I just need a chilly, cloudy, rainy day with my f/o.

I want to bake treats and have my favorite desserts with them, making jokes and creating silly decorations on the cookies. We would giggle and feed one to each other. Picking out all of our favorites, taking cute pictures of them to cherish for later.

I want to watch something interesting and lay with them under a comfy blanket, enjoying the comfortable silence that is each other. The tv would make for perfect background noise as we relax. We'd hold one another close, I feel a sense of peace and gratitude for these small moments.

I want to borrow their sweater, the one that's just a little too big, it smells exactly like them. It makes me feel even more like home, especially knowing it's theirs. They'd make a comment about how cute I look, giving me the warmest smile.

The sun would set and we'd get sleepy, having enjoyed the day. We didn't do too much, but having that time with my f/o and I would be just what we needed after life's daily tasks and chores.

really fucking tired of people assuming that liking harry potter and anything adjacent makes you a transphobe, because in my experience the people left in the fandom are some of jkr’s best haters - we literally can’t wait for the transphobic bigoted cunt to die and if we had it our way we’d redistribute her wealth to fund the nhs’ gender-related healthcare. death of the author? yes please! we literally cannot wait for her to be six feet under!

and while we wait for her to kick the bucket we are over here making all of her characters gay as hell and taking people she wrote about it in one sentence in a 800 pages book and we give them lives and stories that mirror our own experiences of feeling othered in society because of our sexuality, transness, race or class. we literally don’t give a shit about the canon and gender-bend everyone to our liking. we discuss critically and pick apart any of the text’s original biases. it’s a fucking queer fest over here. any hint of bigotry is quickly shut down.

so it feels particularly shitty when you wake up to a message saying that “my love for harry potter drives trans people away from you” because like - if you even spent 0.5 seconds looking at my blog you’d see that it’s completely the opposite. i’m a better trans ally because of my relationship with harry potter. i’ve had to have conversations with my family about trans rights to explain to them why i didn’t support jkr anymore and why i didn’t want harry potter merch as gifts or see the new movies. i constantly remind my friends to not support her or wb financially. and it’s certainly not the first thing i bring up in conversation when i meet a trans person.

i understand where the person who sent that ask is coming from - as a trans person you have the right to be completely done with it. but one thing is blocking people and going your merry way and the other is coming into their ask and make hurtful assumptions that just spread more negativity. i think that’s pretty low, actually. but i’m not angry about it- just disappointed.

The bad thing about chasers isn't that they desire trans people. That is not a bad thing - in fact, I think it's pretty weird if your only criticism of chasers is that they want to be with trans people. Desiring trans people is fine, and in fact, is normal.

However, what's wrong with chasers is when they objectify trans people - when they do not respect that we are people, that some of us transition/don't, or that some of us don't want to be with them. The desire isn't wrong, but the objectification is. You can desire trans people without dehumanizing us, you know? Like, there's a difference between "I like you and your transness" and "I solely desire you for your transness, and I do not think you are an equal to me"

I have a gift for y'all today !!! 😊 Ever wanted to find a line in Re:Kinder in a single place for the sake of reference?? How about multiple chunks of lines. how about all the little variations that arise in the text with it's many endings, item descriptions, text that comes from interacting with the enviroment, and character info from the menu without having to boot up the game and go through it at long minutes!!???

well i sure did😊 Since I do a lot of fanart and think up my own silly theories and thoughts that need me to reference the game lines a lot, i have made a transcript for it for convenience's sake. A weirdly thorough transcript handwritten and proofread by me including all character lines available in-game. And I'm sharing it with you all today for anyone that wants it !!! :3 To use as a reference for creative fanworks or a quick search for a line in-game, whatever you wish to use it for!!

It uses the english translation of the game by vgperson. So naturally all credit for the game lines available in here is to her and Parun who made the game.

I did my best to organize it in a way easy to digest. Do note that I'm still human, and there's still the chance for mistake in it no matter how much I've proofread it, since I'm not even an english native speaker ^^. But I hope it serves you well nonetheless if you wish to use it.
