Note
I’m calling this Au “The Daycare Attendant’s Friend”. In this Au Sun and Moon are the same animatronic while Eclipse is a separate entity.
I’m still debating on how Eclipse should have ended up in the arcade machine. I’m leaning toward Eclipse being the original daycare attendant and he was decommissioned for being too expensive to take care of and because of his uncanny looks. Before he was decommissioned though he left parts of his code in the arcade machine. This fragmented version of him has trouble doing a lot of things considering it's just pieces of him but over time he started to build his own code.
The other idea I have is that he was just a spooky guy that came to be because of the misery of Sun and Moon and all the murders and remnant. I might just leave his background unknown though because sometimes a little mystery is good
Anyway, Eclipse is in the arcade machine and he makes contact with Sun and Moon. They become good friends (eventually). They’re only able to chat and talk after the daycare closes though and when the daycare assistant (which will either be an oc or y/n) leaves. The daycare assistant is good friends with Sun and Moon and unfortunately for Eclipse Sun and Moon end up spending more time with the assistant. As nice as Eclipse is there's only so much you can do with an Arcade machine that can only communicate through text. Sun and Moon don't exactly realize that they're neglecting poor Eclipse
After hearing about all the fun things they did with the assistant for the 100th time Eclipse finally asks if they can meet them. Sun and Moon immediately say no. After all when they first saw that Eclipse was a sentient arcade machine they didn't react well so who knows how a human would
Eclipse is upset obviously and ends up giving Sun and Moon the silent treatment. Days later the assistant does make it into Sun and Moon’s room. Idk why, still deciding why they would have a reason to go up there (maybe like a gift drop off or Eclipse lured them somehow). They find the arcade machine and decide ‘why not, let's play the strange arcade machine’. This is how Eclipse attaches himself to the assistant. This is also why I'm debating on what Eclipse’s origin should be because the supernatural option would make this scenario a lot more believable
Anyway, without even realizing the assistant has Eclipse stuck with them. They leave the room and carry on with their day. However, they see shadows in the corner of their eyes now. Sometimes they swear they can hear someone talking. Migraines are also an issue. Eventually, after a couple of days, the assistant gets to see Eclipse, the daycare attendant's friend (dun dun dun title card), in all his glory. The assistant thinks they're on drugs or something at first but things do get cleared up. He's like an imaginary friend to the assistant but unfortunately for the assistant Eclipse can possess them. He ends up doing this a lot as through possession he's able to finally interact with things again and gets to finally play games with Sun and Moon. Blah blah blah
Thanks for letting me ramble. Also sorry for the weird paragraph breaks. I'm using Tumblr on my phone and boy does it hate when I try spacing things
Gobbling this up in fact

“I freaking hate Tzuyu.”
You groan, dropping your head in your hands. Sympathetically, the bartender slides a glass of water towards you, accepting the grunt that you emit afterwards as a sort of thank you. You pause in your wallowing to take a long sip of the icy liquid, feeling the pressure in your head lift slightly.
“Rough night?”
The bartender’s smooth, baritone voice carries over the loud sounds of the club’s music, and you wince at his words.
“Something like that.”
The bartender looks as though he’ll say more, but he’s cut off by the sound of a high, feminine voice ordering another drink. You’re grateful for the distraction, sliding a wad of bills over the counter and slipping off of the metal stool. You appreciate the kindness he has shown you, but you really need to start looking for your sister.
Slowly, you begin to weave through the throng of clubgoers, searching for anyone who moderately resembles your sister. You wince as an elbow connects with your stomach and bite back a curse when a heel stabs your toe. Still, there is no sign of your sister.
Pushing your way to the far side of the club, you lean against a wall, panting slightly, and pull out your phone. The LED at the top signals that nobody tried to call or text you while you were struggling to navigate a mob of drunk clubgoers, and a knot of worry tightens itself in your stomach. It’s been over an hour since you last saw your sister. She left you at a booth with a few of your mutual acquaintances to go dance, and you haven’t seen her since. Giving them an awkward smile, you had slid out of the booth to go sit at the bar. You were more polite to them because they were your sister’s friends than anything, and you know you hadn’t been imagining the awkwardness that had settled into the air once your sister had left.
You quickly swipe through your phone, silently praying that Tzuyu will answer and tell you she took a cab back to your shared apartment and she forgot to tell you, or that she’s actually been in the bathroom constipated this entire time.
“Hi, this is Tzuyu, I’m busy right now, which is why I didn’t pick up…”
With a groan, you turn your phone off. Pushing yourself off the wall, you weave your way to the bathrooms, opting to begin your second search there. Unsurprisingly, the small metal stalls are empty. You cringe as your shoe sticks to an unknown substance, exiting the bathroom and mind racing about where Tzuyu’s whereabouts could be.
A cool breeze winds itself around you, tousling your hair gently and you freeze.
A breeze?
You turn away from the rest of the clubbers, following the hallway deeper into the building. The further you go, the darker it gets, and a second chill sets upon you, one unrelated to the cool breeze.
Heart pounding, you turn the corner and see a cracked doorway. The soft light of the night greets you, and you feel a spark of relief. Maybe her phone died and your sister went out this door to leave. You quickly hurry out the door, pushing it open and turning down the alleyway.
You’ve only gone a few paces, pulling out your phone to dial your sister again when your foot collides with something hard. Your arms flail as you attempt to right yourself, but you go down, your elbow colliding with something soft and your chin colliding with the hardness of the asphalt.
Letting out a groan, you try to push yourself up by pressing your hands against the ground on either side of you, but they slip. Something wet and sticky coats your hands, and confusion fills you as you blindly reach around you for your phone. Your fingers connect with the cold metal, and you’ve scarcely turned on the device and activated the flashlight before you’re greeted with the mutilated body of your sister.
It takes you a second to register that the loud noise you hear is your own screaming.
Tumblr media
You stare blankly ahead of you in shock.
Vaguely, you hear someone talking to you, but it’s like you’re underwater, all the sounds around you muffled. The image of your sister is frozen in your mind, your fingers trembling as you grip the blanket that someone wrapped around you tightly.
You think back to the last time you saw her, only a few hours ago, smiling and joyous and alive.
If she were here with you right now, she would have something comforting to say. She’d always been the more level of you too, somehow able to keep calm even in situations when you’ve felt panicked. But she’s not.
It should have been me, you think bitterly, rocking back and forth.
“Miss L/N.”
A hand settling on your arm causes you to jump and pull yourself out of your trance. Dumbly, you look at the hand, using it to trace your way up the unknown person’s wrist and arm until you can see their face. Concerned eyes stare back at you, and you force yourself to listen to what the unknown man is saying.
“I’m sorry to say this, but your clothes need to be bagged for evidence.”
You blink, unable to process the man’s words.
“Miss L/N, please. I know you want us to catch whoever did this to your sister, and we’re trying our best, but we need to bag your clothing as evidence.”
The mention of your sister clears the fog that has settled over you, and you nod. Weakly, you stand, following the man as he guides you to a restroom. He hands you a bag and a stack of clothes, instructing for you to change into the new set and bag the old clothes.
Robotically, you do as he tells you to until you’re changed into a sweater several sizes too big and a pair of jeans that cling to your legs tightly. You splash water on your face, staring at yourself hollowly in the mirror. You hardly recognize yourself, a foreign, hollow look in your eyes. Get it together, Y/N, you chide yourself. You can cry about this later. For Tzuyu.
Taking a deep, shaky breath, you turn, exiting the bathroom with the bag of your old clothes in your hands. As soon as you exit, several furtive glances are sent your way. You furrow your brows in confusion, and a new, unknown man hurries over to you.
“Please follow me quickly, Miss L/N.”
“I don’t understand.”
The man doesn’t respond, hurrying you through the station and down a hallway until you’re stopped in front of a closed door. A plaque centered on the door  reads “Sergeant Park.” Not wasting the time to knock, the man pushes open the door, taking the bag from your hands and ushering you in.
“Miss L/N, I’m so sorry about your loss.”
Hearing those words makes your throat tighten again, and you force your feelings down. You look around you, noting the awards adorning the walls around you. Two men stand inside the office, both wearing grim expressions. The one who spoke is seated behind the desk, and he stands, gesturing for you to take the free seat opposite him.
“There’s something we need to talk to you about.”
“My sister was a good person, she wasn’t mixed up in anything — ” You protest.
“That’s not what this is about.” The man opposite you, Sergeant Park, you assume, holds up his hand. “Time is crucial here, so please just listen to what I have to tell you.”
You nod, throat clogging from fearful anticipation.
“The Black Rose is the name of a powerful crime syndicate who’ve been running for the past few decades. We’ve tried our best to stop them, but they have connections everywhere.”
“My sister — ” You spring to your feet.
“Miss L/N. Please.”
You sink back into the chair, cheeks burning and thoroughly chastised. Once you’re seated, Sergeant Park continues.
“We’re not sure who all is involved with them, but what we do know is that they mark every kill, and they never kill without reason.”
Your thoughts race as you hear the unspoken words. “And my sister was marked,” you deadpan.
Sergeant Park nods grimly, and a hysterical laugh bubbles up within you. It dies instantly at the serious expression on Sergeant Park’s face.
“That’s ridiculous.”
Sergeant Park purses his lips, speaking slowly. “Until we know for sure, we need you to go into witness protection. We promise that we wouldn’t make you do this if we weren’t sure that your life is at serious risk. Mr. Im?”
Sergeant Park gestures to the other person in the room, who you assume is Mr. Im. Until now, he’s been silent, and you almost forgot that he’s here. He gives you a gentle smile.
“Please, call me Jaebum.” His tone is soothing, and you want to trust him. Still, you bite your lip, hesitant.
Sergeant Park speaks again. “Mr. Im will protect you the entire duration of the program. I promise that you’re in good hands. You guys will leave tonight.”
Alarm bells ring in your head. “Wait, tonight? I don’t understand. I still have finals, and what about my life here — ”
“Miss L/N.” Sergeant Park fixes you with a stern look. “I understand that things may seem intimidating right now, but I need you to do your best to do what we say. You could be a key role in this investigation, and Mr. Im is here to ensure that no harm comes to you. I know that this isn’t ideal, but please just let us protect you.”
You look from Sergeant Park to Jaebum. The latter gives you a reassuring smile, and your head still reels from all of the events of the night, but you find yourself nodding.
“Okay,” you breathe. “Okay, what do I have to do?”
Tumblr media
“You keep twisting your bracelet.”
Jaebum’s voice pierces through your mindless thoughts and the dull monotony of the journey. You have been driving for the better part of the night, your thoughts still racing as you try to process everything. You look down at the bracelet Jaebum is talking about, and even though it’s dark you know what he’s talking about.
“My sister gave it to me,” you say simply.
“It must be pretty important to you, then,” he observes, eyes never straying once from the road.
“Something like that,” you say, assuming that’s the end of the conversation. Seconds later, Jaebum speaks again.
“Look, Y/N, I know that a lot has happened in one night — ”
“Please don’t,” you whisper, voice cracking. You clear your throat, staring out the window at the dark shadows of the landscape. “Don’t try to act like you understand how I feel. Twenty-four hours ago I was just a college student, and now…”
You swallow thickly, a lump forming itself in your throat.
“You are still just a college student, Y/N.”
“You know, aren’t you supposed to be using my new name?” You force yourself to change the topic, looking at Jaebum out of the side of your eyes.
Jaebum coughs awkwardly. “We aren’t there yet, and I thought that using your real name would make you more…comfortable with me.”
You scoff, but don’t speak. Awkward silence fills the car, interrupted only by the occasional sound of the night from outside your car window.
You remain like that for the rest of the ride. Everytime you think about saying something, you bury it, not wanting to show interest.
After a while, the road turns to dirt. The car bounces along the new road, and you can’t help but feel even further isolated from your old life. Jaebum pulls down a narrow driveway, and then the car stops, bathing a small cottage in the car’s light. Jaebum turns off the car’s ignition, and as you open the car’s door, you can hear the soft sound of waves crashing. Sand crunches beneath your shoes as you take in the sights around you.
You hear the sound of the trunk close, and seconds later Jaebum rounds the car, duffel bags gripped in his hands.
“This is it,” Jaebum says.
“I guess so,” you agree, exhaling nervously. You follow Jaebum up the cottage’s steps, hovering uncertaintly as he unlocks the front door. Following him inside, you squint against the bright  yellow lights of the cottage.
You’re standing in a small living room. To your left is the kitchen and what you assume is the dining room, and to the right is a hallway. Jaebum leads you down the hallway, setting one of the duffle bags in front of a plain, unassuming white door.
“This is your room. Mine is right next to you.” Jaebum knocks goofily on the door in front of him, and you let out a short laugh.
“Okay.”
You grab your bag, pushing open the door to the room. You pause in the doorway, unsure. “Good night, Jaebum.”
A moment passes, and then you can hear the smile in his voice when he says, “Good night, Y/N.”
Tumblr media
“Tzuyu! Where are you?”
You’re in a meadow, tall stalks of wheat reaching your shoulders. You frown, trying to remember how you got here, but you can’t. Alarm bells ring in your head, and you push through the stalks, searching for your sister.
“Tzuyu! Tzuyu! Where — are — you?”
Your voice is reflected back at you, distorted and garbled. Panic rises in you, bubbling hot like lava, and you begin to push through the stalks around you faster.
Finally, you stumble upon a clearing. A flock of birds takes flight, and your eyes scan the clearing, frantic. A body lies on the ground unmoving, and you run towards it.  Deep in your gut you know who it is, but that doesn’t stop the gasp that leaves you as you clearly identify the girl lying there.
It’s Tzuyu.
The sight of her body makes you freeze, and before you can stop it you trip. When you regain your bearings, you’re back in the alley again. You blink, trying to orient yourself, and as you do Tzuyu’s hand shoots out, wrapping itself around your wrist. A scream gets choked in your throat as your sister sits up,  smile stretching too wide for her face.
“Why didn’t you save me?”
“Tzuyu, you’re hurting me,” you cry, trying to pry your sister’s grasp from your wrist. She only holds on tighter, other hand shooting out and wrapping itself around your throat.
“Why didn’t you save me? Why didn’t you SAVE ME?”
A scream tears its way out of your throat, and you shoot into a sitting position, clutching the comforter you had admired just hours earlier against you. Your breathing is ragged, and dimly you hear heavy footsteps. Seconds later, harsh light floods your room and you throw your hand against your forehead, shielding your eyes from the intrusion.
Jaebum’s eyes are wild as he takes in your room, the way you’re sitting up, clutching the comforter against you. His muscles relax as he ascertains that you are physically safe, eyes softening at the sight of you.
“Are you okay?”
You nod, embarrassment beginning to seep through your previous horror.
“I’m sorry, had a nightmare.” You force yourself to laugh, the sound an octave too high to be believable. “You can just go back to your room, everything is fine.”
You swallow forcefully, staring down at the comforter and picking at a thread that has unwound itself from the careful stitching. Silently, you yell at Jaebum to leave. You’re not sure how much longer you can stand being mortified, discomfort seeping into the air around you.
After a long pause, you hear the gentle click of your door close. You don’t bother to look up, instead electing to close your eyes, sure that by the count of ten, he’ll be gone.
You’ve just reached eight when you feel your bed dip, and strong arms wrapping themselves around you. You stiffen, eyes snapping open to glare at the offender.
“You don’t have to treat me like a baby, I told you that I’m fine.”
“It’s okay to be weak you know.”
To your immense horror, you feel your eyes begin to well. You blink rapidly, trying to untangle yourself from Jaebum’s presence, but he holds on tightly. Before you can stop it, all of the emotions of the past twenty-four hours hit you, crashing against the gate that you had shoved them behind. The emotions you felt at your sister’s death, the emotional burden of having to suddenly end your old life and going into hiding suddenly become too much, and before you can help it tears stream down your cheeks. You gasp as you struggle to breathe, everything suddenly just becoming too much.
Time goes by without either of you realizing it, and neither of you know how long you remain in that position, Jaebum patting your back lightly as your grief pours out of you. After a few sniffles and swipes across your eyes you let out a groan, pulling away and digging the heels of your palms into your eyes.
“God, I can’t believe I just did that.”
“It’s okay, everyone has to let go of emotions at some point.” Jaebum gives you a gentle smile. “You should try to get some rest.”
“Will you stay with me?” Jaebum’s eyes widen, and you quickly scramble to backtrack. “I mean, you don’t have to — I don’t know what I was thinking — ”
“Of course I will.” Jaebum cuts off your ramble, smiling brightly. “I’ll just bring in a blanket from my room and sleep on the floor — ”
“You can share with me if you want. I don't mind; we both need a good night sleep, right?” You blurt quickly, panting slightly as you finish your question. Jaebum simply laughs, running a hand through his hair. He climbs onto the bed and lays on his side, patting the bed next to him. Shyly, you crawl next to him, laying down and trying not to think about the position you’re in too deeply.
Wrapped in the comfort of Jaebum’s warmth, you close your eyes, focusing on the gentle sounds of your breathing. A sense of tranquility washes over you, and you finally fall asleep.

Astral Pt. 5 (Loki x Reader)
I actually wrote the first part today cuz this was extremely short before because i wasn’t sure if i should put fillers! In the end i decided to keep it plot heavy but also tried to not make it boring even if this is the first time the two argue and it goes incredibly side ways in ways Loki didn’t imagine lol
Tumblr media
You had come to your safe room to speak with Loki on a sensitive matter, a choice, that you had to make soon. In three days it would be your 18th birthday, not that that was the relevant matter. Shield had contacted you one day through your phone. You had spoken to a nice gentleman by the name of Coulson. He had given you an offer you couldn’t refuse.
Call this number. That had been the text that you had received. Too curious for your own good, you did.
Coulson had addressed himself as an operative under Shield, Strategic Homeland blah blah blah the name was a mouthful. He had offered to give you a job somewhat dangerous but the hazard pay was well enough to keep you comfortable. You were actually going to decline it but Coulson stopped you and said he could offer a higher education and a place to live if that was your concern.
Hook, line, and sinker. Anyplace, away from this horrid house, was loads better. Your parents had calmed recently now that you actually stood up for yourself and knew how to fight but the memories in this forsaken house dragged your spirit down too much. Not to mention the haunting nightmares you had on the regular.
However, you wanted to speak to Loki about this all. More or less you just wanted his blessing, you already knew what you were going to do. You already had the feeling in your gut that the conversation wasn’t going to end well. You prided yourself in knowing Loki through and through, him you too, and you know Loki is hard about trusting anyone. Not to mention his paranoia reached unsurmountable proportions. You were pretty sure Loki would make a plan A and stick to it but would try to think of every possible outcome and end up having the entire alphabet as a backup plan. He was good at adapting to what the situation called for.
When Loki entered the room he realized how you tensed the closer he got so he stayed away, the hurt look on his face almost caused you to run and hug him but if he touched you you knew you wouldn’t be able to leave him.
The conversation started nice enough even if you both stood across the room from each other, you with your hands dangling at your sides not really knowing what to do with them. You had asked how his family was treating him and he had answered positively enough that you didn’t feel the need to intervene. Then, because you were too scared to bring up the sensitive topic, asked him how the weather was. That caused Loki to squint at you suspiciously. You have never once asked such a insignificant question.
“What are you hiding?”
“They want me to work for them once I turn 18,” You told Loki who stood across the room from you confused, “Shield.” He frowned and shook his head, moved to stand across the table you had hid behind.
“Don’t. We don’t know anything about this Shield corporation. It sounds like they want to use you as a weapon.” Loki said boldly, his hand resting on the chair now white knuckled.
“I told them I would join them if they gave me a place to live.”
Loki’s wandering eyes snapped to yours.
“Tell them you changed your mind.”
“No.” You said frowning at Loki. “You know what I have to live with every day, can you blame me for wanting to get out as soon as I possibly can?”
“Your living situation isn’t desirable but you don’t know anything about Shield. Your living situation may be more safe than what they’re offering.” Loki said, his voice starting to raise.
“I’m going with them, they seem ok enough.” You said with a finality in your tone. Loki wasn’t going to change your mind. You kept up the staring contest he started. Both of you becoming more angry the longer you looked at each other. Loki was the first to break the eye contact.
“I will not watch you hurt yourself, if you go, it is without my support, do not come back here to cry if they turn out to be something worse than you’re expecting.” Loki challenged, his eyes coming back to yours. He thought the ultimatum would make you change your mind, he must have thought you’d do anything to stay with him, but all it did was encourage you to leave out of stubbornness.
You really like Loki, he’s been the best best friend you could ever ask for but that doesn’t mean you’re willing to endure the memories of your house longer with unknown hope as to whether Loki would come save you or not. He had said soon but he had also said soon about Thor’s coronation and that still hadn’t happened, to your knowledge. He was a God that had lived over 1000 years, it’s only natural that his view on the word soon was so vastly different from your definition of soon. It was time you started taking your life into your own hands, you shouldn’t need someone to save you, you needed to save yourself. You needed to prove, to whom you’ve no idea, that you could do this without help.
You let out a angry chuckle, “Fine. you know I don’t like ultimatums but I will not hesitate to make a choice. Good bye, Loki.”
The last thing you saw was Loki’s wide eyes and his hand trying to grab you from across the table but you had closed your eyes and willed yourself away. If he had been fast enough to grab you, you would have stayed, told him he was right.
But...
He wasn’t fast enough.
Laying on your bed you took a few deep breaths but couldn’t force your tears to not fall. You curled up on your side into a fetal position and cried the hardest you had cried in years. You could never go back to Loki.
Once you had calmed you called Coulson and gave him your answer. You started to pack what little you appreciated and shoved your feelings of Loki out of you mind for now.

Café pt. 3
A/N: Hellooo everyone, here’s part 3 of my first fic. It took me ages to start writing this part because I was busy with midterms, projects and blah blah blah. I hope you like it and please let me know what you think :) @natasharomanoffismywife I’m not sure if you wanted me to keep tagging you, but here you go just in case <3
Part 1 Part 2

Tumblr media
Natasha Romanoff x Fem!reader
Warnings: none
Word count: 1.3k
Last night you had agreed on going on a date with Natasha, and to say you were nervous was an understatement.
You were sitting at your desk in your office, bouncing your leg under it, glancing at the clock every two seconds. It was currently 4:30 p.m., which meant you had half an hour left of work.
“I swear to God, it’s like this stupid clock goes slower every time I look at it” you huffed.
You turned to your laptop trying to finish some paperwork before leaving. All you could think about since you woke up this morning was the date with Natasha. It was embarrassing how desperate you were to see her again and you didn’t even know why you felt like that, you barely knew her. You didn’t even know her last name for God’s sake.
But somehow you couldn’t shake the feeling of electricity you felt when she touched your hands and the shivers that ran through your body when she first talked to you. Maybe it was love at first sight, you thought. You burst into laughter because of how stupid that sounded. There’s no such thing as love at first sight… right? Your thoughts were abruptly interrupted by someone knocking at your door.
“Come in” you said.
“Hey Y/N, me and some other guys are going out for drinks later tonight, want to join us?” one of your co-workers, Chris, asked you.
“I can’t tonight, I’m sorry, Chris” you replied glancing at the clock for the hundredth time that day, you noticed it was 4:56pm so you started gathering your things so you could finally leave.
“Why not? Come on, it’ll be fun. Plus, it’ll be a great opportunity to get to know each other better” Chris insisted and you sighed. You’ve lost count of how many times Chris has asked you out and you were running out of ways of how to tell him that you weren’t interested in him or that you weren’t interested in men for that matter, but it was as if he was ignoring the fact that you were telling him you weren’t straight and you were tired of it.
“I said I can’t tonight, Chris. I have a date” you said standing up, grabbing your handbag and phone and making your way to the door.
“You have a date? With who?” He raised an eyebrow at you.
“With a girl… not like it’s any of your business anyway” you responded and he smirked.
“Oh, come on Y/L/N, you’ll have a better time with me” he said with a smug look on his face. You locked the door to your office and turned around to face him.
“For the gazillionth time, I don’t play for your team, have a nice weekend” you smiled and patted him on the shoulder and started to walk to the elevator to exit the building. You heard other co-workers laughing, having heard what you said to Chris. When you made it to the parking lot you got in your car and started driving to your apartment.
When you got there you quickly went inside, ran up the stairs to your room and stopped in front of your closet.
“What the hell am I going to wear?” You started taking clothes out of the closet, throwing them all over the floor until your eyes landed on a short black dress. “Perfect” you said, grabbing a pair of matching heels to go with it. You looked at the clock on your bedside table.
5:47 p.m.
You checked your phone to see if you had any messages before getting ready and you noticed you got a text from the redhead.
Natasha:
Hey, are you still up for tonight?
You:
Of course :)
Natasha:
Good, see you at 7 ;)
You:
Seriously, how are you supposed to pick me up without knowing where I live?
Natasha:
Like I said, I have my ways ;)
You:
Are you a stalker or something?
Natasha:
Don’t you watch the news or read the papers?
You:
Not really…
Natasha:
Ah, that explains everything
You:
That explains what? What do you mean?
Natasha:
I’ll explain later
You:
Fine :(
You throw your phone on the bed and head to the bathroom to get ready. You showered, did your hair and makeup and got dressed. When you were done, you had 20 minutes to spare, so you headed downstairs to wait for Natasha. You decided to watch Friends to distract yourself from the nerves you were feeling. A while later you heard knocks on your door, you grabbed your phone to look at the time.
7:00 p.m.
You took a deep breath and got up from the couch and made your way to the door. When you opened it, it revealed Natasha in a short silk red dress, black heels, her red hair in perfect curls and roses in one hand.
“Wow…” was all you could say, making her chuckle.
“Thanks, you look wow as well, Y/N” she winked at you. You shook your head smiling.
“These are for you” she said as she handed you the roses.
“Thank you, they’re really beautiful. I’m going to put them in a vase, wanna come in?” you asked her.
“I’m glad you liked them and sure, I’d love to come in” a smile playing at the corner of her lips. You stepped aside to let her in, closing the door behind her. Natasha took in her surroundings as you made your way to the kitchen to get an empty vase and fill it with water.
“Seriously though, how did you get here?” you said from the kitchen.
“Seriously though, a little more Fox News and a little less Friends” she said as she pointed at your TV.
“Why should I watch the news?” you asked confused. “Oh, my God… you’re a killer on the loose, aren’t you?” you heard Natasha burst into laughter. She stopped laughing once she noticed the look on your face.
“Oh, you weren’t joking… okay, um, I’m Natasha Romanoff” she said.
“And I’m Y/N Y/L/N… so?” you said still confused.
“Right, okay. Have you heard of the Avengers?” she asked you and your mouth made an “o” shape.
“You- you’re, you’re one of the Avengers?” you asked in shock and she nodded. You let out a sigh of relief.
“Oh, thank God. I really did think for a second you were a killer on the loose” you said, feeling safe after the new found information. She shook her head smiling.
“So… do you still want to go out with me?” she asked looking at the floor.
“Why wouldn’t I want to?” you put the roses you’ve been holding this whole time in the vase and placed it on a table by the couch, stepping closer to Natasha.
“Because my life is… difficult. Dating me would be difficult. I could put you in danger or you could get hurt or…” you interrupted her “hey, hey, it’s okay. I don’t care that it could be difficult… I think I can handle it. And don’t you think I would be in more danger if I was by myself?” you said.
“Yes, but-” she tried to argue but you interrupted her again “yes, but nothing. Now, let’s go to wherever you’re planning on taking me because I’m getting very hungry” you said as you grabbed the TV remote and shut off the TV. You grabbed your phone, keys, coat and purse and started making your way to the front door. Natasha stood in her spot taken aback.
“Are you coming?” you asked looking at her. She smirked and said “Bossy… I like it”.

Nanny, Part 3
Tumblr media
Gif Credit: @angels-reyes
Another long one babies, but stay with me! The good stuff is comin! 😈 if I missed you in my tags please message me and let ya girl know. ❤️
——————————————-
After you all came back from the beach Letty stopped you in the kitchen. “Hey Y/N, what are you doing today?”
You were currently making a snack for Natalie who was patiently playing on the floor literally at your side. “I guess just hang out here, I mean whatever everyone else wants to do is fine with me.”
“Lame, hey wanna go shopping? There’s a mall not that from here I already googled it.” She picked up her phone and shows you the screen.
“Okay sure, let me just let Angel know I’m taking Natalie. One sec.” you walk over to the living room where Angel was sat and place an arm on his shoulder and he instinctively brings his hand up to rest on yours. “Hey Letty and I were going to head to the mall, do some shopping so I’m taking Natalie with.”
He lays his head back on the couch and looks up at you, “Nah leave her with me. You’re not on the clock querida, have fun.”
You and Letty grab your things and head out. EZ was in the living room with Angel coloring with Natalie and she was force feeding him some of her snacks. Just then EZ’s phone went off and it was a text from Letty.
“Ok go! Our plan starts now.”
“So what’s going on with you and Y/N?”
Angel looked confused, “what do you mean? I don’t know man you’re the one who told me to bring her here.”
EZ rolled his eyes, “yeah but I mean, are you gonna ask her out? Apparently she’s been talking about it with Letty non stop. She’s been all like when is angel finally gonna ask me out? Angels so cute blah blah and we all know you have a thing for her. We saw you in the water today.”
Angel cocked an eyebrow in his brothers direction. “Yo can you stop eating my kids food? You guys didn’t see shit today in the water. We were all in the water messing around..... she said that? She really wants me to ask her out? Like on a date or some shit?”
EZ nodded his head “yeah I mean not some shit but a date. You know she’s lowkey she won’t say anything about it especially not to you. I say go for it. She’s a good girl Angel.”
“Man shut up..” angel leaned back against the couch and thought for a while before finally speaking up again “hey you think you could keep an eye on Natalie tonight?”
“Yeah of course” just then EZ pulled his phone out and sent a text to Letty.
“Alright he’s in. I’m pretty sure he’s going to ask her out tonight. Also we have to baby sit Natalie. It’s all you now. Don’t mess it up.”
Smiling at her phone Letty looked up at the outfit you had on. “Daaaaaamn girl! Yes! You need to get that. Like now. Wait til Angel sees you in this, he’s going to lose his shit!”
You snapped your head back so fast “wait Angel? Why would Angel care?”
“Oh come on, the man is basically swooning over you. It’s kinda nauseating. We all see how he looks at you and all he talks about with Coco is how he so badly wishes you’d give him a chance, how he wants to ask you out but you’d never want to go out with a guy like him.”
You furrowed your brows and smoothed your outfit over your curves while looking in the mirror. “He really said that? That’s not true. Angel’s amazing. He’s so kind, gentle, smart, he’s such a good dad and he’s so funny.” Your mind trailed off to all of the other things you wanted to say .. how he was so sexy, how he gave you butterflies just at the mention of your name, how delicious his lips looked, how intoxicating his scent was. How all you wanted to do was grip his biceps while you grind your hips into him..
“Helllooooo.... are you even listening to me?” Letty snaps her fingers in your face.
“Sorry what?”
“You need the outfit. Get it!”
————————————————-
“Damn what you guys do buy the whole mall?” Coco notices the many bags in your hands as you head inside.
“A little retail therapy never hurt no one coco” you said as you winked at him. Heading into your room to put your things down, you heard a knock at the door and was surprised to see Angel on the other end.
“Oh hey, what’s up? Everything okay?” You studied Angels face and suddenly your heart began to ache at the thought of Angel thinking he wasn’t enough.
“Yeah, you wanna get something to eat? I never really thanked you for coming over in the middle of the night the other day.”
“Oh, Angel you don’t have to-”
“Nah come on, I already asked EZ to watch Natalie for a bit, I saw this Italian place on the way here. Be ready by 7.” He walked away quickly leaving you no room to protest.
7 came quick. You did a once over in the mirror and tussled your hair before feeling satisfied and walked out into the living room. Coco and Angel were in conversation when Coco looked in your direction, eyes wide, slapping Angel on the chest. Angel glanced up and did a double take before swallowing hard. “Fuck meeeee” he whispered. The outfit you bought earlier today was turning heads in every direction.
Tumblr media
“Ready?” You ask Angel who looks absolutely flustered.
“Yeah yeah, let’s go.” As you turn to walk away Cocos eyes travel to your ass. Angel notices and delivers a quick jab to his stomach “stop asshole.”
———————————————
Dinner was amazing, the place was a little upscale so you were glad you were dressed appropriately. You couldn’t help but notice the prices next to everything and kicked yourself for letting him take You here and not somewhere more laid back.
“So..... ice cream?” Angel asked as you both got up to leave the restaurant. You smiled that warm smile, the one that made him feel like putty in your hands “ugh yes! Ice cream!”
You found an ice cream spot along the beach front and decided to go with a banana split to share.
Angel looked at you for a few seconds before finally breaking the silence, “So, what about you?”
You look over at him “me? What about me?”
“You want kids one day?”
“Oh, yeah. I want a bunch of em,” you chuckle before continuing on, “like 3, maybe 4. I grew up with a small family. Parents were shit and I have a sister but uhhhh.. we were never really close. So I want my kids to have the best parents and have each other when I’m gone. Make those memories you know? What about you? Do you want to have anymore some day?”
Angel took a bite of the banana split before passing you the bowl. “I don’t know. I never really thought about it. My life is fucked up and crazy as it is.. and it’s just me and Natalie. If I ever find someone crazy and fucked up as me, then maybe.”
You looked down at the sand and asked the question you had been wanting to ask for 4 long months, “so, your ex, Natalie’s mom, what happened?”
“Shit I don’t know. We were engaged, then pregnant, then we had Natalie and it all just fell apart. I started working a lot and she spent a lot of time with pop and the baby, and one day she just left and never came back. Left me. Left our kid. I haven’t heard from her since. Man and I didn’t know what I was doing it was all fucked up. I still can’t even take care of my kid without someone’s help. Sad huh?”
You put the now empty bowl of ice cream on the sand and placed your hand over Angels. “Nope. Not at all. For what it’s with Angel, I think you’re an incredible dad who loves his baby. And I think you were dealt a shitty hand and you’re doing the best you can. And that’s all Natalie will care about.”
Angel took your hand in his, “thank you for everything you do Y/N. Natalie loves you. And I’m glad she has you around. I’m so relieved that you told Letty you been wanting me to ask you out. Shit it’s like a weight was lifted!”
You let out a laugh before realizing what he said “wait, she said that I’ve been wanting you to ask me out? I never told her that... as a matter of fact she said you wanted to ask me out.."
“What? I didn’t say that yeah me and EZ were talking when you went to the mall and —-"
“Those assholes... they set us up.” You let out another laugh and Angel laughs with you. “I don’t know what’s funnier, the fact that we let them set us up or the fact that I’ve never heard you swear until tonight."
You threw your head back in laughter “oh I swear all the time!”
“Well, I guess we should be getting back. I don’t know how much longer I trust Natalie in a house full of those pushovers. She’ll be running it when we get there.” He stood up and lent you his hand to help you up. You began walking back but he still had a hold on your hand.
“Are you coming?” You ask as you turn to face him.
“Yeah, it’s just... you look... incredible mi dulce.. I mean not just today, all the time , but right now? God damn. I just needed you to know how amazing you look. And I’m trying to be respectful and shit but it’s getting hard the more I look at you.”
He walks closer to you and you can feel your heart beat pick up and your cheeks flush. His hands find their way to your hips and you look up at him, there’s a gleam in his eyes that you’ve never seen before, hungry, dark, filled with lust.
His face is so close to yours you can feel his breath on your lips, and you instinctively lick your own. “And all I wanna do right now is kiss you because I been wanting to do that for a while now and it’s driving me fuckin crazy.
“Angel..” your voice barely a whisper and he gently kisses you. You felt like your body was going to explode at just his kiss. Like in the movies where time stops and it’s just the two of you. How cliche were you?
Your hands resting on his forearms as he pulls you flush against him and traces your lips with his tongue. You let him in and the kiss becomes more desperate, but still gentle, and you don’t know how long you were standing there before he broke it to look at you again, resting his forehead against yours.
“Let’s get back.”
You felt dizzy and flustered and turned on and your butterflies in your stomach were on overdrive. You’ve never seen this side of Angel before and it was the best thing you have experienced. He held your hand the whole drive home and when you got back he stopped you at the front door.
“Oh my god they’re back!! EZ they’re here!” Letty whispered. They watched the two of you from the front windows like little kids on Christmas morning.
“I need more.” He pulled you in by his waist again and you let out a small laugh before meeting his lips again. He moved his kisses down your cheek, your jaw, chin, and neck and then guided you to the wall at the front porch. You were backed against the wall and his lips found yours again.
EZ covered Lettys eyes and she scoffed before slapping his hand down. “Holy shit! They’re into each other i fuckin knew it!” She said.
“Shit move they’re coming back in.” EZ dropped down on the couch pretended to be interested in whatever show was on tv.
“So, you guys have fun?” He asked as you and Angel made your way inside.
You greeted him with a smirk, “yeah it was nothin special.” And winked in Angels direction. “I’m going to bed, goodnight guys.” And you headed into your room.
You closed the door and leaned against it when you were in your room. You let out a long sigh and closed your eyes with a smile on your face. What the fuck was happening? Did that really just happen? You really kissed Angel? You were on cloud 9. You removed your makeup and changed into your pajamas and got into bed. Laying there, looking up at the ceiling, it was right then you realized that YOU were in trouble.

Part Thirty Eight - The Third Task
Tumblr media
Next
Masterlist
Yoongi x Y/n
After a horrible prank, Slytherin, Min Yoongi, is entered into the Triwizard Tournament. Y/n, feeling responsible, decides it’s her personal mission to make sure he survives the ordeal
~     ~     ~
Cheers of excitement filled the large room and Y/n felt the urge to cover her ears.
The day of the final task had finally arrived and the entire student body, plus the students from Durmstrang and Beauxbaton, had crammed into the Great Hall to witness the event. The regular house tables were gone, so that the room was a large, open space. For activities. Stands, similar to the ones in the Quidditch pitch, lined the walls. Teenagers squished together in the seats like one, giant, pubescent monster. Everyone was hollering and yelling because the three champions had just entered the hall.
Y/n tried to steady her breathing as she focused on Yoongi. He looked nervous. He stood with Ivanov and Bisset facing the head table where the teachers and the same ministry officials from the last two tasks sat.
Over the last month and a half, there had been total radio silence from Yoongi. After he blocked her number, Y/n didn’t try to contact him. She knew she didn’t have the right after lying to Yoongi for months. “It’s what I deserve,”  Y/n told her friends. They just looked at her with sympathy. Of course, she missed him. God, she missed him. Sometimes, she felt like she would give her right arm just to get him to look at her. But, she got nothing.
In potions class Yoongi had requested a different partner. Being a Slytherin and in Snapes favor, he got his wish. Now, Y/n spent every other afternoon with Amanda Nosewoff and Yoongi never so much as looked in her direction. She wished so badly that he would glance in her direction. Anything- even a glare would suffice. But, she got nothing.
The acceptance that Yoongi wanted nothing to do with her and that their relationship was over began to take its toll on Y/n. She would sleep through the weekends, ignoring her friends requests to go to Hogsmeade or to just hang around the castle.
Y/n also started skipping meals. In order to avoid Yoongi at all costs she would go hungry. Her figure grew thinner than normal and her eyes turned dull- as if her soul had been sucked out by a dementor.Unable to hide anything, her friends quickly noticed.
“Baby girl, you have to eat.” Jimin would plead with her. Y/n would shake her head.
“I’m not hungry.” She lied. Y/n loved him and Yoongi hated her.
In summary, Y/n was not doing well. Seeing Yoongi everyday felt like someone was wringing out her small intestine like a wet rag. And today was no different. Seeing him standing there with the other champions, about to face death, made Y/n feel like vomiting.
From his place next to Y/n, Taehyung gave Y/n a questioning glance. Y/n tried to brush off his concern.
“I haven't helped him prepare for this task.” She said. “I’m worried.”
Taehyung nodded in understanding. He didn’t press Y/n further on the subject. At the Head Table, the ministry official raised his hands to call for silence. The chatter died almost instantly.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” The man smiled. “Welcome to the final task of the Triwizard Tournament!” The crowd cheered wildly, but quieted again at the man's raised hand. “Our three champions have shown talent in skill in the previous tasks, every school should be proud of their students' efforts.” Y/n giggled quietly, having spotted Yoongi rolling his eyes. She ministry man raised his want and a picture seemed to project itself into the air. A large banner showed a profile picture of Yoongi, Jacque Bisset and Natalia Ivanov with numbers next to their names.
“In last place, with a score of 12, is our Hogwarts Champion, Min Yoongi!” The man announced happily. The Hogwarts students clapped half-heartedly and Y/n saw Yoongi blush. “In second place, with 15 points, is Jacque Bisset of Beauxbaton! And in first place, with 17 points, is the Durmstrang Champion, Natalia Ivanov!” Enthusiastic applause followed. The man flourished his wand once more and a plain door appeared behind the champions.
“This final task will test our champions' skill, determination, and bravery. One at a time they will enter this doorway. They must move through five different rooms to reach the Triwizard Cup. Each room will hold a different, dangerous challenge. First to the cup will be the Triwizard Champion.” The crowd cheered. “Though each champion will be brought to a different room, their ranking will give them a head start. Miss Ivanov will enter the doorway first, then Mr. Bisset, and Finally, Mr. Min.” The official smiled broadly. “If there are no questions, we will begin.”
The champions turned to face the door. “Miss Ivanov, whenever you are ready.” Without hesitation, Natalia walked forward, opened the door and walked through. Y/n could see through the doorway to the other side of the Great Hall, but Ivanov was gone.
Three minutes passed before the ministry official spoke again. “Mr. Bisset,” He motioned to the door. Jacque stumbled slightly, but walked to the door with confidence.
I can’t believe I ever dated him
After another three minutes, the man motioned to the door again. “Mr. Min,”
Y/n felt her stomach turn at Yoongi’s name. She didn’t want him in those rooms.
Yoongi walked forward slowly and gripped the door handle. He hesitated in the doorway.
“What’s he doing?” Jungkook whispered.
Then, Yoongi turned and looked directly at Y/n. Y/n’s eyes widened and her breath caught in a sharp intake. Yoongi just looked at her for a second, then he was gone.
Please, be safe.
~      ~      ~
Bisset entered the doorway and was gone with a slight shimmer of the air around him. Yoongi stood alone in the center of the room now, with 400 people staring at him. The room was quiet aside from occasional whispers. Yoongi fought the urge to turn slightly to the right and pick out the face he wanted to see most. Feigning disinterest for the last month was harder than he had expected. Now, standing in the face of danger, pretending to be angry seemed incredibly stupid.
Finding out that Y/n had known that Taehyung and Jungkook had put his name in the Goblet of Fire all along had broken Yoongi. Standing in that hidden corner of the Gryffindor Common Room, listening to Taehyung and Jungkook speak, Yoongi felt furious. Texting the groupchat full of their friends had been an act of spite. Yoongi regretted his actions as soon as he hit send on the words “I hate you”.
The anger that still boiled under his skin directed him to switch potions partners, but it was the regret that wouldn’t allow Yoongi to even look at Y/n. Like a magnet, He always knew where she was in a room without having to look and like the sun in the sky, Yoongi was forced to look away.
The loss of Y/n’s constant company hit Yoongi like a brick. Hoseok was his friend, of course, and the return of Jin made him happy, but it was like something cracked in his very soul. Smiles across the Great Hall, muffled laughter in class, waking up in the morning wishing you could stay in that position for the rest of eternity. All of that was gone. After a week of not speaking to Y/n, her friends, or even looking in her direction, Yoongi was positive he had made one of the biggest mistakes of his life. He missed her, horribly. It kept him awake at night, the gravity of the decisions he made out of anger. All of the cheesy symptoms of heart break afflicted Yoongi. He couldn’t sleep, He couldn’t eat, blah, blah, blah…
Hoseok and Jin pressed Yoongi to talk to Y/n, but he refused. He was never good at acknowledging his feelings before he was emotionally involved. Now? Yoongi would rather dance, stark naked, in the middle of the quidditch pitch than face his feelings and admit he made a mistake.
The reality of the situation was that standing, now, about to walk into danger. Yoongi was lonely, he was sad, and he missed Y/n.
The ministry official lifted his hand. “Mr. Min,”. Yoongi turned to the door and walked to the threshold. With one hand on the door knob he paused. Murmurs spread through the air. Then, Yoongi turned to look at Y/n. He didn’t have to search for her. Just like before, Yoongi always knew where she was.
Y/n’s lips parted and her eyes widened. Fear and confusion were etched into her features. She looked different. Yoongi tried to silently communicate what he couldn’t say out loud.
Goodbye.
Then, he turned and walked through the empty doorframe.
An uncomfortable chill went through Yoongi’s body and the Great Hall transformed in clouds of smoke. Suddenly, strong gusts of wind whipped at his face and Yoongi was standing on a ledge in front of a stormy sea. Yoongi raised his arm to his face to shield his eyes from the wind. Through squinted eyes, Yoongi could see cracked stone walls and ceiling that created the massive room. The water spanned the entire length of the room. Gigantic waves formed and crashed against the walls and the small ledge Yoongi balanced on. He could taste salt water on his lips. Light seemed to come from beneath the murky water, illuminating the room in a blue-green light. Yoongi could barely make out a plain, wooden door against the far wall. About 1,000 feet away.
“Okay..” Yoongi spoke to himself. He had never been the most talented swimmer in the best conditions, but he couldn’t really see another choice right now. Ungracefully, Yoongi crouched down and used his arms to lower himself into the water. He hissed a sharp breath. The water was ice cold. Yoongi released the ledge completely and the waves enveloped him immediately. Screaming wind was muffled under the water. He kicked his legs and arms out to pull himself to the surface. Yoongi emerged gasping for air. He pushed his arms forward through the waves. Wind sprayed water in his eyes so that they burned. He was certain they would be red later. Yoongi kicked and pulled his arms through the water. Slowly, he swam across the stormy sea. Waves pulled him under and Yoongi fought to the point of exhaustion to reach air. At the halfway point, his body burned from overuse. He paused, treading water, to catch his breath. He focused on catching his breath and timing his movements with the waves. Suddenly, sharp pain exploded from his ankle and with a cry of pain, Yoongi was yanked down.
Something was pulling him down further into the water. Yoongi opened his eyes in the green water and looked down. The light was fading the deeper he went, but Yoongi could make out the blurry form of something attached to his leg. A small octopus-like creature had two arms wrapped around him and six extra arms were flailing in the water, rapidly swimming down into the water. Yoongi recognized the creature immediately. A Grindylow. Since he began swimming, Yoongi had his wand held tight in his hand. He pointed it down at the Grindylow.
“Expulso!” Yoongi’s words came out garbled in the water, but a burst of light shot out from his wand. With a high-pitched screech, the Grindylow released his leg. Yoongi kicked out and pulled himself to the surface. Choked out water spewed from his mouth and Yoongi gasped for air. He caught his breath and tried to swim forward toward the door. He only made it 10 feet before he was yanked back down.
Faster than before, Yoongi was speeding towards the bottom of the sea. He opened his eyes again and saw several Grindylows attached to his legs, biting and pulling. Red blood flowed into the water and past Yoongi’s face. Yoongi aimed down and shot spells at the creatures. The first few missed, but one hit- killing the creature instantly. It floated off into the water and the pull into the dark slowed. Yoongi felt his lungs burning from lack of air. He shot another spell, shouting into the water. He hit another Grindylow and it swam off. It made the same high-pitched whine as the other. The water around him was so dark now, Yoongi could barely see. Or maybe that was his vision fading. Thinking fast, Yoongi aimed his wand again.
“Deprimo!” He wailed into the water with a flurry of bubbles. A large explosion erupted from his wand and blasted away the remaining Grindylows. Yoongi screamed silently. The explosion burned his legs and pulled at his wounds. Yoongi pushed the water with his arms and kicked toward the surface. He winced at the pain and black clouded his vision. Gagging, Yoongi hit air again and started to swim toward the ledge. His body begged for him to stop. Blood flooded the green water around him. He was so close, he couldn’t stop.
After agonizing minutes desperate for air, fighting the waves and trying to outrun the Grindylows, Yoongi reached the ledge. He dug his nails into the stone and flipped onto his back. The wind chilled his limp body and Yoongi stared up at the stone ceiling.
“Fuck this whole Tournament.” He groaned. Yoongi pulled himself to his feet and opened the wooden door, eager to leave the devil sea behind him.
The door closed behind Yoongi with a slam. Everything was still and quiet. Like before, Yoongi stood in a dimly lit stone room, but this room was small. Maybe 10 feet tall as it was wide. It was also freezing cold. Yoongi could see his breath in the air. The west wall had two small windows covered in frost. He could see a night sky full of stars. It reminded Yoongi of the Astronomy Tower. He didn’t have to search for the exit door. It was merely 10, maybe 12, paces away against the far wall. It would be simple to walk the distance and leave.
In the middle of the room sat an unmarked wardrobe, about 7 feet tall.
Yoongi looked at the cupboard cautiously. There was nothing special about it on the outside. Carefully, Yoongi stepped forward. The door of the wardrobe swung open with a creek.
“Jin?” Yoongi asked. Kim Seokjin was climbing out of the wardrobe, smiling at him.
“Hey,” He laughed. Yoongi stared at the boy.
“What are you doing here?” Yoongi asked. Jin smiled. “... Jin?”
Jin’s smile stayed glued into place and his gaze trained on Yoongi. His eyes became glassy.
“Jin?” Yoongi asked again. He walked up to Jin and placed a hand on his shoulder. Jin’s smile faded. “Jin.” His gaze shifted so that he was staring aimlessly over Yoongi’s shoulder. Suddenly, Jin collapsed.
“Jin!” Yoongi fell to his knees, trying to support the older boy. Yoongi clutched at his face. It was lifeless. “What’s happening?”
Unable to support him any longer, Jin dropped to the floor completely. Yoongi pounded on his chest mercilessly.
“Wake up! Jin!”
Yoongi blinked and Jin was gone. He had been replaced by the empty body of Hoseok.
“No.. Hoseok.” Yoongi briefly registered tears falling down his face. His hands flitted over Hoseok, like he was trying to help but he didn’t know how. Hoseok’s face was as lifeless as Jin’s had been. His eyes were wide open and cloudy. “Please.”
Yoongi choked on a sob when he blinked again and Hoseok’s body changed. Y/n’s dead body lay on the ground in front of him.
“No…” Yoongi trembled and tears rolled down his face like a river. He grabbed Y/n’s body and pulled her against his chest. Her body was cold. “No..” Yoongi sobbed. He rocked on his knees and cradled Y/n’s body to his chest. “No, no, no, no, no, no.” He repeated the words into Y/n’s hair like a mantra.
Hours could have passed and Yoongi wouldn’t have known. He stayed in that position longer than he should have. Eventually, Yoongi came to his senses. It was Boggart, designed to show Yoongi his biggest fears. It wasn’t Y/n, it wasn’t Hoseok, and it wasn’t Jin. They were all fine.
Yoongi sat up on his knees and looked down at Y/n’s dead body. He wiped at his face embarrassed. Surely all of Hogwarts was able to watch the Champions maneuver the rooms. Yoongi pointed his wand at the body.
“Riddikulus” He whispered. With a Snap! Y/n’s form changed into a wobbling Jack-In-The-Box. Yoongi stood shakily. Blood splattered the floor where he had been. Taking deep breaths, Yoongi limped to the door and left the room.
“Oh shit.”
Standing in the room, growling, frothing from the mouth, and hungry-looking were three vicious Chimaeras. Head of a lion, body of a goat, and tail of a dragon. Yoongi had never particularly liked any of those animals. Past the three snarling beasts, he could see an exit door against the far wall like the other rooms. Yoongi gripped his wand tighter in his hand.
“Stupefy!” Yoongi yelled, aiming for the Chimaera closest. It stumbled back and seemed to shake it’s mane. The other two bared their teeth and crept forward. The Chimaera on the right lunged forward suddenly. Yoongi threw up his arm in defense, but the beast bit down on his outstretched limb. Yoongi cried out as the sharp fangs tore his skin. He dropped his arm in an attempt to pull away his arm. The chimaera unhinged it’s jaw and released Yoongi. Blood gushed like a faucet from the long gashes. Without thinking, Yoongi used his uninjured arm to cradle his right.
The chimaera on the left lunged. Instead of biting down on Yoongi, it used it’s long fangs to scrape along his side. Yoongi fell to his knees in agony. Blood was pooling around him rapidly. He groped for his wand along the stone floor. Yoongi spotted it in between the feet on the largest Chimaera, having rolled away from him.
Down on his knees, holding himself up with one arm, Yoongi realized he was defenseless. His body felt cold and pain stabbed him everywhere. Yoongi looked up just in time to see yellow fangs were closing around him.
Everything went black.
~ ~ ~
Yoongi felt like someone was banging a drum on the inside of his skull. Sharp pain throbbed behind his eye sockets. With difficulty, he opened his eyes. It was blurry, but Yoongi could see a dimly lit ceiling. It smelled of chemicals. He pushed himself up on his elbows.
“Ah-” Yoongi groaned. His body was sore everywhere and sharp pain sprung from a pulling feeling on his side. He was laying in a bed with crisp white sheets. The Hospital Wing. Yoongi looked down at his arms. The right was wrapped in bandages. From shifting in his cot, Yoongi could tell that his midsection was wrapped similarly. He pulled himself fully into a sitting position. The room was dark. The windows proved that it was nighttime. Blue curtains were drawn around his bed.
“Mmm” Someone moaned. Yoongi flinched at the sudden noise. Shaking his head, Yoongi rubbed his eyes to clear his foggy vision. Someone was sitting in a chair next to his bedside with their head rested on folded arms against his cot.
“Y/n?” Yoongi said. The previously sleeping girl jolted.
“Yoongi!” Y/n’s voice cracked when she spoke. She stood up and immediately started fussing over him.
“Oh, my God. I was so worried. Are you in pain? Should I get Madam Pomfrey? It’s almost time to change your wounds anyway, so I might as well.” Y/n ran her hands through her hair. She was clearly frazzled. She spoke with her arms flailing “Thank Merlin you’re awake. Everyone has been insane with worry. I should really get Madam Pomfre-” Yoongi reached his arms out, wincing, and wrapped his hands around Y/n’s wrists to quiet her. Y/n froze and looked at Yoongi when he pulled her hands close to his chest.
“What happened?” Yoongi asked. His voice was hoarse. Y/n sat carefully on the side of his bed.
“We were all watching you through the rooms,” Y/n started. Yoongi nodded for her to continue. “When you got to the Chimaeras, you were already hurt. McGonagall wanted to pull you out then, but the ministry officials wouldn’t let her. When you started losing so much blood and passed out, she pulled you anyway. Natalia had won the tournament by that point anyway, so it didn’t really matter.”
“How long was I unconscious?” Yoongi asked. He still held Y/n’s hands to his chest.
“Five days. They put you in a bewitched sleep.” Y/n said. She looked down at the sheets. “... I thought you were going to die.”
Her voice broke and Yoongi didn’t have to look to know she was crying. He reached out with his good arm and lifted Y/n’s face. She leaned into his and he brushed away her tears with his thumb.
“I didn't,” Yoongi said with a small smile. Y/n laughed and nodded. “I’m surprised that you’re here,” She looked up at him, guiltily.
“Yoongi, look,” Y/n said. “I know what I did was wrong and I can’t do anything to make up for what I did, but I’m sorry. I miss you and I understand that you don’t want anything to do with me anymore and I will accept that eventually, but you were hurt and.. I just needed to make sure you were okay.” Y/n looked like she might start crying again. “If you still want to stay broken up that’s okay, but I want you to know that I want you. I want to be with you.” She cleared her throat uncomfortably. “T-that’s how I feel, how do you feel?”
With the hand on Y/n’s cheek, Yoongi pulled her forward and pressed his lips against hers. Y/n squeaked briefly in surprise, but quickly melted into the kiss. Ignoring the pain, Yoongi lifted his arm and wrapped it around Y/n’s waist so that she was pressed into him. He kissed her with everything he could, every emotion he could convey, and all the feelings he wished he could share over the last six weeks. The tears that fell down Y/n’s cheeks matched Yoongi’s. Yoongi kissed her like it was the last thing he would ever do and the only thing he ever wanted to do.
When Y/n pulled away to catch her breath Yoongi continued peppering her lips with light kisses, again and again. Y/n put her hand to Yoongi’s face to brush his tear-streaked face.
“I thought you hated me?” Y/n asked quietly. Yoongi shook his head.
“I never hated you,” He said. “I was being overdramatic and I regretted it as soon as I said that. I was hurt and I didn’t know what to do. I’m stupid. I’m very stupid.” Yoongi joked. Y/n laughed at him and sniffled. He leaned forward until his forehead was pressed to Y/n’s.
“I love you.”
“I love you, too.”

PART FIVE
summary - Jan went on a date and saw something she shouldn’t have.
Jan and Jackie had become inseparable in a very short amount of time.
When they weren’t texting one another or hanging out, they were always talking about each other to other people. So much so that all of their friends were starting to get slightly annoyed.
“So next week, Jackie and I were thinking about going to see this—“
Gigi groaned, “Jan, please shut up, for the love of God!”
Jan paused, setting down her makeup brush as she looked at her roommate through her mirror on her desk, “Okay, who pissed in your cheerios?” she chuckled, “Someones getting cranky because they miss Crystal hm?”
Gigi flipped her off, falling back onto her bed dramatically, “Thank you, captain obvious!...it’s been almost a week since we’ve seen each other— I don’t think I can do this for another week without going crazy,”
“Didn’t you guys do long distance for like a whole year?” Jan pointed out, as she picked up a tube of mascara and started applying it to her eyelashes.
“Yeah and that was absolute hell…but we still FaceTimed and texted every day…ugh! Why did this creative retreat need to take place in the middle of buttfuck nowhere!” she frowned, “This is the longest I’ve gone without it sex since I moved here,”
“Can’t you just masturbate like a normal person if you’re that frustrated?” Jan laughed.
“Oh my god! Thanks for the suggestion, Jan! I didn’t think of that! Wow! You’re just on a roll today!” and Jan could practically hear the eye roll in Gigi’s tone, “Once you have sex with a girl, you’ll understand. Because trust me, I’ve tried but nothing measures up,”
“Well…she’ll be back next week. You’ll be fine, just don’t talk about her,” Jan shrugged, fishing through her makeup bag for her lipgloss.
“Easy for you to say little miss ‘Jackie did this’ ‘Jackie said that’ ‘Can you believe Jackie told me this’ ‘Jackie and I are going to blah blah blah’— Jan, I love you but every second word to come out of your mouth is about Jackie. If anyone needs to stop talking about someone, it’s you,”
Jan scoffed, turning around in her seat, “Isn’t this what you wanted, Jackie and I are friends now— why are you complaining?”
“It’s lovely! Fantastic even that you guys are so super close but it’s getting a little nauseating because the next time I hear about a joke Jackie told you I will rip off my own ears,”
Jan smirked, “So what do you call two Broadway shows going out to dinner—“
“I don’t care—“
“A play date!” Jan burst out laughing like it was the absolute funniest thing she had ever heard in her eighteen years of living. Gigi sat up and stared at Jan blankly, “That is not even remotely funny and just shows how far up Jackie’s ass you are,”
“Oh, cmon! It’s funny!”
“No it’s not,” Gigi chuckled out of pity.
“Well, it was funny when she said it,” Jan was still laughing, mainly to herself.
“I highly doubt that…speaking of Jackie, any progress on your crush, make a move yet?”
Jan rolled her eyes, turning back into her seat as she started brushing her hair, separating it into two sections and then started to braid one side, “Oh, so now you wanna listen to me talk about Jackie?”
“When it involves your love for her, always,” Gigi gave Jan a smug smile.
“She’s still in a relationship,” Jan sighed, not only reminding Gigi but herself.
“I thought she was going to break up with her?” Gigi said.
Jan shrugged, “I thought so too…I guess she and Nicky talked it out, I’m not sure. We don’t talk about Nicky when we’re together and quite frankly, I don’t want to,”
“You said they had a huge fight though,”
“Yeah but Nicky sent her flowers and then it’s like nothing ever happened…it’s none of my business,” Jan said, sadness evident in her tone.
It wasn’t Jan’s business but sometimes it felt like it should be. It pained the blonde to see how quickly Jackie forgave Nicky when she was sent flowers while they were rehearsing. From the talk they had, Jan was sure she wouldn’t be so forgiving…especially after the way Jackie described their fight. But then Jan saw the way her eyes lit up when she got the bouquet of roses and when she read the card…it was like poof, their fight became none existent.
It made Jan mad because she knew Jackie didn’t deserve that. Jackie deserved better than the toxicity Nicky was providing. Jackie deserved true love and care every waking moment, not when Nicky suddenly felt like giving it to her. The thing that puzzled Jan the most was that Jackie seemed aware of how bad things were between them. When she and Jan talked about it a few weeks ago, it really did sound like Jackie was done…of course, she did say that she was going to think and process everything but it still seemed like breaking it off was the obvious choice Jackie was leaning towards.
Until it wasn’t.
So it was safe to say Jan was a little confused about where they stood in their relationship but she wasn’t going to pry.
If Jackie was happy then that was good enough for her.
“Okay, fine. I’ll stop bugging you about it but you best believe we’re throwing one huge party the second they break up,” Gigi smirked, “Where are you going anyways? Didn’t you say Jackie was working? And you didn’t ask me to hang out so…?” she trailed off.
“Um ouch!” Jan grabbed an elastic from her desk and began tying off her first braid before starting the next, “You guys aren’t my only friends,”
“Yeah, but you only ever get dressed up for Jackie so if you’re not seeing her then— wait! Are you going out on a date? Is that why you’re looking hot and ready to bang?” Gigi smiled.
Jan couldn’t even deny it because the blush on her cheeks was evident, even through the makeup.
“So, who’s the lucky gal?” Gigi teased.
“Her name is Lemon—“
“Like the citrus fruit?”
“Yes like the citrus fruit— would you just let me talk? Listen! Since you’re so invested in my love life,” Jan said, “Her name is Lemon and we met at that really overpriced dance store in Soho…remember when I told you I completely ripped a hole in my jazz shoes…well when I was replacing them, she sorta watched me almost push a whole rack of tights down—“
“And she still wanted to go out with you?” Gigi cackled.
Jan rolled her eyes, “Like I was saying, she introduced herself, helped me find my shoes and gave me her number…I guess I’m still new to this whole liking girls thing so I didn’t realize she was flirting until she asked me out for lunch a few days ago,” Jan smiled, “Which brings me to today,”
“Of course you didn’t,” Gigi teased, “This is so exciting! Your first date with a girl! Oh my god, you’re growing up so fast!” Gigi clapped, faking some tears, “I have to ask though…are you going out with her because you actually like her or are you trying to get over Jackie?”
“Gigi…I wouldn’t go out with her if I didn’t like her. We’ve been texting a lot and she’s really funny, she gets my sarcasm, she doesn’t make fun of my purple obsession,” Jan cleared her throat and Gigi raised her hands up in defence, “And! Her favourite Ariana song is R.E.M, do you know how hard it is to find someone who appreciates that song as much as I do? The answer is very,”
“Okay, okay, I get it…I’m just checking,”
“Yes, I still have a tiny crush on Jackie but that is clearly going nowhere and I need to stop clinging onto the hope that it might. Jackie is taken and I need to move on. I’m happy just being friends with her,” Jan said.
“Wow…that was a really mature answer,” Gigi said, putting a hand on her heart, “I’m finally rubbing off on you,”
Jan chuckled as she finally finished her hair, glancing at herself one last time in the mirror. Turning around, she asked Gigi, “How do I look?”
“Very brunch date realness but also like you’re ready to get fucked,” Gigi said.
“You’re extremely invested in my sex life and I’m getting concerned,”
“How can I be invested in something that doesn’t exist?” Gigi laughed and this time it was Jan’s turn to give her roommate the finger. “You’re annoying and I’m leaving,” Jan said, grabbing her purse and leaving their dorm but she did hear Gigi scream to ‘use protection’ before it was fully shut.
Jan was surprisingly excited to go on this date. The last date she went on, involved her ex-boyfriend taking her on a walk around her hometown as he takes about football the entire time…it was safe to say Jan was out of practice. Especially since it was her first ever date with a girl. She wasn’t lying to Gigi when she said she actually liked Lemon. She was extremely funny and charming, gorgeous as hell and she seemed to like Jan as well.
Jan realized she couldn’t just sit idly by while she watched Jackie’s relationship with Nicky, even if they were on seemingly rocky terms. She was delusional if she ever thought she and Jackie would ever be more than just friends. There was a tiny part of Jan that thought she might have a chance when Jackie told her she was going to break up with Nicky, but then she didn’t and Jan realized how crazy that thought was.
Jackie would never like her like that and she needed to learn to be okay with that.
Jan was going to take what she could get and if that was just the two of them being friends, she could live with that. She was ready to move on from this crush that had practically consumed her life since she moved here. She was only trying to be realistic and stop herself from the future pain this crush could and would probably cause.
Jan understood it was easier said than done but hopefully going on this date with Lemon would help her realize that she needed to let go because there were plenty of single and willing girls in the city.
Like Lemon.
“Jan! It’s so nice to see you again! You look great!” the yellow-haired girl smiled as she pulled Jan in for a hug.
Immediately, Jan thought of when Jackie told her she looked great back at the club they went to for Halloween. It was nice to hear but it didn’t give her butterflies the way it did when it came from Jackie’s lips.
No— Jan, this is what you aren’t gonna do, she told herself. Jan was here to have a good time with Lemon, not compare her every move to Jackie.
“Thanks! You look gorgeous too!” she smiled, reciprocating the hug.
That wasn’t a lie, Lemon looked phenomenal. Her bright yellow hair was curled to perfection, which complimented her makeup beautifully. She was wearing a light wash pair of jeans along with a white cropped top that had puffy sleeves. Today, the weather was surprisingly sunny so Jan opted for a purple floral sundress along with some strappy sandals.
“Let’s go in, our table should be ready…did you have trouble finding the place?” Lemon asked, escorting Jan in front of her, placing a hand on her lower back.
“No, I’ve been in this area a few times…besides I’ve learned my lesson and always google directions beforehand because the amount of times I’ve gotten lost is quite embarrassing…” she joked.
“Oh? You’re not from the city?” Lemon asked curiously as they were sat down at a table.
Jan shook her head, “I’m from Rockland…Maine…you’ve probably never heard of it, it’s really tiny. How bout you? Are you from here?” she asked.
“I’m from Canada actually! But I moved here when I was fifteen to go to dance school! And I never left,” Lemon shrugged.
Of course, she was from Canada.
The only thing that was running through Jan’s mind was the fact that Jackie was also from Canada.
Jan, stop it.
She didn’t even realize Lemon was trying to get her attention until she felt cold fingers wrap themselves around her wrist, shaking her out of her trance, “I’m sorry, what?” she bit her lip out of embarrassment.
“What did you want to drink?” Lemon smiled, completely unfazed.
Jan didn’t even realize the waiter had arrived, standing in front of their table with a notepad and pen ready. “Oh! Um water is fine, thanks” she gave the waiter a half-smile. “Sorry, I’m a little all over the place today,” she laughed awkwardly.
Lemon furrowed her brows, “Do you wanna leave? We can reschedule and do this another time?”
Jan shook her head quickly, “No, no…I don’t want that…this is exactly what I need actually,” Jan smiled. “Good,” Lemon grinned, “Because I was not even close to being done complimenting you yet,”
Jan blushed and thought, maybe, just maybe, this could work out.
Lunch was going amazing…better than Jan originally thought. The pair had been at the restaurant for around two hours now and they had a lot in common, to Jan’s surprise. There was no gap in their conversation.
They got along great and Jan had never met someone who appreciated Sweetener by Ariana Grande as much as she did. She learned that Lemon went to Alvin Ailey, a prestigious dance school that she always heard other people talk about at NYU. Lemon told her she wanted to be a professional dancer, whether that be in movies, on stage for celebrities or teaching classes. Jan got the chance to tell her about Into The Woods and her role. Since Lemon didn’t know too much about musical theatre and the broadway scene, Jan was excitedly able to talk to her all about it. She found it nice talking to someone who was clueless about the subject just like Lemon did with her dance school.
Another thing Jan liked about Lemon was that she was really fucking funny, she couldn’t deny that and she perfectly understood Jan’s sense of humour. She was kind and kept complimenting Jan the whole time…so she seemed like exactly what Jan would want in a girl, right?
Except she wasn’t Jackie.
She didn’t have that same giddy and excited feeling that she did any time she just hung out with Jackie at rehearsals. She didn’t get the same butterflies that she got whenever Jackie laughed at one of her jokes or gave her a small compliment. Was this likeness supposed to be something that just developed over time? Or should Jan take this as a sign that maybe she wasn’t ready to date?
Jan felt bad for comparing her to Jackie but she just couldn’t help it. Trust, no one wants to get over Jackie more than Jan, but the task was seeming to be impossible. She knew that moving on from a crush wouldn’t just happen in the span of a few hours but Jan felt like she was going nowhere.
Lemon was the perfect girl, just not the perfect girl for Jan.
“That’s the last time I ever take a pole dancing class,” Lemon chuckled, taking a sip of her drink while Jan was busy trying not to spit hers out from laughing so much.
“Duly noted,” Jan nodded, smiling at the ridiculous story the other girl told her about the time she broke her ankle while trying to do splits on a pole in eight-inch heels.
“That was actually the second time I broke my ankle during dance,” Lemon cringed. Jan gapped, “It happened more than once?” and soon Lemon jumped into another dance fail story and Jan was engaging, leaving little comments here and there. While Lemon was talking, Jan slightly tilted her head to the side and her eyes caught sight of something she wished they hadn’t.
Her heart stopped.
She thought her eyes might’ve been playing tricks on her but the longer she stared, the more and more she knew it was real.
Nicky was here at this restaurant, but the girl she was with— the girl she was kissing was very much not Jackie.
Jan wanted to pinch herself— maybe she was imagining things because she wanted a reason for Jackie to break up with her? But then Jan accidentally knocked over her glass of water out of utter shock, shattering it on the ground, garnering the attention of everyone in the restaurant…including Nicky and there was no mistaking her.
Jan stood up abruptly from her seat, ignoring Lemons concerned gaze, “I just— I’m gonna go to the bathroom. I’ll b-be back in a sec,” and she didn’t stay to hear her response, instead, rushing toward the washroom. Thankfully, no one was inside so she enclosed herself inside, making sure to lock the door.
There was no denying what Jan just saw.
That was Nicky— Jackie’s girlfriend, kissing someone who wasn’t her own girlfriend.
What the fuck was she supposed to do?
Did she tell Jackie— obviously she should tell her. She couldn’t let Jackie stay with her knowing that Nicky was cheating on her.
Jackie didn’t deserve that.
And Nicky didn’t deserve Jackie for doing something so selfish.
Relationships were built on trust and communication and Jan knew that Jackie gave all of that to Nicky. It made Jan angry.
So fucking angry.
Did Jackie even know she was in New York right now?
Jan’s train of thoughts was interrupted by someone knocking on the door. “Sorry— I’ll be out in a second,” she called out.
The knocking continued and Jan groaned, rolling eyes as she went to unlock the door. The second she pulled it open, she was pushed back into the washroom with full force. It didn’t take a genius to recognize who it was. The girl looked a little different than she remembered. Instead of a platinum blonde, her hair was now a dark brown. She was towering over Jan and she felt herself shrink down a bit at the intimidating gaze.
No— now was not the time to be nervous. Jackie was her friend and she was going to give Nicky a piece of her mind.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” she immediately said.
Nicky just stood there, a smirk on her face, not even looking fazed. “Oh, she’s feisty. C’est nouveau ça,” she said, chuckling lightly.
“Really? Is this a joke to you?”
“No, but seeing you get all worked up is,” Nicky rolled her eyes, “I still don’t understand why my Jackie has taken such a liking to an annoying little thing like you. She usually prefers more dominant women,” she picked at her nails, looking like she wasn’t just caught in the act.
“Your Jackie? She stopped being yours the second you cheated on her,” Jan spat, anger consuming her entire body.
“Cheating is a bit dramatic, non?”
Jan scoffed, “How can you even say that? Do you care about Jackie at all? Does she even know you’re in New York?” Jan frowned.
Nicky suddenly straightened up, glaring down at Jan, making the shorter blonde shift on her feet, “No and you aren’t going to tell her either—“
Jan laughed sarcastically, cutting her off, “Yeah, try and stop me!”
“You might wanna hear what I have to say, Janice,” she said and Jan felt her heart drop to the bottom of her stomach.
How did she know that name?
“You should be very careful who you piss off, mademoiselle,” she pointed at Jan.
“What do you want?” Jan felt her anxiety skyrocket being in this room with Nicky. She clearly knew something about Jan’s past and she was nervous to find out what.
Nicky laughed in her face, “I don’t want anything from you except to keep your mouth shut,”
Jan shook her head, “You can’t be serious if you think I’m keeping this from Jackie. She doesn’t deserve to be in a relationship with a cheater— you don’t deserve her!”
“And what? You do? I see the way you look at her and trust me if you think telling Jackie about this will make her run towards you— you might wanna rethink your choices. I might not deserve Jackie but guess what? Neither do you? Once she knows what you’ve done, she’ll never want to talk to you again…so chose wisely,”
“Is that a threat?” Jan narrowed her eyes.
“No…more like a way to persuade you into making the right choice, Janice,”
“Stop saying that! My name is Jan! Jan!” she felt her heart racing and the room felt like it was getting smaller, “You’re bluffing,” she said out of defence because she was trying too hard not to think about the fact that Nicky knew.
“Am I? Would you like me to call up Dahlia, chérie? I’m sure she misses you,” Nicky pouted.
“What— Dahlia? How do you even know her…” Jan was at a loss for words.
“I did a little googling…turns out you went to the same school as my dear old cousin. She was more than happy to tell me all about you when I called and asked,” Nicky smiled, evilly, “For such a big city it’s a pretty small world,” she smirked, “Now if you’ll excuse me, my date is waiting. Don’t make the wrong choice,” and with those final words, Jan was alone again.
Jan came all the way to New York to get away from her past…and now it seemed like that was all for nothing because it just followed her all the way here.
How…out of all people? Of-fucking-course, Nicky and Dahlia were related. Never in a million years would she put the two of them in the same family but now the more she thought about it, the more it made sense. Both of them were manipulative and selfish liars who would stop at nothing to get her way.
And now Jan was torn.
Torn between a rock and a hard place.
She couldn’t let Jackie continue being in a relationship with Nicky…knowing what she was doing behind her back. But at the same time, Jan couldn’t let Jackie find out about what happened that made her move miles away from home.
Nicky was right. Jackie would never look at her the same if she knew. But keeping this huge secret from Jackie about Nicky just made her a bad friend.
What was she going to do?
“Jan?” a gentle knock on the door startled her. She instantly recognized Lemon’s voice on the other side and for a few moments, she completely forgot she was on a date right now.
She opened the door slowly, getting ready to apologize until Lemon beat her to it, “Oh thank god! Are you okay? I saw that girl follow you in here, I was getting really worried?”
“I’m sorry,” is all Jan said.
“Don’t be sorry, are you okay? That’s all that matters?”
Jan nodded, although she knew it wasn’t very convincing, “I’m fine,”
Lemon grabbed her hand and Jan thought for a moment about how nice it felt on her own. She nervously followed the girl out of the hallway and into the open restaurant, glancing around only to not spot Nicky anywhere. Lemon led them out of the restaurant and back onto the sidewalk, pulling Jan to the side.
“Here’s your bag…I wasn’t sure if you had left or not thought the bathroom window or something…everything is already paid for,” Lemon said.
“Fuck, I’m sorry— here, let me give you some money, you didn’t need to do that,” Jan reached for her wallet, “No, it’s okay. I wanted to…after all, I’m the one who asked you out,”
“Yeah but are you sure because—“
“Positive, don’t worry about it,”
Jan thanked her quietly. “I wasn’t gonna leave— I wouldn’t do that. I was actually having a really good time, I still am um…” she trailed off, unsure of what to say, “That was just really unexpected”
“Was she an ex or something?” Lemon asked with no judgement, just curiosity.
“No…she’s uh—“
“Hey, you don’t have to tell me if it’s making you uncomfortable…” Lemon said.
“That was my friend’s girlfriend…and the girl she was with was not my friend and I don’t know what to do now,” she sighed, trying to keep her composure and stop herself from crying yet again, in the middle of the street “On one hand, she deserves so much better than to stay with that bitch but on the other, she sorta threatened me with a secret of mine and said she was going to tell Jackie if I told her she was cheating,” Jan blurted.
Lemon was fairly calm right now.
“This friend of yours…Jackie? She means a lot to you, yeah?” she asked and Jan nodded, “So why haven’t you told her this secret of yours?”
“Because she’ll never look at me the same way,”
“What? Are you an axe murderer?” Lemon joked and Jan let out a little giggle, smiling sadly.
“It’s just— I moved to New York so I could start over and get away from that life. And now I’m stuck between telling my friend her girlfriend is cheating or protecting myself from losing her,”
“You’re a good person Jan, I can see that just from this one date we had. So whatever it is that happened, if you just talk to her about it, you’re not gonna lose her,” Lemon told her.
“Why is everyone in New York suddenly so good at giving advice?” Jan chuckled.
“Living in this city makes you see things,” Lemon’s eyes widened.
Jan laughed, “So I’m not the only one who sees the guy who dresses as a rat that crawls around the subway?”
“Definitely not,” Lemon responded, “I see him every time I go to work. Nice guy,” she added.
The pair stood on the sidewalk in silence.
“Jackie is more than just a friend to you, huh?” Lemon asked out of nowhere.
“What? N-no—“ Jan sputtered.
“It’s okay…I kinda just got a vibe during the date you weren’t completely with me...”
Jan sighed, this is exactly what she didn’t want to happen. All she wanted was to go out on a fun date with this great girl who was interested in her but she had to fuck that up too.
“I’m sorry,”
“Hey! Stop apologizing, it’s fine…I haven’t really been honest with you either,” she shrugged.
“What? Don’t tell me you’re secretly on the run from the government?” It was Jan’s turn to joke around now.
Lemon laughed, “Close…I just got out of a relationship a month ago and I’d be lying if I said I was completely over her because I’m not. When you came to find your dance shoes I thought you were really pretty and I told myself that maybe, this was just the universe telling me that I needed to move on…but I guess we’re in the same boat,”
Jan laughed at the situation, “Well…this is not exactly how I thought the date would end,” she stated.
“It doesn’t have to end now! You’re still a really great girl and I liked spending time with you…how about I walk you home?” Lemon asked.
“Deal,”
So the two girls walked back to Jan’s dorm, continuing like nothing ever happened. They told each other stories, talked more about themselves and carried on getting to know one another.
And it upset Jan because she wanted so badly to like Lemon the way she liked Jackie.
“This is me,” Jan smiled, once they arrived at Gramercy, “Thanks for walking me home,” she smiled.
“No problem, I had a fun time,” she stared at Jan for a moment, “Can I try something?” Lemon whispered so quietly Jan almost didn’t hear her.
“Yeah,” Jan wasn’t sure where this was going but she wasn’t entirely opposed.
“Can I kiss you?” and Jan nodded instantly, wanting to know what her lips felt like against her own.
Lemon didn’t waste any time as she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss onto Jan’s lips. Instantly, the blonde started kissing back, sliding her hands around the shorter girl’s waist, grasping the denim loops of her jeans. Lemon placed one hand on the base of Jan’s jawline, her lips melting perfectly with Jan’s.
This kiss was different than when she kissed Jaida. Although their kiss was nice, Jan and Jaida were both pretty intoxicated. Now that Jan was sober, this felt a million times better than before. Jan knew her lip gloss was going to be all over the place but she didn’t really care.
She didn’t care because this felt good. Maybe she and Lemon weren’t emotionally compatible but they both found each other attractive and they both needed a distraction right now.
Lemon was the first to pull away and Jan was still recovering from the initial shock, “My roommate is gone right now, do you wanna come inside?” Jan said in a haze, remembering the text Gigi sent when she checked her phone a while ago.
Lemon smirked at her, “Lead the way,”
_
“Wow,” Jan huffed.
“Yeah,” Lemon responded, giggling.
Jan turned on her back, staring up dreamily at the ceiling. “That was my first time with a girl,”
“What! Seriously?” Lemon said in shock. Jan turned on her side to look at the other girl, a small smile playing on her face, “Yeah…and now I can’t believe I ever had sex with a guy,” Jan sighed with content.
Lemon laughed, “After that, neither can I,”
“I am so gay,” Jan laughed, “And to think I tried to convince myself otherwise,”
The pair sat silently in Jan’s tiny single bed. The feeling of Lemon fingers, playing with Jan’s hair soothed her and made her feel relaxed.
But when Jan was relaxed, she thought. Way too much and way too hard. It didn’t take long for Jan’s anxiety to take over. Maybe she shouldn’t have done this? She didn’t regret it but what if Lemon did? She didn’t exactly give her a window of opportunity to deny her offer of coming back to her dorm.
“I can hear you thinking, Jan…what’s wrong?” Lemon asked, moving some hair out of Jan’s face as they stared at one another.
“Do you regret this?” she bit her lip, afraid of the answer.
Lemon looked at her like she had grown two heads, “Are you kidding me? Of course not! Why would I regret it?” she asked Jan in disbelief.
Jan shrugged, “I-I don’t know—“
“I promise you, if I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have followed you up here and let you eat me out twice…trust me,” Lemon grinned. “Do you regret it?”
Jan shook her head quickly, “No way! That was…amazing, and so were you. My anxiety just gets the better of me most of the time…”
“Well since neither of us regretted it…I have a proposal,” Lemon said.
Jan chuckled, “Okay…what is it?”
“What if we make this a regular thing?” Lemon suggested.
Jan furrowed her eyebrows, “What? Like friends with benefits?” Jan asked. Lemon chuckled, “You said it not me…think of it this way, you and I get along great and we can tolerate each other…but we’re both just not ready for relationships so as a stress reliever and distraction we just have mind-blowing sex whenever one of us is horny. Simple,” Lemon flashed her a bright smile.
Jan thought about it and there was no denying that Lemon was right. What was the harm if they were to pursue this sort of relationship? Both of them agreed they weren’t emotionally available and Jan had to agree, this was a pretty great distraction from the disaster that took place at the restaurant.
So Jan nodded, “Looks like you got yourself another deal,”
“And we can put a stop to this if we ever need to…no hard feelings,” Lemon added before grazing Jan’s naked hip underneath the covers, “Are you too tired for another round?”
Jan shivered at her touch, “I have to work at five…” Jan trailed off, really not wanting to get out of bed. She watched as Lemon grabbed her phone that was sitting on Jan’s bedside table, not being shy about letting the sheet fall off of her chest, “It’s only four o’clock…what do you say we really made this deal official?” Lemon teased, nibbling at Jan’s ear.
_
Jan was maybe halfway through her shift when her phone buzzed with a text from Jackie.
Jackie - Are you working right now?
Jan - yep :( till close! why?
Jackie - Can I stop by? I’m starving.
Jan - ofc! i’ll have ur usual ready! c u soon!
Jackie was at Jinkx’s within ten minutes. Jan was serving another table when she walked in but still smiled at her, mentally signalling she would be with Jackie in a few seconds.
Jackie sat at one of the bar stools and when Jan approached her, the brunette smiled.
Her smile, god, it made Jan’s heart explode.
“How’re you?” Jan asked, standing behind the counter and leaning against it with her elbows propped up.
Jackie groaned, “Tired, hungry, stressed,”
Just as Jackie spoke, the kitchen bell dinged, signifying an order was ready which just so happened to be Jackie’s food. Jan turned around, thanking the cook before setting the warm food in front of Jackie.
“You’re a lifesaver,” she groaned.
“I know,” Jan replied sarcastically, “So, besides the tiredness, stress and newly cured hunger, what are you doing for the rest of the night?”
Jackie swallowed the bite of her fry before answering, “Probably gonna go finish some homework…Nicky and I were supposed to FaceTime…I’ll probably just got to bed after,”
Fuck.
Jan forgot about Nicky.
And what happened earlier that day.
Suddenly, a wave of guilt washed over her. The image of Nicky kissing that girl flashed through her mind and another image of Jackie crying from the morning she and Nicky had that big fight.
She had to tell Jackie.
But she couldn’t.
Nicky knew exactly what she was doing when she threatened Jan because she was completely torn.
Jan knew that Jackie was far more invested in her relationship with Nicky than Nicky herself.
Clearly.
So she deserved to know Nicky was cheating.
But Nicky knew that if Jackie ever found out about what really happened to make Jan move to the city…she would never speak to her again, which had now become one of Jan’s worst nightmares.
She didn’t know what to do. Jan knew if she were to confide in Gigi, her roommate would tell her the obvious choice was to tell Jackie. But Gigi didn’t know about her past either, so she didn’t know how troubling this truly was for her.
There was also the fact that, if Jan did decide to tell Jackie…she wouldn’t believe her. Jan technically didn’t have any proof besides what she saw with her own two eyes. Jackie hadn’t known Jan for a long time and despite them being closer than when they first met…who would she believe? Her girlfriend of two years or someone she just met?
It was just dilemma after dilemma after dilemma…Jan couldn’t seem to catch a break.
“Jan, you okay? You spaced out there for a second,” Jackie raised an eyebrow.
“Sorry! What did you say?” Jan said.
“I asked what you did today…” she chuckled.
Hm, well, let’s see.
She couldn’t exactly say ‘I went on a date and saw your girlfriend cheating on you…was threatened to secrecy by your girlfriend…was walked home by my date and then had lots of sex with her’
“Nothing…it was kinda boring. I stayed in bed all day,” she shrugged. Jackie pursed her lips, “You sure you’re okay?” she asked again.
“Hm? Oh yeah! I’m good, a little tired too honestly,” Jan lied.
Jackie nodded, not pushing Jan further although she could sorta tell the brunette didn’t believe her. Jan and Jackie quickly jumped into a conversation about a new broadway show they wanted to see together next week, then quickly switching over to the topic of school…more so Jan just complaining about having to write her history paper. Jackie so generously offered her help if she needed which honestly, Jan would probably end up taking. Every once in a while Jan would go serve a new customer that walked in but then go right back to talking to Jackie. Thankfully, Jinkx was a very chill boss and didn’t care what Jan was doing as long as she got her work done.
The door chime rang, signalling another customer and when Jan looked up, she rolled her eyes once she realized it was Gigi. Jan’s roommate plopped down on a seat beside Jackie, “Hello my lovely roommate, to what do I owe the pleasure of you barging into my place of work this fine evening?” Jan smiled.
“I’m bored,” she pouted, turning around and acknowledging Jackie.
“You just miss Crystal,” Jan pointed out.
“Really? It’s been like a week?” Jackie laughed.
Gigi faked offence, “Let me miss my girlfriend in peace. But no, I’m just bored. You’ve been gone all day and I’m still waiting to hear about your date,” Gigi whined and Jan wanted to slap a hand over her mouth.
Great.
Now Jackie knew she was lying earlier.
“Date? You went on a date today?” Jackie asked. Jan nodded slowly, “Yeah…we went out for lunch,”
Gigi seemed to realize her mistake as her mouth made a quiet ‘oh’ sound. “How was it?” Jackie asked, but she wasn’t making eye contact with Jan.
“It was nice,” Jan said vaguely. The room suddenly became very quiet and awkward. “Well, does anyone wanna hear about my day because—“ Gigi attempted to change the subject but she was interrupted by the harsh sound of the metal stool scraping against the tiles. “I’m just gonna go to the washroom,” Jackie said before disappearing down the hall by the counters.
Gigi raised an eyebrow, “So how come you didn’t tell her you went on a date? Don’t you guys tell each other everything now?” she picked at some of Jackie’s leftover fries the second she was out of sight.
“Because I didn’t feel the need to,” Jan shrugged, not wanting to make a big deal out of it. Jan felt like if she strayed on the topic too long, Gigi would somehow find out about the whole Nicky situation.
She was extremely persuasive and could sense whenever Jan was having issues...whatever they may be.
“Okay fine! I’m too excited to hear about your date to question you more…you had sex!” Gigi screeched from excitement.
Jan’s mouth dropped open, “Would you shut up! Keep it down loudmouth— and how did you know that?”
“You have that post-sex glow…” Gigi trailed off, “Plus I found some underwear that you wouldn’t be caught dead wearing. I have to hand it to you…I didn’t think you were the type to fuck on the first date! So how was it?” Gigi asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
“It was good,” Jan said.
“Good?” Gigi gave her a look, waiting for a further explanation.
Jan rolled her eyes, giving in, “Fine it was amazing and she made me come like four times! Happy?”
“Very,” Gigi smiled, “That's all the details I get?” she whined.
“I can’t wait till Crystal gets back—“ Jan groaned.
“C’mon! Don’t be—“
“Hey guys…I think I’m gonna head out,” Jackie appeared back from the washroom, gathering up her things and putting on her coat.
“Oh!” Jan said, slightly disappointed, “You okay?” she asked, wanting to check in.
“I’m good…just tired,” Jackie smiled, pulling out a few bills from her bag and placing them on the counter, “Nice seeing you Gigi…I’ll uh see you tomorrow during rehearsals, right?” she asked Jan.
“Yeah! I’ll be there…see you tomorrow, Jackie,”
Jan watched her figure disappear through the door of the diner and down the street. She frowned as she stood there and couldn’t help but wonder if she was the reason Jackie left so abruptly.

What happens in Vegas.... 😈
So last night was night two in Vegas.
Tumblr media
Naturally I wore the Iconic pink dress from summer 2018 which is already a bad omen 😂 that I’m gonna get into some trouble.
So we went to the club and I snuck an entire bottle of fireball through multiple security without anyone noticing.
Stephanie 1
Club security 0
The trick is to flirt with them and always hold it in the opposite hand.
We had a good time came back to the hotel and tiye tells me she got us a MOTHA-fucking party bus!
Ayeeee!
To go to the strip club fa free!
I was like hell yes!
Also I was soooo drunk and hitting on everybody.
Hard.
So as soon as we walk through the door I saw this sexy waiter, I don’t remember what ethnicity he was exactly, but he looked Hispanic.
I was allllll over him I put both hands on his chest we were flirting and talking.
He told me he’d really meet me after work (to fuck)
And I got his number.
So we all go and sit down and the first show a bunch of the guys come up to us and separate us.
This tall but very sexy (Amazonian man)
He was a dirty blonde, he had glasses. He was wearing jeans.
Came and danced on me and made me smack his ass multiple times. (Awk)
He came on very strong and i was trying not to do anything because I didn’t want my 1 boo to see.
But I mean we were at a strip club so what did he expect.
Anyway I was too drunk to care nor think about it.
“He kept telling me come to VIP with me.”
“I’m actually very sexually attracted to you.”
“We can stay longer than the song.”
“We can do more than what we’re supposed to.”
I was like wha? I didn’t know what to expect lmao I really thought we were gonna go back there and he was just gonna dance on me? But more sexy?
So I was like like okay fuck it and I left tiye and lyndsay to get a private daaaaaance!
As soon as we got back there though things heated up.
He started making out with me.
He pulled my top down and starting sucking on my nipples, and.....
No good way to say this.
I sucked his dick.
😂😂😂 I know I can’t believe it either.
Wild.
He was fingering me and he pulled my outfit to the side and ate me out.
He was sooooo good at everything an amazing kisser.
Amazing body.
Hot hot hot.
Anyway he keeps telling me after a couple songs go by.
We have to go or else the manager is going to come check on us. We were in there wayyyyy longer than I paid for and what’s allowed.
Also I don’t know if eating girls out and getting your dick sucked is typical VIP behavior.
He was like I want to fuck you so bad.
You’re short I think you’re adorable.
I love everything you have going on.
I was like you probably just say that to all the girls.
He was like “no! Seriously I’m attracted to you that makes my job so much easier.”
We kept making out some more.
I bent over for him which definitely showed my whole ass.
Ps. That dress shrunk as if my ass didn’t hang out of it enough.
So when we got out of VIP he tells me we should go to my hotel. He said We can have dinner we can cuddle have sex and then he can leave but that I had to pay 1,000$
I was like 😱😳
I said “hell no, I’m not gonna pay for sex!”
He was like “well how much do you have? How much can you give me.”
I was like “I don’t have any money I’m broke I shouldn’t have even been spending my money for that dance.”
Eventually after him he one sided negotiating cause i told him no he lowered it to “ just 100$”
I was like no! Lol and his arrogant ass was offended.
He was like if you can’t do that for me then that pisses me off because I am worth wayyy more than that. I’m lowering it a lot because I really am attracted to you. I’m a model. I’ve been published. This will be the best night of your life. Blah blah blah.
So we are negotiating with my arms around his shoulder and his hands around my waist.
Then I felt someone gently cup my ass as they walk by.
I thought it was tiye and I turn around,
And it was Kevin! Boo 1 from earlier! Totally forgot about him cause I was so wrapped up in boo 2.
He saw me with the other guy and did that to deliver a subtle message to me.
Leo (Amazonian) didn’t notice he was still trying to convince me to go home with him. For a price.
So finally he goes “if you’re not interested can you just tell me so I’m not wasting my time.”
Then I told him “okay I’m not interested.”
He looked mad like he wanted to say something more, then just goes “goodnight.”
So I go back to my group and I see the white suite guy, (boo 1) by the elevator and I’m waiting there with lyndsay to go and I tell her about what happened.
She was like “what!!!!” Lmao shook.
Next thing I know tiye comes back and white suit guy is holding her how I was holding my guy.
So that was it and we get back into the bus and I texted boo 1.
Tumblr media
Also the most scandalous part? Tiyes been waiting for a text from him....
He’s already texted me back.
And she keeps talking about how great her experience was with him in VIP.
I was like you were with him in VIP?? her experience was kinda similar but I definitely got more out of mine.
She was like “yeah I told him you’re newly single, and he said that explains why she came on so strong.”
Haha actually that’s because I was drunk and horny 😈 stefani is a real bitch.
Also I spent damn near 200$
And I don’t want it back 😆😜
