Pirates Log 2

What an adventure these last few days have been! We did a bunch of stuff from the quest board!

I also got to try my hand at building the Herons a bran new stage! I decided to put it right in the middle of the lake! It looks really good if i do say so myself!

I also went on an adventure with Kyle and Owen earlier today! We had to kill this weird bear thing. it was strange, but the money was good!

I also tried to do a task with Eloise, one of the new Herons where we had to go find and slay a large bug man... He is much stronger than he sounds haha! But once we got Owen to help us, it was a piece of cake! So much so that we ended up doing 2 more quests together as a group! We killed a ghostly pirate and another one of those bug guys! So im sitting pretty at like 2k gold now! Mum and Dad wouldnt believe how good a job Im doing if i told them!

I also finally caught up with Acho! It's his birthday in a few days, which he obviously forgot like usual haha, I made him an apple pie, which he liked! It was a little awkward to start, but we ended up catching up and I think i understand him a bit more now... Oh he also has the cutest new dog, Dipper! I had to help get him back from the island Acho found him on! I didn't realise how much I was missing having my brother, but Im so glad he's back

I don't know what will happen going forward, but im gonna do my absolute best to look after him. I wont lose my brother again...

Anyway, I should sign off, its been a busy few days and i need some rest! Oh last note, I seem to have attracted a few Magpies who seem interested in what im doing... As long as they dont steal my shny things, im willing to keep them around for a bit! Right, I should go! Until next time!

I dont know the point if them mself but i like my gel top coat it makes my nails so shny AND have such a pleasant slidey texture. I actually stole it from mu mom lol but she never paints her nails anymore so whatever

It's so good, the little ingredient bowls are constantly clipping into the tablecloth and everything is clipping into the bread and the mechanic is essentially useless for casual play but is EXTREMELY USEFUL for post game because of being able to use it for EV Training, breeding, and shny hunting, so the most hardcore Pokémon players get to make so many shitty shitty sandwiches.

The best strat is to just dump the top bread on the ground instead of trying to put it on because putting it on makes the entire sandwich act like it's made of rubber and can bounce ingredients right off, and you don't need the top bread to get the sandwich to work.

The sandwich gimmick in scarlet and violet is so awkward it's funny. It's not mechanically all that fun to build it and how you build it doesn't matter. The effects don't make a big enough difference that you ever need to do it even once. They did not animate you or your pokemon actually eating the sandwich. This still involves hundreds of items and entire shops throughout the game. I'm very entertained by its inclusion both in spite and because of it being objectively bad.
