make out sessions with ibusaki were very rare. he wasn't the most openly affectionate man out there, usually opting to hugging you from behind and resting his head on your shoulder and giving it a little soft kiss. maybe he'd hold your hand and interlock fingers as you gently tugged him along with you. however, the few times you managed to get more passion out of your otherwise quiet lover were always memorable.

soft orange light filtered through the window to ibusaki's dorm as the sun continued to lower beneath the horizon. an arm held you tight against his body, a hand gently tracing patterns over your side as he flooded you with affection.

"you did good, shun," you said quietly, slightly breathless. "i know you would have liked to get through to the second phase, but i'm proud of you for getting into the autumn elections in the first place." reaching up to his face, you brushed his fluffy hair back slightly so you could see his eyes properly. humming to yourself in content, you rested your forehead against his and pressed another kiss to his lips.

"thanks..." he murmured against your mouth, dipping in to taste more of you. "means a lot." gently, he rolled over so that he could hover over you slightly, earning a surprised squeak from you. "so cute," he commented, carefully placing a hand on your neck to feel your pulse quicken as he continued to capture your lips with his.

"'s embarrassing to say," you whined, bringing your hands to your face to hide the flustered expression from your boyfriend. he chuckled at your antics, instead giving little butterfly kisses to your hands.

"the truth hurts," he responded, prying your hands away from your face and nuzzling his nose against yours. shyly wrapping your arms around his neck, you returned the affection. seeing ibusaki with the sunlight behind him illuminating the outline of his hair made you wonder if you truly did find an angel. the moment was short lived though, as the organic flow between your bodies came to a screeching halt at the sound of a ceiling panel being pushed to the side.

"hey guys! we're gonna have- oh?" isshiki's easy-going smile warped into a mischievous smirk. "getting a bit frisky, are we?"

"isshiki-senpai-"

a breezy laugh escaped the senior's throat and he waved his hand dismissively. "it's ok, as you were." reaching into his pocket, he threw a small square wrapper onto the bed where you and ibusaki lay. "wrap it before you tap it, kiddos!" he called, swiftly putting the ceiling panel back.

ibusaki groaned, dropping his weight onto you and hiding his face in the crook of your neck. "he's gonna tell everyone..."

you giggled at his concern, carding a hand through his hair. "probably."

— it’s one of his love languages. He loves buying you jewellery, flowers and cook your favourite food. Loves the “thank you” kisses and hugs he gets from you every time he gifts you something <3

there was something about laying with ibusaki on a hill during the sunset. you weren’t sure if it was the light breeze that ruffled his fluffy hair slightly, the amazing food you both had brought that evening or the orange sunlight on his skin that made him look like an absolute fucking angel.

filling the silence was both the occasional chirp of a bird or the crickets in the distance. the array of food that had been brought was now gone, and only a stack of empty containers tucked away in the woven picnic basket set aside on the grass beside you. 

laying on the picnic blanket, you turned your head to stare at ibusaki. with his hair covering his eyes, you weren’t sure if he was asleep or not, but you soon got an answer as you reached to run your fingers through his hair. raising his own hand, he pulled your hand from his head gently, using his other arm to bring you closer to him and burying his face into the crook of your neck.

‘shun?’ you asked, trying to suppress the giggles building in your chest at the feeling of his hair tickling your neck.

‘let’s just stay like this for a while,’ he said, gripping you tighter. you sighed at his behaviour, but the smile on your face showed that you were perfectly fine with this predicament; a clingy boyfriend who would never admit how much he loves physical touch.

as the sun continued to set, your eyes settled on the stars that were slowly starting to illuminate the sky and your hand that kept running through ibusaki’s auburn locks slowed, and eventually stopped. the smell of smoke still filled your nostrils, but at this point you’d grown to love it.

ibusaki turned his head to see what you were looking at and huffed childishly, returning to his previous position. a surprised gasp escaped your lips as you felt him press a kiss to your neck. 

‘attention back here, darling,’ he mumbled, planting more along your neck, slowly trailing up to your jaw. the hand that rested against your waist traced patterns over your hip almost microscopically, and though you couldn’t see it, his gaze was trained on your face, relishing in the flutter of your eyelids and shallow breaths due to his advances.

rolling to hover above you, hands beside your head and legs either side of yours, he laughed dryly at your flustered expression, a finger coming to tug at the collar of his turtle neck before pushing his hair back and holding it away from his face. you inhaled sharply at his gaze, meeting his steel eyes and whether you intended to or not, you’d burnt that image into your mind. ibusaki on top of you with his hair pushed back and a devilish smirk adorning his lips.

‘are we really gonna do this here?’ you asked shyly as he leaned down to capture your lips with his. ‘what if people hear?’

‘then i guess you’re just gonna have to be quiet, my love.’

okay so, you and shun, once best of friends but a huge fight happened

you had to leave him to go overseas with your family bc of a job and you never told him

it ended pretty terribly

there was now a big tear in your friendship once you came back to japan to go to totsuki, again, you didn't tell him

due to this, you two often clashed with each other, though shun and you were both quiet individuals, you both found a way to fight

and of course you fought with cooking

it was a sight for the polar star members to see as shun usually never was an aggressive person and neither were you

but then soma had wondered, "why do you guys fight so much?"

that left another rift in the friendship (was it even considered friendship anymore-)

"she left me!"

"i came back though didn't i?!"

yeah soma did not help at all

but you'd be lying if you didn't want to be friends with shun again

you love cooking matches as much as the next person but you wanted to stop fighting him for once

you missed him, and if you were being honest, you liked him. you liked him since elementary. but your pride stopped you from stopping these fights

he missed you, and he liked you. but like you, his pride stopped him from stopping the feud.

but then the elections come up. both of you get the same block

both of you lost

it was a quiet day for you both as you went back to the dorms

while mostly everyone was celebrating in the kitchen, you and shun stayed in your rooms

you sat in your bed for a while, sulking over your loss

but you figured that shun was feeling the same way about this. both of you had lost after all

you go to shun's room, albeit you're scared as fuck but you try and shake off the nerves

you hesitantly knock, "shun? it's y/n."

you can smell the smoke from his room and the sounds in his room stop

the door opens revealing the male

you can't see his eyes but you know he's sad about his loss

"what do you want?"

"if you're gonna sulk over your loss, let me sulk with you. i lost too after all." you joked slightly to lighten the heavy mood

he doesn't say anything for a moment before moving to let you in

you enter his room and sit on his bed

there's tension in the room still

"why didn't you tell me you had to leave back then?" he asks as he seems to be smoking something

you knew he would ask at some point

"i couldn't." you continue, "it was too late to tell you. i never meant to leave you. i never wanted to. i understand that you're mad at me-"

he cuts you off as you realize he's now standing right in front of you and he stopped whatever he was cooking/smoking

"i missed you."

cue the waterworks.

"i missed you too."

he hugged you as you cried

"does this mean we can stop fighting now?" your voice muffled as you talk into his chest

"yeah we can stop fighting"

yay everything is okay now!

but wait neither of you confessed yet-

it takes a while since both of you just mended the friendship

the friendship slowly rebuilds itself, both of you going with the things you used to do as kids

you spent a lot of time in shun's room, often sitting around and rambling about your day as he listens silently

everyone in the dorm is both relieved and confused as to why you're both friends now

(everyone doesn't really know that you both were childhood friends)

anyways, soon you do a bit more than spend time in his room,,,,

you nap in his bed more often than not

and with everything that goes on in totsuki, he doesn't blame you for it, he usually encourages it

he knows how much you stay up to practice your specialty cooking

one day though, isshiki talks to shun

"you like y/n, right? you can't fool these eyes." thank you ceiling gremiln very cool

shun doesn't even deny it.

"maybe you should confess to her, shun. ya know before someone takes her away."

shun has second thoughts about confessing to you but isshiki was right, you might get taken away by someone else

you wake up from your nap, "hey shun." a cute sleepy smile is sent his way, he resists the urge to freaking kiss u bc you're so cute-

"hey. can i tell you something?"

"what is it?" you're a little scared and nervous but you try and wave it off

he's trying his best, he really is, right now

"i...i..." oh fuck it, he hugs you tightly, making you fall back onto the bed, "i like you. not just as a friend...more than that.."

his face is buried on your shoulder, you can feel the heat on his cheeks

you're in shock but you hug him back, giggling, "shun, you really scared me for a moment there! i like you too!"

he's really relieved to hear your words, soon lifting up his face to kiss you

awe, you two are so cute-
