions, and handling the emotional complexity and fallout of certain events, especially on the part of the protagonist. Rick’s decision to focus on constant action was a bit of a detriment to Percy’s character, as Percy’s emotional reactions to major events tended to be glossed over and/or made very brief. I’ll never forget in BoTL after the campers witnessed so many of their siblings and friends die in battle…and then everything just ‘went back to normal’, and their grief reactions were practically nonexistent. HP at least had wisdom to actually dwell on certain emotions and let them simmer for some time in the narrative. While I prefer Percy’s personality to Harry’s, I consider Harry to be a better written protagonist, because he actually gets to perform significant emotional reflection and introspection on the things that are happening around him. Harry’s emotions are presented in a far more complex and compelling manner, because of how layered and nuanced they are. I like that Harry had moments where he doubted his best friends. I like that Harry actually had changing love interests over time, and that his desires in a romantic partner evolved and became more mature over time. I like the Harry had a deeper emotional connection to the villain, a connection that he always had to grapple with the implications of. I like that each death was painful to Harry, and we actually got to hear him reflect on what each death meant to him for an extensive period of time. And oh, what a pleasant surprise it was to see Harry doubt Dumbledore in Deathly Hallows, to see Harry have such conflicted feelings about a character who had mostly been presented as being perfect and flawless up until this point. It was extremely sad, but it was very raw, and a far more realistic depiction of the messiness of teen emotions.
- Another thing that I think HP did better than PJO was the use of adult characters. I know that it’s a very intentional point for the demigods to feel neglected and abandoned by their godly parents and to have to suffer through the world alone, but at the same time, PJO makes weak use of both the gods and of mortal parents, and Chiron, as sweet as he is, isn’t exactly a complex character. Not only did HP strike a better balance between child-led adventures and parental involvement, but the adult characters presented to us are just miles more interesting and nuanced than any adult character presented to us in the original PJO series. The adults in HP had such intriguing backstories, secrets, and skeletons in their closets, all of which had a unique impact on the kids. And it’s not like having the adults present weakened the conflict, or downplayed the danger the kids were in.
- I’ve praised HP a lot, but there are some things about it that I also didn’t like. First of all, as a black woman, that slavery plotline with the house elves was absolutely insane to read, especially with the other students treating Hermione like she was nuts for wanting the house elves to gain freedom. On a related note, I also think the tense relationships between wizards and other creatures was underexplored in general. In Deathly Hallows, we clearly see that the discontent of these other creatures leads to some of them siding with Voldemort, but we’re never told what becomes of that or what becomes of the SPEW agenda after Voldemort dies. I’m assuming things didn’t just magically get better, did it?
- Another thing I definitely did not like is Romione being endgame. I am so sorry to the lovers of this ship, but Ron was so disrespectful towards Hermione throughout the series to an extent that I cannot, in good conscience, get on board with. I, for the life of me, cannot understand why Hermione is attracted to him or would want to spend the rest of her life with him, and she deserves so much better! In my world, she would have ended up with Krum or Neville, or just literally anyone else other than Ron.
- Harry and Ginny are more tolerable to me as an endgame couple, but I just wish that Ginny had a stronger presence in the story and/or more character development. Additionally, a small part of me feels like Harry had a stronger relationship with Luna than Ginny; Luna seemed to understand him even better. I almost feel like Harry and Luna would have made a stronger pair.
- As mentioned earlier, one aspect of HP that I had trouble with was worldbuilding. There are too many aspects of it to go over all my feelings in detail, but generally, I think that the books often fell prey to lots of lore-dumping (especially at the end of the novels when it was time to unveil the secrets and mysteries). I also think that because of how limitless the magic is, there were so many Deus-ex-machina moments that didn’t feel like they got the best set-up or foreshadowing. Along that same vein, I also feel like the magic is kind of ill-defined. Now, I understand that HP utilizes a very soft magic system in which the rules are pretty limited, but it’s hard to get a sense of where the magic starts and stops. As a result, if feels like the characters are so conveniently able to solve certain conflicts because a new magic object or concept can pop up whenever they need it.
I have a lot more thoughts than this, but this post is already long enough, and the rest of my thoughts are really just minor nitpicks. And again, please keep in mind that my first time reading this series was as an adult. I don’t have the same nostalgia or attachment for it that long-time fans would.
Anyhow, I’m off to watch the movies, and I’ll be continuing to read other childhood series that I never got a chance to enjoy. Next up: Artemis Fowl, and His Dark Materials!

how i would fix the oc
this is going to be a loooooong post
season 1 – doesn't need any fixing in my opinion, i actually don't think i'd take away the luke/julie relationship even though it was digusting because it did have a big impact on the plot and i also don't think i'd take away anna and luke leaving because it would probably take away from the closeness of the core four
regardless of that, i do think it was a mistake to make them leave but the show would've been extremely different then
season 2 – i would probably make summer care for marissa more in 2x07 when she's shouting at her parents, because summer (and the others too) all kind of watched but didn't take care of her which i found a bit odd
i would have made lindsay return at the end of season 2, at caleb's funeral
she was a part of that family and i really think she could've had a great friendship with ryan and a really cute sisterly relationship with marissa, she could have been taken in by the coopers
season 3 – they could've dealt with the fallout of the trey situation more, in my opinion and the relationship between dean hess and taylor was unneccessary and didn't impact the plot in any way, shape or form
instead of charlotte being a scammer, they could have made her a new and loyal friend to kirsten but then again, it strengthened her friendship with julie, which is one of my favorite aspects of the later seasons
when johnny died, i think ryan could have definitely been way more empathetic – he would've let marissa grieve and they would have talked out their feelings about the situation, and they wouldn't have one of their last conversations as a couple being her saying that he was glad about johnny's death
they still would have decided to break up, but ryan would not have dated sadie, but marissa still would have dated volchok
she also would have kept her friendship with chili at first, with volchok coming between the two
when she got 'redeemed' by breaking up with him, she would have befriended chili again
the end of the season would have stayed the same, but ryan and marissa would have hugged one last time before her death
season 4 – it would have started with marissa's funeral, showing a lot of old characters returning
there would have been no sound, but we would see the faces of the characters and feel the impact of her death
it would be shown that ryan is not in attendance but we would see him standing at the door of the church briefly, looking in
at brown, anna would be summer's roommate and would take in taylor's position in the group
ryan would not be in a relationship with anyone at the beginning of the season but would strengthen his friendship with the others
maybe an old ex of his would come back or he would get together with taylor, but not as early as it happened in the actual show
the impact of marissa's death would be a lot more clear, with seth also grieving (very important)
frank would come back and attempt to contact ryan and would still do his guilt tripping/lying thing but they'd decide to not remain in contact at the end
julie would not have dated him, but bullit would still exist and be in a relationship with her but he would be less of a caricature and more of an actual character, and his father-daughter relationship with kaitlin would be focussed on even more
the part where julie and kaitlin both are into his son would not exist
i still think there should be a second love interest for her, because the impact of her not choosing anyone at the end would be stronger then, but i don't like the incestuous relationship with frank and the shared sibling between ryan and marissa
the earthquake would still happen, and the sethmer storyline would stay the same as well
next is the finale, but i'll make a seperate post for that

🪅 brag about any project you want to! tell us why we should be reading it RIGHT NOW!!!
If you insist 🫡
I don't talk enough about my magnum opus, my baby, the first thing I ever posted and started wring. I posted A Song of Serpents last spring but I started writing it over a year ago. Since then I've gone on several side quests with other fics but once I'm caught up on a few things, I'm fully returning to it. I miss writing it so much.
So anyway, I'm not great at telling someone why they should read what I'm writing but I'll gladly ramble about it in this ask.
I have many, many thoughts about Regulus. And that's really how the story started, I wanted to illustrate my version of his descent into the death eaters on my own terms. But the story quickly evolved when I discovered the headcanon of Dorcas being a slytherin, and rosekiller being in Regulus' age group (I literally started this before I was even in fandom, I hadn't even discovered rosekiller yet). I was (I think?) three chapters in when I fully scrapped them and started over with a new idea entirely - and came up with the name. I decided I wanted to tell the story of these marauders era slytherins and the events that lead up to each of their canon deaths, with a twist. The twist being, the events that changed the course of their stories so they don't end up dying. I have spent the better part of the last year fully brainrotting the intricacies of their storyline so that each one is woven together in such a way that every character's actions change the course of the story. It's my biggest solo project and I wouldn't be surprised if it hits 600k at its end.
There are six povs, Regulus, Evan, Barty, Dorcas and James. I felt it necessary to include James' pov because of how important he is to Regulus, who drives the story.
Each character has their own struggles with the changing world around them - Dorcas is struggling with her parents expectations and her own shifting opinions - Barty is suffering the fallout of his trauma and anger issues - Evan is dealing with his broken family and his own deep seated self doubt - James is trying to navigate his feelings and guilt - and Regulus, my beloved, is combating mental health issues and the external pressures from his family.
Its not easy to turn your back on all that you know, and it's especially not easy to turn your back on family. I often see people talking about how Regulus should have just left his home, followed Sirius' footsteps, stood up for himself, etc, as if it was that easy. But to quote my own fic:
They say to bite the hand that beats you, not the hand that feeds you. However, Regulus doesn’t know the difference.
Regulus loved his parents, no matter their faults, their abuse, and that's the tragedy of it all. The tragedy of family.
That's the theme I explore most in this fic - family. Dorcas, and Barty both consider what family means to them and who family is, they struggle with the demands from their parents and their trauma. But my favorite family dynamics in this fic are Regulus' and especially Evan. I LOVE sibling angst, and with Pandora and Evan as twins in this fic it opened the door to alot of angst.
Anyway, if any of you end up reading it, feel free to yap here in my asks or in my comments. It means alot to me ❤️
ask game :]

My thoughts on Lelouch’s character direction in the Resurrection movie
I really don’t like resurrection as a movie and especially as a continuation of rebellion…and I haven’t fully pinned down all my issues with it but what I think I dislike the most is what it dose with Lelouch’s character. Like if you’re going to bring him back and retroactively cheapen the Zero Requiem then I feel like it needs to resolve something he needs to go through an arc but I feel like he just falls back into old habits and not in a fun tragic way but in a stagnant? Idk if thats the best word way.
A big part of the tragedy of Lelouch’s character (atleast to me) was how he pushed away? (Again not sure if thats quite the right wording) the people around him. He isn’t really ever fully present in his loved one’s lives. Constantly distancing himself with a mask (both physically and metaphorically)
And he ends up screwing himself over in alot of ways because of it. Because he keeps this close-distance from people he ends up hurting them. Nanally says as he’s dying in the final episode that she didn’t want him to save the world for her she wanted him in her life. She wanted her brother! Because he’s so focused on what he thinks is best for her and what he thinks she needs he ends up distancing himself from her then losing her. In most of his relationships he thinks he knows whats best for others and what he thinks is best for people is usually removing himself from their lives. The easiest example is Shirly. She didn’t want to have her memories of him erased but he dose it anyway because he thinks the only way to save her/the best thing for her.
With the black knights he’s always keeping up a front with them and it’s the same with the student council. Like for example his friends want to help him find the cat who took something important to him and because he can’t trust them/keeps them at arms length when it comes to the Zero aspect of his life he ends up in this complicated situation where’s he’s working against them. (The ep 4 cat chase isn’t the best example but its the example where going with because this is more so my thoughts then a researched analysis) Kallen wants to be there for him but even when he is the most vulnerable with her telling her about C2’s memory loss and also having the sibling death conversation he puts on an act of not caring for her at all and pushing her away. Only giving her a hint he actually cares.
Not to say his actions in all of these examples aren’t justifiable just that they show an overall pattern of neglecting being present in his relationships in favour of perusing the greater good/pushing others away
This is one of the many ways he parallels Charles. Who though his relationship with his children is probably best described as a festering complicated mess and I wouldn’t really use the term ‘love’ he did atleast care about his children in his own way but sent them away and didn’t come and get them when the war started
It doesn’t matter I’m not being honest about myself and my intentions with my sister and my friends. It’s fine that I’m lying and neglecting being present in their lives because when I fix the future I can just make up.
It doesn’t matter I’m not being honest about myself and my intentions with my kids. It’s fine that I’m lying and neglecting being present in their lives because when I fix the future I can just make up.
-
If they die in the war I can just revive them with my plan so it doesn’t matter if they die.
But it dose matter because it left those children feeling abandoned/betrayed by their parents and traumatised.
It doesn’t matter that I die leaving behind my traumatised loved ones because I’m bringing them a better world.
But it dose matter because it left those loved ones feeling abandoned , betrayed and traumatised.
He left alot of people behind and alot of people confused and I think he should have had to deal with the fallout more. I would have loved for his arc in the film to revolve around this character flaw and him being forced to be present in the lives of his friends and to become more emotional open? Mature? Involved? I think I’ll go with less emotionally destructive/ignorant but instead like I mentioned earlier I think the ending, lelouch leaving with C2 and abandoning everyone he hurt is just an extension and continuation of this issue…Suzaku and Nanally even ask him to stay. They want him in their lives! They tell him this! He doesn’t have to be Zero they just want him to stay and he doesn’t. He once again leaves for a perceived greater good/to help his friends/to cope and hurts them all over again and returning to toxic patterns. He came back only to disappear just as quickly. Sure there would be issues if he stayed I’m not saying its even logically the best option but I think it was important for the stories emotional narrative.
I didn’t bring it earlier but I think Lelouch also has a coping mechanism of de-humanising himself (ie he’s Zero - Zero isn’t a person Zero is a symbol so in/ The Demon emperor - the demon emperor is an intentionally cruel persona / dehumanising because demon. Lelouch and dehumanisation is a big bag of gummy worms I will dig into in a future post because its ever so fascinating to me but I will keep this semi-short) and this dehumanisation is heavily tied to this issue. He dehumanises himself and thats partly how he justifies his avoidance.
So now he is a code bearer he is literally dehumanised as an immortal and becoming a code bearer allows him to continue justifying dehumanising himself and leaving others for the greater good. He is just repeating the same mistake and the film in my eyes is enabling him to. It’s not challenging his internal narrative like the original show did and the original show doesn’t even end with him having sold the issue.
The film works better for me if I see it as a C2 film and not a Lelouch film. C2 found genuine love and connection and rather then using her abandonment/detached coping mechanism (the same coping mechanism I have been talking about Lelouch having) she in resurrection works to get that person back and sticks with him even when its difficult and endangers herself. Showing her growth from the show but she could have done this with everyone not just Lelouch she could have learned to find or atleast start to find community with other characters and no longer be that witch/that strange woman Zero keeps around ect which would let Lelouch have his arc too and even though C2 dose have a relatively solid emotional arc the film doesn’t fully focus on her it much more focuses on Lelouch so I’m still hung up on him being brought back only to not have to deal with loads of the consequences (both good and bad) of his actions.
And Leloch and Suzaku are probably going to just meet up again in Roze so whats even the point of having Lelouch go off with C2 abandoning everyone again just to show up later…(I know the resurrection writers probably didn’t know about Roze or where planing for the movie to fit in with it this is less of an issue with the writing more so an issue with the retroactive canon like how the end of R2 is cheapened for me by resurrection but theres nothing R2 could have done about that. Roze is probably going to cheapen Resurrection for me but thats not Resurrections fault and there isn’t really anything they could have done about it)
#I’m just guessing at what the fandom abbreviates the shows/movies as#Hopefully you guys know what I’m talking about#being coherent is not my strong suit but hopefully it makes sense and I’m not just stupid ^^;

Revisited my old Liaramancer, Andy (also the only character I've played through the entire trilogy) after like 2/3 years! Probably the biggest ref I've done for a character haha
More character info +ID under the cut:
Andromache "Andy" Jia Shepard Age: 29/31/32 (ME1/ME2/ME3) Morality/leaning: Paragade Sexuality: Bi + demi Romance: Liara Weapon(s) of choice: Sniper rifle, tech
Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, as the middle child of five children, Andy moved to the off world colony Mindoir with her family at the age of 10. They lived a peaceful life there for six years before the colony was attacked by batarian slavers, leaving her the only survivor of her parents and siblings. She was taken in by her aunt and uncle, and moved to Vancouver, Canada, to live with them. She studied computer engineering at a military school in the city, eventually transferring into the Alliance military after graduating.
Most of Andy's military fame prior to serving on the Normandy is attributed to her experience on Akuze, where she was the sole survivor of fifty-one marines after a thresher maw attack, managing to get back to the extraction point thanks to her perseverance, quick thinking, and sheer luck. After this incident she was admitted into the N7 operative program, eventually graduating and earning the rank of Commander.
When on the job, Andy is clipped and professional, always trying to act reserved, though at times her emotions get the better of her. Outside of work, she struggles to connect with people and has difficulty turning her "professionalism" switch off, though she tries her hardest to be approachable. After her "death" and subsequent reconstruction (in ME2) she is much more brutal and upfront. Feeling like her life and all control of it was yanked away from her, she cut her hair and got new tattoos as a way of leveraging some control of herself. Although she ultimately wants to help others, she feels bitter and angry at the fallout of her death and the organization that resurrected her for their own means, Cerberus.
By the time of the Reaper war (ME3), she has mellowed out considerably on a personal front, having found more stability in her personal life after reconciling with her old connections and breaking away from Cerberus. However, the stress of the war and the decisions accompanying it weigh on her every day, and she tries her best to present a calm and collected front to keep up crew morale.
In her spare time, Andy enjoys programming equipment and putting things together, along with working out. She is also a massive fan of romantic dramas and tries to keep up with them regularly.
[ID: Reference sheet for Andromache Jia Shepard/Andy Shepard, a masculine 5'0" Chinese-Greek woman, across all three mass effect games. The first image shows her changes in scars + tattoos across the games. In ME1, Andy has a thresher maw tattoo on her L thigh along with six stars on her R inner forearm and long dark brown hair tied back in a bun (or worn down for casual wear). In ME2, she gains red scarring from reconstruction (ME renegade scars) on her face and various parts of her body, along with a L sleeve tattoo consisting of a night sky on the upper arm and a forest on the lower arm, along with a L collarbone tattoo reading "SR1". Her hair is cut in a short and choppy haircut. In ME3, Andy's hair has grown out to her shoulders and she wears it pushed back. Her red scars have faded somewhat but are still present. The points on the first image read "Cis Female, She/Her, Chinese-Greek, Colonist, Sole Survivor, Engineer - The second image shows her outfits across the games- In ME1 she wears the standard Alliance military outfit, in ME2 she wears military cargo pants with a grey muscle t-shirt, and in ME3 she wears Alliance military cargo pants with a grey muscle t-shirt and the red and black N7 hoodie. Andy also wears an iron ring on her R pinky at all times. End ID.]

Fallout oc dummmmp :)) it’s gonna be a lot like my Dragon age one just will fallout. Under the cut because there’s a ton, idc if people read it or not I just need to empty my brain because I’ve been thinking about them again.
Zia Miller:
My favorite one, she’s my Fallout 3 character. She’s definitely shy, mostly because of how she was bullied in the vault and how she was basically alone most the time other than her father, Jonas, and Amata (I don’t remember how to spell her name and idc).
Obviously she’s alone most of the time until she gathers her companions. So a little about her vault life, I like to think James (dad) was a bit of a workaholic, he’d spend late nights at the lab for his experiments and such, of course I’m not saying he’s neglecting Zia, he just works a lot. He also pushed Zia to be the best student she could be, she got her smarts from both her parents duh. I like to think instead of her looking a lot like James she looks like her mother (Catherine). She’s obviously close with Jonas, looking up to him, he’s basically like the sibling she never got in which she deserves one but at last, not happening (rip Jonas he was my fav NPC other than Gob). Then Amata, GRRRR I hate her. She is the absolute worse friend ever and no one can tell be otherwise, she makes you deal with Butch and the bully’s then just stands there when you get your butt kicks, honestly, I’m pretty sure Zia was desperate for friends and Amata was really the only option. Finally Butch, in the Vault she hated him, he’s meaaaan to her, bully, out of the Vault it’s the classic enemies to lovers trope that we all love.
Okay, so companions in game I really only traveled with Charon, Dogmeat, Fawkes, Star Paladin Cross, and Butch. I never traveled Clover, RL-33 or whatever its name was, or Jericho. I know a bit about the characters so I’ll just pretend I did end up traveling with them, I just never encountered or had the right Karma requirement to travel with them.
So Charon is obviously the bodyguard, she doesn’t treat him like one, she never asks him to do anything for her so she tries to be nice to him. Zia LOVES Dogmeat, I feel like all my hero’s of the wasteland are just dog people, Jem is an exception. Fawkes is a good companions, he listens and is pretty good in a fight, Zia definitely likes discussing different books or history with him. Cross is like a mom to her, obviously she didn’t know her mom so any motherly figure is good enough for Zia, Cross is also just good to travel with. Butch, like I said enemies to lovers thing going on, I love him a lot he’s just a dork and I like him a lot better when he leaves the vault rather than in it. Clover uhh, she probably gets a little uncomfortable with the pet names, like lover and stuff like that, but she tries and gets Clover to get out of that mind (idk if it works I barely write these two together), she also takes that bomb collar off her because she deserves a little freedom. She is terrified of RL-33, she just doesn’t like getting yelled at and definitely cries when it yells at her :(. Finally Jericho, um, she also rarely travels with him, I feel like she’d like him better if he was less mean and all that but I feel like he might get a little soft spot for her.
I like a little found family, but they all hate each other but get along only for Zia’s sake. Anyways, Zia’s got major survivors guilt after James’ death, rip dad. She’s now got both Mommy and Daddy issues Horray!! I feel like she’d be mad at her dad for leave up until he died, then feel bad for making him die thinking that she’s still mad at him.
Definitely didn’t do the Enclave, so she sided with the BoS. After all, the Enclave is the reason her dad died :)
Courier Six:
Six! Six! Six! The mailman with brain damage! Obviously I love him, love writing angst for this mess of a man. He hides his struggles with his humor and everyone just kinda goes along with it thinking it’s due to the brain damage. I feel like after a while the companions would obviously see through it but that’s only when they get to know him.
So companions, I feel like for all the games is kind of like a found family kind of thing. I feel like the found family started here when Six shoved all of them inside the Lucky 38 and just runs off to cause chaos all over the Mojave. Anyways, so I’ve traveled with all the companions in this one, Arcade, Boone, Cass, Veronica, Lily, Raul, Rex, and ED-E (and of course the dead money DLC companions Dean, Christine, and Dog/God).
So Arcade and Six are kind of together, I like to think that Arcade at first started traveling with Six because he felt bad and knew Six would get himself into stupid shit if he didn’t help him, but then once he started to know the man he started to fall for him or whatever idk how to write people falling in love. Anyways, Six loves Arcade and normally travels with him, it’s also nice to have a doctor to travel with you. Boone, my emo egg, Six feels bad about his wife of course or at least pretends to, he always enjoys having Boone around and whatever Boone says they are the bestest of friends (or at least in Six’s eyes they are). Cass, I’ll be honest I barely traveled with her only to get her quests for EXP anyways, good drinking buddy but Six isn’t normally allowed to drink (Arcade and Raul rule), sometimes Cass manages to sneak Six drinks though. Veronica is awesome in Six’s eyes, loves traveling with her and always finds her amusing, he loves her jokes :), one of the three that helps Six makes important decisions but that’s on rare occasions when there’s a disagreement between Arcade and Raul. Lily is grandma and Six loves hanging out with her, Raul is grandpa and loves hearing his stories, he just lives his grandparents. ED-E he loves, Six just loves everyone I think it’s impossible for him to hate anyone, I think he also just like having ED-E around because it gets a reaction out of Arcade. And Rex, the whole groups favorite dog <3.
Soo Benny. Six doesn’t hate Benny, he barely remembers him, he only knows that’s who shot him because people keep telling him and reminding him. I really think Six is incapable of hating anyone, at least to anyone’s knowledge.
Six has bad memory problems, constantly having to get reminded of things. He also shouldn’t be left to made important decisions, that’s what Arcade and Raul are for. He really just does what they say and call it a day. During Dead Money he listened to all the companions, Dean, Christine, and God.
He decided to do an independent Vegas, the first real choice he made by himself but also because Arcade mentioned it a few times and side it would be better for everyone.
Jem:
She’s the other fnv oc I made a while ago and I just kinda kept her. I feel like if she were a companion she’d be the only one Six wouldn’t get along with, she’s mute (not like Christine, she never gains her voice back) so he doesn’t understand her, she’s also just super mean. But there’s a twist, she’s part of Six’s past which is another reason why they don’t like each other.
I’m still working on the details of the backstory but what I got so far is that Jem and Six were a thing before he made the delivery in which he got shot and never returned. Jem was obviously alone for a bit and thought Six left her or ran off with someone or whatever idk. Anyways, she ended up getting sold to the Legion and was tortured and made a slave, only reason she’s not anymore is because of Six saving her. Obviously he can remember her and she didn’t bother trying to convince him they did know each other.
Oh, she also ends up getting with Boone because I said so and I like it when two angsty people get together. She obviously moved on from Sox a while ago too. I’ll post more when I finalize the backstory.
Nora Colón:
Finally, the mom in which didn’t save her son and watched her husband get killed right in front of her. The woman out of time.
So obviously Nora is a pretty moody as a character, no nonsense type of person. She’s a good person, just with everything that happened before the start of the game and during the prologue it had hardened her and made her an angry and sad person.
I feel like she gets along with all the companions. She also lies to the companions for a long time up until she goes to the Institute, saying that she was just some random person from the wasteland that had her baby stolen, not mentioning anything about her husband. I feel like the only companion to really know what happened was Deacon because he’s weird like that.
So Nick or Peepaw, is her favorite, she finds comfort in him and just enjoys talking with him, he is a massive father figure. Hancock is fun, Codsworth doesn’t like him because of him doing chems and that stuff and he doesn’t want it to influence Nora. Nora finds him okay though, tries not to drink with him though (she’s a recovering alcoholic). Ugh Preston, she likes him just hates how much work he makes her do, she’s a stressed woman and he just stresses her out more with all that settlement work omg. Danse, adores him but will never admit it, she felt so bad during blind betrayal, obviously she saved him without a question. Codsworth she loves, one of the good things about her past and she’s happy he’s still around, even if he is rather picky about what she does. Cait, Curie, and Piper, she likes them all just Cait and Piper is a bit too much for her and Curie… she’s just too nice, what reason does she have to be that nice. Deacon, obviously doesn’t trust him at first but eventually warms up to him, even laughs at a few of his jokes after a while. MacCready she baby’s, motherly instincts kicks in when she’s around him and always scolds him when she catches him smoking (she smokes but he’s also young sooo).
I don’t think she’d have survivors guilt, she didn’t really care for her husband. She definitely hated herself for killing Shaun but the synth boy scared the hell out of her, plus he wouldn’t grow. She’ll always regret not being able to see Shaun grow up without the influence of the institute or his father. Also gets upset when Shaun says his father was just collateral damage even if she didn’t like her husband she wouldn’t say that.
She sided with either the railroad or the minutemen. She doesn’t like the BoS and definitely doesn’t like the institute.

So I’ve been thinking about the Ramirez family again, my mind wonders at what could have caused the rift between them all. They all seem to think the distance between them is for the best, but each have differing reasons for why.
Andy seems convinced that they don’t need their family, and is better off alone. But I can see in their one good eye, there’s resentment. Resentment and trauma. There’s a sense of abandonment that just emits from them. I get the feeling that Andy has never felt like they belonged anywhere. Even with their family, they never felt understood but I think Andy still loved them. And they loved Andy back, even if Andy couldn’t see it.
Oscar seems convinced he isn’t good enough to be around his family, and they’re better off without him. There’s guilt under his fun loving and free spirited persona. Oscar loves his younger sibling, I can tell, but he never asked for the responsibility of being an older brother.
Ovidio is the hardest for me to read. Maybe that’s why I didn’t realize he’s their uncle and not the eldest sibling lol. I can’t say why but I just feel that Ovidio caused the rift between them all, or at least played a significant hand in it. Ovidio seems to want someone to kill for. He wants someone whose name can justify his actions, but none of his family want to be that someone.
Anyways, that's just my interpretation of your wonderful characters! Sorry that this is a bit long lol. I hope I got some of it right and I look forward to the next piece!
oh my GODD honestly it's insane how accurately you read all of my characters. i'm so so so humbled someone's invested in their story, thank you SO MUCH for you interest and your ask! i'm very sorry it took so long to answer, it's a bit hard to collect my thoughts.. but i truly appreciate your analysis! i made this scheme to support info under the cut. i must warn you that this story's a bit dark in a domestic way and... it's really long lol
so. you're mostly right about ovidio causing the rift! i hope i'm not ruining it for you by telling, i know that stories often seem much more interesting before we know any specific details. but basically the actual tragedy of the ramirez family has it roots not in the interpersonal drama (though it definitely played a significant role in everything) but in the ncr and fallout politics in general. all of them used to live in some independent settlement in california, with its own militia, farms, crop fields and traders before the ncr annexed them. the republic put this settlement through their standard modus operandi with enforcement of taxes and recruiting of many promising and not so promising youngsters in the army, including ovidio who was around 18 at the moment (i even have this sketch below with some arcade and ovidio bonding which kinda summarizes it)
mateo and ramona were traders. obviously, the ncr started to suck resources from the settlement (mostly crops and animal products) and they needed caravans to transport them. ramona and mateo (and some other settlers) took the job and both eventually were killed in one unfortunate trip by raiders (which at least partially are the aftermath of ncr's actions in california and nevada imo). so, as you said, andy was lonely and abandoned from very early on in their childhood. they were raised in this post-annexation "world" where their parents almost never had time for them and were never home. oscar was a bit more fortunate (he's 5 years older and had his chance to spend some quality time with mom and dad) and naturally he took their death harder than andy. ovidio was demoted from the ncr army (it's the whole other story) and came back to provide for children and his own parents. he was around 20 at the moment, oscar was 12 and andy only 7. the three of them grew to love each other with time but it was a baffling shift in family dynamics because oscar and andy were relatively independent kids and had never spent much time with ovidio before.
also oscar really wanted to accompany caravans himself (to get away from home a little and out of sheer curiosity about the world) and ovidio just wasn't having it. it literally was the same conflict between them over and over, so andy had to listen to constant bickering and drama which left a lasting impact on her psyche. the second thing that really traumatized andy was abuela's dementia - this slow decay of the mind of someone who was once very clever and loving. and the third thing... well. once upon a time oscar just LEFT after some especially heated argument and it changed everything once again. he didn't plan to run away for real, just wanted to party a little, to teach ovidio a lesson and to come back home. but he ended up meeting someone cute and kinda postponed and postponed his return to the point of never coming back LOL (he did kinda come back later but... spoilers). just like you guessed, he didn't believe his family needed him because his experience at home was basically doing hard labor and being yelled at. of course his family actually loved him and everyone was scared shitless about him including other settlers but... he never got to know that. he dissappeared without a trace because good luck to anyone who looks for a "dark-haired, dark-eyed lad of medium height" on the wastelands. ovidio didn't find him back then but he really tried, and his life became pretty much centered around this desperate search for oscar. andy grew up into a capable, cold and emotionally unavailable young adult by then. but her brother's escape was like a nail in the coffin of the avoidant attachment style. imagine 1) never having your parents around and losing them to the wastelands, 2) losing your grandma to dementia and seeing her literally not remembering your anymore, a fate worse than death in andy's opinion, 3) losing your brother to the wastelands too but this time he "deliberately" left you 4) losing your uncle to this obsession with finding your brother. andy AGAIN, JUST LIKE YOU SAID felt abandoned by others. they were a shadow, not noticed by anyone, not being anyone's priority, overworked at home, without any way to decide something for themselves. and it was the turning point when poor abuela fell sick and finally died. andy lost her last anchor to the hometown that stopped feeling like home a long time ago. and yeah. whoopsie. she left too! it was the first real decision in andy's life, a hard call to make yet a weirdly freeing one.
later on ovidio dropped what was left of the caravan business altogether and left their settlement too, this time to search for both "kids" who were adults at this point. that's how the things still are during the fnv events - the ramirez family is separated, all of them found some surrogates of familial relationships and left their impact on the political map of california and nevada. they reunite only after the independence ending (achieved by oscar). and speaking of your other observation: "Ovidio seems to want someone to kill for. He wants someone whose name can justify his actions, but none of his family want to be that someone" - it sounds more like how things play out after the big reunion. but... that's a whole other story :) thank you so much for reading and, once again, for this ask! had great time answering!!!

What’s one of your favorite tropes that you haven’t written for (or haven’t written for in a while)? If you want, write a little snippet about how you’d do it now.
Hi @full-frontal-lotus! Hi, friendddddd! 😁
Ooooooh! That's a good one! Not so much a trope but I have been thinking recently about trying to branch out and try a slightly darker-toned series because I've recently been on a Fallout binge.
I mean, I write Naruto stuff. If I got a bit better at writing things like violence (fight scenes specifically) or slow-creeping dread, I could do a lot more mission-type stories, which would be cool to explore!
Once I get through my current story request queue (I'm so close! Kinda🫠), I plan on releasing the next two bingo cards. The segment below will be the prologue to a FalloutAU one.
A not-completed, only-mildly-edited snippet is below!
Thank you for such a cool and sweet ask! 🎆

Fallout AU Series: Chapter 1 - Prologue: War Never Changes
Warnings: Fallout Alternative Universe. Bombs. War. Minor Character Death.
Iruka wrote the number of current dead on the board, far higher than the two others combined. He forced his grip to tighten around the chalk in his hand to finish writing the last of too many digits.
“So,” he forced a pause to collect himself, feeling everyone's gaze in his direction but focused solely on the writing on the board, “the number of years each war is decreasing, but the death count is rising. What does that tell you?”
No one gave him a reply, not that he genuinely expected one. The room is so quiet the slight thud of him replacing his stick of chalk, sounding like one of the bombs they all feared, erupting decimation through their street, had already started to rain down.
Shikaku gave Iruka a subtle nod when he discreetly met the man's eyes. He agreed with how he made his point.
“Iruka Sensei.”
It took him a head shake and a few rapid blinks to realise that Sakura had spoken up. She was such a well-behaved student. Never cursing, handing in her homework on time and constantly raising her hand when she asked a question, but Iruka could see both her hands were occupied, one in both of her fathers and the other being grabbed onto by her mother so tightly all six of their hands looked ghost white. Hanging on to each other like a lifeline
“Yes, Sakura?”
“You never answered Ino before. Do you think the bombs will drop? Do you-do you think the world will-?”
Her sentence abruptly stopped when she what looked like painfully bit into her lip and bowed her head, both her dotting parents wrapping her in a hug; Mrs Haruno’s soft motherly reassurances floated on the otherwise silent air of it being okay, of everything being fine, that there was no need to cry. All lies.
Several of his more skittish and empathetic students looked at him with that same pleading in their eyes that Sakura had in her voice before it shattered.
In his classroom with him at that moment were some of the village's most amazing individuals, as well as some of the most broken children.
Gai Maito adopted two children with whom he had no possible connection and raised them to be healthy and loved when they were both too young to remember their parents, who would never return from the front lines. Tenten and Lee gripped one of his hands.
Shikamaru looked at his army battle hardened father with a wisdom beyond his years. Iruka, knowing that while he didn’t study for his Math or English tests, he skipped class to read thick tombs of battle strategies and inner army working, knowing his lineage was a path laid out for him and an important one he planned on continuing willingly.
All around the room, parents and children shared heartbroken, frightened looks. The three siblings from the Sand exchanged worried looks that the war would never end, that they would never be able to return home.
The prominent shining glaze of Fu’s eyes and shaking of her shoulders as she hugged herself and silence from the three from Kumogakure scared that the new home they had found would follow the ones they had already lost under a wave of never-relenting gunshots and explosions that created mountains of bodies of their former family, friends and fellow.
If the Land of Fire were flattened in bomb fire, there would be nowhere to start home number three and no one to start it with.
Iruka was a humble history teacher. He wasn’t a warrior or a great intellectual, and on some days, he didn’t even have the everlasting optimism that Gai Maito had. At that moment, he only had the ability to be honest with the children, nearly young adults, in front of him.
“I can’t see the future, Sakura,” he admitted, his voice barely holding together, only making the girl's green eyes cloud with more tears, “I can only tell you what history tells me. And it tells me war is violent-”
He turned back to the board, snatched the chalk back up, leaning into the spike of anger the conversation created to push on, and underlined the death toll for the First World War.
“devastating-”
He underlined the death toll for the Second World War.
“And-”
Finally, he underlined the death count for the Sound War before turning around.
“Continuous.”

Wait hi, i don’t watch 911 and know nothing about it but many of my mutuals do and everyone is freaking out, are y’alls blorbos getting canon or what?
So long story short, we’ve (the fans) waited seven years for the confirmation that a character (Buck; Evan Buckley) is bisexual after it was hinted to, joked about, subtextual, and right there. Spoiler, he kissed another guest character (Tommy) in tonight’s episode, Buck’s first kiss with someone on screen who was not a woman. And we’ve seen him kiss a whole lot of women (rightfully so).
Buck was introduced as a young firefighter, a womanizer and egotistical charmer who wasn’t sure of his place in the world and who struggled to foster lasting connections with others.
The last seven years of the show detail his growth from that kid into a man reunited with his sister, happy with his found family within the firehouse, a surrogate father in his captain Bobby, a surrogate mother in Bobby’s wife Athena, a sibling-like bond with Hen and Chimney (his soon to be brother in law) and Eddie. Recovering from childhood trauma thanks to his negligent parents, plenty of near-death experiences, the so called lost cause.
Eddie was introduced later in the game, the second season, as an ex-military single father of one, a young son named Chris (who was born with cerebral palsy). Buck doesn’t like him immediately but they’ve gotten so close to the point of Buck acting as Chris’ other parent and Eddie’s bestest friend. Eddie signed over emergency custody of Chris to Buck in case of his untimely death. It’s very serious, you can imagine. But on screen they are just friends. The audience isn’t so sure that’s all it is, they’ve believed it to be romance for so long. Myself included that is. Struggles with never being enough, his post traumatic stress disorder, his masculinity and not airing out his stress and depression, the tough guy.
Explicitly queer Buck was delayed by the previous and original network of the show, which refused to greenlight the story and continued to bait it. Some writers and some actors were onboard with it forever, but it wasn’t in their hands. The move to ABC (from FOX) and the return of showrunner and creator Tim Minear guaranteed it’d come to fruition.
It opens the door to the possibility of Buck and Eddie finally being addressed as maybe, together romantically but it’s a halfway there situation as Eddie has only dated women on screen, too. No matter to all the subtextually queer writing the character’s got.
But Eddie told Buck a few seasons ago, canonically “Buck, there’s nobody else in this world I’d trust with my son more, than you.” After Buck saved Christopher’s life in a tsunami. Eddie’s said to Buck after getting shot (and being saved by Buck, who was right in front of him as it happened) “You act like you’re expendable, but you’re wrong.”
They’ve survived and gotten strengthened by that tsunami we talked about, Buck getting pinned by a firetruck and the fallout of a lawsuit lodged by him against the fire department, Eddie getting stuck in a well under like fifty feet of mud trying to save a kid at night in a rainstorm and Buck clawing at the ground to get him out, Eddie getting shot and Buck crawling under a firetruck to get to him and get him safely out of there and to a hospital, Buck getting struck by actual lightning and Eddie climbing up a ladder to get him down and screaming out for him.
That’s just the crazy stuff, I can’t get into the domestic cause we’ll be hear all day covering how the support each other when it comes to family issues, kid issues and romance issues. But tonight’s episode was all about Buck being jealous that Eddie got a new friend (Tommy) and ended with Buck being kissed by a man for the first time in his life. So, yeah. Impending, canon?

Coming to pester you as per usual /solly
Do you have a favorite “Fucked up Siblings™️” dynamic?
HIIIII YES HELLO
honestly i think my favorite is siblings that are like. Stuck Together. usually because they lose their parents/guardian and so they have to become each other’s caretakers (or, more than likely, the eldest has to take care of the younger one(s)). i especially love it if they’re soo fuckin bitter towards each other. an older sibling who just wants what’s best for the kid they’re stuck with now, and a younger one who just wants their big sibling to listen to them.
in my old ttrpg group we played a in a post-apoc/nuclear fallout world and two other party members had this like. really gutwrenching brother dynamic where the younger one was a pretty angry little shit,, like. wandering off a lot, not understanding the real weight or danger of the world they lived in, stuff like that.
and one of our last sessions ended with the younger brother trying to kill one of the antagonists to prove how strong he was, since he was feeling guilty for their parents’ death (whole other thing) and jealous because his brother was working with other party members and spending less and less time with him. basically this whole metaphor for growing up and not wanting to let go. it was reaaallly fuckin sad and ended with his older brother wrenching the weapon out of his hands so he didn’t hurt himself.
tldr: i really like the tired older sibling and This Little Shit That They’re Stuck With. i think a good example of that is maybe like,, clementine and AJ from twdg, especially in the 4th game.

All of the fallout prompts for Andy and Frankie.
Ash: How does your OC's story begin? Andy: Waking up to being manhandled by vault security and then tossed out on his own in the middle of the night. Frankie: Killing the man that purchased her.
Dust: How does your OC's story end? Andy: Happily growing old with Frankie. Frankie: Frankie has a few different endings based on branching paths she could take. All are happy though. Her story is very much about the ability to persevere and find hope despite the world beating you down repeatedly.
Rust: What is the worst injury your OC has endured? Andy: Being an unapologetic asshole, he has angered many people that want to beat him up, but he's really good at running away. Unfortunately there's always someone better. This someone happened to bruise up his face pretty bad and break three of his ribs. Frankie: Her left arm was crushed by a bookcase and then had to be amputated. That or the chemical burn on the left side of her face. Viewers choice!
Steel: How does your OC feel about power armor? Andy: Doesn't care. Frankie: It's great for scrap. The people that use it are great for target practice.
Blood on my hands: What is a kill your OC regrets? Andy: Andy does not regret kills. If he had to kill someone, it was because they posed a danger to himself and others and there were no other options. He won't lose sleep over that kind of death. Now the death of a patient is different and he regrets all of those. Frankie: Every mark she tricked into following her. Not because they didn't deserve what happened, but because each encounter carved opened old wounds for her
Cazador: What is something your OC is afraid of? Andy: Being abandoned over a misunderstanding. Frankie: Being remembered after death.
Deathclaw: What is the most harrowing experience your OC has survived? Andy: For someone that was group parented, he was close to everyone his age in his vault and didn't understand what it meant to be alone. Being thrown out into a world where he knew no one and never really had experienced that before, it was humbling to put it gently. Lots of panic attacks and losing his sense of self. Frankie: Watching everyone she had ever known be sold as property, then having her turn to be auctioned off. The sound of her mother's desperate cries still haunt her.
Pipboy: What is something your OC is proud of? Andy: How useful his skills are in the wasteland. His younger siblings. Frankie: She takes a lot of pride in her ability to apply things she has learned from books to real life situations.
Sharp knife: How does your OC handle cosmic horror? Frankie: "I don't." *tar starts pouring out of her mouth, and her voice becomes polyphonic* "I do not believe in boogie men. It's all bullshit for people that have lost their grip on reality." Andy: *looking exceptionally taken aback, having never seen this before* "... What she said." (I'm working on something visual for this)
Idiot savant: What is the Dumbest thing your OC has done? Andy: Spit in the face of the man that was already beating him senseless for calling him a "stupid oaf". Frankie: Followed Mr. Burke's hollow shell into The Dunwich Building.
GNR: What song does your OC like the most? Which one do they hate? Andy: He likes the song "Ring of Fire" but hates "Mighty Might Man" Frankie: She likes the song "Maybe" but hates "Civilization"
Dogmeat: How does your OC feel about animals? Andy: Indifferent. If one likes him, he will be affectionate with it, but he isn't going out of his way to pet a dog. Frankie: She likes baby animals a lot.
Nuka~Cola: What is something your OC is addicted to? Andy: Genuine praise from people he perceives as equals. He acts very nonchalant about it, but he really craves that kind of attention. Frankie: She is a recovering Med-X addict.
Sunset sarsaparilla: What is something your OC has trouble letting go of? Andy: He's a very jealous man and it's a very ugly personality trait. Frankie: Anger. She is a very angry person.
Vim: What is something your OC will fight for? Andy: Frankie. His younger brother and sister. Frankie: Kids. Herself when pushed long enough. Loved ones when not pushed at all.
Aliens: Does your OC believe in Aliens? Andy: Not a chance in hell. Frankie: Absolutely not.

シン•ビオランテ Shin Biollante [Queen of Thorns]
“It's Shin Gojira! That damn creature is back!”
“No, this is different, this is, it's some kind of plant! But fused with Shin Godzilla's flesh, if we don't stop it, it's going to over run the entire Amazon Rainforest!”
Possibly the most powerful and horrific creation of Shin Gojira, Shin Biollante was the result of Shin Gojira's Crystal-Space form splitting in two. The split left Shin Gojira's body a shadow of its former self, the enormous nuclear reactor in its stomach taken by Biollante along with the vast majority of its mass, leaving him smaller than his fourth form and severally crippled, relying on Krystalak power cores to stabilise his power until adapting. Despite this, Biollante was loyal to her parent and under his orders, blasted open a portal to the Amazon Rainforest to wreak havoc and draw attention away from the Monarch Base in Antarctica so Shin Gojira could enact his plan to take control of the Kiryu MechaGodzilla as a new host for its body.
Biollante was soon confronted by a huge contingency of Monarch and UN forces who desperately attempted to fight her. Attempts were made to burn down the forest however that only made the Bio monster furious due to the intense pain it caused, causing her to lash out and wipe out 90% of the human forces by releasing toxic spores which cocooned them into energy sources for herself or by melting their flesh and bones with her acidic sap. Rodan and Baragon appeared to fight her, causing her to spare the remaining humans including Dr Vivienne Graham and her pilot, Akane Yashiro.
Baragon and Rodan fought against the Bio Monster viciously, however Biollante proved to be an immensely powerful and lethal foe, grievously impaling Baragon before almost killing him by strangling him with her vines. Rodan stepped in and saved the guardian beast before proceeding to attack her nuclear core which he noticed she was protecting. Noticing this, he proceeded to fire a super charged Uranium Heat Ray beam into her core, causing her to implode and threatening to inflict a disaster with the fall out of the explosion. Rodan however caused a massive tornado which allowed the explosion and the fallout to dissipate upwards rather than across the rainforest.
Dr Graham returns to Japan, reporting on the incident and requesting that Project Jaguar is giving full priority. She grows concerned that there is no word from Serizawa. Serizawa tries to communicate with the Shin Gojiran, Adam, whose dorsal plates glow purple and declares: “Do as you will. I am.”
Height:
Beast Form - 180m
Travel Form - Varies from spores to kms of vines
Attributes:
Psychic link with Shin Gojira
Can generate Black Holes however this drains power
Lacks the psychic powers of her parent
Acidic Sap
Self sustaining nuclear core
Can assimilate any organic living being and add it to her mass or use it as energy
Biollante cannot control the Gojirans or Krystalaks however Shin Gojira has no issues with her eating her own siblings.
Can plant tentacles to into the ground to mimic trees and plants to trap creature to use as energy sources.

Trigger Warnings: Car accident, death and dying
WC: 2040
Cillian had broken down on the phone when his wife had called him giving him the horrible news that his little sister Madhbh and his good friend and Madhbh’s husband Tom were murdered by a drunk driver when they were coming home. Their five-year-old daughter, Y/N had been the only survivor of the crash. Cillian was on the first flight out to Dublin where he was greeted by his wife Yvonne and then rushed straight to the hospital where Y/N was.
As they were on their commute to the hospital, it was Yvonne who said it. “We’re taking Y/N.”
Cillian looked at his beautiful fiancée and nodded his head, holding back tears. The thought of little Y/N being orphaned at such a young age brought tears to his eyes. No one could ever replace Madhbh and Tom, but it was truly what was best for little Y/N. His parents weren’t able to care for her, Tom didn’t speak to his family due to reasons that he was never comfortable talking about, and his siblings were just starting their lives. He couldn’t let little Y/N go into foster care.
“Then we need to get a room ready for her,” he said. “We need to figure out how we get her to London as well.”
Y/N pulled through, but the Murphys were forever scared by the loss of the youngest one. The only thing they had left of Madhbh and Tom was Y/N, and they had to be strong for her.
And though the first two years were rough. Y/N crying for her parents, the Murphys struggling to move on with the Madbhbh and Tom-shaped holes in their hearts while doing what was right by Y/N had taken its toll on all of them. They had taken her to therapy in order to help her cope with the adjustment of her parents dying. Y/N’s first birthday without Madbhbh and Tom was something the whole family was dreading. But Madhbh got a cake, she got a few presents, though she didn’t seem too interested in them. Her eyes scanned for her parents, only for Madbhbh and Tom to never walk in the door. And though the adults would never admit it, so were they.
Life was bittersweet for Cillian and Yvonne as they watched Y/N grow up. As Y/N grew older, she looked more and more like her mother Madhbh, but she had Tom’s mischievous smile which both Yvonne and Cillian knew would get her far and get her into trouble. When Cillian and Yvonne married two years later, both of them expected Madhbh and Tom to be there. Only to find little Y/N sitting right next to Cillian’s cousin smiling.
When their oldest son came the next year. Yvonne and Cillian found themselves making sure Y/N didn’t feel replaced. And they did the same thing when their next and final child came along not too long after their oldest. Though to them, though they’d never tell Y/N, she would be their oldest. But they could never replace her parents, nor did they want to.
Life with three kids was hard. The kids outnumbered the adults. Y/N had inherited her mother’s unique ability to rile people up for her own amusement and then watch the aftermath. Something Madbhbh had done in childhood to purposefully set off Páidi and Cillian. She also just seemed to watch the world burn as she riled up her cousins to be able to watch the fallout. But other than that, she was a good big sister and a nice girl.
When Y/N started school, Yvonne and Cillian were sitting there on their couch worried sick. She was growing up. She had her school bag in hand, her hair swept back into a ponytail. In her striped school uniform, Cillian snapped photos of her like any parent would on their child’s first first day of school. But he couldn’t help but feel guilty.
Working as an actor made it hard for Cillian as well. He was away from the family for long periods of time, leaving Yvonne to manage the house and the kids alone. He missed his wife, he missed Y/N, he missed his sons, and he felt terrible for leaving Yvonne alone with the three of them.
Cill thought back to when he was home. “Yeah,” Cill said. “I’ll be leaving in three months to film a TV series.”
“What series?” Y/N asked as she got up and brought him a glass of water. Now eleven, she looked even more like her mother. “You’re hardly ever here, Uncle Cill.”
Cillian sighed. He’d gotten used to this since Y/N was able to register that he was always gone. “I know,” he sighed. “But you guys can come visit me.”
Y/N rolled her eyes at him as his sons groaned. “What’s it about?”
Cillian was amazed that she was taking an interest in what his newest projects were. “It’s about a gang in Birmingham at the end of the First World War and how they navigate everything that comes after.” Y/N nodded her head, he could tell that she thought it was interesting. “And you can’t watch it until you’re thirteen, Y/N.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. Knowing Y/N, he knew that she’d figure out a way to watch it just because he told her ‘no.’ A trait she inherited from her father.
As the years went by and the family moved back to Ireland, a relief for Y/N, Yvonne, and Cillian who were moving closer to family. But a new and terrifying thing for Cillian and Yvonne’s kids, as they had lived in England their entire lives.
As Y/N entered her teenage years, she became sort of a wild child. She would go out to parties, she’d come home late at night. She’d never leave her room unless it was for food or the occasionally ‘grunting’ hello at family members. She’d roll her eyes, she’d groan, but it all came to a head when she came home late completely rat-arsed.
“WHERE WERE YOU?” shouted Yvonne.
Cill and Yvonne were up all night, pacing and worrying about Y/N. Her mother wasn’t much of a partier, yet here Y/N was, out at all hours of the night and stumbling home sloshed.
“Relax, Auntie Yvonne,” Y/N slurred. “I was out with a few people.”
“YOU WERE SUPPOSSED TO BE HOME BY 10!” She hollered. She then sighed when she looked at Y/N. “God, Y/N, you’ll be the death of me.” She went in and hugged her.
But Y/N wriggled out of Yvonne’s arms and ran straight towards the bathroom, the sound of puking could be heard. Cill thought back to his younger years when he’d go out with his friends and throw up after a long night out. Y/N went straight to bed after that. And much to Yvonne and Cill’s shock and amazement, Y/N wasn’t hung over. She seemed to be immune to them.
Y/N’s punishment was spending time with Cill for the weekend and not being allowed to go out with her friends. But he could tell that she was secretly happy to spend time just the two of them.
“We don’t do this anymore,” she pointed out as they walked around Dublin. Cillian had suggested (or as the family called the ‘ice cream bat signal’) to get ice cream and Y/N happily accepted the invitation. “You’re hardly ever home anymore.” She sounded defeated. “I know you go away a lot for your job, but the boys miss you.”
Cillian sighed and though he knew Y/N would never admit that she missed him until she was older, he knew she missed him too. This was the hardest part of being an actor. He was away a lot, leaving the three of them alone. It was something he’d forever feel guilty for. “I miss you guys too.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “Congratulations, Y/N, Anderson Cooper would be proud.”
Y/N’s look of bewilderment was something that Cillian smiled at. That look she’d inherited from her father, even though she was her mother’s twin in looks and personality. She opened her mouth and then closed it. She was at a loss for words.
“Uncle Cill,” she said softly and timidly. “Uh, please don’t be mad at me.”
Cill’s head started spinning. What was wrong? What what did she do? He wondered. But the look in Y/N’s eyes told him that she was terrified. “What is it, Y/N?”
“I’m bi,” she whispered.
Cill breathed a sigh of relief. “I thought that something bad had happened to you.” He hugged her. “There’s nothing wrong with that, Y/N.”
The sigh of relief on her face was something Cill understood.
When Y/N embarked across the ocean to go to school, Cillian and Yvonne were incredibly nervous as they moved her into the dorms in Philadelphia. She enjoyed the US, she enjoyed Philadelphia. It also gave the family an excuse to go to America, as the boys were nagging their parents to go for a while.
Three years later, Y/N would meet a man in one of her classes. The two would grow close and end up dating. Now, Cillian, Yvonne, and their two sons were in Philly for more than just visiting Y/N, they were meeting her boyfriend.
Cillian, like any father, was nervous about how he treated her. He hoped that his daughter had found a nice man who loved and cherished her. And by the way she spoke about him to them, he did.
“Are we there yet?” asked his oldest son as Yvonne drove. Cillian, looking out the window as his wife made the wrong turn and went over the Ben Franklin Bridge into New Jersey, was now understanding why Y/N didn’t like Jersey drivers. Yvonne was gripping the wheel of the car.
“We’re in New Jersey,” Cill responded.
“Why doesn’t it smell?” asked his youngest son. “Y/N calls it the ‘armpit of America’.”
“Because it does tend to smell,” Yvonne stated. They managed to turn around and get back to Pennsylvania. They drove to the restaurant, parked, and then got out to meet the two of them at the table.
The man, better known as Jack, got up and greeted him by shaking his hand. He called him ‘Mr Murphy’, even though Cill had told him to ‘call him Cill,’ the young man persisted. They talked and got to know each other. After two hours, they left. Cill smiled at Yvonne, glad that Y/N had found someone who loved her. It also helped with the boys that
Years went by, Cill’s family met Jack’s family who were wonderful people. Both Jack’s parents were from Ireland as well. They emigrated to the US in the 80s and never left, becoming naturalised citizens. The two would later marry and then divorce. They would go on to marry wonderful people who Cill was thankful Jack had in his life. They did a wonderful job raising him.
Now, a few years later, Y/N was walking down the aisle. Jack would be at the end of it. The two of them were so nervous. Cill stood next to her, trying hard not to cry. Yvonne, who’d gone dress shopping with her, was also on the other arm.
“Repeat after me,” the priest said. Jack’s parents were “Jack O’Brian, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in holy matrimony, to love her, to honour her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?”
“I do,” Jack smiled.
As Y/N blushed as the priest turned toward her. After they said the formalities. The priest responded with: “I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”
Jack and Y/N kissed, smiling as they pulled away. And as Cill sat there, all he could think was how the time had slipped through his fingers.
