a/n: this is kind of an odd idea, but i didn't wanna scrap it. soo, i'm still posting it now for the like 2 other seiji fans out there :')

seiji's social medias are full of you!

in fact, the only thing he ever posts about online is you!

seiji couldn't be happier to be with you and every time the two of you go on a date, study together, train together – however small it may be, he'll post about it!

seiji's not trying to brag or anything, but he just isn't the type of guy who's able to keep his relationship to himself.

he wants to show his friends all the things he did with you!

like that time the two of you went to the aquarium and saw some penguins. or when you made him chocolate for valentines day. or that other time when you fell asleep while studying together.

seiji cherishes every moment by your side, no matter how big or small. they are all the same to him! every moment with you is special and worth sharing with his friends online!

Horikoshi mention in Seijis profile that he really liked his character and wanted to make some smaller comic about him on his free time about his everyday life. Meatball Guy misunderstood the assignment. First of all, he didn't understand his own role in this exam. He was an examinee being judged on whether he had the skill and character to be worthy of becoming a hero. And he immediately went around trying to judge as many other people as unworthy as possible because he assumed he was qualified to make a decision on who makes the cut (He is so very much the son of a prison guard. Very on brand).

But beyond that, Shishikura was wrong about whether there always needs to be new heroes. One of the main themes of this manga is that anyone can become someone else's hero under the right circumstances. And on a more practical note, why in the world would he think more heroes would be less necessary after All Might's retirement?

There's so much symbolism going into how Shishikura is drawn without arms for most of this fight. BNHA puts a lot of focus on arms/hands and reaching out to others. Shishikura was often drawn without them via use of his quirk to illustrate his decision to go out on his own and put down others without lending a hand to a single person.

It pleases me a bunch to see that my last post was received really well, So I'm gonna drop the wack ass family tree I made today and explain some things

Okay, so this is the tree, obviously, you can click it and zoom in to read everything, but i'll explain most of it below.

I'll explain the connections first and then go into more detail.

Edgeshot and Kurono

Now, there's actually a really good thread that someone already made under the #edgeshot tag, but I don't have the link to it copied right now, so you'll probably have to search for it yourself, but basically

They have very similar quirks and appearances, from the hair to their resting faces, its eerily similar. Their quirks both required some sort of distortion of their body to work properly.

I feel like they are brothers, and I feel like its possible that Kurono ran away from their family early on because he couldn't handle the stress of the lineage.

Next up,

This guy (He's unnamed as far as I know)

So, as far as I'm aware, we have no solid name for this guy nor do we know what kind of quirk he has, or if he even has one to begin with based on the way he talks about quirks changing people's perception of things, so it could be he doesn't have one at all.

I feel like he's the brother of Kurono and Shinya's mother, which makes him their uncle

On that subject, Seiji, its heavily implied that he's this man's son, so if that's the case, that makes him Shinya and Kurono's cousin.

Still on this note, I'll continue further.

Seiji's potential father could've possibly been married to a woman who had a sister that married another woman after a fling with a guy and results in the creation of Setsuna

It feels right since Setsuna and Seiji have extremely similar quirks that may be a result of their mother's genetics.

Now,

I'll finally come back to Edgeshot and Jeanist's part of the tree.

So, Edgeshot and Jeanist, right ?

We know they've known each other and been at least friends since their UA days, but possibly more of course and in this sense, they were more.

Tatami is 17 at the end of the final war, which makes her the perfect age to have been born when Edgeshot was about 18, and Jeanist 19, which would make her a teen baby.

In this idea, obviously I perceive Edgeshot as a trans man, which makes her 100% their biological daughter. Obviously, they wouldn't want it known they had a daughter publicly, but they didn't desire to give her up, which leads to her completely different name from both of them.

The reason I think she's their daughter and not possibly another sibling to Edgeshot is because her quirk isn't exactly close enough to Edgeshot and Chronostsis's to be that closely related, but its possible that the combination of Edgeshot and Jeanist's genes gave her an extra boost and made her quirk the way it was.

Jeanist's quirk is fibermaster, so he controls the fibers in clothing and can make it constrict and loosen at will.

Edgeshot's quirk is Foldabody, which makes him able to stretch his body out to be spindly and thin like a thread.

And,

Tatami's quirk is Telescopic, giving her the ability to pull her limbs into her torso like a turtle.

The combination of Edgeshot and Jeanist's quirks could reasonably lead to the mutation that is her quirk. It makes sense to me but if i need to elaborate more, don't be afraid to ask !

Extra:

Now, obviously, you probably see Mt. Lady up there in the righthand corner, and I'll explain.

So,

I feel like she's probably got a distant relationship to Jeanist, obviously somehow connected through his mother's cousin or something. They both come off as very haughty, and from their interactions, she definitely holds respect for him, more so I feel in a familial way, rather than a coworker or elder way.

What do you think a day at Shiketsu High is like? I'm trying to think of how Shiketsu would run as a school for an A.U., and aside from what we already know that it's obviously more strict and discipline-oriented than U.A., like how staff decides the class reps instead and how the student body isn't allowed to be in romantic relationships or even participate in mixed co-ed training together. Got any ideas?

Instead of rattling off a bunch of headcanons, I want to paint you a picture of what I think the general culture of Shiketsu is.

Shiketsu High School is more akin to a military academy. They pride themselves heavily on their heritage as a Japanese school, thinking a place like UA is far too "American" with how it teaches its students. Shiketsu training focuses more on the "practical" of hero work, namely fighting and rescuing. They don't encourage the kids to have much in the way of public personas or individuality as heroes. It's why a lot of the costumes tend to be more reserved and uniformed, especially when compared to Class 1-A. This collective mindset results in the students being encouraged to cooperate more with each other. It's why they tend to work so well as a unit as opposed to on their own. To further push for this, hero teachers tend to treat their students more like sidekicks when it comes to real training, trying to get them into that mindset of working as heroes. They treat exercises as more like heroes giving orders, with class representatives acting like head sidekicks. A lot more pressure is put on them as leaders, especially since they can be replaced. This tends to lead to a more merit based and hieratical school, yet one where the merits of heroes are recognized. Because while strict, they do care for their students and believe that the values of the school are carried on through their students.

i love seiji shishikura so much it's not even funny anymore. everytime i see or hear content about him, i have this urge to jump in glee and smile like a dumb idiot. Anyways!! seiji fandom wya??? we didn't get any crumbs of him in the ending (i think) 💔
