Summary: She loves the snow, it takes her back to her happiest memories. She loves Shiro Fujimoto deeply.

Waking up she felt the air was different. The event of the night before flooding her mind in a second. She had to pinch herself, a couple of times, no multiple times, the pain of the action overpowering the one of her loss.

Looking outside the window she took a deep breath and mentally got ready to start the day. The plan was simple: have breakfast; get ready; go to the graveyard with Rin, Yukio and the others; heading to True Cross Academy. She had to tell Kuro about the incident.

The church was silent if you didn’t count whoever was fixing the altar. No one dared to talk; there was no music playing and the twins weren’t fighting. It was too silent.

Entering the kitchen Izumi greeted her but his voice and words didn’t get registered by her, she didn’t want to talk to anyone.

Taking a seat at the table the girl said Grace in silence, she might have been a demon but since Shiro saved her and took her under his wings it became an habit for her to say Grace before every single meal.

“Is she doing okay?” Asked Naoya entering the room.

“Not really. She didn’t say a word since she woke up.” Answer Izumi keeping his eyes glued on her. He was worried for her, thinking that the second he was to let his guard down she was going to do something dangerous.

“I’ve heard she is going to tell Kuro about Father.” Naoya added, his friend only nodded. “Poor thing, I wonder how is he going to take the news.” was the last thing he said before taking his tea and leaving the room; Izumi on the other hand was still checking on her.

The funeral was fast, Shiro had made it clear he didn’t want anything to pompous, nor something long. A short and easy farwell was what he wanted.

She cursed at him, stupid clergy man thinking about how he wants to leave this Earth. Multiple times she asked him to stop, that his time wasn’t coming anytime soon but she had to know better: humans have a time limit, a limit that could come anytime in their life; humans die; humans are not as strong and resilient as demons.

It started to rain, at some point during the day it started to rain. Heavily as if Heaven was mourning too the loss of a great man that Shiro Fujimoto was.

She took out his glasses, she loved them, the reason why she was attached to them couldn’t be found, and she tried to find a reason, she truly did but nothing. She simply loved them.

She started talking, after Rin left with Mephistopheles she gained the courage to speak to his grave.

“I can’t believe you left me alone with the twins, we were supposed to rise them together you old man. And Kuro, how am I supposed to tell him? What am I supposed to do with him?” Taking a break she took a deep breath, she never thought it was going to be this hard. “Rin regrets everything he says, you know it, but is going to be a long way before he understands is not his fault you died.” She had to stop once again. She couldn’t believe it, he was dead. The man that saved her all those years ago; the man she was desperately in love with was gone and she couldn’t do much about it.

“Y/N Mephisto is waiting.” Yukio’s voice grounded her, a little, just that much to bring her back on Earth and noticing that she couldn’t put off talking with Kuro. He had to know, as soon as possible. She thanked him, in a whisper that the wind took away with him, in a whisper just for the two of them to hear, a whisper so delicate like her aching heart.

The drive was filled with Mephisto trying to start a conversation while she looked outside.

“He was meant to leave this place. He is…”

“Human. Pheles do you think I don’t know? Do you think I wanted to fall in love with him knowing I was going to see him go no matter what? We are not any different than humans when feelings are involved.” She looked him deep into his eyes, trying to find some comfort from him. “I… loved him Mephisto, and he left me too soon.”

“A demon in love, I had to see this myself.” He joked and before she could shut him up or defend herself he spoke again. “Just know is going to take a while, to heal I mean. And I’ll hurt, just… I’m here for you if you need to talk.” She looked back at him, lips trembling. “Or cry.” He added and she started to cry as on cue. It was the firs time since the accident.

Mephisto sat next to her, hugging her shaking body and assuring her everything was going to be fine. Eventually.

She didn’t want to. She didn’t know how to do it and seeing the situation in front of her, somewhere inside of her told her he knew already.

“Can you handle him?” Asked one of the guards. Y/N just nodded, she knew how to handle him. She knew most of the times when Shiro was with her, guiding her movements and sharing tips on how to. But now? She hoped for the best.

Kuro sensed her. Her presence radiated comfort, warmth and if she was there Shiro was there too. That was the usual. The every day basis. Where one went the other was around. That is how it was supposed to be.

Where is Shiro? Is he hiding somewhere? The voice of the cat echoing in her brain. It broke her heart hearing those questions. Because Shiro wasn’t hiding anywhere around.

“Oh Kuro, I am so sorry. He is gone.”

No, he isn’t gone. He can’t be gone.

“He is. He sacrificed himself to protect us. He died as the brave man we know he was. He… I am sorry Kuro I wasn’t strong enough to save him. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. Is okay if you hate me now, I let you down, didn’t I? Is okay you can hate me as much as you want but please don’t hope for him to come back. He is gone.” She started crying, Kuro followed her, both demon and familiar sharing a pain bigger than what they imagined impossible to feel for a human being.

Kuro turned into his pocket size and she took him in her arms, the cat kept on crying like a baby, which he was. No matter how long he had been rooming Earth right now he was a baby, crying the death of his loved dad.

Shiro was like a father to the familiar, since he was saved by the priest he felt at home with him. Sure with Y/N too but with Father Fujimoto the connection was deeper, it came from the deep of his heart and invaded all inches of his body. He had loved Shiro Fujimoto hard and those feelings weren’t going away that easy.

Demon and familiar talked on their way to Mephistopheles’ office, reminiscing the old days. They laughed a couple of times remembering how embarrassing Shiro was at times.

He loved your smile. Said the cat at some point. He loved seeing you smile. He kept on saying. Shiro love you too. That felt like a punch to her guts. She knew her feeling were reciprocated, maybe he never confessed but his actions spoke louder than words. She knew he had loved her in the little things he did; in the way he spoke to her; his body language was clear enough. Everything in him said “I love you.”

She smiled at the familiar when an idea came to mind.

“Kuro, would you like to meet Rin and Yukio?” Since Father had took in the kids he always talked about them to the cat. He told him how Yukio was the first one to learn how to walk; how Rin grew up to be a protective older brother; Kuro came to know how Yukio started studying to be an Exorcist and that he was the youngest teacher at the cram school. Kuro never met the twins but with all the stories Shiro shared, it was like he did.

Demon Mephistopheles walked out his office the moment Y/N walked by, and when she didn’t stop to get inside she called her name.

“I know where your office is, I just think I have a better idea.” She knew what was happening to the cat if she had a talk with Mephisto. The Order most probably wanted him to be caged somewhere and she couldn’t bear the thought, so why not let him stay with her and the twins?

“You know we can’t disobey orders like that.” He said hearing what she had to say.

“Oh come on, like you don’t follow orders when you feel like it. Also, since when you do what the Order tells you to do?” Mephistopheles rolled his eyes and agreed with her idea.

“But if he makes trouble…”

“He won’t. Trust me.”

Christmas was around the corner, just a couple of weeks separated them from the Holy day, and that meant the twins’ birthdays was coming closer too.

She bursted in their room, without notice but the two Okumuras were used to that.

“I want you outside in five minutes.”

“Is snowing.” Complained Yukio.

“And I am reading.” Was Rin’s excuse.

“First, I know is snowing. Second, I don’t care that you are using your brain cells today to read. I want you two outside in five minutes and if you don’t come willingly I’ll drag you myself, okay?”

“Yes ma’am.” They answered in unison.

“Great.” She said leaving the dorm.

They kept their word, in five minutes they were outside the old building and next to the second person that acted like a parent to them. She locked arms with the twins the second she felt their presence and walked in the middle of the street.

“We are go…” she shushed Yukio. Y/N didn’t care what he had to say. If he was to complain they would go down with the flew or something like that she knew the twins were going to get better in no time, and as for her, demons don’t get sick.

“Just look at the snow. Isn’t so beautiful?” She didn’t want an answer, for her it was the most beautiful think on Assiah. If she had to go back to Gehenna snow was one of the things she would miss the most. “Do you know why I love the snow?” She kept on watching the snowflakes falling down with so much grace it filled her heart with joy. “My happiest memories have to do with it. The first time I met Shiro it was a snowy day and so when our little family was formed.” She smiled, Rin too had a smile painted on his face.

“Truly is beautiful.” Commented Rin. Y/N knew he wasn’t too fond of it, so she was glad to hear him say that knowing he did it for her.

“I guess is not that bad.” Added Yukio. She rolled her eyes but she was happy like that. With her boys with her sharing a little moment of happiness after a tragedy.

• I headcannon Shiro as insanely protective, Possessive and Manipulative in general so this really isn’t gonna be a fun time.

• You are Rin and Yukio’s sister, The youngest triplet of the children born from the union of Satan and Yuri. You, Just like Rin, Have inherited the blue flames unlike Yukio. Your heart being sealed within the hilts of twin daggers.

• Shiro’s tendencies started on The Blue Night. When he had held You, Rin and Yukio in his arms for the first time he had grown a fondness for the three of you.

• Not like he’d ever admit it though, Shiro didn’t want to take care of a bunch of demon’s brats. Especially Satan’s, He had plans to get out of here and you three weren’t going to convince him otherwise.

• It’s only when Mephisto catches him in his bet, The one where he couldn’t back down from any demon (Including Nephilim) That he’s now forced to take care of them.

• He’s pissed, Furious beyond words. Mephisto had fooled him, His plan had worked and now he was forced to take care of Satan’s spawn as apart of his bet.

• Though something unexpected happens. He grows fond of you all, Becoming the primary caretaker amongst the monks at the convent. And sure enough, He grows attached

• You are the princess of the family, Both because you’re the youngest and because.. You remind him of Yuri both personality-wise and the way your smile just causes flashes back to her.

• Due to this, You’re spoiled to high hell. Plushes, Toys, Pillows and food. Everything you could ever want would be handed to you, Thankfully being able to be paid by his wage as a paladin.

• You get away with lots too, Often being the one to take the blame for your brothers when they screw up because.. Shiro just cannot stay mad at you when you smile at him like that.

• You also get a room to yourself unlike your brothers who had to share.

• Though this comes with drawbacks such as his protective aspect going CRAZY. Like Shiro will not let you outside of the convent without him, Not even trusting Rin or Yukio.

• Shiro might even go as far as to convince you that you have an illness. That's why you cant leave, Why you’re so spoiled! Shiro may even put a few of his familiars up to “convince” you, Kin of Astaroth you cant see due to not having a temptaint.

• Rin, Is the second most spoiled though its like comparing an anthill to a mountain when next to you.

• Rin gets more spoiled in privileges such as freedom to go wherever he wants (as long as he keeps Shiro updated via text every half hour) As well as actually being able to go to a normal school unlike you being home-schooled and Yukio doing his exorcist stuff.

• Though Rin does have freedom, Shiro has installed trackers on all of his devices and makes sure that he’s being safe. Sometimes if his paranoia was up, Shiro would follow him. If any demon tries to get near him then their heads would be off with a single shell of his shotgun.

• Knowing Rin though, He gets into a lot of fights. Shiro only wants to keep Rin safe so its only natural that he never sees any of his opponents again. Maybe in a news article but don’t worry about it, He was sketchy enough so he was bound to get into trouble eventually!

• Yukio is an interesting case.

• This is where Shiro’s manipulative tendencies really start to shine, Teaching Yukio since he was a toddler about demons and how to fight them. Though the reason Shiro does it is.. For a different reason than in canon.

• Yukio gets taught to look out for both You and Rin, Gets basically indoctrinated into Shiro’s own tendencies and made to believe that this was for all of your own goods.

• This makes Yukio the peacekeeper. Since you and Rin both look up to him, You both believe him when he tells you that Shiro just wants the best after you both come to him about your suspicions

• That doesn’t mean there isn’t any love for him though. Shiro teaches him to wield a gun to make sure he can defend himself and his siblings while he is away. Shiro isolates Yukio from others, Shura being his only companion since she's Shiro’s disciple.

• Kuro, Being Shiro’s familiar is often assigned to trailing you all and giving reports on your wellbeing. No secret is safe when Kuro is on the case.

• You all often get treated with days out, Shiro enjoying spending time with his kids. Parks, Carnivals or playgrounds. Wherever you all go, Shiro makes sure to keep an eye out due to all the horrid men in this world.

• When you all were little, Swear to god this man had a three-calibre baby holder. He thought it was funny but the pictures make you cringe inside.

• If you all ever do get suspicious and try to run away, Then Shiro would get absolutely pissed.

• His own children, The kids he had raised trying to get away from him? Unacceptable. With his skills and connections as the paladin it wouldn’t be difficult to find you all again, Easy dragged back to the parish by the tails if he has to.

• You’d all be grounded to high hell. Bars on your windows, Thrown into the same room so its easier to keep an eye on you all. The monks at the parish grow weary but they can’t argue against the paladin, Who threatens them with their jobs if they snitch.

• Shiro makes sure to off any person who could’ve hurt any of his kids, Easily covering it up and moving on with his day.

• He tries to make it up to you all, To try and make sure that you all don't fear him. You don’t, Right? He’s your father, You shouldn’t be afraid!

• In truth you all are horrified. The man who raised them was a monster, Committing deeds only revealed to them now and ones that made them want to throw up.

• You are crying, Unable to accept the truth as you hide under your covers. Rin lashes out like a cornered animal, Yelling so angrily but deep down he is terrified. Yukio is in denial, Insisting that there must be some explanation for why Shiro had been acting like this.

• When Satan possesses him and he dies in a burst of blue flames, He can only hope that he did a good job. That his children, And only his will be safe.

General dating headcanons for the Blue Exorcist characters.

Juzo is an interesting balance between a super caring partner who would never hurt a fly and someone who would fight entire wars if you asked him to.

In the same vein, he’s more than willing to do anything you ask of him, even if it’s something as simple as getting rid of a bug.

A really good listener. Anything you want to talk about, he’s setting aside whatever he reasonably can to put all of his focus on you.

I feel like he can be a bit overprotective at times, even to the point of smothering you but if you ask him to back off and let you do your thing, he’ll respect your wishes.

Juzo just doesn’t want anything to happen to you. He’s already lost a lot of his friends and family to demons, he couldn’t bear the thought of losing you too.

Satan’s a challenging one to write relationship headcanons for, mostly because the only “relationship” we ever saw him in was his obsession with Yuri. So I’ll try to write these as accurately as possible without making them completely toxic.

Very willing to learn from you and listen. He’s a curious being after all and, while the number of people he trusts or cares about is very small, he does value their opinions.

Definitely the kind of person (can I call him a person if he’s a demon?) to cherish quality time. He can be a bit clingy sometimes, but he just wants to spend time with the person he cares about most.

He’s also very into gift giving but be warned, his gifts may be a bit erratic at first. He’s sort of like a stray cat that’s taken a liking to you. You might end up with dead bugs and sticks beside your bed.

All of that being said, a relationship with Satan is almost certain to be toxic in some way shape or form. He’s never had a “normal” relationship and doesn’t know where to start since he doesn’t see anything wrong with his way of thinking.

Shiro is a lot like Juzo in that he’s got two sides to him in a relationship. And I don’t mean this in a bad way!

On one hand, he’s the most caring and protective partner you could hope for. He’s always paying attention to what you’re talking about and will do his best to support you in everything you do.

On the other hand, he will tease you mercilessly and play minor pranks at every possible moment. It’s one of his love languages.

Having said that, he respects you deeply and will always back off with his teasing if you’ve had a bad day or ask him to stop.

He’s also amazing at helping you relax after a long day. He’s drawing you a relaxing bath, adding some decorations (if the Vatican didn’t want him using those exorcism candles and salt for baths, why did they work so well for just that?) and cooking your favourite meal. It’s really the least he can do.

Yuri is a very caring partner. She was able to show kindness to Satan, even after everything he did so she’s certainly capable of caring deeply about someone so close to her.

She loves spending quality time with you. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, as long as you’re able to sit together.

As part of this, she loves twining one leg around yours while you’re sitting together if that’s something you’re comfortable with.

She didn’t have the best childhood, so she does sometimes have doubts about your relationship. Just give her some words of reassurance (or acts of affection if words aren’t your thing) and she’ll be feeling better in no time.

Yuri would love it if you’re interested in exorcism. She’s got a lot she wants so talk about, especially regarding demons not being as bad as everyone makes them out to be, so please let her ramble about her thoughts.

Mephisto is an interesting case. If you’re in a relationship, that means you’ve caught his attention. And that means he’s going to protect you with all of his demonic powers.

However, sometimes he can seem as though he’s only with you because he sees you as a curiosity.

If this ever gets too much or you’re doubting the sincerity of your relationship, just tell him and he’ll set aside his piles of paperwork to talk to you about his behaviour.

He loves entertaining you with his magic, as well as going on fun dates. Mephy Land is always a hit and, since he owns the place, you’ll never have to pay for any of the food or rides.

He’s surprisingly attentive when you’re talking about your day. He wants to learn more about humans and their behaviours and what better way than to study the person he cares about most.

When you have to break walls to raise new ones, it’s easy to forget you’re stuck between them. When Rin’s demon heart is freed and all attempts to safeguard his humanity fail, it’s up to Yukio to take hold of the situation, and protect what remains of the brother he’s always known. A few x Reader Headcanons under the cut!

- I don’t think he’d tell you about demons and exorcisms if you were a regular person

- Definitely tries to protect you from all that

- If you already were an exorcist he’d try to go with you on your missions as much as possible to make sure you’re safe

- May seem overbearing but only does it out of worry

- He likes joking around with you

- Always makes sure to make you feel better with all your favorite things if you’re having a bad day

- Rin and Yukio consider you a mother figure because of how often you’re around

- Kuro would definitely love spending more time with you than with Shoto when you come over (He pretends he hates it but actually finds it adorable)

- Easily convinced to go play out in the snow

- You all would have snowball fights, You and Rin vs Shiro and Yukio

- Overall he’s nice and can come off as overbearing sometimes but only because he wants to protect those he cares about!

First Meetings

Shura walked down the path to the monastery, slightly annoyed at having to come all the way from her dorm at True Cross to some shabby church. If it was up to her she'd much rather spend her Thursday afternoon going around doing whatever with her friends. 

She still dutifully came when her mentor called on her for a visit though, even if she didn't spare a single opportunity to complain about it. 

Then again, she was planning on stopping by Fujimoto's at some point sooner or later anyway. 

Rumors travel fast if you are in the right circles, the sorts of circles that Shura just so happened to be apart. And rumors like the paladin having a new mysterious charge and pupil ? Well , those sort of rumors never take much time to burn their way through a class of teenagers. 

Now usually she wouldn't pay too much mind to those. She knew that old man, and she knew that if he'd ever take another student she'd be one of the first people to find out about it. 

But then she got the call from Fujimoto asking her to come by, that there were some news that he wanted to tell her. And suddenly this rumor she overheard didn't seem so unrealistic. 

Shura.... wasn't sure what she thought about this. She didn't think her teacher would ever take another student, or not for some time atleast. The disaster now named the Blue Night was barely a few months ago , and she knew for a fact that Fujimoto had adopted a pair of newborn twins not too long ago. 

She simply doubted that her teacher would have the time.

Then again, maybe those rumors really just were rumors. Maybe this mysterious new student never existed to begin with and her teacher called for a different reasons. 

Shaking her head, Shura knocked at the door to the small monastery. Behind the door she faintly heared a voice which sounded like Fujimoto's yelling something. An unfamiliar one responded something she couldn't make out before there was some rustling and steps. 

Shura took a step back when the door opened as to avoid being hit by it. Upon seeing who opened the door however she wasn't met with her teacher like she expected. 

Instead of an old priest, a teenage boy was standing before her. The teen in question had relatively long blonde hair which was worn open and reached his shoulders. His eyes were blue, and bore a  neutral expression. 

"Uh- hello ?" Shura greeted him. 

"Greetings, I'm Arthur Auguste Angel. I assume you are Shura Kirigakure ?" 

"Y-Yeah ?" 

Normally Shura would most definitely not have stuttered like that. She wasn't some crybaby too shy to properly talk- but something was just off about this guy. 

Be it the way he talks which definitely wasn't normal for someone their age. (Who the hell unironically says "greetings" these times !? That's not even old timey anymore, it's straight up ancient !)  

Or maybe the thing weirding her out was the neutral, almost monotone pitch of voice the other had ? 

And was going on with that name !? Arthur Auguste Angel- it sounds like some sort of bad joke or something. 

Shura didn't have much more time to dwell on these various topics however. Arthur simply nodded, and took a step to the side to allow her inside. 

"Fujimoto-sensei mentioned you'd come by today." 

Swallowing, the teen nodded and entered. It was the first time she'd seen the monastery from the inside. 

It would be lying to say that it wasn't homey. Still empty in some places in terms of decoration- but that was to be expected when one considers how freshly the inhabitants had moved in. 

Arthur was walking infront of her, leading her through halls of creaking wooden floors and ivory walls. The atmosphere was still weird, and Shura felt that the tension was so thick she could cut it with her sword. 

After what felt like an eternity of silence, the two teenagers finally entered a room that looked like a mix of a living- and dinning room. There was a playpen in the room, and next to it a play mat. 

There were toys scattered on it. Probably having been played with not too long ago. "Fujimoto-sensei has to finish some work first, he'll be here in a second" Arthur informed her suddenly. 

Shura just nodded, still not sure what to make of this. 

"......" 

"......" 

The uncomfortable silence was broken by a high pitch coo sounding from the play pen. While Shura was starteled at first Arthur immideatly walked over to it. 

"There, there. No need to be lonley, I'm still here you see ?" Arthur said as he leaned into the play pen, when he came back up the teen was holding a young infant in his arms. 

"Look at that, Rin. Your brother's already fast asleep, seems like tummy time powered him out quite a bit, eh ?" The blonde commented, slightly rocking baby in his arms. 

"That's Rin, by the way." Arthur suddenly introduced as he turned to Shura. 

"He seems like a lively kid." 

"He is ! Rin's always smiling and grabbing stuff. Yukio is quieter." 

"And Yukio is......."  

Arthur just nodded his head into the direction of the play pen. Taking the hint, Shura approached it to find a second infant sleeping soundly inside . 

"I assume these are Fujimoto's kids ?" She asked, to which Arthur shook his head ‘yes’. Rin, as if he understood what she'd said, cooed another "ahhh" as if he agreed. She could even observe the infant weakly pushing himself off the chest of the older. 

He was quickly stopped by Arthur's hand coming up to stop the baby from accidentally falling. 

The blonde made no move of putting the infant back down, and ironically Shura found it a bit easier to talk to Arthur now that he was holding a child. 

Maybe it was because suddenly, Arthur didn't seem as robotic as before. You can't really give up the same vibe of neutrality and monotony when you hold a cooing baby in your arms. 

"So, I assume you're Fujimoto's new student ?" The girl asked, which earned her a nod from Arthur. 

"And you've been here since...." 

"Two weeks. I've arrived about two weeks ago." 

Shura eyed Arthur as he gently readjusted his grib to better support the baby while keeping him out of grabbing range from his hair. "Well, someone got attached fast, '' she thought to herself. 

"You're Fujimoto-sensei's first student, right ?" The boy suddenly asked. 

"Yup, I was the first. So I'm sort of your senior in that aspect I suppose" 

"Really ? I thought I was older than you......" 

Huh

Now that she thought about it- what age was Arthur ? She assumed he was around her age. 

"Well, how old are you ?" 

"I'm fifteen. How old are you ?" 

"...... Twelve." 

That caused a head tilt from Arthur. "You are only twelve ? That's....... young." 

"Excuse you !? Twelve is a perfectly normal age to be in ! Especially if you want to be an exorcist you gotta start young. Don't pretend that you haven't trained when you were twelve years old!" Shura exclaimed it like she had been insulted personally. What followed was a beat of silence before Arthur. 

"I- I can't remember."

The tone of voice was sad, lamenting almost. It was obviously something personal for the older teen.

That piqued Shura's interest. "What do you mean with 'I can't remember' ?" 

"I've got amnesia. Can't remember anything before the Blue Night- but.... from what I've been told I should have been training at twelve already...." 

Oh. 

Well, that got awkward. 

Shura was no stranger to sob stories about the Blue Night. Everyone lost someone- everyone was affected in some way. 

She simply didn't expect it to jumpscare her like that. Luckily for her however, Arthur changed to topic rather quickly. 

"Still though..... twelve is pretty young, I think. I wouldn't want them getting involved with demons that young, it's dangerous" 

The fact that the other pressed the infant in his arms closer to his body and let his gaze wander to the play pen gave Shura a pretty good idea of who Arthur meant with "them". 

In response she shrugged, but before she could get any answer in form of words out, another voice rang out. 

"Shura ! Sorry for letting you wait- I see you've met Arthur already ?" Fujimoto greeted him. Arthur respectfully bowed at the sight of his mentor. The girl on the other greeted him with a simple nod and “hey”. 

"I'll go put the twins down for their nap, if I may. It's about time." The blonde piped up behind Shura as soone as she finsihed greeting the paladin. Fujimoto frowned a bit, but gave his permission nonetheless. 

Fujimoto thanked Arthur for taking over putting the babies down as the teen picked up Yukio. Shura watched the mob of blonde hair disappear into the hallway. 

After the other teen fully vanished and is well out of earshot, Shura let out a breath and gave her thoughts on her new acquaintance. 

"What a weirdo."

Sky Blue Dawn - Sample

Bondrewd looks up from the baby, a tense silence between all three. It makes Shiro’s skin crawl, hating he can’t see this man’s face to judge his emotions. He betrays nothing in his body language either, his frame the same professional still it always is. Strange to see such a man clad in dark clothing holding a little baby in a white blanket.

There’s experience in his arms as he cradles the kid. A gentle touch that only comes from dealing with children for years. And his voice a softness that is sure not to wake him when he speaks.

“You’ve grown into a very kind man, Shiro. My current worry is making sure this boy grows up happy, healthy, and loved.” Bondrewd tilts his head. “After all, that is what makes a child grow the strongest.”

A non answer, but it’s just enough for Shiro. Bondrewd doesn’t lie, but he will happily dance around the answer. Despite his actions, there’s a weight to his words.

“Love huh? You’re not even related to the kid.��� Shiro mumbles under his breath.

“Your view on family is very sad, Shiro. Love, is what makes connections happen,” Bondrewd’s voice grows, swelling with a thick burst of energy. “Having souls that love each other is what makes people family. Blood just helps in that regard.”

I've recently been working on another fic (go figure) with a slight crossover between aoex and Made in abyss. I cannot convey how much I adore Bondrewd. His character is fascinating and the depth he has is just...it's just so good.

The idea of Rin being raised by Bondrewd slapped me a month ago. I just finished the prologue and plan to post it tomorrow. This was a lot of fun and I look forward to writing more.

I love how to fic takes the time to explore the post-war Fire Nation, since one can't simply change 100 years worth of resentment and propaganda in a day.

☆ I already loke the dilemma of destinies and the book in eah, but this fic takes it to a different level of danger and choice, and is such an engaging read. I love how well a toughened Briar works as the main character, she knows the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows once a person has fulfilled their story, so she doesn't take anything at face value.

They’re in the Waylay sharing a Moscow Mule and Old Fashioned and you cannot convince me otherwise (this is a fanfic I’m planning on writing too).

Fun Activity You’d Really Like to Get Into: Book binding!! I think it’d be so neat. I’ve got this hand bound journal that I sketch in and it’s one of my favorite things. I’d love to learn leather work and how to make your own paper! This just combines those two in a perfect way.

Last Video Game: Played? Stardew Valley! I will marry Harvey or Sam come hell or high water. Now, watched about eight hours of lore videos over? Faith: The Unholy Trinity. Horrifying game. Delicious lore. SO good. Father Garcia, my beloved <3.

Last Comic/Graphic Novel: Truthfully, it was the garbage, totally inaccurate comic called “Samson: Judge of Israel” for my Old Testament class but I don’t wanna talk about that unless you want me to rant about modern Christians reading Jesus into the Old Testament where He shouldn’t be read into (*rasa frasas in Catholic Religion Major*). I will say that the art was stunning in it though. The last one I read out of choice was Blue Exorcist! I don’t think I’m caught up with it anymore but that is my favorite manga of all time! General dating headcanons for the Blue Exorcist characters.

Lucifer is a very intense partner. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it is something to be aware of when in a relationship with him.

When he loves, it’s complete and all consuming. He will do everything to protect you from his enemies and, even at times, his allies.

Sometimes this can come across as smothering but Lucifer also respects you completely. If you ask him to back off and let you live your own life, he’ll do just that. But he will always keep a close eye on you. If anything were to happen to you, he would never forgive himself.

If you’re not an exorcist or part of the Illuminati, he’ll do his best to keep you away from the coming war. He might teach you how to defend yourself, just to know you can defend yourself.

On the other hand, if you’re already involved, Lucifer likes being able to discuss plans and ideas with you. He’s got a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and having you there helps ease the weight.

If you’re in a relationship with Shura, you’re certainly going to be going on a lot of adventures, both exorcist related and not. She’s a party animal and likes excitement.

If you’re not into that sort of stuff, she’ll respect that but she’d love it if you’re willing to be with her when she gets to properly relax and let her hair down (more than usual of course).

Shura’s a super supportive partner in all aspects. Need some words of affirmation about your outfit? You’ve never looked better in her eyes. Want her to look over your latest project? It’s looking good!

As energetic as she is, she also loves spending quiet time with you. She enjoys the peace you bring her and hopes she brings you peace in those moments as well.

I feel like Shura puts up a front a lot of the time, hiding her true self behind her overly bubbly personality. But with you, she can be honest, letting her walls down and knowing you’ll still care for her nonetheless.

Okay, Mamushi is an interesting case. She’s probably not going to react the best if you tell her about your feelings for her out of nowhere but if you give her some time to calm down, she will certainly reciprocate.

I see her as someone who is very much a fan of subtle declarations of affection. She likes it when you put your shoes next to hers when you take them off and when you link your pinkies together while walking.

Big declarations still intimidate her a bit and she’s not great at expressing her own feelings but she’s trying her best.

I feel like Mamushi hasn’t had a lot of experience with relationships before so she isn’t really sure how fast or slow it should progress. You’ll have to be the one to set boundaries or ask her to do things so she knows.

She’s also very much someone who, even though it takes a while for her to develop feelings, once she cares about someone, she’s with them for the long run.

Please may I have Blue Exorcist platonic headcanons of being the older sister age 20 of Rin and Yukio Okumura?. She knew Yuri Egin (her mother who she loved dearly) and she grew up in Section 13 for a while until she was 5..(she hated it there as she grew up in some pretty inhuman conditions as she is Satan's daughter and I don't think that Satan was a great Dad)...she was 5 during the Blue night incident. She inherited her father's Blue flames which she can control extremely well and had the same demonic features as her younger brother. She wasn't exactly the most perfect big sister but she tried her best and she is a good big sister nevertheless and she is exactly like..Yuri (her mother). She doesn't like to talk about Section 13 very much..it didn't exactly give her any joy. She's an First class Exorcist for her Knight as her Meister..since she was 7 and she was an Exorcist teacher since the age of 14. She was taken in by Shiro when she was 5 and her younger brothers were newborns after their mother's death.
