May 12, 1944, on patrol near the island of Shumshu crew Logan found the Japanese interceptor Gecko 204 kokutai, attacked and knocked him from the front of the course machine guns. But carried away by the attack, did not notice the second Gecko, crept up from below and shot Ventura from the top guns. None of the crew escaped.

[ニュース] 脚本参加3作品が公開されました

平成の終わりに（長野まで）運転免許を取ってきました。仮免実技の日によりによって豪雪になり、そこから続けて試験に落ちてすべての自信を失いました。もう返納したい。

ここ最近の脚本のお仕事をいくつかまとめて紹介します。

NHK Eテレ『ビットワールド』で放送中のアニメ『あはれ！名作くん』の第120話「トキメキ♡竜宮小」、第123話「出てきて！メイちゃん」の脚本を監督の新海岳人さんと共同執筆いたしました。『名作くん』参加は通算3、4本目で、YouTubeチャンネルでも無料公開がスタートしています。

まず「トキメキ♡竜宮小」。収録ではキャスト陣全員がノリノリになって盛り上がったらしく、当日のうちに「バカ受けでしたよ！」って連絡が来たのがすごい嬉しかったです。ピンとくる方もいらっしゃると思いますが、Eテレで流すものとしては、かなり挑戦的な内容になっています。「ギャルゲー」「乙女ゲー」といった片方のジェンダーを表す言葉を使わず単に「恋愛シミュレーションゲーム」としたのは、新海さんと一緒に大切にしたポイントです。

そして「出てきて！メイちゃん」。『名作くん』初の日本神話モチーフですね（たぶん）。 ところでアニメのメイちゃんめっっっちゃ可愛くないですか……？可愛い……声も顔も動きもちょうかわいい……。スーッって入ってくところ好きです（特に入る直前のところ）。ちなみに「これぞ本当の、大・メイ・わく～」というシリーズ史に残るサムいギャグを提案したのは僕なので、発言した名作くんや新海さんのセンスではないということだけはお二人の名誉のためにここに記しておきます。

今年は1本でも多く『名作くん』に貢献したい。

それと、

ぼくが脚本を担当した短編アニメ『SHUMSHU』がYouTubeで公開されました。第二次世界大戦で日・ソ最後の激戦地となった占守島（しゅむしゅとう）を舞台にしたストーリーで、監督は大川原亮さんです。

読み応えのある緻密な原作、そしてクラファン時点から既に完成された見事なプロットを壊さないように肉付けしていく作業が主で、一ヶ月ほど監督の大川原さんやＰの大山慶さんと濃密な時間を過ごして出来上がったシナリオです。セリフの細部などは共同作業ですが、ラストシーンなどはぼくが提案させて頂きました。

「シュムシュ」という名前は実は日本・ロシアで共通していて、さらにアイヌの言葉が語源とされていることもあり、それぞれの架け橋となるタイトルとして『SHUMSHU』が提案されました。特に『SHUMSHU』という響きで千島アイヌの人々の痕跡もこの作品に残せて、良かったなと思っています（このあたりは監督と相談したわけではないので、ほんと個人的に、ですが）。僕は脚本作業で抜けていますが、完成までの多くの困難を乗り越えられた日・露のスタッフの皆さまに深く敬意を表します。

ここまで書いてフト気がついたけれど、ちょうど5年前にあった『伝える』の下北沢トリウッド興行でトークショーのゲストにお招きした新海さんと大山さんとの別々のお仕事がいまほぼ同時公開されてるってすごい。本当に本当に有り難いです。逆に言えば5年必要だったんだと思う。それでもまだまだスタートしたばっかり。がんばりたいよ。がんばります。

現在この島の住民は灯台守だけで民間人はいない。また島への上陸はロシア連邦軍の許可が必要で、ペトロパブロフスク・カムチャツキーからヘリコプターで約2時間かかる。
