Biotronix Shoulder Wheel Round Wall Mounted For Shoulder Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation
You may adjust the wheel's height and tension (resistance) with the knobs. Simply turn the wheel forward or backward while gripping the handle to operate it. The patient might choose to stand forward or sideways. This range-of-motion therapy tool allows the physical therapist to assess the patient's abilities. What’s your favorite shoulder stretch? 🌱 This is definitely mine, especially combined with gently flexing and extending the spine (like in cat pose). 🌿 I usually check in at the start of class to see if anyone has any particular areas that need some extra nurturing and shoulders is often on that list. This move is nice because you can easily adapt by walking forwards in space - it can go from a forward bend like you see here into all the way into standing up right or even gently extending the upper back. Back in 2011-2012 mobility wasn’t a priority. I was big into heavy lifting and form came second to quantity of weight. At the time I thought I felt great but looking back my body lacked the mobility it needed. I was always in some kind of shoulder and lower back pain and my body was carrying more weight then it should’ve. Fast forward a year later after researching mobility, body weight, calisthenics, yoga, inversions and more, I began to understand how important movement was.
