i hate doing laundry ough it's The Worst

#not only does leaning down to move my stuff hurt my back #but i have to touch dirty clothes and go into the dirty room and touch the dirty machines and i have to wear 2 pairs of socks (so my #normal socks dont touch the contaminated floor) and when i lean over the washing machine my clothes touch it <-the worst part of it all #tbh. now my current clothes are dirty but i have nothing to change into and i will have to wear them all day and it makes me SICK #and i cannot talk abt how dirty the garage (where the laundry machines are) it makes me nauseous that place kills me if i never #had to go into it ever again i would and i have to carry a laundry basket (dirty) and it touches my clothes when i carry it (disgusting)#and now my clothes are even more dirty and i feel like i cant touch any of my things bc i dont want to infect them but i cant just do #nothing all day when i have to do laundry but it makes me so SICK i need smth to cover all of my clothes but everything i've tried misses #some part and my clothes are ruined and it makes me SICK how am i supposed to do school or draw or anything when it's so bad #i have everything scheduled so i can take a shower and go straight to bed after i'm done but still it's so bad and it stresses me tf out #and i have to do laundry every 3 days because i only have 3 towels to use after showering and even if i did have more towels #i still would have to do laundry as often bc i couldnt handle doing multiple loads or having bigger loads my back couldnt handle that #w the system i have set up now it's just bad it;s all bad i hate doing laundry #i dream of one day where i can do laundry in a better way i think it'd involve not having the washer and dryer down steps bc that's #dangerous for one and for two not having them in a garage bc garages stress me out and three to have smth to cover all of my clothes #and 4 to have machines that dont need me to bend down idk if they have ones like that but it hurts #anyway that's it for listening to dux complain abt smth that ultimately doesnt matter and is only a problem bc their brain #chemistry is off #k bye i have to go do laundry *explodes* and take an exam *explodes* it;s an essay exam *explodes* and then im going #to like sit around feeling sick thumbs up emoji

Y’know sometimes I forget that it is Not a good idea to talk mental health stuff with my mom because This Is My Mom We’re Talking About 9 times out of ten reasoning with her is like talking to a brick wall

#꒰🥀꒱ ❝ Tragic Prose ❞#waiter! waiter! more late night venting #le sigh. sorry for the little rant I just need to get this out of my system so I don’t go to bed irritated #so before I hit the hay I tried bringing up the possibility of me having OCD to my mom #she immediately rebutted saying ‘no you don’t. when’ve you ever done something over and over again’#or something to that effect. can’t remember her exact wording #so I tried to bring up a common compulsion I have (the bathroom has an ant probelm so I get worried that ants get on the towels)#> (and when I wipe myself after shower I could get ants all over me)#and she dismissed THAT again saying I just have anxiety and ‘if I [really] had OCD I’d clean the shower’#so then I remembered who I was talking to and dropped the subject #Y’know chances are she’s probably right. I probably might not have OCD and I just have a slightly more severe than usual case of anxiety #I mean she’s a gigantic basket case (I can see where I get it from) so she has to know what she’s talking about #but ugh. I really wish she wasn’t so quick to be dismissive #it’s stuff like this that makes me want to avoid talking about my mental health with her like the plague #okay rant over I need to go to bed it’s almost midnight #as I write it’s 11:37 pacific time so if you’re up right now and reading this. go to bed

#this morning was a cluster fuck #beba has a fever #so he isn’t feeling good and have been monitoring him closely since yesterday #and so I had to get him in to see a doctor #well my doctor is out of town #so the other doctors in her office are available but I was told it’s first come first serve #so I had to call in this morning at 645 right when the office team logged on to see about getting him scheduled today #the office staff told me to do that to ensure I get him in to be seen #so I did that #and prior to that I fed him at like 4 and he puked on me #so I had to squeeze in a shower this morning that I didn’t have time for #then I had to grab his laundry out of the drier before I left because he had no clean clothes #and in the process of doing that I lost my phone #so I’m scrambling around the house trying to find it #only to find it IN THE LAUNDRY basket #and then I was rushing to get to work #almost made it on time too if traffic wasn’t so bad #and then I get to work and realize that the baby car seat is in MY CAR #😐😐😐😐😐😐#my husband figured it out #but my god I am so beyond over today already like fuck this

I was bit by a mosquito (I think) six times today. SIX. In the span of like 30 minutes. Mosquitoes have never fucking liked my blood. I have three bites on my neck and when I got them I thought I’d like… touched a poisonous plant and then touched my neck because my entire neck was BURNING. One of the bites is on my KNEE. I was wearing JEANS. Full length. What the fuck

#got home threw all my clothes in the laundry basket hopped in the shower #Something about that entire experience made me feel GROSS #And also if an animal was on me or in my clothes I wanted it GONE lol #We’d run out of hot water apparently so the water just. Entirely plausible that you've already thought of it, but I would strongly recommend tiling/waterproofing and putting a drain in the floor of the laundry room that connects to the sewer. Maybe I just have an irrational fear of leaking washer machines, but for me, protecting against water damage/already having a drain was the main reason I put the laundry in the basement (I have the option/hookups to put it on the second floor where my main living space is, but the potential water damage.... 😬). I also don't trust the clearly "mickey-moused" hookups that are upstairs in my house, but that's beside the point.

On the inspector gadget notes, I dunno. I think installing a ceiling track through the entire house so that you could have a "Oh shit POTS" hanging chair wherever you needed it would be rather fun. And you can't tell me that the crow brain wouldn't love having a swing in any spot it wanted it. 😁

Once I get a washer and dryer on the main floor of the house instead of the basement, it's over for you hoes. (The laundry pile, my executive dysfunction, and POTS)

#I mean sure a wheelchair makes a ton more sense than a hanging chair #but it's not nearly as fun #with a little ingenuity and a couple motors you now have a chair that goes up and down stairs #no need for a basket when you can just put stuff on your lap!#But anyway #I definitely think every laundry room should be treated like a walk in shower #waterproof base pan and all #but it probably is overkill
