ELITE UPDATE 2: THREE SEASONS FINISHED

Ookayyy let's go so my first elite (let's say review) was after watching just 4 episodes and forming a holy shit amount of opinions for every character coz boy was I wrong..anyways I just finished 3 seasons of elite!.. like wow can't believe that. so let's talk about it. Firstly I get that this is a murder mystery show but like do we get someone or the other getting killed of in the end or like what? okay first things first I said some wild things about some of my babies and i really wanna retract my statement because these people are my babies.. guzman, lu, omar and ander lord i had absolutely no idea that there characters would be here now, like god! okay nadia and guzman I was shipping it then and I am shipping it now (although they broke up, but fuck that! they're still together for me) yeah, so like, believe me no one I repeat not a single person saw the whole nadia and lu friendship coming , like it literally hit me and I was like wha-

THE throuple ended, some people died and we got our second favorite couple - samuel and carla!! aghhh they were soo cute. love them so much! just fyi if you also love them, then don't see the short stories they literally broke up every single couple in there) now coming back to the elephant in the room- POLO*** jesus but I from a hundred miles away could not even think this was gonna happen, like my 1st update is evidence of that, I was so indifferent towards him coz I just didn't care! he was a sidekick imo but somehow this guy even after MURDERING someone made me feel sympathetic for him!! for a murderer like how did they do that!? Polo's death actually made me cry more than marina's ( never liked her but still). He was going through so much . He was in pain. like watching him struggle through life was insanely difficult and his mom supporting patriarchy after being in a lesbian relationship was another level of rage for me. But boy the guy did have a thing for throuples (I am still wrapping my head around the first one) ooh and newbies-- cayetana ,rebeka ( not sure i spelled it right), valerio (*heart eyes*) oh and emir ( idk if that's the name but carla's rich bf) These people somehow pulled the rug right out of my feet. Valerio was in the headlines in s2 and s3. Firstly s2 the whole thing with lu..ooh but that was a bit (no actually very much) weird. Let's not go there. Yeah and the whole cayetana thing..nicee ( as in story wise not in disrespecting your mother for her work wise) i don't really like her tbh but I have a strong gut feeling that I would eventually end up loving her. I still wanna say sorry to guzman. You're the best srsly. samuel I love you, but what you did to rebeka was wrong. So fuck you ( but like gently) yeah uhm rebeka.. okay so new story and lots of drama *widens eyes* obv I love her like how could anyone NOT love her. She's a total babe. ugh this is getting really long okay yeah so about my future elite plans...? none for now, I feel like s3 ended on a good note for me. And if I am being honest. I dug up a bit and found out that samuel and guzman have some beef over a girl in s4 and I am def not in the mood for seeing there friendship get messed up. So yeah for now it's a goodbye to elite. I feel like there should be one more update coz I missed some major plot points like the whole ander and omar thing, and nadia's dad and yeah lu and party scene but *shrugs* let's see.

Finally rewatching the umbrella academy fully to prepare to stand before the shit storm that I believe is season 4 for the first time.

I have been putting this off for the longest time but the fanfics are updating and those are my last hope.

After I rewatch and remember why I love tua I shall return.

Prepare for dramatics, and the occasional (unserious) tantrum because nothing breaks my soul more than watching netflix either cancel shows before they can reach their potential or allow good shows to go so down hill that nothing can save it except fanfiction

I have been so normal about lmk s5. I've been so chill just rewatching the show and thinking about it and enjoying s4. And then we got those "s5 is gonna get real" posts from the va's and now I'm biting at the walls. I'm losing my mind. I'm vibrating into oblivion

an unexpected development on s4 of The Umbrella Academy: someone watched a few too many episodes of The Boys

currently hyperfixated on mike wheeler and st and thinking about mike finally visiting the byers in california…. mike had spent the last entire school year not telling literally anyone how he’s been struggling with will and el being gone. he’s been able to keep up with his relationship with el, but only because he thinks he knows how a boyfriend Should act. he writes letters, tries to be normal. it might've worked, except for the fact that mike and el were lying to each other constantly.

but with will, he’s lost. losing him again feels like too much, he misses him in such a fundamental way that he just has to move through the days without thinking too much about it bc he would fall apart. he knows dustin misses will too, but at this point mike's aware that he misses will in a different way than dustin does. and he's also probably a little salty that will doesn't seem to miss him in the same way, or need him as much.

hence the weird vibes when he gets to california. he knows how he’ll greet el, but with will, there’s a divide. then everything goes to shit, but at the same time mike feels back to normal again. he’s able to talk openly and honestly with will, the only person who truly listens and communicates with him.

and the way when buck is blowing off steam the one he’s talking to is eddie?? and eddie is there to support him and validate his feelings and say he doesn’t have to apologize if that’s how they made him feel even though maybe he could’ve gone about things differently?? KILL ME NOW!!!

the support they show for each other every time, taking care of each other like that?? just gets to me.

(also, as a side note, while buck was wrecking that punching bag and eddie WITH ONE ARM ONLY stopped it from moving to get buck’s attention?! i was just going ‘sir 👀👀👀👀👀👀’ i just know that man can manhandle buck anytime he wants, i know it)

S4 E1 Supernatural

Jensen is great at playing characters that have to dig their way out of their graves. Bobby and Sam didn't take Dean's death well, Bobby drank and Sam started leaning into his psychic powers. They (rightfully) had to test and see if Dean was Dean, and literally no one knows what could have plucked him from hell. Sam kept the necklace that he gave to Dean as a kid 😭. Sam also thought it was a good idea to modernize the Impala, use is psychic powers and hang out with ruby. He's got a interesting way of grieving but ok. On to exciting news it seems I've finally gotten to Castiel's intro. I like how they threw everything they had at Castiel and he just took it and gave Bobby a nap. It's kinda sad that Dean doesn't think good things can happen. I hope Sam great a smug moment in the future, cus of the Angel that was really a spirit episode.

standing under a boiling hot shower last night talking to myself about how odd it is that people still think “the duffers wouldn’t do something that deep/complex/intricate and hide so much information because the general audience wouldn’t be able to pick up on it” is a valid argument as if the show wasn’t immediately massively popular to the point that they probably could’ve ignored the general audience this whole time and as long as they had a coherent story it would’ve continued to gain traction. it’s their show, they’re gonna do whatever they want with it and hide as many secrets as they can and they will get away with it. why should they "dumb down" their work when they want to live up to their own standards. i think i'd rather die than only do surface level shit to "appeal to the most people."
